Abstract
Description
本発明は、2019年3月4日に、日本に出願された特願2019-038539号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
(1)本発明の態様に係る鞍乗り型車両は、スレーブシリンダ(28)の作動によって操作されるクラッチ(26)を有する変速機(21)と、作動油に油圧を発生させるマスターシリンダ(60)を有する油圧アクチュエータ(51)と、前記マスターシリンダ(60)で発生した油圧の前記スレーブシリンダ(28)への伝達を制御する油圧バルブユニット(53)と、前記マスターシリンダ(60)と前記油圧バルブユニット(53)とを接続するマスター側接続配管(91)と、前記油圧バルブユニット(53)と前記スレーブシリンダ(28)とを接続するスレーブ側接続配管(92)と、を備え、前記スレーブシリンダ(28)および前記油圧バルブユニット(53)は、鞍乗り型車両(1)の車幅方向一側部に配置され、前記油圧アクチュエータ(51)は、前記鞍乗り型車両(1)の車幅方向他側部に配置されている。
スレーブシリンダと油圧バルブユニットとが車幅方向における同一側部に配置されるため、スレーブシリンダと油圧バルブユニットとを近づけることができる。これにより、スレーブ側接続配管を短くすることができ、油圧バルブユニットで制御した油圧をスレーブシリンダへ迅速に伝達することができる。したがって、クラッチの油圧制御の作動応答性を高めることができる。加えて、油圧アクチュエータと油圧バルブユニットとを分離させることにより、油圧アクチュエータおよび油圧バルブユニットの配置自由度を高めることができる。加えて、油圧アクチュエータと油圧バルブユニットとが車幅方向両側部に振り分けられるため、車両の重量バランスを良好に保持することができる。
クラッチとスレーブシリンダとが車幅方向両側部に振り分けられるため、変速機の車幅方向片側のみへの膨出を抑制することができる。
カウル部材によって、油圧アクチュエータおよび油圧バルブユニットの少なくとも一部を飛び石等の外乱から保護することができる。
鞍乗り型車両のバンク角への影響を抑制することができる。
エンジンが上方に起立するシリンダを有する直立エンジンの場合、エンジンの前下方にはスペースが空いている。そのため、エンジン前下方のスペースに油圧アクチュエータおよび油圧バルブユニットが配置されることにより、他部品の配置自由度が損なわれることを抑制することができる。
排気管によって、油圧アクチュエータおよび油圧バルブユニットの少なくとも一部を飛び石等の外乱から保護することができる。
鞍乗り型車両のバンク角への影響を抑制することができる。

図1は、鞍乗型車両の一例としての自動二輪車1を示す。図1を参照し、自動二輪車1は、ハンドル2によって操向される前輪3と、動力源を含むパワーユニット20によって駆動される後輪4と、を備える。以下、自動二輪車を単に「車両」ということがある。
スイングアーム11とピボットフレーム8との間には、不図示のクッションユニットが介装されている。
図2に示すように、変速機21は、車幅方向に延びるメインシャフト22と、メインシャフト22と実質的に平行なカウンタシャフト23と、メインシャフト22およびカウンタシャフト23に跨る変速ギア群24と、を備える。変速機21は、有段式のトランスミッションである。カウンタシャフト23は、変速機21(パワーユニット20)の出力軸を構成している。カウンタシャフト23の端部は、クランクケース15の後部左側に突出している。カウンタシャフト23の突出端部(左端部)は、チェーン式伝動機構を介して後輪4(図1参照)に連結されている。
クラッチ26は、クラッチアクチュエータ50からの油圧供給によって動力伝達可能な接続状態となり、クラッチアクチュエータ50からの油圧供給がなくなると動力伝達不能な切断状態に戻る、いわゆるノーマルオープンクラッチである。
図中において、符号27はチェーン式伝動機構のドライブスプロケットを示す。ドライブスプロケット27は、カウンタシャフト23の左端部に取り付けられている。
図4に示すように、変速システムは、クラッチアクチュエータ50、ECU40(Electronic Control Unit、制御部)および各種センサ41~45を備える。各種センサ41~45には、シフトドラム36の回動角から変速段を検知するドラム角度センサ41(例えばギアポジションセンサ)、シフトスピンドル31に入力された操作トルクを検知するシフト荷重センサ42(例えばトルクセンサ)、スロットル開度センサ43、車速センサ44およびエンジン回転数センサ45が含まれる。
