Description

コンデンサ
 本発明は、本発明は、フィルムコンデンサ等のコンデンサに関する。
 両端面の引出電極にバスバーが接続されたコンデンサ素子を樹脂ケース内に収容し、当該樹脂ケース内に充填樹脂を充填したフィルムコンデンサが、特許文献1に記載されている。バスバーは、板状に形成され、コンデンサ素子の側面(周面)を覆う部分と、引出電極を覆う部分とを有する。引出電極を覆う部分は、その端部に接続部を有し、接続部が引出電極に接続される。バスバーには、電極を外部へ引き出すための外部接続部が接続される。
 また、複数の電極リード部を有する接続金具を備え、コンデンサ素子の両端面の素子電極部に電極リード部の先端にある先端接続部を半田付け等で接続するようにしたコンデンサ素子集合体において、コンデンサ素子が電極間で短絡するという形態で破壊に至った場合に、電極リード部が素子電極部から剥離する方向(素子電極部の表面に垂直な方向)に発生する破壊エネルギーによる応力を吸収緩和するため、その剥離方向にバネ性を持つように電極リード部を構成したものが、特許文献2に記載されている。

 近年、コンデンサは、車載用として、電力変換装置等のエンジンルーム内の装置に使用されるようになってきており、従来以上にコンデンサに高い耐熱性が求められるようになってきている。
 上記特許文献1のフィルムコンデンサでは、このような高温環境下に晒されることでフィルムコンデンサが高温となった場合に、その温度変化により、バスバーの引出電極を覆う部分が、引出電極の表面と平行な方向に膨張し得る。引出電極を覆う部分と接続部とを結ぶ方向では、この方向に引出電極を覆う部分が膨張しようとした場合に、その伸びが、接続部側では接続部により規制され、接続部と反対側では、コンデンサ素子の側面(周面)を覆う部分の上に堆積する充填樹脂により規制される。これにより、接続部には、引出電極を覆う部分が接続部側へと伸びようとすることで生じる応力が作用し、この応力によって引出電極と接続部との間に亀裂が生じたり、接続部が引出電極から外れたりする虞がある。
 特許文献1の構成とは異なり、引出電極を覆う部分が充填樹脂の内部で曲がらずに真っ直ぐ充填樹脂の外まで延び出すようにバスバーが構成された場合、引出電極を覆う部分の伸びの充填樹脂による規制は生じにくい。しかしながら、外部接続部が外部装置に備えられた外部端子に接続されることで、バスバーの接続部と反対側での伸びが外部接続部により規制される。よって、このようなバスバーの構成においても、バスバーが引出電極の表面と平行な方向に接続部側へと伸びようとすることで生じる応力が接続部に作用し得る。
 同様に、寒冷地においてフィルムコンデンサが車両に搭載されるなどした場合、フィルムコンデンサが低温に晒されることもある。このような場合、バスバーが引出電極の表面と平行に接続部側から縮まろうとすることで生じる応力が作用し、この応力によって引出電極と接続部との間に亀裂が生じたり、接続部が引出電極から外れたりする虞がある。
 なお、特許文献2の構成は、引出電極の表面と平行な方向へのバスバーの伸縮によって引出電極の表面と平行な方向に生じる応力を緩和させようとするものではない。
 かかる課題に鑑み、本発明は、電極の表面と平行な方向へのバスバーの伸縮に起因する応力によってバスバーと電極との間に接続の不備が生じにくいコンデンサを提供することを目的とする。
 本発明の主たる態様に係るコンデンサは、コンデンサ素子と、前記コンデンサ素子の端面に形成される電極と、前記電極に接続される金属製のバスバーと、を備える。ここで、前記バスバーは、バスバー本体と、当該バスバー本体における前記電極側に位置する縁部に、前記電極の表面と平行に延びるように設けられ、その先端部に前記電極に接続される接続部を有する、前記バスバー本体よりも細い電極接続端子部と、を含む。さらに、前記電極接続端子部には、前記バスバー本体が熱膨張して前記縁部が前記接続部に近づく方向に移動したときにその移動方向へ縮み、前記バスバー本体が熱収縮して前記縁部が前記接続部から離れる方向に移動したときにその移動方向へ伸びるように弾性変形が可能な形状を有する弾性形状部が設けられる。
 本発明によれば、電極の表面と平行な方向へのバスバーの伸縮に起因する応力によってバスバーと電極との間に接続の不備が生じにくいコンデンサを提供できる。
 本発明の効果ないし意義は、以下に示す実施の形態の説明により更に明らかとなろう。ただし、以下に示す実施の形態は、あくまでも、本発明を実施化する際の一つの例示であって、本発明は、以下の実施の形態に記載されたものに何ら制限されるものではない。

