- Synthetic fibers such as acetate and polyester have a very high hydrophobicity as compared with conventional cellulose and protein fibers, making it very difficult to be dyed with conventional hydrophilic dyes.
- the dyeing of such hydrophobic fibers does not contain water-soluble groups, and has been used as a disperse dye which is dispersed in water as a dye insoluble in water.
- the disperse dyes cannot sufficiently realize excellent dyeing rate and high daylight fastness in view of their properties, and furthermore, the affinity of polyester to blended fibers and the like is not clear.
- the inventors after extensive research and various experiments, described a method of dyeing a blended fiber material including polyester using a disperse dye composition containing a combination of specific compounds as described below. It has been developed, and in this case, it has been found that excellent dyeing rate and fastness can be obtained, and the present invention has been completed.
- the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a disperse dye composition having excellent fastness by mixing disperse dyes in an appropriate ratio.
