Abstract
本発明は、基材と、基材に接して積層されるゴム被膜とを含み、ゴム被膜は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、一般式(1)~(3)で表される化合物を少なくとも1種含む架橋剤および溶剤を含む組成物の架橋物を含み、ゴム被膜の厚みは1μm以上500μm以下である環状積層体に関する。本発明によれば、低い潰し圧であっても密閉性が良好であり、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮するシール材として用いることができる環状積層体およびその製造方法が提供される。
Description
本発明は、環状積層体に関し、さらには環状積層体を含むシール材および環状積層体の製造方法にも関する。
特許文献1(特開2006-214584号公報)には、半導体製造装置の真空ゲートバルブに用いるメタルシールが提案されている。
メタルシールを真空装置に用いる場合、密閉性を確保するために潰し圧を比較的高くしてフランジ同士が締結される。メタルシールはエラストマーシールに比べ高い密閉性を実現できる反面、フランジ面を損傷するため、フランジとメタルシールを繰り返し使用することができない場合がある。半導体製造装置は一般にフランジ面がアルミ製であることが多いため、フランジ面が損傷してしまうことから半導体製造装置の主要な部分ではメタルシールを使用することができない場合がある。
また、半導体製造装置で主に使用されているフッ素ゴム(FKM)やパーフロロエラストマー(FFKM)からなるエラストマーシールはフランジ面を損傷することはないが、より高い密閉性が求められる。
さらに、メタルシールを、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)をパーオキサイド系架橋剤で架橋した架橋物により被覆したシール材では、高温下での耐ラジカル性が比較的低く、架橋物による被覆部分が溶融し、密閉性が確保できない場合がある。
また、半導体製造装置で主に使用されているフッ素ゴム(FKM)やパーフロロエラストマー(FFKM)からなるエラストマーシールはフランジ面を損傷することはないが、より高い密閉性が求められる。
さらに、メタルシールを、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)をパーオキサイド系架橋剤で架橋した架橋物により被覆したシール材では、高温下での耐ラジカル性が比較的低く、架橋物による被覆部分が溶融し、密閉性が確保できない場合がある。
本発明の目的は、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮するシール材として用いることができる環状積層体およびその製造方法を提供することである。
本発明の別の目的は、基材がメタルシールであるシール材において、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮すると共に、低い潰し圧で高い密閉性が得られるシール材として用いることができる環状積層体およびその製造方法を提供することである。
本発明の別の目的は、基材がメタルシールであるシール材において、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮すると共に、低い潰し圧で高い密閉性が得られるシール材として用いることができる環状積層体およびその製造方法を提供することである。
本発明は、以下の環状積層体、シール材、製造方法および組成物を提供する。

本発明によれば、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮するシール材として用いることができる環状積層体およびその製造方法を提供することができる。また、本発明によれば、基材がメタルシールであるシール材において、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮すると共に、低い潰し圧で高い密閉性が得られるシール材として用いることができる環状積層体およびその製造方法を提供することができる。
以下、図面を参照しつつ本発明の実施形態を説明するが、本発明は以下の実施形態に限定されるものではない。以下の全ての図面においては、各構成要素を理解し易くするために縮尺を適宜調整して示しており、図面に示される各構成要素の縮尺と実際の構成要素の縮尺とは必ずしも一致しない。
<環状積層体>
本発明の一実施態様に係る環状積層体は、基材と、基材に接して積層されるゴム被膜とを含み、ゴム被膜は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、架橋剤および溶剤を含む組成物の架橋物を含み、ゴム被膜の厚みは1μm以上500μm以下であり、架橋剤は、上記一般式(1)で表わされるビス(アミノフェノール)化合物、上記一般式(2)で表わされるビス(アミノチオフェノール)化合物、および上記一般式(3)で表わされるテトラアミン化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む。
