本発明の第1実施形態について図1~図8を参照して説明する。
図1に示すように、本実施形態のバックル1は、プラグ10と、プラグ10が挿入されるソケット20とを備える。プラグ10およびソケット20のそれぞれには、ベルトやテープ等の紐状部材の端部が装着され、ソケット20に対してプラグ10が係合することにより、紐状部材の端部同士が連結される。
まず、プラグ10の構成について図1~図5を参照して説明する。
図1~図5において、プラグ10は、基部11と、基部11に接続された一対の脚部12A,12Bと、を備える。
基部11は、Y方向に沿って配置された2つの棒状部材111,112と、2つの棒状部材111,112をY方向の両端部でそれぞれ連結する一対の側面部113,114とを有する。2つの棒状部材111,112の間には、紐状部材が挿通する隙間が存在しており、少なくとも一方の棒状部材111,112に紐状部材が巻き付けられることで、基部11に紐状部材が装着される。
また、一対の脚部12A,12Bは、プラグ10の中心線C1を軸として、180°回転対称な形状を有する。例えば、図2に示すプラグ10の表裏を裏返した場合、一対の脚部12A,12Bは、符号12A,12Bを入れ替えるのみで同様に図示される。
以下、脚部12A,12Bのそれぞれを単に脚部12と称し、まとめて説明する場合がある。
ここで、脚部12Aの板状部126と、脚部12Bの板状部126とは、Z方向に隙間D1を挟んで互いに部分的に重なるように配置されている(図4参照)。例えば、本実施形態では、脚部12Aの板状部126がプラグ10の表面側に配置され、脚部12Bの板状部126がプラグ10の裏面側に配置されている。隙間D1の寸法は特に限定されず、板状部126が互いに干渉しない程度であればよい。
また、脚部12A,12B間には、各第2延出部124のY方向内向きの移動を許容するためのY方向の隙間が存在する。
例えば、本実施形態では、脚部12Aの係合部131がZ方向に突出し、脚部12Aの係合部132が-Z方向に突出している。また、脚部12Bの係合部131が-Z方向に突出し、脚部12Bの係合部132がZ方向に突出している。
係合部131,132は、-X方向に面する係合面133,134を有しており、係合面133,134は、後述するソケット20の被係合部243に対してX方向に当接可能である。
本実施形態の操作部14は、第2延出部124の板状部126の-X方向端部において、板状部126からZ方向(または-Z方向)に突出するように設けられている。具体的には、脚部12Aの操作部14は、第2延出部124からプラグ10の表面側(すなわちZ方向)に突出しており、脚部12Bの操作部14は、第2延出部124からプラグ10の裏面側(すなわち-Z方向)に突出している。
また、操作部14には、-X方向に向かうほど第2延出部124からの突出高さが高くなるように、Z方向に対して傾斜した傾斜面141が設けられており、この傾斜面141は、X方向に面している。
特に、本実施形態において、操作部14は、X方向およびZ方向に平行な仮想面CBを中心として対称な形状を有しており、プラグ10とソケット20とが結合していないとき、この仮想面CBは、プラグ10の中心線C1に重なるように配置される(図2参照)。
連結部15は、基部11の棒状部材111との間に隙間を挟みつつ、一対の側面部113,114間に接続されている。
一対の補助脚部16A,16Bは、連結部15のX方向側の側面に接続されている。また、一対の補助脚部16A,16Bは、それぞれ、一対の脚部12A,12BよりもY方向内側に配置されており、連結部15からX方向に延出した形状を有する。具体的には、補助脚部16Aは、脚部12Aにおける第1延出部121と第2延出部124との間に形成された隙間に配置され、補助脚部16Bは、脚部12Bにおける第1延出部121と第2延出部124との間に形成された隙間に配置されている。
また、プラグ10およびソケット20の結合状態において、補助脚部16A,16Bは、ソケット20の内面に当接することで、バックル1の剛性を高める機能も有する(図8参照)。
なお、本実施形態のプラグ10は、一般的なサイドリリースバックルのプラグとは異なり、Y方向中央に配置されるガイド片を有さない。
操作部14に対して-X方向の力F1を加えた場合、または、第1延出部121に対してY方向内側の力F2を加えた場合、第1延出部121がY方向内側に弾性変形することで、係合部131,132は、Y方向内側に移動する。これにより、係合部131,132の各位置は、ソケット20の被係合部243に対する係合位置から係合解除位置に変化する。
