即ち、螺子キャップは、水等で洗浄した後、エアブローでキャップ内の洗浄水を除去した後、容器に装着されるが、キャップ内に残った洗浄水が容器顎部の上面に溜まってしまうという問題がある。容器顎部の上面に溜まった洗浄水は、キャップのスカート壁とTEバンドとの間の微小な空隙を通って徐々にTEバンドの外面に流れ出し、この結果、TEバンドの外面に施された印字等が滲んでしまうという不都合が生じてしまう。このような洗浄水の水抜きの問題は、容器内への内容物の充填及びキャッピングが高速ラインで行われる場合に顕著となる傾向がある。おそらく、洗浄後のキャップが十分に乾燥されずに容器に装着される場合が多いためではないかと考えられる。
前記タンパーエビデントバンドの内面には更に、前記係止突起よりも上方の位置において前記容器顎部の外面と当接し、該容器顎部と該スカート壁内面との間に流路を形成する流路形成用突起が設けられていることを特徴とするプラスチック製螺子キャップが提供される。
(1)前記係止突起の上面に続く部位には、上方から該係止突起上端の付け根に向かって徐々に肉厚となるような環状傾斜面又は周方向に断続的な弧状傾斜面が形成されており、前記流路形成用突起は、前記環状傾斜面又は弧状傾斜面の上方に配置されていること、
(2)前記係止突起は、周方向に一定の間隔をおいて複数形成されており、前記流路形成用突起は、隣り合う係止突起の間の上方に配置されていること、
(3)前記流路形成用突起は、軸方向に延びるリブ形状、或いはブロック形状であること、
が好適である。
このように、本発明のキャップは洗浄性(水抜き性)に優れており、キャップ内に溜まった洗浄液に起因するTEバンド外面の印字の滲みなどが有効に防止されている。
一方、天板3の内面には、スカート壁5とは間隔をおいて下方に延びているインナーリング13が設けられている。インナーリング13の外側には、外方に向かって傾斜している短い補助突起15が周状に形成されている。さらにインナーリング13と補助突起15との間には、偏平状の小さな小突起17が周状に形成されている。
また、TEバンド7の内面には、フック形状を有する係止突起19が形成されている。
このようにして、容器口部50から取り外されたキャップ1からTEバンド7が切り離されていることにより開封履歴が明示されることとなる。
即ち、図2(図1のA-A断面図)に示されているように、この流路形成用突起30の周囲には、TEバンド7の内面と顎部53の外面との間に空間Xが形成されることとなる。

前記タンパーエビデントバンドの内面には更に、前記係止突起よりも上方の位置において前記容器顎部の外面と当接し、該容器顎部と該スカート壁内面との間に流路を形成する流路形成用突起が設けられていることを特徴とするプラスチック製螺子キャップ。 - 前記係止突起の上面に続く部位には、上方から該係止突起上端の付け根に向かって徐々に肉厚となるような環状傾斜面又は周方向に断続的な弧状傾斜面が形成されており、前記流路形成用突起は、前記環状傾斜面又は弧状傾斜面の上方に配置されている請求項1に記載のプラスチック製螺子キャップ。
- 前記係止突起は、周方向に一定の間隔をおいて複数形成されており、前記流路形成用突起は、隣り合う2つの係止突起の間の上方に配置されている請求項1に記載のプラスチック製螺子キャップ。