本発明の一実施態様に係る環状積層体は、基材と、基材に接して積層されるゴム被膜とを含み、ゴム被膜は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、架橋剤および溶剤を含む組成物の架橋物を含み、ゴム被膜の厚みは1μm以上500μm以下であり、架橋剤は、上記一般式(1)で表わされるビス(アミノフェノール)化合物、上記一般式(2)で表わされるビス(アミノチオフェノール)化合物、および上記一般式(3)で表わされるテトラアミン化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む。
図1に示すように、環状積層体1は、積層方向(厚み方向)から見た形状が環状である。環状積層体1の外径Aは例えば2.5mm以上1500mm以下、内径Bは例えば0.5mm以上1495mm以下であってよく、上記範囲を超える寸法を有するものであってもよい。
図2は、本発明に係る環状積層体の断面を示す。図2に示す環状積層体1は、基材10と、基材10の表面に接して積層されるゴム被膜20とを含む。環状積層体1は、ゴム被膜20が基材10上に積層されていることから、基材10が後述のメタルシールである場合、低い潰し圧であっても、高い密閉性が得られ易くなる傾向にある。そのため、本発明の環状積層体1は、シール材に好適である。
環状積層体1は、基材10の片側にゴム被膜20が配置されているが、基材10の両側にゴム被膜20が配置されていてもよい。ゴム被膜20が基材10の両側に配置されることでフランジ面および溝面の両面の損傷を抑え易くすることができる。また、基材の全体を覆うようにゴム被膜が配置されていてよい。図3に示すように、基材10がOリングである場合、基材10の全周にゴム被膜20が配置されることができる。
[基材]
基材10は、積層方向(厚み方向)から見た形状が環状であることができる。基材10としては、例えばメタルシールおよびエラストマーシール等が挙げられる。

メタルシールとしては、例えば金属薄板であることができる。金属薄板は、主面が平面であってよく、主面に溝が形成されていてもよい。また、金属薄板は、断面形状が波形やのこ歯形となるように成形されていてよい。
また、メタルシールとしては、例えばメタルOリング、メタルCリング、メタルEリング、メタルオメガリング、リングジョイントガスケット、特殊形状メタルシール等であることができる。メタルOリングは、内部が中空になったメタルシールであってよい。メタルCリングは、コイルスプリングを弾性要素とし、これを金属板(エンベロープ)で被覆したものであるバネ入りメタルCリングであってよい。特殊形状メタルシールとしては、例えば外周面または内周面にV字状の円周溝を有するメタルガスケット(例えば特開2019-027591号公報に記載のもの)、縦断面形状が
の字状または横向きのU字状であるメタルガスケット等が挙げられる。図4(a)に外周面または内周面にV字状の円周溝を有するメタルガスケットの断面形状を例示する。図4(b)に縦断面形状が

メタルシールを構成する材料としては、例えばアルミニウム;マグネシウム;チタン;アルミニウム、マグネシウムまたはチタンを含む合金;ステンレス鋼;インコネル;炭素鋼;鉛;金;銀;銅;ニッケル;タンタル;クロムモリブデン鋼;モネル等が挙げられる。基材10を構成する金属は、好ましくはアルミニウム;チタン;アルミニウムまたはチタンを含む合金(例えばアルミニウムを主成分とするアルミニウム合金)であり、より好ましくはアルミニウムを含む金属材料、すなわち、アルミニウム;アルミニウムを含む合金(例えばアルミニウムを主成分とするアルミニウム合金)である。
基材10がメタルシールである場合、気体が基材10を透過しにくくなるため、ゴム被膜20の厚みが薄い場合でも密閉性を高め易くすることができる。
エラストマーシールとしては、例えばOリング等が挙げられる。エラストマーシールを構成する材料としては、例えばフッ化ビニリデン系フッ素ゴム(FKM)等が挙げられる。フッ化ビニリデン系フッ素ゴム(FKM)としては、例えばフッ化ビニリデン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン系共重合体、2元系のフッ化ビニリデン系ゴム、フッ化ビニリデン/テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン系共重合体、フッ化ビニリデン/テトラフルオロエチレン/パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル系共重合体、フッ化ビニリデン/テトラフルオロエチレン/プロピレン系共重合体等の3元系のフッ化ビニリデンゴム等が挙げられる。フッ化ビニリデン系フッ素ゴム以外のエラストマーシールを構成する材料としては、例えばテトラフルオロエチレン/プロピレン系共重合体を用いることができる。