なお、第1延出部121が弾性変形する際、第2延出部124は回動するため、操作部14の対称中心となる仮想面CBは、プラグ10の中心線C1に重なった状態から、プラグ10の中心線C1に対して傾斜した状態になる。
次に、ソケット20の構成について、図1、図6~図8を参照して説明する。
ソケット20は、前述したプラグ10の一対の脚部12A,12Bが差し込まれるソケット本体201と、Y方向に沿って配置されかつソケット本体201に対して両端部を接続された棒状部材21とを有する。ソケット本体201と棒状部材21との間には、紐状部材が挿通する隙間が存在しており、この棒状部材21に紐状部材が巻き付けられることで、ソケット20に紐状部材が装着される。
なお、ソケット本体201は、表面部22および裏面部23の一部形状以外、ソケット20の中心線(結合時のプラグ10の中心線C1と一致)を軸として、180°回転対称な形状を有する。
プラグ10およびソケット20が結合状態のとき、表面部22のスリット221の内側には、脚部12Aの操作部14が配置され、裏面部23のスリット231の内側には、脚部12Bの操作部14が配置される。このとき、操作部14は、各スリット221,231の縁部に当接した状態となる。
また、側面部24の内面には、脚部12の係合部131,132に対応する2個の被係合部243が形成されている。具体的には、側面部24の内面における各ガイド面242のX方向側には、X方向に面する被係合部243が形成されている。
プラグ10およびソケット20が結合状態のとき、被係合部243は、脚部12の係合部131(または132)の係合面133(または134)に対して当接する。
プラグ10およびソケット20を結合させる際、使用者は、図1に示すように、プラグ10およびソケット20を互いに向かい合わせた状態から、プラグ10を差込口211からソケット20内へと差し込む。
脚部12がソケット20内をX方向に進む際、脚部12の係合部131,132は、側面部24のガイド面242により案内される(図8参照)。ここで、側面部24のガイド面242は、X方向に延びつつY方向内側に向かって湾曲しているため、第1延出部121は、係合部131,132を介してガイド面242から押圧を受け、Y方向内側に弾性変形する。そして、係合部131,132が被係合部243に到達すると、第1延出部121は、弾性変形していた形状が元の形状に戻り、係合部131,132が被係合部243に当接する係合位置に位置する。これにより、プラグ10が-X方向に移動(抜け出し)することが規制され、プラグ10およびソケット20が結合状態となる。
第1の操作方法では、使用者は、一対の脚部12の各操作部14をZ方向両側から掴み、各操作部14を-X方向に引く操作を行う。これにより、各操作部14には-X方向の力F1(図5参照)が加えられるため、一対の脚部12の各第1延出部121がY方向内側に弾性変形し、各脚部12における係合部131,132は、被係合部243との係合を解除される。そして、プラグ10は、-X方向に移動することでソケット20から抜去される。
この第1の操作方法は、従来のフロントリリースバックルおよびサイドリリースバックルの各操作方法とは異なる新たな操作方法として提供される。
この第2の操作方法は、従来のサイドリリースバックルにおける操作方法と同様である。
本実施形態に係るプラグ10において、操作対象となる操作部14は、脚部12のうち、第1延出部121よりもプラグ10の幅方向内側に配置される第2延出部124に設けられている。このため、本実施形態のプラグ10を使用したバックル1では、操作部14をバックル1の表面または裏面に操作可能に配置することができ、解除操作を安定して行うことができる。
また、本実施形態に係るプラグ10において、脚部12の第1延出部121は、従来のサイドリリースバックルのプラグの脚部と同様、プラグ10の幅方向に弾性変形するため、肉厚に形成することができる。このため、本実施形態に係るプラグ10を用いたバックル1は、従来のフロントリリースバックルよりも高い強度を有することができる。
よって、本実施形態のプラグ10によれば、強度を低下させることなく解除操作を安定して行うことができるバックル1を提供できる。
