本開示の電極製造システムは、電極用部材製造装置11と、切断装置13とを備える。電極用部材製造装置11の構成を、図3~図6に基づき説明する。
図6に基づき、マスク144の形態を説明する。図6は、対極ユニット137、139に取り付けられたマスク144を示す。対極ユニット141、143に取り付けられたマスク144も同様の形態を有する。
電極用部材製造装置11を使用するとき、ドープ槽17、19、21に、ドープ溶液を収容する。ドープ溶液は、アルカリ金属イオンと、溶媒とを含む。溶媒として、例えば、有機溶媒が挙げられる。有機溶媒として、非プロトン性の有機溶媒が好ましい。非プロトン性の有機溶媒として、例えば、エチレンカーボネート、プロピレンカーボネート、ブチレンカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート、ジエチルカーボネート、メチルエチルカーボネート、1-フルオロエチレンカーボネート、γ-ブチロラクトン、アセトニトリル、ジメトキシエタン、テトラヒドロフラン、ジオキソラン、塩化メチレン、スルホラン、ジエチレングリコールジメチルエーテル(ジグライム)、ジエチレングリコールメチルエチルエーテル、トリエチレングリコールジメチルエーテル(トリグライム)、トリエチレングリコールブチルメチルエーテル、テトラエチレングリコールジメチルエーテル(テトラグライム)等が挙げられる。
切断装置13の構成を図7に基づき説明する。切断装置13は、供給ロール162、搬送ロール164、166、167、スリッタ169、及び巻取ロール171、173、175、177を備える。
まず、電極を製造するための準備として、以下のことを行う。未ドープ状態の電極用部材1を供給ロール101に巻き回す。次に、電極用部材1を供給ロール101から引き出し、上述した経路に沿って巻取ロール103まで通紙する。そして、浸漬槽15と、ドープ槽17、19、21と、洗浄槽23とを上昇させ、図3に示す定位置へセットする。
(1A)電極製造システムは、1つの電極用部材1から、複数の電極185、186を製造することができる。そのため、電極製造システムは、電極185、186を効率よく製造することができる。
<第2実施形態>
1.第1実施形態との相違点
第2実施形態は、基本的な構成は第1実施形態と同様であるため、相違点について以下に説明する。なお、第1実施形態と同じ符号は、同一の構成を示すものであって、先行する説明を参照する。
以上詳述した第2実施形態によれば、上述した第1実施形態の効果(1A)~(1C)を奏し、さらに、以下の効果(2A)を奏する。

Claims (10)
- 電極用部材を、前記電極用部材の一方向に沿って切断して電極を製造する電極製造方法であって、
前記電極用部材は、アルカリ金属がドープされた活物質を含み、前記一方向に延びる第1部位を複数備えるとともに、隣接する2つの前記第1部位の間に、アルカリ金属がドープされた活物質が存在しない第2部位を備え、
前記第2部位を切断する電極製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の電極製造方法であって、
前記電極用部材の形状は帯状であり、
前記一方向は、前記電極用部材の長手方向である電極製造方法。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の電極製造方法であって、
前記第2部位は活物質を含まない部位である電極製造方法。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の電極製造方法であって、
電極用部材製造装置を用いて前記電極用部材を製造し、
前記電極用部材製造装置を用いて製造した前記電極用部材の前記第2部位を切断し、
前記電極用部材製造装置は、
アルカリ金属イオンを含む溶液を収容するドープ槽と、
前記第1部位に含まれる前記活物質に未だ前記アルカリ金属がドープされていない状態の前記電極用部材を、前記ドープ槽内を通過する経路に沿って搬送するように構成された搬送ユニットと、
前記ドープ槽に収容される対極ユニットと、
を備える電極製造方法。 - 請求項4に記載の電極製造方法であって、
前記電極用部材製造装置は、
前記ドープ槽内にある前記電極用部材と、前記対極ユニットとの間に配置され、前記第2部位を覆うマスクをさらに備える電極製造方法。 - 電極を製造する電極製造システムであって、
電極用部材を、前記電極用部材の一方向に沿って切断して電極を製造するように構成された切断装置を備え、
前記電極用部材は、アルカリ金属がドープされた活物質を含み、前記一方向に延びる第1部位を複数備えるとともに、隣接する2つの前記第1部位の間に、アルカリ金属がドープされた活物質が存在しない第2部位を備え、
前記切断装置は、前記第2部位を切断するように構成された電極製造システム。 - 請求項6に記載の電極製造システムであって、
前記電極用部材の形状は帯状であり、
前記一方向は、前記電極用部材の長手方向である電極製造システム。 - 請求項6又は7に記載の電極製造システムであって、
前記第2部位は活物質を含まない部位である電極製造システム。 - 請求項6~8のいずれか1項に記載の電極製造システムであって、
前記電極用部材を製造する電極用部材製造装置をさらに備え、
前記電極用部材製造装置は、
アルカリ金属イオンを含む溶液を収容するドープ槽と、
前記第1部位に含まれる前記活物質に未だ前記アルカリ金属がドープされていない状態の前記電極用部材を、前記ドープ槽内を通過する経路に沿って搬送するように構成された搬送ユニットと、
前記ドープ槽に収容される対極ユニットと、
を備える電極製造システム。 - 請求項9に記載の電極製造システムであって、
前記電極用部材製造装置は、
前記ドープ槽内にある前記電極用部材と、前記対極ユニットとの間に配置され、前記第2部位を覆うマスクをさらに備える電極製造システム。