基材10の厚みは、例えば0.5mm以上20mm以下であることができる。基材10は、シート状であってもOリングであっても上記範囲の厚みを有することができる。
[ゴム被膜]
ゴム被膜20は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)(以下、FFKMともいう)、上記一般式(1)で表わされるビス(アミノフェノール)化合物、上記一般式(2)で表わされるビス(アミノチオフェノール)化合物、および上記一般式(3)で表わされるテトラアミン化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む架橋剤(以下、架橋剤ともいう)および溶剤を含む組成物の架橋物を含む。ゴム被膜20は、好ましくは上記組成物の架橋物のみからなる。ゴム被膜20は、FFKMが架橋剤により架橋された架橋物を含むことにより、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮することができる。
ゴム被膜20は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)(以下、FFKMともいう)、上記一般式(1)で表わされるビス(アミノフェノール)化合物、上記一般式(2)で表わされるビス(アミノチオフェノール)化合物、および上記一般式(3)で表わされるテトラアミン化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む架橋剤(以下、架橋剤ともいう)および溶剤を含む組成物の架橋物を含む。ゴム被膜20は、好ましくは上記組成物の架橋物のみからなる。ゴム被膜20は、FFKMが架橋剤により架橋された架橋物を含むことにより、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮することができる。
ゴム被膜20は単層であってよく、多層であってもよい。ゴム被膜20が多層である場合、ゴム被膜20を構成する層の種類および厚みはそれぞれ同一であってもよいし異なっていてもよい。
FFKMとしては、テトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)-パーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)系共重合体や、TFE-パーフルオロ(アルコキシアルキルビニルエーテル)系共重合体等を挙げることができる。これらの共重合体は、他のパーフルオロモノマー由来の構成単位をさらに含んでいてもよい。FFKMは、1種または2種以上を用いることができる。
テトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)-パーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)系共重合体を形成するパーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)は、アルキル基の炭素数が1~10であることができ、例えばパーフルオロ(メチルビニルエーテル)、パーフルオロ(エチルビニルエーテル)、パーフルオロ(プロピルビニルエーテル)等であることができる。好ましくは、パーフルオロ(メチルビニルエーテル)である。
TFE-パーフルオロ(アルコキシアルキルビニルエーテル)系共重合体を形成するパーフルオロ(アルコキシアルキルビニルエーテル)は、ビニルエーテル基(CF2=CFO-)に結合する基の炭素数が3~15であることができ、例えば
CF2=CFOCF2CF(CF3)OCnF2n+1、
CF2=CFO(CF2)3OCnF2n+1、
CF2=CFOCF2CF(CF3)O(CF2O)mCnF2n+1、または
CF2=CFO(CF2)2OCnF2n+1
であることができる。上記式中、nは例えば1~5であり、mは例えば1~3である。

架橋部位モノマーを共重合させる(架橋部位モノマー由来の構成単位を含ませる)ことによってFFKMに架橋性を付与することができる。架橋部位とは、架橋反応可能な部位を意味する。架橋部位としては、例えばニトリル基等を挙げることができる。
架橋部位としてニトリル基を有する架橋部位モノマーの一例は、ニトリル基含有パーフルオロビニルエーテルである。ニトリル基含有パーフルオロビニルエーテルとしては、例えば、
CF2=CFO(CF2)nOCF(CF3)CN(nは例えば2~4)、
CF2=CFO(CF2)nCN(nは例えば2~12)、
CF2=CFO[CF2CF(CF3)O]m(CF2)nCN(nは例えば2、mは例えば1~5)、

CF2=CFO[CF2CF(CF3)O]nCF2CF(CF3)CN(nは例えば0~4)