一方、本実施形態では、上述したように、一対の脚部12の各第1延出部121が互いに独立して弾性変形する。すなわち、本実施形態では、従来技術のようなブリッジが存在しておらず、当該ブリッジを弾性変形させる必要がないため、解除操作のために必要な力の大きさを低減させることができる。
例えば、上述のストラップを利用した従来技術のバックルと比較して、本実施形態では、指をストラップの輪の内側に差し入れる必要がなく、ストラップの輪を探るような手間を要さないため、操作が容易である。
次に、図9~図15を参照し、本発明の第2実施形態について説明する。
図9に示すように、本実施形態のバックル1Aは、プラグ30と、プラグ30が挿入されるソケット40とを備える。このバックル1Aは、主に、プラグ30とソケット40との係合構造が第1実施形態と異なる。以下では、第1実施形態と同様の構成部分について、詳細な説明を省略する場合がある。
プラグ10の構成について図9~図13を参照して説明する。
図9~図13において、プラグ30は、第1実施形態と同様の基部11と、基部11に接続された一対の脚部32A,32Bと、を備える。
一対の脚部32A,32Bは、それぞれ、基部11の一対の側面部113,114に接続されている。すなわち、一対の脚部32A,32Bは、基部11に対して、プラグ30の中心線C2を挟むようにY方向に互いに離間する位置で接続されている。
また、一対の脚部32A,32Bは、プラグ30の中心線C2(図9参照)を軸として、180°回転対称な形状を有する。例えば、図10に示すプラグ30の表裏を裏返した場合、一対の脚部32A,32Bは、符号32A,32Bを入れ替えるのみで同様に図示される。
以下、脚部32A,32Bのそれぞれを単に脚部32と称し、まとめて説明する場合がある。
ここで、係合部33は、第1延出部321のY方向外側の側面に対して段差として設けられている。この係合部33は、-X方向に面する係合面331を有しており、係合面331は、後述するソケット40の被係合部443に対してX方向に当接可能である。
なお、本実施形態では、第1延出部321の側面における段差を成す係合部33に対して、補強部332が設けられている。
操作部34に対して-X方向の力を加えた場合、または、第1延出部321に対してY方向内側の力を加えた場合、第1延出部321がY方向内側に弾性変形することで、係合部33は、Y方向内側に移動する。これにより、係合部33の位置は、ソケット40の被係合部443に対する係合位置から係合解除位置に変化する。
なお、操作部34の対称中心となる仮想面CBは、プラグ30の中心線C2に重なった状態から、プラグ30の中心線C2に対して傾斜した状態になる。
次に、ソケット40の構成について、図9、図14および図15を参照して説明する。
ソケット40は、プラグ30の一対の脚部32A,32Bが差し込まれるソケット本体401と、第1実施形態と同様の棒状部材21とを有する。
具体的には、ソケット本体401は、表面部42と、裏面部43と、一対の側面部44とを有する。ソケット本体401の-X方向側の端部には、プラグ30のための差込口411が形成されており、ソケット本体401の内側には、差込口411に連通した収容空間412が形成されている。収容空間412は、差込口411から差し込まれたプラグ30の一対の脚部32を収容可能である。
なお、本実施形態では、ソケット本体401の表面部42と裏面部43との形状が同一であるため、バックル1Aの裏面図を省略している。
プラグ30およびソケット40が結合状態のとき、表面部42のスリット421の内側には、脚部32Aの操作部34が配置され、裏面部43のスリット431の内側には、脚部32Bの操作部34が配置される。このとき、操作部34は、各スリット421,431の縁部に当接した状態となる。
プラグ30およびソケット40が結合状態のとき、第1延出部321のY方向外側の側面は、孔部441を介してソケット本体401から外部に露出し、被係合部443は、脚部32の係合部33に対してX方向に当接する。
プラグ30およびソケット40を結合させる際、使用者は、図9に示すように、プラグ30およびソケット40を互いに向かい合わせた状態から、プラグ30を差込口411からソケット40内へと差し込む。
