本発明者らは、上記課題を達成するために鋭意検討を重ねた。その結果、押出コーティング法を用いて、熱可塑性樹脂(B1)および高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)を含む帯電防止性層(B)を基材層(A)上に形成することによって、帯電防止性層(B)における高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)の分散性が良好になり、その結果、単層中の高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)の含有量が低い場合であっても帯電防止性に優れた積層フィルム10が得られることを見出した。
押出コーティング法を用いると帯電防止性層(B)における高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)の分散性が良好になる理由は明らかではないが、押出コーティング法を用いると、特許文献1で用いられているインフレーション成膜法等に比べて、成形時の樹脂温度を高めることができるからだと考えられる。
すなわち、本実施形態に係る積層フィルム10の製造方法によれば、基材層(A)上に樹脂組成物(B3)を押出コーティングすることにより、基材層(A)上に帯電防止性層(B)を形成する押出工程を含むことで、得られる帯電防止性層(B)における高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)の分散性が良好になり、帯電防止性に優れた積層フィルム10を得ることができる。ここで、本実施形態に係る積層フィルム10は、中間層である帯電防止性層(B)が高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)を含むため、高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)がフィルムの外表面にブリードアウトすることを抑制することができる。また、本実施形態に係る積層フィルム10は、帯電防止性に優れるため、ヒートシールして袋状にする際や、袋に内容物を充填する際等に埃や内容物等がヒートシール性層(C)や基材層(A)に付着することを抑制することができる。その結果、得られる包装材や包装体の密封性を良好にでき、包装材の信頼性を向上させることができる。
なお、分散性の良好な帯電防止性層(B)のモロフォロジーはインフレーション成膜法等で得られたものと異なっていると推測されるが構造を特定することは困難である。
押出工程における押出コーティング温度の上限は特に限定されないが、例えば、350℃以下である。
積層フィルム10において、積層フィルム10の上記減衰時間の下限は特に限定されないが、例えば、0.0秒以上である。
(方法)

基材層(A)は、積層フィルム10の取り扱い性や機械的特性、導電性、断熱性、耐熱性等の特性をより良好にすることを目的として設けられる層である。基材層(A)としては、例えば、ナイロンフィルム、ポリプロピレンフィルム、ポリエチレンフィルム等のポリオレフィンフィルム、ポリエステルフィルム、ポリアミドフィルム、ポリイミドフィルム、ポリ塩化ビニリデンフィルム、エチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合体フィルム、アルミニウム箔、アルミニウム蒸着フィルム、紙等が挙げられる。これらは1種単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。これらは一軸あるいは二軸に延伸されたものであってもよい。
これらの中でも、機械的強度や耐ピンホール性等に優れていることから、ポリエステルフィルム、ナイロンフィルムおよびポリオレフィンフィルムからなる群から選択される少なくとも一種が好ましい。
基材層(A)は他の層との接着性を改良するために、表面処理を行ってもよい。具体的には、コロナ処理、プラズマ処理、アンカーコート処理、プライマーコート処理等を行ってもよい。
本実施形態に係る帯電防止性層(B)は、熱可塑性樹脂(B1)および高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)(ただし、熱可塑性樹脂(B1)を除く)を含む樹脂組成物(B3)により形成される。
帯電防止性層(B)中の熱可塑性樹脂(B1)の含有量は、帯電防止性層(B)の全体を100質量%としたとき、帯電防止性を向上させる観点から、99質量%以下、好ましくは98質量%以下、より好ましくは97質量%以下、さらに好ましくは96質量%以下、特に好ましくは95質量%以下であり、得られる積層フィルム10の透明性を向上させたり、コストを抑えたりする観点から、好ましくは70質量%以上、より好ましくは80質量%以上、さらに好ましくは90質量%以上、よりさらに好ましくは91質量%以上、特に好ましくは92質量%以上、最も好ましくは94質量%以上である。
また、帯電防止性層(B)中の高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)の含有量は、帯電防止性層(B)の全体を100質量%としたとき、1質量%以上10質量%以下、好ましくは2質量%以上10質量%以下であるが、帯電防止性をさらに向上させる観点から、好ましくは3質量%以上、より好ましくは4質量%以上、さらに好ましくは5質量%以上であり、得られる積層フィルム10の透明性を向上させたり、コストを抑えたりする観点から、好ましくは9質量%以下、より好ましくは8質量%以下、さらに好ましくは6質量%以下である。
これらの中でも、基材層(A)およびヒートシール性層(C)との接着性、取扱い性、製袋加工性、価格等のバランスが優れる点から、熱可塑性樹脂(B1)としてはポリオレフィンを含むことが好ましく、低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)、線状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)、エチレン・α-オレフィン共重合体エラストマー、ポリプロピレンおよびプロピレン系共重合体(プロピレンとプロピレン以外のα―オレフィンとの共重合体)からなる群から選択される少なくとも一種を含むことがより好ましい。
