Abstract

Description
本発明は、躯体に防水を施すシート防水構造に用いられる防水シート、かかる防水シートの成形に用いられる樹脂組成物、および、かかる樹脂組成物を含むシーリング材に関する。
近年、建築物の高耐久化が求められている。これに伴って、多くの建築物の屋上やベランダ等において、防水シート(樹脂シート)を敷設施工したシート防水構造が採用されている(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。
このシート防水構造は、例えば、防水シートと複数の固定ディスクとを備える。躯体の少なくとも一部に敷設された防水シートは、固定ディスクを介して、躯体に対して接合(固定)される。このような構成とすることで、躯体に対する雨水等に対する防水性が確保される。
このような構成のシート防水構造では、防水シートは、例えば、塩化ビニル系樹脂と可塑剤とを含有する。防水シートが、雨水や、日光に曝されることで、経年的に可塑剤が防水シートから漏出する。その結果、防水シートの柔軟性が低下することに起因して、防水シートに亀裂や破断等が生じ、躯体自体に水が浸入してしまうと言う問題、すなわち、シート防水構造の防水性が低下すると言う問題が生じる。
そのため、防水シートの柔軟性の低下、さらには防水シートにおける亀裂や破断等が生じてしまうのを防止することを目的に、経年的な可塑剤の防水シートからの漏出が、的確に抑制または防止された防水シートの開発が求められる。しかしながら、現状のところ、この可塑剤の防水シートからの漏出が十分に抑制されているとは言えないのが実情であった。
本発明の目的は、躯体に防水を施すシート防水構造において、このシート防水構造が備える防水シートからの可塑剤の漏出が的確に抑制または防止された防水シート、かかる防水シートの成形に用いられる樹脂組成物、および、かかる防水シートのシーリングに用いられるシーリング材を提供することにある。
このような目的は、下記(1)~(10)に記載の本発明により達成される。

本発明によれば、防水シートが含有する可塑剤が、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含む。かかる構成により、防水シートが、雨水や、日光に曝されることに起因して、経年的に可塑剤が防水シートから漏出するのを、的確に抑制または防止することができる。そのため、この可塑剤の漏出(ブリードアウト)に基づく、防水シートの柔軟性の低下、ひいては、防水シートにおける亀裂や破断等の発生を、的確に抑制または防止し得る。
以下、本発明の防水シート、樹脂組成物およびシーリング材を添付図面に示す好適実施形態に基づいて詳細に説明する。
まず、本発明の防水シート、樹脂組成物およびシーリング材を説明するのに先立って、本発明の防水シートを適用し得る、躯体に施工されたシート防水構造について説明する。
<シート防水構造>