脚部32がソケット40内をX方向に進む際、脚部32の第1延出部321は、側面部44のガイド面442により案内される(図15参照)。ここで、側面部44のガイド面442は、X方向に延びつつY方向内側に向かって湾曲しているため、第1延出部321は、ガイド面442から押圧を受けることで、Y方向内側に弾性変形する。そして、係合部33が被係合部443に到達すると、第1延出部321は、弾性変形していた形状が元の形状に戻り、係合部33が被係合部443に当接することで-X方向に係合する。
よって、プラグ30が-X方向に移動(抜け出し)することが規制され、プラグ30およびソケット40が結合状態となる。
第1の操作方法では、使用者は、一対の脚部32の各操作部34をZ方向両側から掴み、各操作部34を-X方向に引く操作を行う。これにより、各操作部34には-X方向の力F1が加えられるため、一対の脚部32の各第1延出部321がY方向内側に弾性変形し、各脚部12における係合部33は、被係合部443との係合を解除される。そして、プラグ30は、-X方向に移動することでソケット40から抜去される。
次に、図16~図23を参照し、本発明の第3実施形態について説明する。
図16に示すように、本実施形態のバックル1Bは、プラグ50と、プラグ50が挿入されるソケット60とを備える。このバックル1Bは、主に、プラグ50が備える操作部54の態様が第1実施形態と異なる。以下、第1実施形態と同様の構成部分については、詳細な説明を省略する場合がある。
プラグ50の構成について図16~図20を参照して説明する。
図16~図20において、プラグ50は、基部51と、基部51に接続された一対の脚部52A,52Bと、を備える。
基部51は、Y方向に沿って配置された棒状部材511と、棒状部材511のY方向の両端部に設けられた一対の側面部513,514とを有する。棒状部材511に紐状部材が巻き付けられることで、基部51に紐状部材が装着される。
また、一対の脚部52A,52Bは、プラグ50の中心線C3を軸として、180°回転対称な形状を有する。例えば、図17に示すプラグ50の表裏を裏返した場合、一対の脚部52A,52Bは、符号52A,52Bを入れ替えるのみで同様に図示される。
以下、脚部52A,52Bのそれぞれを単に脚部52と称し、まとめて説明する場合がある。
第2延出部524は、第1延出部521のX方向端部に対してY方向内側に接続されており、この先端部から-X方向に延出した後に屈曲してY方向内側に延出した形状を有する。
ここで、脚部52Aの第2延出部524は、中心線C3に対してY方向の一方側に配置され、脚部52Bの第2延出部524は、中心線C3に対してY方向の他方側に配置されている。また、脚部52A,52B間で第2延出部524のY方向内側の先端部は、互いの間に隙間を空けてY方向に対向している。なお、この隙間は、脚部52A,52Bの各第1延出部521が弾性変形することを妨げない程度であればよい。
係合部531,532のそれぞれは、-X方向に面する係合面533,534を有しており、係合面533,534は、後述するソケット60の被係合部643に対してX方向に当接可能である。
具体的には、第2延出部524のうち、スリット621,631を介してソケット本体601から露出する部分は、操作部54となる。また、脚部52Aの操作部54と、脚部52Bの操作部54とは、プラグ50の中心線C3を挟むようにY方向に並列して配置され、スリット621,631の縁部との間に操作用の空間OPを形成する(図21参照)。
操作部54に対して-X方向の力F1を加えた場合、または、第1延出部521に対してY方向内側の力F2を加えた場合、第1延出部521がY方向内側に弾性変形することで、係合部531,532は、Y方向内側に移動する。これにより、係合部531,532の位置は、ソケット60の被係合部643に対する係合位置から係合解除位置に変化する。
次に、ソケット60の構成について、図16,図21~図23を参照して説明する。
ソケット60は、前述したプラグ50の一対の脚部52が差し込まれるソケット本体601と、第1実施形態と同様の棒状部材21とを有する。
なお、ソケット本体601は、表面部62および裏面部63の一部形状以外、ソケット60の中心線(結合時のプラグ50の中心線C3と一致)を軸として、180°回転対称な形状を有する。
なお、本実施形態では、表面部62のスリット621または裏面部63のスリット631の少なくとも一方が形成されていればよい。
また、側面部64の内面には、脚部52の係合部531,532に対応する2個の被係合部643が形成されている。具体的には、側面部64の内面における各ガイド面642のX方向側には、X方向に面する被係合部643が形成されている。