等を挙げることができる。

CF2=CFO[CF2CF(CF3)O]nCF2CF(CF3)CN(nは例えば0~4)
等を挙げることができる。
FFKMにおけるTFE由来の構成単位/パーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)またはパーフルオロ(アルコキシアルキルビニルエーテル)由来の構成単位/架橋部位モノマー由来の構成単位の比は、モル比で、通常53.0~79.9%/20.0~46.9%/0.4~1.5%である。上記構成単位の比が異なる2種以上のFFKMを用いることもできる。架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)は、好ましくはニトリル基含有パーフルオロビニルエーテル由来の構成単位を含有し、より好ましくはテトラフルオロエチレン由来の構成単位、パーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)またはパーフルオロ(アルコキシアルキルビニルエーテル)由来の構成単位、およびニトリル基含有パーフルオロビニルエーテル由来の構成単位を含有する。
好ましく用いられる架橋剤の具体例は、2,2-ビス(3-アミノ-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)ヘキサフルオロプロパン(BOAP)、4,4’-スルホニルビス(2-アミノフェノール)、9,9-ビス(3-アミノ-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)フルオレン、3,3’-ジアミノベンジジン、3,3’,4,4’-テトラアミノベンゾフェノン等が挙げられる。好ましくは、BOAPが用いられる。
組成物中の架橋剤の含有量(2種以上を用いる場合はその合計量)は、架橋性フルオロエラストマー100質量部に対し、例えば0.1質量部以上5.0質量部以下であってよい。
溶剤としては、未架橋のパーフルオロエラストマーを溶解できる揮発性の液体が用いられる。溶剤としては、例えばパーフルオロカーボン、ハイドロフルオロエーテル、ハイドロフルオロカーボン、パーフルオロエーテル、ハイドロクロロフルオロカーボン、パーフルオロアミン、フルオロアルコールなどのフッ素溶媒が挙げられる。中でも好ましくはパーフルオロカーボン、パーフルオロエーテル、パーフルオロアミンである。
組成物は、組成物の総量に対し溶剤を除いた固形分が例えば0.05質量%以上10質量%以下であってよく、溶解性および塗工性の観点から好ましくは0.1質量%以上5質量%以下、より好ましくは0.5質量%以上5質量%以下である。
組成物は、加工性改善や物性調整等を目的として、必要に応じて、共架橋剤、老化防止剤、酸化防止剤、加硫促進剤、加工助剤(ステアリン酸等)、安定剤、粘着付与剤、シランカップリング剤、可塑剤、難燃剤、離型剤、ワックス類、滑剤等の添加剤を含むことができる。添加剤の他の例は、フッ素系オイル(例えば、パーフルオロエーテル等)のような粘着性低減(防止)剤である。添加剤は1種のみを用いてもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
ただし、環状積層体1を高温環境下で使用する場合などにおいては、揮発、溶出または析出を生じるおそれがあることから、添加剤の量はできるだけ少ないことが好ましく(例えば、架橋性フルオロエラストマー100質量部あたり10質量部以下、好ましくは5質量部以下、より好ましくは2質量部以下、さらに好ましくは1質量部以下)、添加剤を含有しないことが望ましい。
架橋性フルオロエラストマー組成物は、必要に応じて、シリカ、アルミナ、酸化亜鉛、酸化チタン、クレー、タルク、珪藻土、硫酸バリウム、炭酸カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、酸化カルシウム、マイカ、グラファイト、水酸化アルミニウム、ケイ酸アルミニウム、ハイドロタルサイト、金属粉、ガラス粉、セラミックス粉等の無機充填剤や、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、テトラフルオロエチレン-パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体(PFA)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)等でできた有機系充填剤を含むことができる。これらの有機充填剤は、FFKMの合成段階において含有させたものであってもよい。
ただし、無機充填剤は、その含有量が多くなると、過酷な環境下で飛散する問題が顕在化するおそれがあることから、無機充填剤の量はできるだけ少ないことが好ましく(例えば、架橋性フルオロエラストマー100質量部あたり10質量部以下、好ましくは5質量部以下、より好ましくは2質量部以下、さらに好ましくは1質量部以下)、無機充填剤を配合しないことが望ましい。なお、無機充填剤とは、金属元素(Ba、Ti、Zn、Al、Mg、Ca、Si等)を含有する充填剤をいう。