 以下、本発明の実施の形態について図を参照して説明する。便宜上、各図には、適宜、前後、左右および上下の方向が付記されている。なお、図示の方向は、あくまでフィルムコンデンサ1等の相対的な方向を示すものであり、絶対的な方向を示すものではない。
 本実施の形態において、フィルムコンデンサ1が、特許請求の範囲に記載の「コンデンサ」に対応する。また、端面電極11が、特許請求の範囲に記載の「電極」に対応する。さらに、下縁部21aが、特許請求の範囲に記載の「縁部」に対応する。
 ただし、上記記載は、あくまで、特許請求の範囲の構成と実施形態の構成とを対応付けることを目的とするものであって、上記対応付けによって特許請求の範囲に記載の発明が実施形態の構成に何ら限定されるものではない。
 図1(a)は、本実施の形態に係る、コンデンサ素子10よりも前側の位置で左右方向に切断したフィルムコンデンサ1の正面断面図であり、図1(b)は、本実施の形態に係る、コンデンサ素子10よりも右側の位置で前後方向に切断したフィルムコンデンサ1の側面断面図である。なお、図1(a)および(b)では、便宜上、半田Sが透明に描かれている。この点は、図3(a)および(b)並びに図4(a)および(b)についても同様である。
 本実施の形態のフィルムコンデンサ1は、高温環境下となり得る外部装置、たとえば、車載用の電力変換装置等の自動車のエンジンルーム内の装置に搭載することができる。このため、フィルムコンデンサ1は、耐熱性に優れ、たとえば、その耐熱温度が105℃以上とされ得る。
 フィルムコンデンサ1は、コンデンサ素子10と、一対のバスバー20と、ケース30と、モールド樹脂40とを備える。
 コンデンサ素子10は、誘電体フィルム上にアルミニウムを蒸着させた2枚の金属化フィルムを重ね、重ねた金属化フィルムを巻回または積層し、扁平状に押圧することにより形成される。コンデンサ素子10には、両端面に、亜鉛等の金属の吹付けにより端面電極11が形成される。
 なお、本実施の形態のコンデンサ素子10は、誘電体フィルム上にアルミニウムを蒸着させた金属化フィルムにより形成されたが、これ以外にも、亜鉛、マグネシウム等の他の金属を蒸着させた金属化フィルムにより形成されてもよい。あるいは、コンデンサ素子10は、これらの金属のうち、複数の金属を蒸着させた金属化フィルムにより形成されてもよいし、これらの金属どうしの合金を蒸着させた金属化フィルムにより形成されてもよい。
 バスバー20は、銅などの導電性を有する金属材料により形成され、バスバー本体21と、電極接続端子部22とを含む。バスバー本体21は、上下方向に長い長方形の板状を有し、端面電極11の表面と平行に延びる。電極接続端子部22は、バスバー本体21におけるコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11側に位置する下縁部21aに、端面電極11の表面と平行に上下方向に延びるように設けられる。電極接続端子部22は、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aにおいて、前後方向の中央に位置する。なお、上下方向は、電極接続端子部22の延びる方向となる。また、前後方向は、端面電極11の表面と平行であって電極接続端子部22の延びる方向と垂直な方向となる。
 電極接続端子部22は、その幅がバスバー本体21の幅(前後の寸法)よりも小さく、バスバー本体21の厚みよりも大きい。電極接続端子部22は、その先端部に、真っ直ぐ下方に延びる接続部23を有する。また、電極接続端子部22には、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aと接続部23との間に弾性形状部24が設けられる。弾性形状部24は、前後方向に波打つ三角の波形状を有し、上下方向に弾性(バネ性)を有する。接続部23は、半田Sによって端面電極11に接続固定される。接続部23の長さ寸法は、半田Sが接続部23の領域のみを覆い、弾性形状部24には掛からないように設定される。
 バスバー本体21は、上端部が、外部端子との接続に用いられる外部接続端子部25として機能し、この部分に貫通孔25aが設けられる。外部接続端子部25は、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aと同一平面状に設けられることになる。