図1は、躯体に施されたシート防水構造の第1実施形態を部分的に取り出した部分斜視図、図2は、漏出性評価法により防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]を求める際に用いられる貯留槽の縦断面図である。なお、以下の説明では、図1、図2中の上側を「上」、下側を「下」と言う。また、図1では、説明の便宜上、シート防水構造が施された躯体の全体を示すことなく、躯体が備える床部と壁部とを部分的に図示している。また、図1、図2では、それぞれ、シート防水構造および貯留槽を視認性よく図示しているため、実際の寸法とは大きく異なる。
<<第1実施形態>>
図1は、躯体に施されたシート防水構造の第1実施形態を部分的に取り出した部分斜視図、図2は、漏出性評価法により防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]を求める際に用いられる貯留槽の縦断面図である。なお、以下の説明では、図1、図2中の上側を「上」、下側を「下」と言う。また、図1では、説明の便宜上、シート防水構造が施された躯体の全体を示すことなく、躯体が備える床部と壁部とを部分的に図示している。また、図1、図2では、それぞれ、シート防水構造および貯留槽を視認性よく図示しているため、実際の寸法とは大きく異なる。
シート防水構造10は、床部101と、この床部101の外縁を取り囲むように沿って立設して設けられた壁部102(立ち上がり部)とを有する躯体100に対して施工されるように構成されている。シート防水構造10は、床部101と壁部102とに敷設された防水シート30と、配置部材50と、固定ディスク(図示せず)とを有している。
配置部材50は、それぞれ全体形状が長方形状をなす底部51と立ち上がり面52とを有する。配置部材50は、床部101と壁部102との境界部に配置される。さらに、複数の固定ディスクは、所定(一定)の間隔を開けて床部101に固定ビスにより固定されている。この状態で、塩化ビニル系樹脂を主材料として構成される防水シート30は、配置部材50、固定ディスクおよび固定ビスとともに床部101と壁部102とを覆い、かつ、配置部材50および固定ディスクに固定されている。これにより、躯体100の防水性が確保される。
すなわち、日光や雨水には防水シート30が曝されることとなり、躯体100が直接的に日光や雨水に曝されることが防止されるため、躯体100の防水性が確保される。また、固定ディスクの上面と防水シート30との下面とが接合されており、これにより、固定ディスクを介して床部101と防水シート30とが接合されている。その結果、風等に対して防水シート30が引き剥がされることなく躯体100に固定されている。
配置部材50および固定ディスクは、ともに、金属板と、この金属板の表面を被覆する樹脂層とで構成される。
この金属板は、例えば、ステンレス鋼板、鉄板のような鋼板、アルミ板、銅板等で構成されるが、鋼板であるのが好ましい。
また、金属板の厚さは、特に限定されないが、0.1mm以上、3mm以下程度であるのが好ましく、0.3mm以上、2.5mm以下程度であるのがより好ましい。
樹脂層を構成する樹脂としては、例えば、ポリ塩化ビニルのような塩化ビニル系樹脂、ポリオレフィン系樹脂、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体等が挙げられ、これらのうちの1種または2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができるが、塩化ビニル系樹脂(特に、ポリ塩化ビニル)であるのが好ましい。すなわち、樹脂層を構成する樹脂は、後述する防水シート30を構成する樹脂と、同種または同一であることが好ましい。これにより、樹脂層と防水シート30との密着性を向上させることができる。さらに、ポリ塩化ビニルは、溶剤溶着性や熱融着性に優れる。このため、前記効果をより顕著に発揮させることができるとともに、金属板の腐食をより確実に防止することができる。
また、この樹脂層を構成する樹脂には、後述する防水シート30の構成材料で挙げる可塑剤、安定化剤等の他の材料が含まれていてもよい。
また、樹脂層の厚さは、特に限定されないが、0.1mm以上であるのが好ましく、0.3mm以上、0.8mm以下であるのがより好ましい。これにより、防水シート30が風で煽られることに起因して、樹脂層に応力が作用したとしても、この樹脂層において亀裂や破断が生じるのを的確に抑制することができる。
防水シート30(第1防水シート)は、シート状(板状)をなし、配置部材50および固定ディスクとともに床部101と壁部102とを覆うように構成されている。
これにより、日光や雨水には防水シート30が曝され、躯体100が直接的に日光や雨水に曝されることが防止されることから、躯体100の防水性が確保される。
このような防水シート30は、塩化ビニル系樹脂と可塑剤とを含有する樹脂シートで構成されている。本実施形態では、この防水シート30に本発明の防水シートが適用されるが、その詳細については、後に説明する。
また、シート防水構造10は、床部101上に敷設されることで、床部101と防水シート30との間に介在する、クロスシートを有していてもよい。
このクロスシートは、例えば、ポリエチレン製の織布からなる絶縁クロスシートで構成される。また、これに代えて、ガラス繊維製の防火用シート、ピンホール検査用のアルミ箔ラミネートシート、珪酸カルシウム板、石綿スレート板、軽量気泡コンクリート板等の高剛性板からなる歩行用ボードを床部101上に敷設してもよいし、さらに、これらを上層として備え、下層として、発泡ポリスチレン、ポリウレタンフォーム、ポリイソシアヌレートフォーム、フェノールフォーム等で構成される断熱層(断熱材)を備える積層体を床部101上に敷設してもよい。これらのシートを、床部101と防水シート30との間に介在させることにより、シート防水構造10のクッション性、絶縁性および断熱性等を確保することができる。
<防水シート>
かかる構成をなすシート防水構造10が備える防水シート30に、前述の通り、本発明の防水シートを適用し得る。

本発明の防水シートは、塩化ビニル系樹脂と可塑剤とを含有し、この可塑剤として、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含むことを特徴とする。このように、防水シートを、可塑剤として、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含む構成とすることで、防水シートが、雨水や、日光に曝されることに起因して、経年的に可塑剤が防水シートから漏出するのを、的確に抑制または防止することができる。そのため、この可塑剤の漏出(ブリードアウト)に基づく、防水シートの柔軟性の低下、ひいては、防水シートにおける亀裂や破断等の発生を、的確に抑制または防止し得る。したがって、本発明の防水シートを防水シート30として備えるシート防水構造10は、優れた防水性を発揮する。
以下、本発明の防水シートを構成する構成材料について説明する。
(a)塩化ビニル系樹脂
塩化ビニル系樹脂は、防水シートを、シート状(層状)とするために、防水シートの主材料として、防水シート中に含まれる。

この塩化ビニル系樹脂としては、塩化ビニルを含む重合体、すなわちオリゴマー、プレポリマーおよびポリマーであれば特に限定されない。
具体的には、このような塩化ビニル系樹脂としては、例えば、塩化ビニルの単量重合体(単独重合体)、または塩化ビニルと、酢酸ビニル、エチレン、もしくはプロピレン等との共重合体が挙げられ、その他、これら単量重合体または共重合体の主鎖に、他の重合体が側鎖として置換されてグラフト化された構成をなすものが挙げられ、これらのうちの1種または2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。なお、単量重合体または共重合体の主鎖が、単量重合体で構成される場合、その主鎖は直鎖状をなすが、共重合体で構成される場合、共重合体がランダム共重合体、交互共重合体またはブロック共重合体からなるときには、その主鎖は直鎖状をなし、また、共重合体がグラフト共重合体からなるときには、その主鎖は分岐状をなしている。
これらを塩化ビニル系樹脂として用いることにより、防水シートを、シート状に成形することができ、防水シートとしての機能を発揮させることができる。
また、後述する可塑剤すなわち(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体が、防水シートから漏出(ブリードアウト)するのを防止すると言う観点からは、塩化ビニル系樹脂は、その全体構造が直鎖状をなしているのが好ましい。このような塩化ビニル系樹脂と(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体との組み合わせとすることで、防水シートからの(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体の漏出を、より的確に抑制または防止することができる。
(b)可塑剤
可塑剤は、防水シートに優れた柔軟性を付与するために含有され、本発明では、この可塑剤として、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含む。