プラグ50およびソケット60が結合状態のとき、被係合部643は、脚部52の係合部531(または532)の係合面533(または534)に対して当接可能である。
なお、表面部62は、Z方向側に位置する被係合部643を覆っているが(図21参照)、裏面部63は、-Z方向側に位置する被係合部643を覆っていない(図22参照)。
プラグ50およびソケット60を結合させる際、使用者は、図16に示すように、プラグ50およびソケット60を互いに向かい合わせた状態から、プラグ50を差込口611からソケット60内へと差し込む。これにより、係合部531,532は、第1実施形態と同様、被係合部643に当接することで-X方向に係合し、プラグ50およびソケット60が結合状態となる。
第1の操作方法では、使用者は、空間OPに指を差し入れ、一対の脚部52の各操作部54に指を引掛け、-X方向に引く操作を行う。これにより、各操作部54には-X方向の力F1(図20参照)が加えられるため、一対の脚部52の各第1延出部521がY方向内側に弾性変形し、各脚部52における係合部531,532は、被係合部643との係合を解除される。そして、プラグ50は、-X方向に移動することでソケット60から抜去される。
また、本実施形態のプラグ50は、操作部54が第2延出部524から突出していないため、厚み方向にコンパクトなバックル1Bを提供することができる。
さらに、本実施形態のプラグ50を用いたバックル1Bでは、第1の操作方法として、バックル1Bの表面側または裏面側のいずれか一方側から空間OPに指を差し入れればよい。このため、第1、第2実施形態よりも結合解除のための操作を容易にすることができる。
本発明は前述した各実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の目的を達成できる範囲での変形などは本発明に含まれる。
例えば、第1実施形態の変形例を図24および図25に示す。この変形例では、操作部14Aの傾斜面141Aが第1実施形態よりもX方向に大きく形成され、ボタン形状を成している。また、ソケット本体201におけるスリット221A,231Aは、操作部14Aの形状に合わせて、第1実施形態よりもX方向に深く切り込まれている。
このような変形例では、操作部14Aの傾斜面141Aが大きいことにより、プラグ10およびソケット20を結合解除するための操作を、より容易に行うことができる。
このような変形例では、スリット421,431の形状を大きく形成せずとも、操作部34Aの傾斜面341Aをソケット本体401に重なるように大きく形成することができる。
すなわち、第1~第3実施形態では、プラグ10,30,50およびソケット20,40,60を結合解除するための操作方法として、操作部14,34,54に力F1を加える第1の操作方法と、第1延出部121,321,521に力F2を加える第2の操作方法とを説明しているが、本発明はこれに限られず、少なくとも第1の操作方法が実施される構成であればよい。
これにより、バックル1,1A,1Bのデザインの多様性を向上させることができる。
例えば、第1実施形態において、脚部12Aの操作部14がZ方向に突出している場合、脚部12Bの操作部14は、-Z方向に突出せず、少なくとも第2延出部124のうちのソケット本体201から露出する部分であってもよい。このような場合、使用者は、一対の脚部12の各操作部14をZ方向両側から掴み、一対の脚部12A,12B間で操作部14を互いに押し付け合いながら-X方向に引く操作を行うことができる。なお、このような変形例は、第2実施形態においても同様である。
ただし、本発明では、第1~第3実施形態で説明したように、係合部131,132,33,531,532は、第1延出部321または第2延出部124,524のいずれか一方のみに設けられていることが好ましく、他の係合部を必要としない。
例えば、第1実施形態において、脚部12Aが係合部131,132および操作部14を有する場合、脚部12Bは、少なくとも第1延出部121を有していれば、係合部131,132および操作部14を有さずともよい。このような変形例では、脚部12Aによって、プラグ10およびソケット20の係合および係合解除が実現され、脚部12Bは、ソケット本体201内におけるプラグ10の姿勢を補助する役割を果たす。なお、このような変形例は、第2,第3実施形態においても同様である。
