Definitions
- This disclosure relates to an adhesive set, an adhesive body, and a method for manufacturing the same.
- An adhesive composition containing an organic borane complex is disclosed as an adhesive between plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene (for example, Patent Document 1).
- the organic borane complex is decoated to give organic borane by mixing with a decoupling agent.
- Organic borane acts as an initiator to generate radicals by reacting with oxygen.
- the borinic acid radical generated here acts as a dormant species of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) that sustains a growth reaction including surface grafting while suppressing a chain transfer or termination reaction of a compound having a radically polymerizable group.
- ATRP atom transfer radical polymerization
- an adhesive composition containing an organic borane complex it has been studied to improve the adhesive strength by adding a polymerization control agent such as a metal halide.
- a polymerization control agent such as a metal halide.
- the polymerization control agent acts as a further dormant species of ATRP, the deficient dormant species are supplemented, and the growth reaction of the compound having a radically polymerizable group is accelerated, resulting in a faster growth reaction. Therefore, it is presumed that the effect of improving the adhesive strength is exhibited.
- the polymerization control agent applied to the adhesive composition containing an organic borane complex is limited to metal halide salts such as CuBr 2 . Therefore, there are problems that the reliability is lowered by the metal ion or the halide ion derived from the metal halide ion, and the non-halogenation (halogen-free) cannot be dealt with.
- the main object of the present disclosure is to provide an adhesive set capable of preparing an adhesive composition having excellent adhesive strength without using a metal halide salt.
- the adhesive set comprises a main agent containing a decoupling agent and an initiator containing an organic borane complex. At least one of the base agent and the initiator further contains a compound having a radically polymerizable group. At least one of the base agent and the initiator further contains a compound having a thiocarbonylthio structure.
- an adhesive composition having excellent adhesive strength by mixing the main agent and the initiator. It is presumed that the reason why such an effect is exhibited is that the compound having a thiocarbonylthio structure acts efficiently as a dormant species of ATRP. Therefore, the adhesive set according to one aspect of the present disclosure can avoid a decrease in reliability due to a metal ion or a halide ion, and can realize non-halogenization (halogen-free).
- the main agent may contain a compound having a thiocarbonylthio structure.
- the adhesive body includes a first adherend, a second adherend, and an adhesive layer for adhering the first adherend and the second adherend to each other.
- the adhesive layer contains a cured product of the adhesive composition containing the main agent and the initiator in the above adhesive set.
- the method for producing the adhesive comprises a step of adhering the first adherend and the second adherend via an adhesive composition containing a main agent and an initiator.
- an adhesive set capable of preparing an adhesive composition having excellent adhesive strength without using a metal halide salt. Further, according to the present disclosure, an adhesive body using such an adhesive set and a method for producing the same are provided.
- the numerical range indicated by using "-" indicates a range including the numerical values before and after "-" as the minimum value and the maximum value, respectively.
- the upper limit value or the lower limit value described in one numerical range may be replaced with the upper limit value or the lower limit value of another numerical range described stepwise. good.

Abstract