 ケース30は、樹脂製であり、たとえば、熱可塑性樹脂であるポリフェニレンサルファイド(PPS)樹脂により形成される。ケース30は、ほぼ直方体の箱状を有し、上面が開口する。ケース30には、左側面および右側面の上部に固定部31が設けられる。固定部31には、上下方向に貫通する円形の固定孔32が形成される。
 モールド樹脂40は、エポキシ樹脂等の熱硬化性樹脂からなり、溶融状態でケース30内に注入され、ケース30が加熱されることにより硬化する。モールド樹脂40は、コンデンサ素子10と一対のバスバー20の一部とを覆い、これらを湿気や衝撃から保護する。
 フィルムコンデンサ1が外部装置に設置されたとき、ケース30の固定部31が、固定孔32に通されたネジにより、外部装置に設けられた固定部に固定される。外部装置に備えられた一対の外部端子が、一対のバスバー20の外部接続端子部25に、貫通孔25aでのネジ止めにより接続される。
 図2(a)は、本実施の形態に係る、外部装置に設置されたフィルムコンデンサ1が高温となったときのバスバー20の状態について説明するための図であり、図2(b)は、本実施の形態に係る、外部装置に設置されたフィルムコンデンサ1が低温となったときのバスバー20の状態について説明するための図である。なお、図2(a)および(b)では、便宜上、伸縮後のバスバー20(破線)が、伸縮前のバスバー20(実線)から少し横にずれた状態で描かれているとともに、バスバー20の伸縮量も実際より大きく描かれている。
 フィルムコンデンサ1が高温になると、その温度変化により、バスバー20、即ち、バスバー本体21が膨張する。また、フィルムコンデンサ1が低温になると、その温度変化により、バスバー本体21が収縮する。バスバー本体21は、バスバー本体21と電極接続端子部22との並び方向である上下方向に長手であり、熱膨張および熱収縮によって上下方向に伸縮しやすい。
 バスバー本体21は、上端部、即ち外部接続端子部25が外部端子に固定された状態にあるため、熱膨張および熱収縮したとき、上方への伸びおよび下方への縮みが規制される。このため、熱膨張が生じると、図2(a)に示すように、バスバー本体21は下方へ伸び、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aが電極接続端子部22に近づく方向に移動する。このとき、電極接続端子部22では、弾性形状部24がバスバー本体21の下縁部21aの移動に合わせてその移動方向に縮むよう弾性変形する。これにより、バスバー本体21が下方に伸びようとすることにより生じる応力が弾性形状部24により吸収され、接続部23や接続部23を介して半田Sに作用する応力が緩和される。同様に、熱収縮が生じると、図2(b)に示すように、バスバー本体21は上方へ縮み、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aが電極接続端子部22から離れる方向に移動する。このとき、電極接続端子部22では、弾性形状部24がバスバー本体21の下縁部21aの移動に合わせてその移動方向に伸びるよう弾性変形する。これにより、バスバー本体21が上方に縮もうとすることにより生じる応力が弾性形状部24により吸収され、接続部23を介して半田Sに作用する応力が緩和される。
 また、電極接続端子部22は、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aにおいて、前後方向の中央に位置するため、バスバー本体21が伸縮した際に、電極接続端子部22の根元部分(バスバー本体21との接続部分)に曲げ応力が生じにくい。
 <実施の形態の効果>
 本実施の形態のフィルムコンデンサ1の構成によれば、以下の効果を奏することができる。
 フィルムコンデンサ1が高温または低温となったときに、その温度変化によってバスバー本体21が膨張または収縮し得る。特に、バスバー本体21は、バスバー本体21と電極接続端子部22との並び方向が長手方向であるため、この方向に伸縮しやすい。また、バスバー本体21は、電極接続端子部22が設けられた下縁部21aと同一平面上に外部接続端子部25を有し、この外部接続端子部25が外部端子との接続により外部装置側で固定されるため、下縁部21a側、即ち、電極接続端子部22側で伸縮しやすい。よって、電極接続端子部22の接続部23や半田Sに作用する応力が大きくなりやすい。