このように、防水シートを、可塑剤として、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含む構成とすることで、防水シートが、雨水や、日光に曝されることに起因して、経年的に可塑剤が防水シートから漏出するのを、的確に抑制または防止することができる。そのため、この可塑剤の漏出(ブリードアウト)に基づく、防水シートの柔軟性の低下、ひいては、防水シートにおける亀裂や破断等の発生を、的確に抑制または防止し得る。したがって、本発明の防水シートを防水シート30として備えるシート防水構造10は、優れた防水性を発揮する。さらに、可塑剤として、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含むことにより、防水シートが、雨風に曝されたとしても、これに起因する防水シートに対する汚れの付着を的確に抑制または防止することができる。
(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルをモノマー主成分とする重合体であり、その単量重合体(単独重合体)、または共重合体を主鎖とし、この主鎖により単独で構成されてもよいし、この主鎖に、他の(官能基を有しない)重合体または官能基や、官能基を有する重合体が側鎖すなわち置換基として置換されてグラフト化された構成をなしてもよい。
なお、本明細書において、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルとは、アクリル酸エステルとメタクリル酸エステルとの双方を含む意味で用いることとする。
(メタ)アクリル酸エステルとしては、特に限定されないが、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸メチル、(メタ)アクリル酸エチル、(メタ)アクリル酸プロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソプロピル、(メタ)アクリル酸n-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸sec-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸tert-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸ペンチル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヘキシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヘプチル、(メタ)アクリル酸オクチル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソオクチル、(メタ)アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ノニル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソノニル、(メタ)アクリル酸デシル、(メタ)アクリル酸イソデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ウンデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ドデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸トリデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸テトラデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ペンタデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヘキサデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ヘプタデシル、(メタ)アクリル酸オクタデシルのような(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル、(メタ)アクリル酸シクロヘキシルのような(メタ)アクリル酸シクロアルキルエステル、(メタ)アクリル酸フェニルのような(メタ)アクリル酸アリールエステル等が挙げられ、これらのうちの1種または2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。これらの中でも、(メタ)アクリル酸メチル、(メタ)アクリル酸エチル、(メタ)アクリル酸n-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル、(メタ)アクリル酸オクチルのような(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルであることが好ましい。(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルは、特に、耐熱性に優れ、また、比較的容易かつ安価に入手できる。また、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルとして(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルが用いられた(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体とすることで、可塑剤としての(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体の防水シートからの漏出をより的確に抑制または防止することができる。
また、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体が、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルをモノマー主成分とする共重合体を主鎖として構成される場合、この共重合体としては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルと、(メタ)アクリル酸、アクリロニトリル、酢酸ビニル、エチレン、もしくはプロピレン等との共重合体が挙げられる。
以上のような構成とし得る(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体は、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルをモノマー成分とする単量重合体が、前記置換基により置換されていない、無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体であることが好ましい。これにより、可塑剤としての(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体(無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体)の防水シートからの漏出をさらに的確に抑制または防止することができる。
また、無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体は、その重量平均分子量が1,000以上5,000以下であるのが好ましく、2,000以上3,500以下であるのがより好ましい。
さらに、無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体は、そのガラス転移点Tgが-100℃以上-30℃以下であるのが好ましく、-95℃以上-75℃以下であるのがより好ましい。
無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体の重量平均分子量およびガラス転移点Tgを、それぞれ、前記範囲内に設定することにより、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体(可塑剤)として、無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体を用いることにより得られる効果を、より顕著に発揮させることができる。
また、防水シート中における(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体の含有率は、特に限定されないが、例えば、塩化ビニル系樹脂100.0重量部に対して、20.0重量部以上90.0重量部以下であることが好ましく、50.0重量部以上75.0重量部以下であることがより好ましい。これにより、防水シートに優れた柔軟性を確実に付与することができ、かつ、躯体100への水の浸入を防止する防水シートとしての機能を確実に発揮させることができる。また、主材料である塩化ビニル系樹脂により、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を保持して、防水シートからの可塑剤としての(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体の漏出をより的確に抑制または防止することができる。
以上のことから、塩化ビニル系樹脂と、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体(可塑剤)との好ましい組み合わせとしては、全体構造が直鎖状をなす塩化ビニル系樹脂と、無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体との組み合わせが挙げられる。かかる組み合わせとすることで、防水シートからの(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体(無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体)の漏出を、さらに的確に抑制または防止することができる。
