Definitions
- the present invention relates to absorbent articles.
- An absorbent article is known in which slits are provided in the crotch part of the absorbent body in order to control the diffusibility of absorbed body fluids (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
- an absorbent article is known in which a thin absorbent body has grooves, and the grooves are easily bent and deformed, so that a good fit is maintained before and after liquid absorption (for example, See Patent Document 2).
- the front portion of the slit is curved inward in the width direction, the central portion extends in the longitudinal direction, and the rear portion is directed outward in the width direction. curved.
- the wearer walks or closes his/her legs after wearing, force is applied to the inside of the absorbent body from both sides, and the absorbent body located outside the slit in the width direction moves toward the center.
- the central and rear portions of the slit will collapse and the physical space will be lost. This may reduce the diffusion of absorbed urine to the rear side and cause leakage.
- a pair of curved grooves curved inward in the width direction along the longitudinal direction is provided in a region corresponding to the groin of the wearer.
- force is applied inward from both sides of the absorbent body due to the wearer walking or closing the legs after wearing, so that the spaces of the pair of grooves cannot be held.
- the absorbed body fluid is not sufficiently diffused, and the body fluid accumulated on the surface of the absorbent body may leak from the side.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and its object is to diffuse body fluids through slits provided in the absorbent body during wear, thereby making it difficult for leakage to occur.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article.
- the main invention for achieving the above object is an absorbent article having a front-rear direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction that intersect each other in an unfolded and stretched state, and having a liquid-absorbing absorbent core. At least a pair of slits extending in the front-rear direction is provided in the absorptive core at the crotch portion located at the wearer's crotch, and the pair of slits is located at the front end portion in the front-rear direction.
- the intermediate outermost end is located outside the front outermost end and the rear outermost end in the width direction when the outer ends are defined as outer ends.
- an absorbent article that diffuses body fluids through the slits provided in the absorbent body and prevents leakage during wear.