ECU40には、クラッチアクチュエータ50の油圧センサ57,58(図3参照)からの検知情報も入力される。
油圧アクチュエータ51は、駆動源としてのモータ70(例えば電気モータ)と、モータ70により駆動されるマスターシリンダ60と、を備える。
ソレノイドバルブ56は、メイン油路54の中間部位を開通又は遮断する。ソレノイドバルブ56は、ノーマルオープンバルブである。
上流側油圧センサ57は、上流側油路54a側の作動油の油圧を検出する。
下流側油圧センサ58は、下流側油路54b側の作動油の油圧を検出する。
例えば、マスター側接続配管91は、金属系材料で形成されている。これにより、配管の膨張による油圧伝達のロスを抑えることができる。
例えば、スレーブ側接続配管92は、ゴム系材料で形成されている。これにより、作動油の油圧が低下した場合に、スレーブ側接続配管92が収縮することで油圧を即座に高め、油圧を保持することができる。
次に、クラッチ制御系の作用について図5のグラフを参照して説明する。図5のグラフにおいて、縦軸は下流側油圧センサ58が検出する供給油圧、横軸は経過時間をそれぞれ示す。
自動二輪車1の停車時(アイドリング時)、ECU40で制御されるモータ70およびソレノイドバルブ56は、ともに電力供給が遮断された状態にある。すなわち、モータ70は停止状態にあり、ソレノイドバルブ56は開弁状態にある。このとき、スレーブシリンダ28側(下流側)はタッチポイント油圧TPより低い低圧状態となり、クラッチ26は非締結状態(切断状態、解放状態)となる。この状態は図5の領域Aに相当する。
やがて、スレーブシリンダ28側(下流側)の油圧が下限保持油圧LPに達すると、クラッチ26の締結が完了し、エンジン13の駆動力が全て変速機21に伝達される。この状態は、図5の領域Cに相当する。
図5の領域Eのように、下流側の油圧が上限保持油圧HPまで上昇した場合、ソレノイドバルブ56への電力供給を低下させる等により、ソレノイドバルブ56を段階的に開弁状態として、下流側の油圧を上流側へリリーフする。
次に、実施形態の油圧アクチュエータ51について図11を参照して説明する。
図11に示すように、油圧アクチュエータ51は、クラッチ26(図3参照)を作動するための作動油に油圧を発生させるマスターシリンダ60と、マスターシリンダ60を駆動するためのモータ70(駆動源)と、を備える。
図中符号64は、ピストン62を初期位置に戻すためのスプリングユニットを示す。
第二ガイド66は、シリンダ軸線C1と同軸の筒状をなし、第一筒部65aよりも長い第二筒部66aと、第二筒部66aの一端(ピストン62とは反対側の端)に連結された環状の第二環状部66bと、を備える。
スプリング67は、第一環状部65bと第二環状部66bとの間に配置されている。スプリング67は、第一ガイド65を介して、ピストン62をスレーブシリンダ28(図3参照)とは反対側に向けて常時付勢している。
次に、実施形態の油圧バルブユニット53について図12を参照して説明する。
図12に示すように、油圧バルブユニット53は、メイン油路54を含む油路を有するバルブボディ100と、メイン油路54を開通または遮断するソレノイドバルブ56と、メイン油路54の油圧の変動を吸収するアキュムレータ110と、作動油の油圧を検出する複数の油圧センサ57,58と、作動油に含まれるエアを抜くための複数のブリーダー部材101,102と、を備える。図中において、符号105はソレノイドバルブ56を覆うバルブカバー、符号106はグロメットをそれぞれ示す。
ソレノイドバルブ56は、バルブボディ100の一端部に接続されている。ソレノイドバルブ56は、ボディ軸線C11と同軸に配置されている。
一方、メイン油路54の油圧が閾値よりも低下すると、ピストン112がコイルバネ113の弾性力によってメイン油路54側に移動する。すると、メイン油路54に作動油が戻される。これにより、アキュムレータ110がメイン油路54の油圧を上昇させ油圧の変動を吸収する。
