La présente invention concerne une composition de gel appropriée pour la fabrication d'un produit d'hygiène personnelle ou de soins personnels, la composition de gel comprenant un épaississant choisi parmi l'hydroxypropylméthylcellulose (HPMC) et de la gélatine; un milieu liquide non aqueux à bas point d'ébullition, choisi parmi un alcool, une cétone ou un éther; et un ingrédient actif d'hygiène personnelle ou de soins personnels. L'invention concerne également des produits de soins personnels et de soins à domicile comprenant la composition de gel.