また、可塑剤としては、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を必須成分として、他の可塑剤が含まれていてもよい。その他の可塑剤の具体例としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、DINP(フタル酸ジイソノニル)、DOP(ジオクチルフタレート)、DIBP(ジイソブチルフタレート)、DHP(ジヘプチルフタレート)のようなフタル酸エステル系可塑剤、DOA(ジ-2-エチルヘキシルアジペート)、DIDA(ジイソデシルアジペート)、DOS(ジ-2-エチルヘキシルセバセート)のような脂肪族二塩基酸エステル系可塑剤、エチレングリコールのベンゾエート類のような芳香族カルボン酸エステル系可塑剤、およびTOTM(トリオクチルトリメリテート)のようなトリメリット酸エステル系可塑剤等の低分子系の可塑剤や、ポリ(エチレングリコール/アジピン酸)エステル、ポリ(1,3ブタンジオール/アジピン酸)エステル、ポリ(プロピレングリコール/セバシン酸)エステルのようなポリエステル系可塑剤等の高分子系の可塑剤が挙げられ、これらのうちの1種または2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。なお、可塑剤として、低分子系の可塑剤が含まれることで、防水シートの表面に対して汚れが付着するのを、的確に抑制または防止することができる。
以上のように、防水シートを、可塑剤として、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含む構成とすることで、経年的に可塑剤が防水シートから漏出するのを、的確に抑制または防止することができる。なお、防水シートからの可塑剤((メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体)の漏出に基づいて算出される、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]は、例えば、以下のような評価方法を用いて求めることができる。そして、その残存率[%]を、可塑剤として、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体が含まれることで、以下に示す下限値以上に設定することができる。
すなわち、ブチルゴムテープに対する可塑剤の移行性を評価する移行性評価法では、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]は、まず、厚さ2.0mm×幅30mm×長さ100mmの大きさの防水シートからなる試験片を作製し、JIS A 6008に準拠した引張試験に基づいて、この試験片の伸び率[%]を、初期の伸び率[%]として測定する。次いで、この試験片の一方の面に厚さ2.0mm×幅35mm×長さ110mmの大きさのブチルゴムからなるブチルゴムテープを貼付する。その後、このブチルゴムテープおよび試験片を、80℃のオーブン内に28日間保管した後に、試験片からブチルゴムテープを剥離させる。その後、JIS A 6008に準拠した引張試験に基づいて、ブチルゴムテープが剥離された試験片の伸び率[%]を、保管後の伸び率[%]として測定する。そして、初期の伸び率を100.0%としたときに算出される、保管後の伸び率[%]を、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]として求める。
以上のようにして求められる、移行性評価法における、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]は、80.0%以上であることが好ましく、90.0%以上であることがより好ましい。防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]が前記下限値以上に設定されることにより、防水シートからの(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体(可塑剤)の漏出が的確に抑制されていると言うことができる。
また、メタルハライドランプの照射による可塑剤の揮発性を評価する揮発性評価法(耐候性評価法)では、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]は、まず、厚さ2.0mm×幅50mm×長さ100mmの大きさの防水シートからなる試験片を作製し、JIS A 6008に準拠した引張試験に基づいて、この試験片の伸び率[%]を、初期の伸び率[%]として測定する。次いで、試験片をブラックパネル上に載置した後に、この試験片に対して、メタルハライドランプを、照射強度:81mW/cm2、スプレーサイクル:120分中2分、ブラックパネル温度:80℃、照射時間1800時間の条件で照射する。その後、JIS A 6008に準拠した引張試験に基づいて、メタルハライドランプ照射後の試験片の伸び率[%]を、照射後の伸び率[%]として測定する。そして、初期の伸び率を100.0%としたときに算出される、照射後の伸び率[%]を、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]として求める。
以上のようにして求められる、揮発性評価法における、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]は、80.0%以上であることが好ましく、90.0%以上であることがより好ましい。防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]が前記下限値以上に設定されることにより、防水シートからの(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体(可塑剤)の漏出が的確に抑制されていると言うことができる。
さらに、泥体積状態での乾湿繰り返しによる可塑剤の漏出性を評価する漏出性評価法では、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]は、図2に示す貯留槽20を用いて求められる。
貯留槽20は、図2に示すように、平板状をなす底板21と、上部開口と下部開口とを備えるカバー部材22と、円環状をなすパッキン23と、クリップ24と、固定用ネジ25とを有している。
底板21は、SUS基板で構成され、縦90mm×横90mmの大きさとされている。カバー部材22は、透明ガラスからなり、全体形状が半球状をなす殻体である。カバー部材22は、上部開口と下部開口とを備え、上部開口の上方に突出して設けられた突出部と、下部開口の側方に突出して設けられた縁部とを有している。下部開口は円形をなし、その直径はΦ60mmの大きさに設定されている。
この底板21上に、厚さ2.0mm×縦90mm×横90mmの大きさに作製した防水シートからなる試験片35を載置する。さらに、この試験片35上に、パッキン23とカバー部材22とを、この順序で載置した状態で、底板21の縁部とカバー部材22の縁部とを、クリップ24で挟持しつつ、このクリップ24を固定用ネジ25でねじ止めする。これにより、底板21の縁部とカバー部材22の縁部とが、クリップ24と固定用ネジ25とで固定される。その結果、この貯留槽20において、カバー部材22と、パッキン23と、試験片35とにより貯留空間26が画成される。そして、この貯留空間26の底面において、試験片35の表面は、Φ60mmの円形状をなして、貯留空間26の内部を臨むように露出している。
すなわち、上部開口を有する貯留空間26を備える貯留槽20において、試験片35の表面(上面)は、貯留空間26の底面(底部)で、Φ60mmの円形状をなして、その一部が露出している。
かかる構成をなす貯留槽20を用いた漏出性評価法では、その使用に先立って、まず、前述の通りの大きさで作製した試験片35の重量[g]を、初期の重量として測定する。次いで、試験片35を貯留槽20に装着し、その後、この貯留槽20の貯留空間26に、15gの泥82(JIS Z 8901の試験用粉体1(11種タイプ))と、25mLの純水81とが添加された状態とする。その後に、この状態の貯留槽20を80℃のオーブン内に84日間保管する。このとき、25mLの純水81の添加を朝・夕(1日2回)の12時間毎に実施することで、乾湿繰り返しの条件下に試験片35を曝すこととする。その後、貯留槽20から試験片35を取り出し、洗浄・乾燥した後の試験片35の重量[g]を、乾湿繰り返し後の重量として測定する。そして、初期の重量を100.0%としたときに算出される、乾湿繰り返し後の重量[%]を、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]として求める。
以上のようにして求められる、漏出性評価法における、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]は、93.0%以上であることが好ましく、96.0%以上であることがより好ましい。防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]が前記下限値以上に設定されることにより、防水シートからの(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体(可塑剤)の漏出が的確に抑制されていると言うことができる。
(c)他の構成材料
また、防水シート30には、塩化ビニル系樹脂および可塑剤の他、さらに、安定剤、安定化助剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、加工助剤、滑剤、充填材、難燃剤、遮蔽材および色材等の他の構成材料を含んでいてもよい。