クラッチ26は、ピストン62の駆動により発生した油圧によって接続され、油圧クラッチ26の接続時は、油圧バルブユニット53により油圧を保持する。油圧バルブユニット53により油圧が保持されている間は、ピストン62は油圧を発生させない位置に戻る。この場合、ピストン62はスプリング67(図11参照)の付勢力によって初期位置に戻る。クラッチ26の切断時は、油圧バルブユニット53を開放することにより油圧を低下させる。
図6に示すように、油圧バルブユニット53は、車両左側部に配置されている。図中符号121Lは、車体左側下部を覆う左アンダーカウル(カウル部材)を示す。油圧バルブユニット53の一部は、左アンダーカウル121Lによって左側方および下方から覆われている。左アンダーカウル121Lは、油圧バルブユニット53の一部(下流側油圧センサ58等)を左側方に露出させる開口部122を有する。
本実施形態では、アキュムレータ110が油圧バルブユニット53の後部に位置することで、アキュムレータ110が油圧バルブユニット53の前部に位置する場合と比較して、アキュムレータ110側の継手部材(スレーブ側継手部材125)からスレーブシリンダ28に延びる配管(スレーブ側接続配管92)を短くすることができる。
マスター側継手部材126は、油圧バルブユニット53(バルブボディ100)の前上部に設けられている。
マスター側接続配管91の引き回しは、エンジン13の前方に配索する等、他部品との干渉を回避しつつ可及的に短くなるように車体構造に応じて適宜選択する。
図8に示すように、油圧アクチュエータ51は、車両右側部に配置されている。図中符号121Rは、車体右側下部を覆う右アンダーカウル(カウル部材)を示す。油圧アクチュエータ51の一部は、右アンダーカウル121Rによって右側方および下方から覆われている。右アンダーカウル121Rは、油圧アクチュエータ51の一部(マスターシリンダ60等)を右側方に露出させる開口部123を有する。
側面視で、油圧アクチュエータ51は、オイルクーラ97の後方に配置されている。油圧アクチュエータ51は、排気管(第四排気管134)の下方延出部130aの後方に配置されている。図中符号69は、上流側油路54a(マスター側接続配管91の一端部、図3参照)を接続するための油路接続部(以下「バルブ側継手部材」ともいう。)を示す。バルブ側継手部材69は、マスターシリンダ60の上端部前部に設けられている。
図10は、油圧バルブユニット53および油圧アクチュエータ51の配置構造の前面図に相当する。図中において、符号B1はバンク範囲、符号P1は後輪4の接地面の左端位置(以下「後輪接地左端位置」ともいう。)、符号P2は後輪4の接地面の右端位置(以下「後輪接地右端位置」ともいう。)、符号K1は左ステップの下方突出部先端J1と後輪接地左端位置P1とを通る第一仮想直線、符号K2は右ステップの下方突出部先端J2と後輪接地右端位置P2を通る第二仮想直線をそれぞれ示す。バンク範囲B1は、第一仮想直線K1と第二仮想直線K2とがなす鋭角の範囲を意味する。バンク範囲B1は、車両走行時におけるバンク角を設定するための範囲に相当する。
この構成によれば、スレーブシリンダ28と油圧バルブユニット53とが車幅方向における同一側部に配置されるため、スレーブシリンダ28と油圧バルブユニット53とを近づけることができる。これにより、スレーブ側接続配管92を短くすることができ、油圧バルブユニット53で制御した油圧をスレーブシリンダ28へ迅速に伝達することができる。したがって、クラッチ26の油圧制御の作動応答性を高めることができる。加えて、油圧アクチュエータ51と油圧バルブユニット53とを分離させることにより、油圧アクチュエータ51および油圧バルブユニット53の配置自由度を高めることができる。加えて、油圧アクチュエータ51と油圧バルブユニット53とが車幅方向両側部に振り分けられるため、車両の重量バランスを良好に保持することができる。
クラッチ26とスレーブシリンダ28とが車幅方向両側部に振り分けられるため、変速機21の車幅方向片側のみへの膨出を抑制することができる。
アンダーカウル121L,121Rによって、油圧アクチュエータ51および油圧バルブユニット53の一部を飛び石等の外乱から保護することができる。
車両のバンク角への影響を抑制することができる。
エンジン13が上方に起立するシリンダ16を有する直立エンジンの場合、エンジン13の前下方にはスペースが空いている。そのため、エンジン13前下方のスペースに油圧アクチュエータ51および油圧バルブユニット53が配置されることにより、他部品の配置自由度が損なわれることを抑制することができる。