組成物の製造方法としては、例えば架橋性FFKMと架橋剤とを混練りした後に溶剤と混合する方法、または架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、架橋剤および溶剤を一括して混合する方法等が挙げられる。組成物の製造方法は、分散性の向上の観点から好ましくは架橋性FFKMと架橋剤とを混練りした後に溶剤と混合する方法である。組成物の架橋物は、例えば基材10上に塗布した組成物を高温加圧下で架橋させることにより得ることができる。溶剤は、組成物を塗布した後、架橋させるまでの間に除去されてよく、ゴム被膜は溶剤を含んでいてもよいし、含んでいなくてもよい。
ゴム被膜20の厚みは1μm以上500μm以下である。ゴム被膜20の厚みが1μm以上あることにより、高温下で高い耐ラジカル性を発揮することができる。ゴム被膜20の厚みが上記範囲内であることにより、基剤がメタルシールである場合にフランジ面を損傷させることなく、低い潰し圧であっても密閉性が良好となる。ゴム被膜20の厚みは、基材がメタルシールの場合、フランジ面の損傷、潰し圧および密閉性の観点から10μm以上200μm以下が好ましく、より好ましくは10μm以上100μm以下、さらに好ましくは20μm以上80μm以下である。また、基材がエラストマーシールの場合、ゴム被膜20の厚みは、耐ラジカル性、皮膜の耐久性の観点から好ましくは10μm以上200μm以下、より好ましくは10μm以上100μm以下、さらに好ましくは10μm以上50μm以下、特に好ましくは50μm未満である。
<環状積層体の製造方法>
本発明の別の一実施態様に係る環状積層体の製造方法は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、上記架橋剤および溶剤を含む組成物を基材上に塗布する塗布工程、および前記組成物を架橋させる架橋工程を含む。組成物についての説明は、上述の環状積層体において説明が適用される。
本発明の別の一実施態様に係る環状積層体の製造方法は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、上記架橋剤および溶剤を含む組成物を基材上に塗布する塗布工程、および前記組成物を架橋させる架橋工程を含む。組成物についての説明は、上述の環状積層体において説明が適用される。
塗布工程において、組成物を基材上に塗布する方法としては、従来から公知の方法を用いてよく、例えばスプレー噴霧、ローラー塗布、スピンコート、ダイコーター、ドクターブレード塗布、ディッピング等が挙げられる。中でも、均一な塗膜形成性および生産効率性の観点からスプレー噴霧およびディッピングが好ましい。また、組成物は繰り返し塗布することができる。例えば組成物を基材上に塗布し、塗膜を乾燥させた後、乾燥塗膜上にさらに組成物を塗布することができる。
組成物を基材上に塗布する前に、基材の表面に電解処理、コロナ処理、プラズマ処理等の表面処理を行うことにより、組成物と基材との密着性を高め易くすることができる。
組成物を基材に塗布した後、組成物を架橋する前に乾燥処理を施すことができる。
架橋工程において、基材上に塗布した組成物を高温加圧下で架橋させることによりゴム被膜を基材上に形成することができる。架橋温度は、通常150℃以上300℃以下であってよい。ゴム被膜の耐熱性を高めるために、例えば150℃以上320℃以下の温度で二次架橋を行ってもよい。電離性放射線の照射によって二次架橋を行ってもよい。電離性放射線としては、電子線やγ線を好ましく用いることができる。
<組成物>
本発明の他の一実施態様に係る組成物は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、上記一般式(1)で表わされるビス(アミノフェノール)化合物、上記一般式(2)で表わされるビス(アミノチオフェノール)化合物、および上記一般式(3)で表わされるテトラアミン化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む架橋剤および溶剤を含む。組成物を架橋させることにより、薄膜(例えば500μm以下、好ましくは200μm以下、さらに好ましくは100μm以下、より好ましくは80μm以下、特に好ましくは50μm以下、より特に好ましくは50μm未満、例えば1μm以上、好ましくは10μm以上、より好ましくは20μm以上)であるにもかかわらず、耐ラジカル性に優れたゴム被膜を形成することができる。架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、架橋剤および溶剤並びに任意の添加剤の種類および好ましい範囲は、上述の環状積層体において述べた種類および好ましい範囲が適用される。