 本実施の形態では、バスバー本体21が温度変化によって端面電極11の表面と平行な方向に伸縮した際に生じる応力を弾性形状部24の弾性変形により吸収することができるので、電極接続端子部22の接続部23や半田Sに掛かる応力を緩和できる。これにより、半田Sと端面電極11との間に亀裂が生じたり、接続部23が半田Sごと端面電極11から外れたりすることを防止できる。
 また、本実施の形態では、電極接続端子部22がバスバー本体21の下縁部21aにおいて前後方向の中央に位置するため、バスバー本体21が伸縮した際に、電極接続端子部22の根元部分に曲げ応力が生じにくく、根元部分が変形、破損等しにくい。
 さらに、本実施の形態では、半田Sが接続部23の領域のみを覆い、弾性形状部24には掛からないので、弾性形状部24の一部が半田Sで固められることにより弾性形状部24が弾性変形しにくくなる、ということを防止できる。
 以上、本発明の実施の形態について説明したが、本発明は、上記実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、また、本発明の適用例も、上記実施の形態の他に、種々の変更が可能である。
 <変更例1>
 図3(a)は、変更例1に係る、コンデンサ素子10よりも前側の位置で左右方向に切断したフィルムコンデンサ1Aの正面断面図であり、図3(b)は、変更例1に係る、コンデンサ素子10よりも右側の位置で前後方向に切断したフィルムコンデンサ1Aの側面断面図である。
 本変更例において、フィルムコンデンサ1Aが、特許請求の範囲に記載の「コンデンサ」に対応する。また、下縁部55aが、特許請求の範囲に記載の「縁部」に対応する。
 本変更例のフィルムコンデンサ1Aは、上記実施の形態の一対のバスバー20と異なる一対のバスバー50を備える。その他の構成は、上記実施の形態のフィルムコンデンサ1と同様である。
 バスバー50は、銅などの導電性を有する金属材料により形成され、バスバー本体51と、電極接続端子部52とを含む。電極接続端子部52の構成は、上記実施の形態の電極接続端子部22の構成と同じであり、接続部53と弾性形状部54とを含む。接続部53は、半田Sによって端面電極11に接続固定される。半田Sは、接続部53の領域のみを覆い、弾性形状部54には掛からない。
 バスバー本体51は、第1平板部55と、第2平板部56と、第3平板部57とを含む。第1平板部55は、端面電極11の表面と平行に延び、端面電極11を覆う。第2平板部56は、第1平板部55に対して折れ曲がり、コンデンサ素子10の周面に沿って延びる。第3平板部57は、第2平板部56に対して折れ曲がり、コンデンサ素子10の周面から離れる方向(上方向)に延びてモールド樹脂40から露出する。第1平板部55の下縁部55aにおける前後方向の中央に電極接続端子部52が設けられる。第3平板部57の上端部が、外部端子との接続に用いられる外部接続端子部58として機能し、この部分に貫通孔58aが設けられる。
 フィルムコンデンサ1Aが高温になると、その温度変化により、バスバー50、即ち、バスバー本体51が膨張する。また、フィルムコンデンサ1Aが低温になると、その温度変化により、バスバー本体51が収縮する。
 バスバー本体51は、第1平板部55が端面電極11の表面に沿って上下方向に伸縮するが、第2平板部56の上に堆積するモールド樹脂40によって、第1平板部55の上方への伸びが規制される。また、第2平板部56がコンデンサ素子10の周面に当接していることで、第1平板部55の下方向への縮みが規制される。このため、バスバー本体51に熱膨張が生じると、第1平板部55は下方へ伸び、第1平板部55の下縁部55aが電極接続端子部52に近づく方向に移動する。このとき、電極接続端子部52では、弾性形状部54が第1平板部55の下縁部55aの移動に合わせてその移動方向に縮むよう弾性変形する。これにより、第1平板部55が下方に伸びようとすることにより生じる応力が弾性形状部54で吸収され、接続部53や接続部53を介して半田Sに作用する応力が緩和される。同様に、バスバー本体51に熱収縮が生じると、第1平板部55は上方へ縮み、第1平板部55の下縁部55aが電極接続端子部52から離れる方向に移動する。このとき、電極接続端子部52では、弾性形状部54が第1平板部55の下縁部55aの移動に合わせてその移動方向に伸びるよう弾性変形する。これにより、第1平板部55が上方に縮もうとすることにより生じる応力が弾性形状部54で吸収され、接続部53や接続部53を介して半田Sに作用する応力が緩和される。