排気管131~134によって、油圧アクチュエータ51および油圧バルブユニット53の一部を飛び石等の外乱から保護することができる。
車両のバンク角への影響を抑制することができる。

上記実施形態では、スレーブシリンダ28および油圧バルブユニット53が車両左側部(車幅方向一側部)に配置され、油圧アクチュエータ51が車両右側部(車幅方向他側部)に配置されている例を挙げて説明したが、これに限らない。例えば、スレーブシリンダ28および油圧バルブユニット53が車両右側部に配置され、油圧アクチュエータ51が車両左側部に配置されていてもよい。すなわち、スレーブシリンダ28および油圧バルブユニット53が車幅方向において油圧アクチュエータ51とは反対側に配置されていればよい。
そして、上記実施形態における構成は本発明の一例であり、実施形態の構成要素を周知の構成要素に置き換える等、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。

Claims (8)
- スレーブシリンダ(28)の作動によって操作されるクラッチ(26)を有する変速機(21)と、
作動油に油圧を発生させるマスターシリンダ(60)を有する油圧アクチュエータ(51)と、
前記マスターシリンダ(60)で発生した油圧の前記スレーブシリンダ(28)への伝達を制御する油圧バルブユニット(53)と、
前記マスターシリンダ(60)と前記油圧バルブユニット(53)とを接続するマスター側接続配管(91)と、
前記油圧バルブユニット(53)と前記スレーブシリンダ(28)とを接続するスレーブ側接続配管(92)と、を備え、
前記スレーブシリンダ(28)および前記油圧バルブユニット(53)は、鞍乗り型車両(1)の車幅方向一側部に配置され、
前記油圧アクチュエータ(51)は、前記鞍乗り型車両(1)の車幅方向他側部に配置されていることを特徴とする鞍乗り型車両。 - 前記クラッチ(26)は、前記車幅方向他側部に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鞍乗り型車両。
- 前記油圧アクチュエータ(51)および前記油圧バルブユニット(53)の少なくとも一部を外方から覆うカウル部材(121L,121R)を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の鞍乗り型車両。
- 前記油圧アクチュエータ(51)および前記油圧バルブユニット(53)は、前記鞍乗り型車両(1)のバンク範囲(B1)内に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の鞍乗り型車両。
- 前記変速機(21)の前方に配置されたエンジン(13)を更に備え、
前記エンジン(13)は、上方に起立するシリンダ(16)を有し、
前記油圧アクチュエータ(51)および前記油圧バルブユニット(53)は、前記エンジン(13)の前下方に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の鞍乗り型車両。 - 前記シリンダ(16)の前部に接続された排気管(131~134)を更に備え、
前記油圧アクチュエータ(51)および前記油圧バルブユニット(53)の少なくとも一部は、前記排気管(131~134)によって前方から覆われていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の鞍乗り型車両。 - 前記油圧アクチュエータ(51)は、前記マスターシリンダ(60)を駆動するためのモータ(70)を更に備え、
前記マスターシリンダ(60)および前記モータ(70)は、長手方向が上下方向を向くように配置されるとともに、上端部が車幅方向外側に位置し且つ下端部が車幅方向内側に位置するように傾斜して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の鞍乗り型車両。 - 前記油圧バルブユニット(53)は、長手方向が上下方向を向くように配置されるとともに、上端部が車幅方向外側に位置し且つ下端部が車幅方向内側に位置するように傾斜して配置された油圧センサ(57,58)を備えることを特徴とする請求項5から7のいずれか一項に記載の鞍乗り型車両。
