Definitions
- the present invention relates to a liquid oral composition containing a collagen peptide.
- the present invention also relates to a method for suppressing foaming of a liquid oral composition containing a collagen peptide.
- the present invention also relates to a method for producing a liquid oral composition and the like.
- Collagen is a protein that has been widely used in the food field as gelatin. It is generally considered that even if a high-molecular weight collagen is orally taken, it is difficult to efficiently use the ingested collagen in the body. In recent years, high-molecular weight collagen is made into a low-molecular weight collagen so as to be suitable for ingestion in the body. Peptides have been developed, and beverages containing collagen peptides have also been developed.

- a liquid oral composition containing a collagen peptide has a problem that it easily foams due to shaking or the like. Therefore, for example, when a liquid oral composition containing a collagen peptide is used as a packaged beverage (container-containing beverage), bubbles are generated in the process of filling the container. When foaming occurs when the liquid oral composition is filled in the container, the foam is ejected before the container is filled with a predetermined amount, which causes trouble in the filling work. Further, when a packaged beverage containing a collagen peptide is shaken during transportation or the like and a considerable amount of foam is generated, the foam may be ejected at the time of opening the cap, which may cause discomfort to the consumer.