なお、難燃剤としては、有機系難燃剤および無機系難燃剤が挙げられる。有機系難燃剤としては、例えば、ハロゲン系難燃剤、リン系難燃剤、シリコーン系難燃剤、窒素系難燃剤を用いることができる。また、無機系難燃剤としては、金属水酸化物系難燃剤、スズ酸亜鉛、ホウ酸亜鉛、シリカ、アンチモン系難燃剤を用いることができる。ハロゲン系難燃剤としては、例えば、テトラヒドロビスフェノールA(TBBPA)などの臭素化合物や塩素化パラフィンなどの塩素化合物、フッ素樹脂である四フッ化エチレン樹脂(PTFE)などが挙げられる。リン系難燃剤としては、例えば、赤燐やリン酸トリクレジル(TCP)、リン酸クレジルジフェニル(CDP)、リン酸トリス(クロロプロピル)(TMCPP)などが挙げられる。シリコーン系難燃剤としては、例えば、メチルフェニルシリコーン樹脂などが挙げられる。窒素系難燃剤としては、メラミンシアヌレートなどが挙げられる。金属水酸化物系難燃剤としては、例えば、水酸化マグネシウムや水酸化アルミニウムなどが挙げられる。アンチモン系難燃剤としては、例えば、三酸化アンチモン、四酸化アンチモン、五酸化アンチモン、アンチモン酸ナトリウム、リン酸アンチモンなどが挙げられ、三酸化アンチモンが好ましく用いられる。
また、防水シート中における難燃剤の含有率は、特に限定されないが、例えば、塩化ビニル系樹脂100.0重量部に対して、0.1重量部以上20.0重量部以下であることが好ましく、0.5重量部以上10.0重量部以下であることがより好ましい。これにより、防水シートに優れた難燃性を確実に付与することができる。
なお、安定剤としては、例えば、有機スズ系安定剤、有機シリコーン系安定剤、ブチルステアレート等のエステル系安定剤、カルシウム-亜鉛系安定剤、バリウム-亜鉛系安定剤、バリウム-カドミウム系安定剤等が挙げられる。この場合の安定助剤としては、例えば、エポキシ化大豆油、エポキシ化アマニ油、エポキシ化ポリブタジエン、リン酸トリクレジル(TCP)、リン酸トリキシリル(TXP)、リン酸トリブチル(TBP)、リン酸トリ-2-エチルヘキシル、リン酸2-エチルヘキシル・ジフェニルのような有機リン酸エステル等が挙げられる。
なお、防水シートは、上述した構成材料で構成される樹脂シートの単層で構成される他、例えば、その厚さ方向の途中に繊維層が介挿された構成、すなわち、厚さ方向に積層された第1樹脂層と第2樹脂層との間に繊維層(繊維シート)が挾持された積層体で構成されてもよい。このような防水シートは、単層または積層体で構成される場合のいずれであっても、上記の構成材料で構成される樹脂シートの層が最外層として位置することとなる。
この繊維層は、繊維の集合体で構成され、例えば、織布や不織布等のクロス、縦糸と横糸とで複数の格子を形成したネット等の繊維シートが挙げられる。防水シートを、このような繊維層を備える構成とすることで、防水シートの強度(引き裂き強度や引っ張り強度等)および耐久性(耐繰り返し疲労特性)を向上させることができる。
また、防水シートの厚さは、特に限定されないが、例えば、0.5mm以上、3mm以下程度であるのが好ましく、0.8mm以上、3mm以下程度であるのがより好ましい。これにより、防水シートを防水シート30に適用した際に、床部101と壁部102とを、防水シート30により確実に覆うことができる。また、たとえ防水シート30から可塑剤が不本意に漏出して、その柔軟性が低下したとしても、早期に防水シート30に亀裂や破断が生じるのを的確に抑制することができる。
さらに、防水シートは、例えば、以下のようにして成形し得る。すなわち、まず、塩化ビニル系樹脂と、可塑剤と、必要に応じて、その他の構成材料とを、ミキサーを用いて均一に混合することで、粉体で構成された樹脂組成物(本発明の樹脂組成物)を得る。その後、この樹脂組成物を、加熱・混練した後に、ロールを用いてシート状に形成することで、加熱状態のシート体を成形する。そして、このシート体を、さらに熱プレスした後に冷却することで、防水シートを成形することができる。なお、粉体で構成された樹脂組成物を、ペレット状に成形し、このペレット状とされた樹脂組成物を用いて、シート状をなす防水シートを成形するようにしてもよい。