これらの中でも、帯電防止性により一層優れた積層フィルム10を得ることができる観点から、アイオノマー樹脂が好ましい。
エチレン・不飽和カルボン酸系共重合体は、少なくとも、エチレンと、不飽和カルボン酸から選ばれるモノマーとを共重合成分として共重合させた重合体であり、必要に応じて、エチレンおよび不飽和カルボン酸系以外のモノマーが共重合されてもよい。
共重合体においては、ブロック共重合体、ランダム共重合体、グラフト共重合体のいずれであってもよいが、生産性を考慮すると2元ランダム共重合体、3元ランダム共重合体、2元ランダム共重合体のグラフト共重合体あるいは3元ランダム共重合体のグラフト共重合体を使用するのが好ましく、より好ましくは2元ランダム共重合体又は3元ランダム共重合体である。
エチレン・不飽和カルボン酸系共重合体としては、エチレン・不飽和カルボン酸2元共重合体及びエチレン・不飽和カルボン酸アルキルエステル・不飽和カルボン酸3元共重合体からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種であることが好ましい。
これらの中でも、上記不飽和カルボン酸は、エチレン・不飽和カルボン酸系共重合体の生産性等の観点から、アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸から選ばれる少なくとも一種を含むことが好ましい。これらの不飽和カルボン酸は1種単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
これらの中でも、第3の共重合成分としては、不飽和カルボン酸エステルが好ましく、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(アルキル部位の好ましい炭素数は1~4)がより好ましい。
第3の共重合成分に由来の構成単位の含有比率が上記上限値以下であると、生産・混合の点で好ましい。
本実施形態に係るエチレン・不飽和カルボン酸系共重合体において、不飽和カルボン酸から導かれる構成単位は、好ましくは5質量%以上35質量%以下、より好ましくは8質量%以上25質量%以下である。
これらの中でも、カリウムイオン、リチウムイオンおよびナトリウムイオンから選ばれる少なくとも一種を含むことが好ましく、カリウムイオンを含むことがより好ましい。
アイオノマー樹脂の中でも、食品用途への使用が認められている点から、アイオノマー樹脂を構成する金属イオンとしてカリウムイオンを含むアイオノマー樹脂が好ましい。
また、本実施形態に係るアイオノマー樹脂の中和度は特に限定されないが、加工性や、得られる積層フィルム10の帯電防止性や耐熱性をより向上させる観点から、10%以上が好ましく、20%以上がより好ましく、30%以上がさらに好ましい。
ヒートシール性層(C)は、本実施形態に係る積層フィルム10にヒートシール性を付与するための層であり、例えば、熱可塑性樹脂(C1)を含む。
ヒートシール性層(C)の厚さは、例えば1μm以上300μm以下であり、好ましくは5μm以上200μm以下、より好ましくは10μm以上150μm以下である。

本実施形態に係る包装材は、少なくとも、本実施形態に係る積層フィルム10により構成された層を備える。また、本実施形態に係る包装材はその一部に本実施形態に係る積層フィルム10を使用してもよいし、包装材の全体に本実施形態に係る積層フィルム10を使用してもよい。
本実施形態に係る包装材の形状は、特に限定されないが、例えば、シート状、フィルム状、袋状等の形状が挙げられる。
袋状の形態は特に限定されないが、例えば、三方袋、四方袋、ピロー袋、ガセット袋、スティック袋等が挙げられる。
本実施形態に係る包装材は、例えば、食品、医薬品、工業用品、日用品、化粧品等を包装するために用いられる包装材として好適に用いることができ、食品包装材として特に好適に用いることができる。
本実施形態に係る包装体は、本実施形態に係る包装材と、上記包装材により包装された物品と、を備える。
上記物品としては、例えば、食品、医薬品、工業用品、日用品等が挙げられる。
PET1(ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム、厚み:12μm)
PET2(ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム、厚み:50μm)
ONy(二軸延伸ナイロンフィルム、厚み:15μm)
OPP(二軸延伸ポリプロピレンフィルム、厚み:20μm)
(熱可塑性樹脂(B1))
LDPE1:低密度ポリエチレン(密度:923kg/m3、MFR:3.7g/10分)
LDPE2:低密度ポリエチレン(密度:917kg/m3、MFR:7.2g/10分)
LDPE3:低密度ポリエチレン(密度:917kg/m3、MFR:23g/10分)
IO-1:エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体のアイオノマー(エチレン含有量:86質量%、メタクリル酸含有量:14質量%、金属イオン:カリウム、中和度:84%、密度:965kg/m3、MFR:0.8g/10分)
LLDPE1(低密度ポリエチレンフィルム、厚み:30μm)
LLDPE2(低密度ポリエチレンフィルム、厚み:100μm)
基材層(A)およびヒートシール性層(C)の間に、熱可塑性樹脂(B1)および高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)を表1に示す割合で含む樹脂組成物(B3)を押出コーティングすることにより、基材層(A)上に帯電防止性層(B)を形成し、表1に示す層構成の積層フィルムをそれぞれ得た。押出コーティングの条件は以下のとおりである。
押出機:65mmφ押出機(L/D=28)
押出コーティング温度(ダイ下温度):305℃、押出コーティング速度:80m/min、エアーギャップ:110mm
なお、基材層(A)の表面は、あらかじめアンカーコート剤によるアンカーコート処理をおこなった。
得られた積層フィルムについて以下の評価をそれぞれおこなった。得られた結果を表1にそれぞれ示す。