 本変更例のフィルムコンデンサ1Aでは、バスバー本体51は、端面電極11を覆う第1平板部55と、第1平板部55から折り曲げられてコンデンサ素子10の周面を覆う第2平板部56とを含む構成であり、第1平板部55は、上側での伸縮を規制されることで、下縁部55a側、即ち、電極接続端子部52側で伸縮しやすい。よって、電極接続端子部52の接続部53や半田Sに作用する応力が大きくなりやすい。しかしながら、本変更例では、電極接続端子部52に弾性形状部54が設けられているので、上記実施の形態と同様、弾性形状部54での応力の吸収により、電極接続端子部52の接続部53や半田Sに掛かる応力を緩和できる。
<変更例2>
 図4(a)は、変更例2に係る、コンデンサ素子10よりも前側の位置で左右方向に切断したフィルムコンデンサ1Bの正面断面図であり、図4(b)は、変更例2に係る、コンデンサ素子10よりも右側の位置で前後方向に切断したフィルムコンデンサ1Bの側面断面図である。
 本変更例において、フィルムコンデンサ1Bが、特許請求の範囲に記載の「コンデンサ」に対応する。また、下縁部61aおよび上縁部a65が、特許請求の範囲に記載の「縁部」に対応する。
 本変更例のフィルムコンデンサ1Bでは、2つのコンデンサ素子10が用いられる。このため、フィルムコンデンサ1Bは、上記実施の形態の一対のバスバー20およびケース30と異なる一対のバスバー60およびケース70を備える。
 ケース70は、樹脂製であり、上記実施の形態のケース30よりも深いほぼ直方体の箱状に形成され、左側面および右側面の上部に固定孔72を有する固定部71を備える。2つのコンデンサ素子10は、上下方向に並ぶようにケース70内に収容される。
 バスバー60は、銅などの導電性を有する金属材料により形成され、バスバー本体61と、2つの電極接続端子部62とを含む。電極接続端子部62の構成は、上記実施の形態の電極接続端子部22の構成と同じであり、接続部63と弾性形状部64とを含む。
 バスバー本体61は、上下方向に長い長方形の板状を有し、2つのコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11の表面と平行に延びる。バスバー本体61には、上側のコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11に対応する位置に開口部65が形成され、その開口部65の上縁部65aにおける前後方向の中央に一方の電極接続端子部62が設けられる。また、バスバー本体61の下縁部61aにおける前後方向の中央に他方の電極接続端子部62が設けられる。一方の電極接続端子部62の接続部63は、半田Sによって上側のコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11に接続固定され、他方の電極接続端子部62の接続部63は、半田Sによって下側のコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11に接続固定される。半田Sは、接続部63の領域のみを覆い、弾性形状部64には掛からない。バスバー本体61の上端部が、外部端子との接続に用いられる外部接続端子部66として機能し、この部分に貫通孔66aが設けられる。
 本変更例のフィルムコンデンサ1Bにおいても、2つの電極接続端子部62に弾性形状部64が設けられているので、上記実施の形態と同様、バスバー本体61が、熱膨張または熱収縮によって2つのコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11に表面に沿って上下方向に伸縮する場合に、その伸縮により生じる応力を弾性形状部64の弾性変形により吸収できる。これにより、電極接続端子部62の接続部63や半田Sに掛かる応力を緩和できる。
 <変更例3>
 図5は、変更例3に係る、コンデンサ素子10よりも右側の位置で前後方向に切断したフィルムコンデンサ1Cの側面断面図である。
 本変更例において、フィルムコンデンサ1Cが、特許請求の範囲に記載の「コンデンサ」に対応する。また、下縁部81aが、特許請求の範囲に記載の「縁部」に対応する。
 本変更例のフィルムコンデンサ1Cは、前後方向に並べられた2つのコンデンサ素子10に接続される一対のバスバー80と、2つのコンデンサ素子10が収容されるケース90とを備える。
 ケース90は、樹脂製であり、上記実施の形態のケース30よりも前後の奥行が大きなほぼ直方体の箱状に形成される。