図3は、躯体に施されたシート防水構造の第2実施形態を部分的に取り出した部分斜視図である。なお、以下の説明では、図3中の上側を「上」、下側を「下」と言う。また、図3では、説明の便宜上、シート防水構造が施された躯体の全体を示すことなく、躯体が備える床部と壁部とを部分的に図示している。また、図3では、シート防水構造を視認性よく図示しているため、実際の寸法とは大きく異なる。
以下、この図を参照してシート防水構造10の第2実施形態について説明するが、前述した実施形態との相違点を中心に説明し、同様の事項はその説明を省略する。
本実施形態のシート防水構造10は、さらに、防水シート30(第1防水シート)を部分的に被覆する防水シート70(第2防水シート)を備えること以外は、前記第1実施形態のシート防水構造10と同様である。
すなわち、図3に示すように、本実施形態では、シート防水構造10において、防水シート70は、短冊状をなし、床部101と配置部材50の底部51との境界部を被覆する防水シート30に形成された段差31に対応するようにして、防水シート30に貼付されている。
換言すれば、防水シート70は、防水シート30よりも小さく形成された小片をなし、これにより、防水シート30の一部に、選択的に貼付し得るように構成されている。本実施形態では、防水シート70は、防水シート30の段差31を覆うようにして、防水シート30に貼付されている。
防水シート30において、段差31が形成されている領域では、防水シート30に応力が掛かり易いこと、また、防水シート30上に雨水が流れる際に、砂やホコリが貯留し易いこと等に起因して、防水シート30に亀裂や破断等が生じ易い。
そのため、亀裂や破断等が生じた段差31の領域、もしくは、予め亀裂や破断等が生じると予測される段差31の領域に対して、選択的に防水シート70を貼付することで、躯体100自体に水が浸入するのを的確に抑制または防止することができる。すなわち、防水シート70は、亀裂や破断等が生じた防水シート30を介して、躯体100自体に水が浸入するのを防止する止水シートとして機能する。
かかる構成をなす第2実施形態のシート防水構造10において、シート防水構造10が備える防水シート30および防水シート70の少なくとも一方に、本発明の防水シートを適用することができ、本発明の防水シートが適用された防水シート30、70において、前記第1実施形態で説明したのと同様の効果が得られる。
なお、本実施形態では、防水シート70は、防水シート30の段差31の形状に対応して、全体形状が短冊状をなす場合について説明したが、かかる形状をなす場合に限定されない。例えば、躯体100の床部101と壁部102との入隅部に位置する防水シート30に対して、選択的に防水シート70を貼付する場合には、防水シート70は、前記入隅部の形状に対応した形状に成形されてもよい。
また、本実施形態のシート防水構造10において、防水シート70の端部近傍には、防水シート30に対する防水シート70の密着性の向上を図ることを目的に、防水シート30と防水シート70とを接合するシーリング部(被覆層)が形成されていてもよい。この場合、シーリング部は、例えば、塩化ビニル系樹脂と可塑剤と溶媒とを含む、クリーム状(ペースト状)をなすシーリング材を、シーリング部を設けるべき領域に供給した後に乾燥させることで形成することができる。そして、このシーリング材が、可塑剤として(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含むこと、すなわち、このシーリング材として、本発明のシーリング材を用いることで、シーリング材から形成されるシーリング部において、可塑剤すなわち(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体の漏出が的確に抑制または防止され得る。
このシーリング材に含まれる溶媒としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、n-ヘキサン、トルエン、o-キシレンのような炭化水素系溶媒、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン(MEK)、シクロヘキサノンのようなケトン系溶媒、酢酸エチル、酢酸イソブチルのようなエステル系溶媒、ジエチルエーテル、テトラヒドロフラン(THF)のようなエーテル系溶媒、メタノール、エタノール、1-プロパノールのようなアルコール系溶媒が挙げられ、これらのうちの1種または2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。これらを溶媒として用いることで、シーリング材中において、塩化ビニル系樹脂を溶解させて、シーリング材を、クリーム状(ペースト状)とし得る。
なお、シーリング材を用いて形成されるシーリング部(被覆層)は、防水シート70の端部近傍に限らず、防水シート30の端部近傍に形成されていてもよい。
以上、本発明の防水シート、樹脂組成物およびシーリング材について説明したが、本発明は、これらに限定されない。
例えば、本発明の防水シート、樹脂組成物およびシーリング材において、各構成は、同様の機能を発揮し得る任意の構成と置換することができ、あるいは、任意の構成を付加することができる。