以上、本発明に係る各種の実施形態および変形例を説明したが、これらを適宜組み合わせて構成してもよい。
Claims (8)
- ソケット(20,40,60)に対する挿入および抜去が可能であり、前記ソケット(20,40,60)と共にバックル(1,1A,1B)を構成するプラグ(10,30,50)であって、
基部(11,51)と、
前記基部(11,51)に対して前記プラグ(10,30,50)の幅方向に互いに離間した位置で接続された一対の脚部(12,12A,12B,32,32A,32B,52,52A,52B)と、を備え、
前記一対の脚部(12,12A,12B,32,32A,32B,52,52A,52B)の少なくとも一方は、
前記基部(11,51)から前記プラグ(10,30,50)の挿入方向に延出した第1延出部(121,321,521)と、
前記第1延出部(121,321,521)から前記プラグ(10,30,50)の幅方向内側に延出した第2延出部(124,324,524)と、
前記第1延出部(321)または前記第2延出部(124,524)に設けられ、前記ソケット(20,40,60)の被係合部(243,443,643)に対して前記プラグ(10,30,50)の抜去方向に係合可能である係合部(131,132,33,531,532)と、
前記第2延出部(124,324,524)に設けられた操作部(14,34,54)と、を有し、
前記操作部(14,34,54)に対して前記抜去方向の力が加えられた場合、前記第1延出部(121,321,521)は、前記係合部(131,132,33,531,532)の位置が前記被係合部(243,443,643)に対する係合位置から係合解除位置に変化するように、前記プラグ(10,30,50)の前記幅方向に弾性変形する、プラグ。 - 前記一対の脚部(12,12A,12B,32,32A,32B,52,52A,52B)のそれぞれは、前記第1延出部(121,321,521)、前記第2延出部(124,324,524)、前記係合部(131,132,33,531,532)および前記操作部(14,34,54)を有しており、
前記一対の脚部(12,12A,12B,32,32A,32B,52,52A,52B)のそれぞれにおいて、前記操作部(14,34,54)に前記抜去方向の力が加えられた場合、前記第1延出部(121,321,521)は、互いに独立して弾性変形する、請求項1に記載のプラグ。 - 前記一対の脚部(12,12A,12B,32,32A,32B)の少なくとも一方において、前記操作部(14,34)は、前記第2延出部(124,324)から前記プラグ(10,30)の前記挿入方向および前記幅方向のそれぞれに交差する厚み方向に突出している、請求項1または請求項2に記載のプラグ。
- 前記一対の脚部(12,12A,12B,32,32A,32B)のそれぞれは、前記第1延出部(121,321)、前記第2延出部(124,324)、前記係合部(131,132,33)および前記操作部(14,34)を有しており、
前記プラグ(10,30)を前記厚み方向から見たとき、前記一対の脚部(12,12A,12B,32,32A,32B)における前記操作部(14,34)は、互いに重なるように配置されている、請求項3に記載のプラグ。 - 前記一対の脚部(52,52A,52B)のそれぞれは、前記第1延出部(521)、前記第2延出部(524)、前記係合部(531,532)および前記操作部(54)を有しており、
前記一対の脚部(52,52A,52B)における前記操作部(54)は、前記プラグ(50)の前記幅方向に並列配置されている、請求項1または請求項2に記載のプラグ。 - 請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載のプラグ(10,30,50)と、

前記ソケット本体(201,401,601)が前記一対の脚部(12,12A,12B,32,32A,32B,52,52A,52B)を収容した状態において、前記操作部(14,34,54)は、前記ソケット本体(201,401,601)から操作可能に露出している、バックル。 - 前記ソケット本体(201,401,601)は、前記プラグ(10,30,50)の前記挿入方向および前記幅方向のそれぞれに交差する厚み方向において前記収容空間(212、412、612)を挟むように対向した表面部(22,42,62)および裏面部(23,43,63)を有し、