- An absorbent article having a front-rear direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction that intersect with each other in an unfolded and stretched state, and having a liquid-absorbing absorbent core, in a crotch portion positioned at the wearer's crotch when worn.
- the absorbent core is provided with at least a pair of slits extending in the front-rear direction, and the pair of slits are formed in a front end region, a rear end region, and the front end region in the front-rear direction.
- It has an intermediate region sandwiched between the end region and the rear end region, and the outermost portion in the width direction of the front end region is defined as the front outermost end, and the rear end region
- the outermost portion in the width direction of the region is defined as the rear outermost end, and the portion positioned on the outermost side in the width direction of the intermediate region is defined as the intermediate outermost end.
- the middle outermost portion is located outside the front outermost end and the rear outermost end in the width direction, the absorbent article is pulled up when worn.
- the intermediate outermost portion will receive force from the wearer's leg at an early stage.
- the range where the force of the leg is applied to the slit is narrower, and the middle outermost part is deformed inward in the width direction. , a space tends to remain on the center side in the width direction.
- the front and rear end regions of the slit are located inside the intermediate outermost end portion in the width direction, so that they receive the force. It is difficult and the space of the slit is easily retained.
- the front and rear slits serve as flow channels to diffuse body fluids such as urine, making it difficult for leakage to occur. be able to.
- the absorbent core has a constricted portion constricted inward in the width direction at least in the crotch portion, and both ends of the pair of slits in the front-rear direction are the constricted portion. or inside the both ends of the constricted portion.
- the absorbent core is not easily displaced from the constricted portion when worn. It becomes difficult to apply force from the legs. Also, when force is applied from the leg, the constricted portion tends to receive force on the surface along the shape of the leg.
- the constricted part in the crotch part is the part that first receives urination, and by arranging both ends of the slit in the front-rear direction within the range in which such a constricted part is provided, the shape of the pair of slits is maintained. becomes easier. Thereby, the body fluid diffusion effect can be improved.
- the constricted portion has a front constricted region, a central constricted region, and a rear constricted region obtained by dividing the constricted portion into three equal parts in the front-rear direction. is located in the front constricted region, and rear ends of the pair of slits in the front-rear direction are preferably located in the rear constricted region.
- the central constricted area is likely to receive force from the legs.
- the front and rear end portions of the slit are less likely to be crushed, and the liquid diffusion effect can be maintained.
- each of the pair of slits has an inner edge and an outer edge that are continuous in the front-rear direction with a predetermined interval in the width direction, and the slit corresponding to the front outermost end.
- a position on the inner edge along the width direction is a front inner edge
- a position on the inner edge along the width direction corresponding to the rear outermost edge is a rear inner edge
- the length from the front outermost end to the outer end of the absorbent core is longer than the length from the center line in the width direction of the absorbent article to the front inner end
- the length to the outer end of the absorbent core is preferably longer than the length from the center line in the width direction of the absorbent article to the rear inner end.
- the width (length) of the absorbent core on the width direction outer side is wider than the slit, so that the leg that hangs from the width direction outer side with respect to the slit
- the force of is caused to interfere with the absorbent body (absorbent core) on the outer side in the width direction of the slit. This makes it easier to maintain the space for the pair of slits. Since the spaces in the front and rear end regions of the slit are less likely to be crushed, the liquid diffusion effect can be easily maintained.
- the absorbent core located inside the slit in the width direction is the region that first receives the body fluid. If the area defined by the length from the center line in the width direction of the article to the middle inner end of the slit) becomes narrower, it becomes difficult to secure a sufficient absorption amount. While providing a wider length of the absorbent core on the outer side in the width direction than the slit in the front and rear end regions of the slit, by maintaining a so-called opposite relationship at the same time, it is possible to prevent the slit from being crushed and to It is possible to achieve both collateral for absorbability.
- the pair of slits has linear portions along the front-rear direction in the front end region and the rear end region, and the middle outermost end is the vertex. It is desirable to have a curved portion curved outward in the width direction.
- an absorbent article by providing a curved portion directed outward in the width direction, it becomes easier to secure a space between the pair of slits, and it becomes easier to receive urination firmly. Further, even if the curved portion is deformed by force from the legs, the absorbed body fluid can be diffused in the front-rear direction along the straight portions of the front end region and the rear end region of the slit.
- the length of the curved portion in the front-rear direction is longer than the sum of the lengths in the front-rear direction of the straight portions of the front end region and the rear end region. is desirable.
- the length of the curved portion is longer than the length of the curved portion compared to the case where the total length of the straight portions of the front and rear end regions is longer than the length of the curved portion. If the total length of the linear portions of the side end regions is longer than the total length, it is possible to ensure a wider space between the slits in the curved portion that receives urination first, thereby reducing the risk of leakage.
- each of the pair of slits has an inner edge and an outer edge that are continuous in the front-rear direction with a predetermined interval in the width direction, and the slit corresponding to the intermediate outermost end
- the inner edge has a curved portion that curves outward in the width direction with the intermediate inner edge as a vertex.
- the innermost portion of the front end region in the width direction is defined as the front innermost end
- the width of the rear end region is defined as the front innermost end.
- the innermost part in the direction is defined as the rear innermost end, and when a virtual line connecting the front innermost end to the rear innermost end is drawn, the distance from the intermediate inner end to the virtual line is
- the length in the width direction is preferably longer than the length in the width direction of the pair of slits at the positions of the intermediate inner ends.
- the curved portion is curved compared to the case where the curved width (that is, the length from the intermediate inner end to the imaginary line) is smaller than the width of the slit itself. Since the width of the slit is large, the space between the pair of slits can be easily maintained. As a result, it becomes easier to receive the urination firmly, and by diffusing the absorbed urine through the slits, it becomes easier to reduce the occurrence of leakage.
- the middle inner end is positioned inside the width direction of the front outermost end and the rear outermost end.
- the degree of curvature of the curved portion increases as the intermediate inner end is positioned further outward in the width direction than the front outermost end (rear outermost end). It becomes difficult to receive the force from the leg. By not bending the bending portion excessively, the force from the leg is received by the surface of the bending portion, and the space between the slits can be easily maintained.
- An absorbent article having a front-rear direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction that intersect with each other in an unfolded and stretched state, and having a liquid-absorbing absorbent core, in a crotch portion positioned at the wearer's crotch when worn.
- the absorbent core is provided with at least a pair of slits extending in the front-rear direction, and the pair of slits has a convex portion projecting outward in the width direction in the crotch portion.
- the protrusions protruding outward in the width direction receive force from the wearer's legs at an early stage.
- the range in which the force of the leg is applied to the slit becomes narrower, and the convex portion deforms inward in the width direction, but the width is reduced. Space tends to remain on the central side of the direction. This makes it easier to catch urination firmly.
- the space of the slit can be easily maintained in the portion of the slit that is located inside the convex portion in the width direction. Therefore, the part of the slit where the space is maintained serves as a flow path, and body fluids such as urine can be diffused, making it difficult for leakage to occur.

- the front end 40Fe and the rear end 40Be which are both ends of the pair of slits 40, are arranged inside the both ends of the constricted portion C (the front end CF and the rear end CB).

- the constricted portion C the physical distance from both ends of the absorbent pad 10 in the width direction to the absorbent core 32 is long. Therefore, when wearing, the force from the wearer's legs is less likely to be applied to the constricted portion C. Further, even when force is applied from the leg, the constricted portion C tends to receive the force on the surface along the shape of the leg.

- the length from the front end 40Fe (rear end 40Be) of the slit 40 to the front end (rear end) of the absorbent core 32 is preferably 50 mm or more. Thereby, even if absorbed body fluid diffuses through the slit 40, it becomes difficult to reach the front and rear end portions of the absorbent core 32, and leakage can be prevented.