1.原材料の準備

2.防水シートの作製

まず、塩化ビニル系樹脂:100.0重量部、可塑剤1:65.0重量部、安定剤:6.0重量部、安定助剤:3.0重量部、紫外線吸収剤:0.5重量部、遮蔽材:15.0重量部、充填材:20.0重量部、および色材:0.4重量部の混合比率でこれらを、ミキサーを用いて25℃で均一に混合することで樹脂組成物Aを得た。
[実施例1]
まず、塩化ビニル系樹脂:100.0重量部、可塑剤1:65.0重量部、安定剤:6.0重量部、安定助剤:3.0重量部、紫外線吸収剤:0.5重量部、遮蔽材:15.0重量部、充填材:20.0重量部、および色材:0.4重量部の混合比率でこれらを、ミキサーを用いて25℃で均一に混合することで樹脂組成物Aを得た。
次に、樹脂組成物Aを、加熱・混練した後、ロールを用いてシート状に形成することで、加熱状態のシート体を成形した。かかるシート体を冷却することで、実施例1の防水シートを得た。
なお、この実施例1の防水シートの厚さは、2.0mmであった。

各実施例、参考例および比較例の防水シートについて、以下の方法を用いて評価した。

3-1.ブチルゴムテープに対する移行性の評価
まず、厚さ2.0mm×幅30mm×長さ100mmの大きさの各実施例、参考例および比較例の防水シートからなる試験片を作製し、JIS A 6008に準拠した引張試験に基づいて、これら試験片の伸び率[%]を、初期の伸び率[%]として測定した。

次いで、各実施例、参考例および比較例に基づく各試験片の一方の面に厚さ2.0mm×幅35mm×長さ110mmの大きさのブチルゴムからなるブチルゴムテープを貼付した。その後、これらのブチルゴムテープおよび試験片を、80℃のオーブン内に28日間保管した後に、各試験片からブチルゴムテープを剥離させた。
次いで、JIS A 6008に準拠した引張試験に基づいて、ブチルゴムテープが剥離された各試験片の伸び率[%]を、保管後の伸び率[%]として測定した。そして、初期の伸び率を100.0%としたときに算出される、保管後の伸び率[%]を、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]として求め、この得られた防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]を、以下の評価基準に基づいて評価した。
(移行性評価における、可塑剤の残存率の評価)
A:防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率が90.0%以上である。
B:防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率が80.0%以上90.0%未満である。
C:防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率が60.0%以上80.0%未満である。

3-2.メタルハライドランプの照射による揮発性の評価
まず、厚さ2.0mm×幅50mm×長さ100mmの大きさの各実施例、参考例および比較例の防水シートからなる試験片を作製し、JIS A 6008に準拠した引張試験に基づいて、これら試験片の伸び率[%]を、初期の伸び率[%]として測定した。

次いで、JIS A 6008に準拠した引張試験に基づいて、メタルハライドランプ照射後の各試験片の伸び率[%]を、照射後の伸び率[%]として測定した。そして、初期の伸び率を100.0%としたときに算出される、照射後の伸び率[%]を、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]として求め、この得られた防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]を、以下の評価基準に基づいて評価した。

次いで、乾湿繰り返し後の各試験片の重量[g]を、乾湿繰り返し後の重量[g]として測定した。そして、初期の重量を100.0%としたときに算出される、乾湿繰り返し後の重量[%]を、防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]として求め、この得られた防水シートにおける可塑剤の残存率[%]を、以下の評価基準に基づいて評価した。

3-4.屋外暴露による耐汚れ性の評価
まず、厚さ2.0mm×幅60mm×長さ100mmの大きさの各実施例、参考例および比較例の防水シートからなる試験片を作製し、その後、各試験片を、日当たりのよい屋外に配置し、1年6箇月間放置した。