本発明の他の一実施態様に係る組成物は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、上記一般式(1)で表わされるビス(アミノフェノール)化合物、上記一般式(2)で表わされるビス(アミノチオフェノール)化合物、および上記一般式(3)で表わされるテトラアミン化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む架橋剤および溶剤を含む。組成物を架橋させることにより、薄膜(例えば500μm以下、好ましくは200μm以下、さらに好ましくは100μm以下、より好ましくは80μm以下、特に好ましくは50μm以下、より特に好ましくは50μm未満、例えば1μm以上、好ましくは10μm以上、より好ましくは20μm以上)であるにもかかわらず、耐ラジカル性に優れたゴム被膜を形成することができる。架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、架橋剤および溶剤並びに任意の添加剤の種類および好ましい範囲は、上述の環状積層体において述べた種類および好ましい範囲が適用される。
以下、実施例により本発明をさらに詳細に説明する。例中の「%」および「部」は、特記のない限り、質量%および質量部である。
<実施例1、比較例1~2>
表1に示す成分および配合比にて組成物を調製した。その後、組成物を基材(メタルシール、外径:158.6mm、内径151mm、径:3.8mm)上にスプレー噴霧し、280℃で架橋させた後、厚み40μmのゴム被膜を形成し、実施例1の環状積層体を得た。得られた環状積層体の密閉性およびフランジ面の損傷を以下の方法に従って評価した。
[密閉性]
圧縮ガス用配管に設置されたフランジ部に環状積層体を表1に示す潰し率および荷重にて締結した。圧縮ガス用配管にRT(室温)、流量10ml/minのヘリウムガスを供給し、3時間後のシール材から漏洩するヘリウム量をHeリークディテクターにより測定した。結果を表1に示す。
[フランジ面の損傷]
上記漏れ量の測定後、フランジ部を解除し、フランジ面に損傷がないか目視により確認した。
表1に示す成分および配合比にて組成物を調製した。その後、組成物を基材(メタルシール、外径:158.6mm、内径151mm、径:3.8mm)上にスプレー噴霧し、280℃で架橋させた後、厚み40μmのゴム被膜を形成し、実施例1の環状積層体を得た。得られた環状積層体の密閉性およびフランジ面の損傷を以下の方法に従って評価した。
[密閉性]
圧縮ガス用配管に設置されたフランジ部に環状積層体を表1に示す潰し率および荷重にて締結した。圧縮ガス用配管にRT(室温)、流量10ml/minのヘリウムガスを供給し、3時間後のシール材から漏洩するヘリウム量をHeリークディテクターにより測定した。結果を表1に示す。
[フランジ面の損傷]
上記漏れ量の測定後、フランジ部を解除し、フランジ面に損傷がないか目視により確認した。
<実施例2および3>
表1に示す基材の種類およびゴム被膜の厚みとしたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして実施例2および3の環状積層体を作製し、評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。

<比較例1および2>

FFKM A:スリーエム社製のテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)-パーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)系共重合体「PFE131TZ」
BOAP:2,2-ビス(3-アミノ-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)ヘキサフルオロプロパン
溶剤:スリーエム社製のフッ素溶媒「フロリナートPF5060」
バネ入りメタルCリング:株式会社バルカー製トライパック「No.3645-ZAA7B」
FKM Oリング A:サイズAS568-229
実施例1~3の環状積層体は低い潰し率でも漏れ量が少なかった。一方、比較例1は、圧縮荷重は低いが漏れ量が多かった。比較例2はヘリウムがリークし、密閉性が得られなかっただけでなく、フランジ面の損傷が確認された。
<実施例4および5、比較例3および4>
表2に示す成分および配合比にて組成物を調製した。その後、組成物を基材(FKM Oリング B、外径:32.05mm、内径24.99mm、厚み:3.53mm)を溶剤に5回Dippingし、乾燥させ、280℃で架橋させた後、表2に示す厚みのゴム被膜を形成し、実施例4および5、比較例3および4の環状積層体を得た。得られた環状積層体の高温下での耐ラジカル性を以下の方法に従って評価した。