 バスバー80は、銅などの導電性を有する金属材料により形成され、バスバー本体81と、2つの電極接続端子部82とを含む。電極接続端子部82の構成は、上記実施の形態の電極接続端子部22の構成と同じであり、接続部83と弾性形状部84とを含む。
 バスバー本体81は、その下部の幅が広くされた逆T字の形状を有する。バスバー本体81の下縁部81aにおける前後方向の中央に対して対称な2つの位置に電極接続端子部82が設けられる。一方の電極接続端子部82の接続部83は、半田Sによって前側のコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11に接続固定され、他方の電極接続端子部82の接続部83は、半田Sによって後側のコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11に接続固定される。半田Sは、接続部83の領域のみを覆い、弾性形状部84には掛からない。バスバー本体81の上端部が、外部端子との接続に用いられる外部接続端子部85として機能し、この部分に貫通孔85aが設けられる。
 本変更例のフィルムコンデンサ1Cにおいても、2つの電極接続端子部82に弾性形状部84が設けられているので、上記実施の形態と同様、バスバー本体81が、熱膨張または熱収縮によって2つのコンデンサ素子10の端面電極11に表面に沿って上下方向に伸縮する場合に、その伸縮により生じる応力を弾性形状部84の弾性変形により吸収できる。これにより、電極接続端子部82の接続部83や半田Sに掛かる応力を緩和できる。
 また、2つの電極接続端子部82が、バスバー本体81の下縁部81aにおいて、中央に対して前後方向に対象な位置に設けられているので、バスバー本体81の伸縮時に各電極接続端子部82の根元部分に曲げ応力が生じにくく、根元部分が変形、破損等しにくい。
 <その他の変更例>
 上記実施の形態では、電極接続端子部22に、前後方向に波打つ三角の波形状を有する弾性形状部24が設けられた。しかしながら、バスバー本体21が伸縮する方向に弾性変形するのであれば、如何なる形状の弾性形状部が設けられてもよい。たとえば、図6に示すように、電極接続端子部22に、前後方向に膨らむ円弧の形状の弾性形状部24Aが設けられてもよい。その他、弾性形状部は、前後方向に波打つS字の波形状、前後方向に膨らむU字の形状等を有していてもよい。
 また、上記実施の形態では、弾性形状部24が、前後方向、即ち、端面電極11の表面と平行であって電極接続端子部22の延びる方向と垂直な方向に波打つ形状を有する。しかしながら、弾性形状部24が、左右方向、即ち、端面電極11の表面と垂直であって電極接続端子部22の延びる方向と垂直な方向に波打つ形状を有していてもよい。同様に、弾性形状部24Aが、左右方向、即ち、端面電極11の表面と垂直であって電極接続端子部22の延びる方向と垂直な方向に膨らむ形状を有していてもよい。
 さらに、上記実施の形態では、電極接続端子部22が、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aにおける前後方向の中央だけに設けられた。しかしながら、電極接続端子部22が、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aにおける前後方向の中央だけでなく、図7(a)のように、下縁部21aの前後方向の両端にも設けられてもよい。
 さらに、1つの電極接続端子部22が、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aの前後方向の中央に設けられるのではなく、図7(b)のように、2つの電極接続端子部22が、下縁部21aの両端など中央に対して前後方向に対象な位置に設けられてもよい。こうすれば、中央に1つの電極接続端子部22が設けられるのと同様、バスバー本体21の伸縮時に各電極接続端子部22の根元部分に曲げ応力が生じにくくなる。
 さらに、上記実施の形態では、バスバー本体21の下部により、コンデンサ素子10の端面電極11の一部が覆われた。しかしながら、バスバー本体21の下部により、コンデンサ素子10の端面電極11の一部が覆われず、バスバー本体21の下縁部21aがコンデンサ素子10よりも僅かに上に位置するような構成が採られてもよい。
 さらに、上記変更例1において、バスバー本体51の第1平板部55が、第1平板部55と電極接続端子部52の並び方向に長尺となるよう形成されてもよい。
