Definitions
- the present invention relates to a metallic contact component of an electrical plug connection according to the preamble of claim 1 and an electrical connection terminal.
- Contact components for the aforementioned application are known in a wide variety of designs, for example from DE 20 2015 106 472 U1 or DE 201 17 770 U1. These contact components usually include a busbar and a contact tulip attached to it in a resilient manner, which can be connected to one another to form a one-piece component.
- the usual connection technology for achieving a one-piece design is a welded connection. In most cases, however, these are not mentioned in simplified technical drawings.
- SLM manufacturing technologies for the additive manufacturing of one-piece seamless components are known per se. Since the construction of the first industrial production facility in 1995, the number of applications has increased. However, the use of powder-manufactured SLM components is limited because the components have a certain porosity. On the one hand, this has an influence on the mechanical stability of the components and, on the other hand, on the conductivity. In addition, the adjustment of suitable ductility and elastic deformability with simultaneous material strength of an SLM-manufactured component was a major problem for a long time, which posed major problems for the manufacture of SLM-manufactured clamping and spring elements, in which both properties are required.
- a metallic contact component having the features of claim 1. Also according to the invention is an electrical connection terminal comprising the aforementioned contact component.
- a metallic contact component according to the invention of an electrical plug connection comprises at least one busbar and a contact tulip, which is arranged resiliently on the busbar.
- the contact component can be a socket contact of an electrical connection terminal for receiving a contact pin as a plug-in partner.
- the busbar and the contact tulip each have a contact surface for making contact with a plug-in partner.
- the contact surfaces face each other.
- the contact component is manufactured additively.
- the material has an increased resistance due to the lower specific density than a conventional solid material, it has been shown that the conductivity is still sufficient for the intended use. At the same time, the density is the same throughout the material and is therefore not selective and undefined.
- the metallic contact component is advantageously configured monolithically and/or without seams, in particular without weld seams.
- the conductor rail can have pores in particular in a cross section along its longitudinal axis.
- the mean specific density of the contact component can be less than 98%, for example, preferably between 93-97%.
- further variants of a contact component are possible within the scope of the invention, which has an average specific density of greater than or equal to 98%.
- the metallic contact component can also advantageously have areas with different mean surface roughnesses. In this way, better pluggability can be made possible at one point and the movement of a jammed or rusted element can be inhibited at another point.
- the contact surfaces can be designed as smoothed areas, in particular with a roughness of less than 20% compared to the roughness of neighboring areas. This means that the roughness of the adjacent areas can be at least 5 times greater than that of the contact surfaces.
- the metallic contact component can preferably have a copper-chromium-zirconium compound or preferably consist of it. This material enables an optimal compromise between conductivity, material strength and at the same time elastic deformability of the metal to obtain a spring effect without the metal breaking or plastic deformation.
- the copper-chromium-zirconium compound has more than 50% by weight, preferably more than 60% by weight, preferably more than 65% by weight, of copper.
- the remaining surface of the busbar can have a greater average surface roughness than in the area of the contact surfaces.
- the surface roughness can vary greatly, so it is advisable to average the measured values, eg over a range of 1 cm 2 .
- the busbar can have slits in the transition between the contact tulip and the busbar to reduce the notch effect.
- the conductor rail can advantageously be in the form of a pin, preferably as a polygonal pin, particularly preferably as a square pin, in particular with a square Cross section, be formed. This provides flat surfaces for supporting contact elements, such as contact pins or electrical conductors, which enables better contacting and positioning of the clamping elements.
- busbar As an alternative to the illustrated linear shape of the busbar, however, other shapes are also possible for the busbar, in particular a concave shape on which the conductor rests.
- the busbar can advantageously be made thicker than the contact tulip, at least in the transition to the contact tulip or in an area adjoining it, so that the busbar represents a mechanically more rigid segment compared to the contact tulip.
- the busbar can have a larger central cross section in the longitudinal direction than the contact tulip in its course. This makes the contact tulip more flexible.
- the busbar can also have a projection as a stop for a clamping spring.
- the minimum diameter of the busbar is at least 0.85 mm, preferably at least 0.9 mm, particularly preferably at least 1 mm.
- the metallic contact component can be designed to hold a contact pin in a clamped manner.
- the metallic contact component can be designed to hold a contact pin in a latching manner.
- an electrical connection terminal comprising a metallic contact component according to the invention and a clamping spring for holding an electrical conductor in connection with the contact component.
- FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the contact component with a clamping spring for clamping a conductor
- FIG. 3 is a perspective view of an assembly of the contact assembly with a clamp spring and retained conductor and contact pin;
- Figure 4 is a side view of the arrangement of Figure 3.
- FIG. 5 shows a sectional view through the contact component according to the invention.
- FIG. 1 a and b show an embodiment variant of a metallic contact component 1 according to the invention. It has a busbar 2 .
- the conductor rail 2 is designed as a square pin.
- busbar can also be provided as a round pin with one or more planar contact surfaces. Concave shapes are also possible for the busbar.
- the mean diameter of the conductor rail 2 averaged over its entire length and averaged over the cross section can be at least 0.85 cm.
- the ends 4 and 5 of the busbar 2 are bent.