表2に示す成分および配合比にて組成物を調製した。その後、組成物を基材(FKM Oリング B、外径:32.05mm、内径24.99mm、厚み:3.53mm)を溶剤に5回Dippingし、乾燥させ、280℃で架橋させた後、表2に示す厚みのゴム被膜を形成し、実施例4および5、比較例3および4の環状積層体を得た。得られた環状積層体の高温下での耐ラジカル性を以下の方法に従って評価した。
[耐フッ素ラジカル性の評価]
下記の条件下にシール材を、NF3のリモートプラズマによって発生させたフッ素ラジカルに暴露させるフッ素ラジカル暴露試験を行い、試験後のシール材の外観を目視観察した。
(フッ素ラジカル暴露試験の条件)
・プラズマソース(プラズマ源):リモートプラズマソース、
・プラズマ出力:5000W、
・ガス流量:NF3 1slm、アルゴン 1slm、
・真空度:5torr、
・試験温度:200℃、
・試験時間:3時間。
(評価基準)
〇:表面の溶融は確認されなかった。
×:表面の溶融が確認された。
下記の条件下にシール材を、NF3のリモートプラズマによって発生させたフッ素ラジカルに暴露させるフッ素ラジカル暴露試験を行い、試験後のシール材の外観を目視観察した。
(フッ素ラジカル暴露試験の条件)
・プラズマソース(プラズマ源):リモートプラズマソース、
・プラズマ出力:5000W、
・ガス流量:NF3 1slm、アルゴン 1slm、
・真空度:5torr、
・試験温度:200℃、
・試験時間:3時間。
(評価基準)
〇:表面の溶融は確認されなかった。
×:表面の溶融が確認された。

実施例4および5の環状積層体は、高温下での耐ラジカル性が良好であった。一方、比較例3および4では、高温下での耐ラジカル性が十分ではなかった。

Claims (9)
- 基材と、前記基材に接して積層されるゴム被膜とを含み、
前記ゴム被膜は、架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、架橋剤および溶剤を含む組成物の架橋物を含み、
前記ゴム被膜の厚みは1μm以上500μm以下であり、
前記架橋剤は、下記一般式(1):
で表わされるビス(アミノフェノール)化合物、下記一般式(2):
で表わされるビス(アミノチオフェノール)、および下記一般式(3):
で表わされるテトラアミン化合物〔式(1)~(3)において、Aは、SO2、O、C=O、炭素数1~6のアルキレン基、炭素数1~10のパーフルオロアルキレン基、または2つのベンゼン環を直接結合させる炭素-炭素結合である。式(1)および(2)において、同一のベンゼン環上にあるNH2基とOH基またはSH基とは互いに隣接しており、かつNH2基、およびOH基またはSH基は基Aに対してメタ位またはパラ位にある。〕からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、環状積層体。 - 前記基材は、メタルシールである、請求項1に記載の環状積層体。
- 前記基材は、エラストマーシールである、請求項1に記載の環状積層体。
- 前記ゴム被膜の厚みは、10μm以上200μm以下である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の環状積層体。
- 前記架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)は、ニトリル基含有パーフルオロビニルエーテル由来の構成単位を含有する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の環状積層体。
- 請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の環状積層体を含む、シール材。
- 請求項1に記載の環状積層体の製造方法であって、
架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、架橋剤および溶剤を含む組成物を基材上に塗布する塗布工程、および
前記組成物を架橋させる架橋工程
を含む、環状積層体の製造方法。 - 前記塗布工程において、前記組成物をスプレー噴霧またはディッピングにより前記基材上に塗布する、請求項7に記載の環状積層体の製造方法。
- 架橋性パーフルオロエラストマー(FFKM)、架橋剤および溶剤を含み、前記架橋剤は、下記一般式(1):
で表わされるビス(アミノフェノール)化合物、下記一般式(2):
で表わされるビス(アミノチオフェノール)、および下記一般式(3):
で表わされるテトラアミン化合物〔式(1)~(3)において、Aは、SO2、O、C=O、炭素数1~6のアルキレン基、炭素数1~10のパーフルオロアルキレン基、または2つのベンゼン環を直接結合させる炭素-炭素結合である。式(1)および(2)において、同一のベンゼン環上にあるNH2基とOH基またはSH基とは互いに隣接しており、かつNH2基、およびOH基またはSH基は基Aに対してメタ位またはパラ位にある。〕からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、組成物。