 さらに、フィルムコンデンサ1に含まれるコンデンサ素子10の個数は、必要な電気容量に応じて、適宜、変更できる。
 さらに、上記実施の形態では、コンデンサ素子10は、誘電体フィルム上にアルミニウムを蒸着させた2枚の金属化フィルムを重ね、重ねた金属化フィルムを巻回または積層することで形成されたものであるが、これ以外にも、誘電体フィルムの両面にアルミニウムを蒸着させた金属化フィルムと絶縁フィルムとを重ね、これを巻回または積層することによりコンデンサ素子10を形成してもよい。
 さらに、上記実施の形態では、本発明のコンデンサの一例として、フィルムコンデンサ1が挙げられた。しかしながら、本発明は、フィルムコンデンサ1以外のコンデンサに適用することもできる。また、本発明は、ケースがなく、コンデンサ素子を覆うモールド樹脂がコンデンサの外郭を構成する、いわゆるケースレスのコンデンサに適用することもできる。
 この他、本発明の実施の形態は、特許請求の範囲に示された技術的思想の範囲内において、適宜、種々の変更が可能である。
 なお、上記実施の形態の説明において「上方」「下方」等の方向を示す用語は、構成部材の相対的な位置関係にのみ依存する相対的な方向を示すものであり、鉛直方向、水平方向等の絶対的な方向を示すものではない。
 本発明は、各種電子機器、電気機器、産業機器、車両の電装等に使用されるコンデンサおよびコンデンサの製造に有用である。

Claims (7)

  1.  コンデンサ素子と、
     前記コンデンサ素子の端面に形成される電極と、
     前記電極に接続される金属製のバスバーと、を備え、
     前記バスバーは、
      バスバー本体と、
      前記バスバー本体における前記電極側に位置する縁部に、前記電極の表面と平行に延びるように設けられ、その先端部に前記電極に接続される接続部を有する、前記バスバー本体よりも細い電極接続端子部と、を含み、
     前記電極接続端子部には、前記バスバー本体が熱膨張して前記縁部が前記接続部に近づく方向に移動したときにその移動方向へ縮み、前記バスバー本体が熱収縮して前記縁部が前記接続部から離れる方向に移動したときにその移動方向へ伸びるように弾性変形が可能な形状を有する弾性形状部が設けられる、
    ことを特徴とするコンデンサ。
  2.  請求項1に記載のコンデンサにおいて、
     前記弾性形状部は、前記電極接続端子部の延びる方向と垂直な方向に波打つ形状または膨らむ形状を有する、
    ことを特徴とするコンデンサ。
  3.  請求項1に記載のコンデンサにおいて、
     前記バスバー本体の少なくとも前記縁部を有する一部は、前記電極の表面と平行に延び、その長手方向が前記バスバー本体と前記電極接続端子部との並び方向となる、
    ことを特徴とするコンデンサ。
  4.  請求項1ないし3の何れか一項に記載のコンデンにおいて、
     前記縁部には、前記電極の表面と平行で且つ前記電極接続端子部の延びる方向と垂直な方向における中央の位置および/または中央に対して対称な2つの位置に、前記電極接続端子部が設けられる、
    ことを特徴とするコンデンサ。
  5.  請求項1ないし4の何れか一項に記載のコンデンサにおいて、
     前記バスバーは、前記接続部が前記電極に半田によって固定接続され、
     前記弾性形状部には、前記半田が掛からない、
    ことを特徴とするコンデンサ。
  6.  請求項1ないし5の何れか一項に記載のコンデンサにおいて、
     前記コンデンサ素子が収容されるケースと、
     前記ケースに充填されるモールド樹脂と、をさらに備え、
     前記バスバー本体は、前記縁部と同一平面上に、前記モールド樹脂から露出し外部端子に接続される外部接続端子部を有する、
    ことを特徴とするコンデンサ。
  7.  請求項1ないし5の何れか一項に記載のコンデンサにおいて、
     前記コンデンサ素子が収容されるケースと、
     前記ケースに充填されるモールド樹脂と、をさらに備え、
     前記バスバー本体は、前記縁部を有し、前記電極を覆う第1平板部と、前記第1平板部に対して折れ曲がり、前記コンデンサ素子の周面に沿って延びる第2平板部と、前記第2平板部に対して折れ曲がり、前記コンデンサ素子の周面から離れる方向に延びて前記モールド樹脂から露出する第3平板部とを含む、
    ことを特徴とするコンデンサ。