得られた積層フィルムについて、40℃で2日放置し、アンカーコート剤を硬化させた。次いで、得られた積層フィルムについて、23℃、50%RHの雰囲気下で7日間放置した後、FEDERAL TEST METHOD 101C METHOD 4046(米国連邦政府試験基準)に準拠して、静電電圧減衰特性測定装置(Electro-Tech Systems, Inc.:ETS社製 MODEL406D STATIC DECAY METER)を用いて、印加電圧5000V、23℃、50%RHの条件下で、積層フィルムの基材層(A)側の表面に帯電圧が5000Vになるまで電圧の印加をおこない、次いで、帯電圧が5000Vから500Vまで減衰する時間(秒)を測定し、積層フィルムの帯電防止性を評価した。なお、積層フィルムのMD方向を測定した。
Claims (14)
- 少なくとも基材層(A)と、熱可塑性樹脂(B1)および高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)(ただし、前記熱可塑性樹脂(B1)を除く)を含む樹脂組成物(B3)により形成された帯電防止性層(B)と、ヒートシール性層(C)と、をこの順番に備える積層フィルムであって、
前記帯電防止性層(B)中の前記高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)の含有量が、前記帯電防止性層(B)の全体を100質量%としたとき、1質量%以上10質量%以下であり、
前記帯電防止性層(B)が、前記基材層(A)上に前記樹脂組成物(B3)を押出コーティングすることにより形成された押出コーティング加工層である積層フィルム。 - 少なくとも基材層(A)と、熱可塑性樹脂(B1)および高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)(ただし、前記熱可塑性樹脂(B1)を除く)を含む樹脂組成物(B3)により形成された帯電防止性層(B)と、ヒートシール性層(C)と、をこの順番に備える積層フィルムであって、
前記帯電防止性層(B)中の前記高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)の含有量が、前記帯電防止性層(B)の全体を100質量%としたとき、1質量%以上10質量%以下であり、
下記の方法で測定される、前記積層フィルムの減衰時間が1.0秒以内である積層フィルム。
(方法)
FEDERAL TEST METHOD 101C METHOD 4046(米国連邦政府試験基準)に準拠して、静電電圧減衰特性測定装置を用いて、印可電圧5000V、23℃、50%RHの条件下で、上記基材層(A)の表面に帯電圧が5000Vになるまで電圧の印加をおこない、次いで、上記帯電圧が5000Vから500Vまで減衰する時間を測定し、この時間を上記減衰時間とする。 - 請求項2に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
前記帯電防止性層(B)が押出コーティング加工層である積層フィルム。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
JIS K7210:1999に準拠し、190℃、2160g荷重の条件で測定される、前記熱可塑性樹脂(B1)のメルトフローレート(MFR)が0.1g/10分以上20g/10分以下である積層フィルム。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
前記熱可塑性樹脂(B1)がポリオレフィンを含む積層フィルム。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
前記帯電防止性層(B)の厚みが5μm以上である積層フィルム。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
前記高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)がアイオノマー樹脂を含む積層フィルム。 - 請求項7に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
前記アイオノマー樹脂が、エチレン系アイオノマー、スチレン系アイオノマー、パーフルオロカーボン系アイオノマーおよびポリウレタン系アイオノマーからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種を含む積層フィルム。 - 請求項8に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
前記アイオノマー樹脂を構成する金属イオンが、カリウムイオン、リチウムイオンおよびナトリウムイオンから選ばれる少なくとも一種を含む積層フィルム。 - 請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
前記基材層(A)がポリエステルフィルム、ナイロンフィルムおよびポリオレフィンフィルムからなる群から選択される少なくとも一種を含む積層フィルム。 - 請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の積層フィルムにおいて、
前記ヒートシール性層(C)がポリオレフィンを含む積層フィルム。 - 請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の積層フィルムにより構成された層を少なくとも備える包装材。
- 請求項12に記載の包装材と、前記包装材により包装された物品と、を備える包装体。
- 少なくとも基材層(A)と、熱可塑性樹脂(B1)および高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)(ただし、前記熱可塑性樹脂(B1)を除く)を含む樹脂組成物(B3)により形成された帯電防止性層(B)と、ヒートシール性層(C)と、をこの順番に備える積層フィルムの製造方法であって、
前記帯電防止性層(B)中の前記高分子型帯電防止剤(B2)の含有量が、前記帯電防止性層(B)の全体を100質量%としたとき、1質量%以上10質量%以下であり、
前記基材層(A)上に前記樹脂組成物(B3)を押出コーティングすることにより、前記基材層(A)上に前記帯電防止性層(B)を形成する押出工程を含む積層フィルムの製造方法。