B:防水シートに、若干の汚れが認められるものの、殆ど気にはならない。
C:防水シートの一部に、気になる明らかな汚れが認められる。
D:防水シートのほぼ全面に、気になる明らかな汚れが認められる。
これらの評価の結果を表1に示す。
A:防水シートに、汚れが殆ど認められない。
B:防水シートに、若干の汚れが認められるものの、殆ど気にはならない。
C:防水シートの一部に、気になる明らかな汚れが認められる。
D:防水シートのほぼ全面に、気になる明らかな汚れが認められる。
これらの評価の結果を表1に示す。
3-5.燃焼性の評価
燃焼性の評価は、UL94HB水平燃焼試験の手順にて実施した。具体的には、厚さ2mm×幅13mm×長さ125mmの大きさの各実施例、参考例および比較例の防水シートからなる試験片を作製した。その後、各試験片の長手方向が水平となるように、各試験片の一端(基端)をクランプ部で固定した。これにより、試験片の他端(先端)は自由端となった。なお、金網が試験片の下方に位置するように、別のクランプ部で金網を固定した。その後、バーナ管の中心軸を水平面に対して45°の角度に傾けた状態で、バーナ管の炎を、試験片の自由端に接触(接炎)させた。接炎時間は、30秒とした。
燃焼性の評価は、UL94HB水平燃焼試験の手順にて実施した。具体的には、厚さ2mm×幅13mm×長さ125mmの大きさの各実施例、参考例および比較例の防水シートからなる試験片を作製した。その後、各試験片の長手方向が水平となるように、各試験片の一端(基端)をクランプ部で固定した。これにより、試験片の他端(先端)は自由端となった。なお、金網が試験片の下方に位置するように、別のクランプ部で金網を固定した。その後、バーナ管の中心軸を水平面に対して45°の角度に傾けた状態で、バーナ管の炎を、試験片の自由端に接触(接炎)させた。接炎時間は、30秒とした。
次いで、接炎後の各試験片について、その延焼および消炎の状態を、目視にて観察し、防水シートの燃焼性を、以下の評価基準に基づいて評価した。
(燃焼性の評価基準)
A:試験片の自由端から25mm(第一標線)までで消炎した。
B:第一標線を超え、試験片の自由端から100mm(第二標線)までで消炎した。
C:第二標線を超え、クランプ部まで(基端まで)延焼した。
これらの評価の結果を表1に示す。

表1に示したように、各実施例の防水シートでは、可塑剤として(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含んでおり、防水シートからの可塑剤((メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体)の漏出が抑制されている結果を示した。
これに対して、比較例の防水シートでは、可塑剤として(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含んでおらず、そのため、防水シートからの可塑剤の漏出を防止することができなかった。
本発明によれば、防水シートが含有する可塑剤が、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含む。かかる構成により、防水シートが、雨水や、日光に曝されることに起因して、経年的に可塑剤が防水シートから漏出するのを、的確に抑制または防止することができる。そのため、この可塑剤の漏出(ブリードアウト)に基づく、防水シートの柔軟性の低下、ひいては、防水シートにおける亀裂や破断等の発生を、的確に抑制または防止し得る。したがって、本発明は、産業上の利用可能性を有する。

Claims (11)
- 躯体に防水を施すシート防水構造が備える、塩化ビニル系樹脂と可塑剤とを含有する防水シートであって、
前記可塑剤は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体を含むことを特徴とする防水シート。 - 前記アクリル酸エステル系重合体は、無官能のアクリル酸エステル単量重合体である請求項1に記載の防水シート。
- 無官能の前記アクリル酸エステル単量重合体は、その重量平均分子量が1,000以上5,000以下である請求項2に記載の防水シート。
- 無官能の前記アクリル酸エステル単量重合体は、そのガラス転移点Tgが-100℃以上-30℃以下である請求項2に記載の防水シート。
- 前記可塑剤は、前記塩化ビニル系樹脂100.0重量部に対して、20.0重量部以上90.0重量部以下の含有量で、当該防水シートに含まれる請求項1に記載の防水シート。
- 当該防水シートは、さらに、安定剤を含む請求項1に記載の防水シート。
- 当該防水シートは、さらに、難燃剤を含む請求項1に記載の防水シート。
- 前記シート防水構造は、前記躯体が有する床部および該床部から立設する壁部の少なくとも一部を覆う第1防水シートを備え、
当該防水シートは、前記第1防水シートに適用される請求項1に記載の防水シート。 - 前記シート防水構造は、前記躯体が有する床部および該床部から立設する壁部の少なくとも一部を覆う第1防水シートと、該第1防水シートの一部を覆う第2防水シートとを備え、
当該防水シートは、前記第2防水シートに適用される請求項1に記載の防水シート。 - 請求項1ないし9のいずれか1項に記載の防水シートの成形に用いられる樹脂組成物であって、
前記塩化ビニル系樹脂と、前記可塑剤とを含むことを特徴とする樹脂組成物。 - 請求項1ないし9のいずれか1項に記載の防水シートの端部近傍を選択的に被覆する被覆層を形成するのに用いられるシーリング材であって、
前記塩化ビニル系樹脂と、前記可塑剤と、溶媒とを含むことを特徴とするシーリング材。