- the contact component 1 has a contact tulip 3 . It is integrally connected to the busbar. In particular, the connection is seamless due to the use of an additive manufacturing process for manufacturing the component according to the invention.
- the contact tulip 3 protrudes perpendicularly from the busbar 2 and then has a U-shape, the end 6 of the contact tulip 3 being brought back up to the busbar.
- the end 6 of the contact tulip 3 is also bent and ends at the same height as the end 5 of the busbar 2.
- the bent ends 5 and 6 define an insertion direction S for a contact pin 30.
- the ends 5 and 6 of the busbar 2 and the contact tulip 3 each have contact surfaces 7 and 8, which face one another. The distance between the contact surfaces 7 and 8 can be varied by applying force.
- the contact tulip 3 is thus arranged in a resilient manner in relation to the busbar 2 .
- the contact tulip 3 has a lower average thickness DK at the base 9 of the busbar 2 than the thickness Ds of the power rail 2 beyond the base.
- the thickness ÜKOr Ds is the extension of the contact tulip and the busbar perpendicular to the direction of insertion S.
- the thickness DK of the contact tulip 3 at the shoulder 9 is preferably at least 15%, preferably between 20-60%, particularly preferably 21-40% of the thickness Ds power rail 2.
- the thickness Ds of the busbar is equivalent to the so-called minimum diameter, which, specifically for the design of the busbar 2 as a square pin, corresponds to the length of the shortest side of the cross section of the square pin through its longitudinal axis.
- minimum diameter refers to the smallest distance between two points along the cross section through the longitudinal axis of the busbar 2.
- the aforementioned cross section and the minimum diameter refer to an area outside of this point or points, i.e. to the cross section which is predominantly the same along the longitudinal axis of the busbar 2 (apart from of any fluctuations due to varying surface roughness).
- the thickness D of the contact tulip 3 increases from the approach 9 to the end 4 .
- the widening at the end 4 can preferably be at least 50%, preferably 70-220%, compared to the thickness D at the base 9.
- the extension of the contact component 1 perpendicular to the insertion direction S formed by the shape of the bend in the tulip contact 3 is at least 15%, preferably between 20-60%, of the length of the power strip.
- the busbar has a projection 13 along its end 4 remote from the end 6 of the contact tulip 3 to reinforce clamping of an electrical conductor on the busbar.
- the contact component is preferably manufactured additively and consists of a copper-chromium-zirconium compound.
- the compound can be designed as an alloy with a chromium content of preferably less than 3% by weight, particularly preferably between 0.6-1.5% by weight and with a zirconium content of less than 0.8% by weight, particularly preferably between 0.1 -0.0.75% by weight in the alloy.
- the oxygen content of the copper-chromium-zirconium compound can preferably be more than 4% by weight, in particular 4.5-8% by weight
- the carbon content of the copper-chromium-zirconium compound can be more than 12% by weight, preferably 17-28% by weight.
- a chlorine compound can be present as a further component in an amount of less than 1% by weight, preferably less than 0.5% by weight.
- FIG. 5 shows a micrograph of the material of the conductor rail 2, which, however, is also the material of the tulip contact 3 in an analogous manner.
- the formation of the material and the formation of a one-piece and seamless transition, in particular one without weld seams, between the conductor rail 2 and the contact tulip 3 is achieved by an additive process, in particular a so-called SLM process.

- the minimum diameter of the conductor rail 1 should be at least 0.85 mm, preferably at least 0.9 mm, particularly preferably at least 1 mm, over more than 90% of its length be in order to compensate for the conductivity through a larger cross-section of the material.
- the busbar has good mechanical stability so that it can be used as a contacting component without further aids for mechanical stabilization.
- a possible housing is therefore only used to protect against contact and no longer has to be used for mechanical stabilization.
- this contact component is preferably suitable for the production of small series with different conductor and contact pin diameters.
- the material is available quickly and customer-specific requirements can be taken into account in the design.
- contact tulip 3 and busbar 2 enable the creation of a component without welding areas. Not only is one work step saved, but there are no process fluctuations as with welding. In addition, there are no electrical losses and no undefined resistances at the weld transitions.
- connection to a circuit board can be variable.
- through-plating is possible.
- a further advantage of an additively manufactured component is the increase in surface roughness, whereby better restraint of the conductor 40 can be achieved when it is pressed against the busbar. Projections on the busbar can also be formed on the opposite side without affecting the material.
- Usual mean roughnesses of the additively manufactured contact component 1 outside the post-processed areas can be more than 10 ⁇ m, preferably more than 30 ⁇ m.

Description
Fig. 1a, b jeweils eine Perspektivansicht auf ein erfindungsgemäßes metallisches Kontaktbauteil;
Fig. 2 eine Perspektivansicht des Kontaktbauteils mit einer Klemmfeder zur klemmenden Festlegung eines Leiters;
Fig. 3 eine Perspektivansicht einer Anordnung des Kontaktbauteils mit einer Klemmfeder und einem gehaltenen Leiter und einem gehaltenen Kontaktstift;
Fig. 5 eine Schnittansicht durch das erfindungsgemäße Kontaktbauteil.
Fig. 5 zeigt eine Schnittansicht des erfindungsgemäßen Kontaktbauteils.
