特開2000-178303号公報(特許文献1)には、洗濯用仕上げ剤として、特定のアルキル基、カルボキシメチル基、及びカチオン基で置換されている多糖誘導体が記載されている。
特開2015-168666号公報(特許文献2)には、特定の界面活性剤、カチオン性基含有セルロースエーテル及びグリセリルエーテルを含有する、水性毛髪洗浄剤が記載されている。
特表2013-529644号公報(特許文献3)には、多糖類、及びカチオン性モノマーを含有する合成ポリマーからなる群から選択される特定の持続性ポリマーを含む、パーソナルケア組成物添加剤が開示されている。
<1> 変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースと、アニオン性界面活性剤及びノニオン性界面活性剤から選ばれる1種以上とを含有し、該変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水酸基から水素原子を除いた基に、カチオン性基、及び式(1)で表される疎水基が結合している、組成物。
本発明は、対象物に処理することで、洗浄時の汚れの洗浄性を向上することができる、組成物に関する。
本発明者等は、特定の組成物により、上記の課題が解決されることを見出した。
なお、以下の説明において、「洗浄性能」とは、洗浄時の汚れの落ちやすさを向上させる性能を意味する。
本発明の組成物は、変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロース(以下、「本発明の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロース」ともいう。)と、アニオン性界面活性剤及びノニオン性界面活性剤から選ばれる1種以上とを含有し、該変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水酸基から水素原子を除いた基に、カチオン性基、及び式(1)で表される疎水基が結合している。
本発明の組成物が含有する変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、カチオン性基と疎水基の両方を有するため、衣類等の対象物の表面に対して吸着することにより表面に均質かつ適度な親水性を付与すると考えられる。そして、前記変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、アニオン性界面活性剤と静電相互作用、あるいはノニオン性界面活性剤と疎水性相互作用する等して、表面に効率よく吸着するため、表面が汚れの落ちやすい状態に改質されて、洗浄効果が向上すると推定される。
本発明の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水酸基から水素原子を除いた基に、カチオン性基、及び式(1)で表される疎水基が結合している。
ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、洗浄性能の観点から、好ましくはヒドロキシエチルセルロース(以下、「HEC」ともいう)、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシブチルセルロース、より好ましくはHEC、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、更に好ましくはHECである。
本発明の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、洗浄性能の観点から、好ましくは変性ヒドロキシエチルセルロース(以下、「変性HEC」ともいう)、変性ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、変性ヒドロキシブチルセルロース、より好ましくは変性HEC、変性ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、更に好ましくは変性HECである。
本発明において、X基の置換度とは、X基のモル平均置換度であり、セルロースの構成単糖単位あたりのX基の置換数を意味する。例えば、「ヒドロキシエチル基の置換度」は、アンヒドログルコース単位1モルに対して導入された(結合している)ヒドロキシエチル基の平均モル数を意味する。
前記ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースが、ヒドロキシエチル基及びヒドロキシプロピル基の双方を有する場合には、ヒドロキシアルキル基の置換度は、ヒドロキシエチル基の置換度と、ヒドロキシプロピル基の置換度の合計である。
本発明において、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの重量平均分子量は、洗浄性能の観点から、好ましくは1,000以上、より好ましくは1万以上、更に好ましくは3万以上、より更に好ましくは5万以上、より更に好ましくは7万以上、より更に好ましくは10万以上、より更に好ましくは13万以上であり、そして、組成物中での溶解性の観点から、好ましくは300万以下、より好ましくは150万以下、更に好ましくは120万以下、より更に好ましくは79万以下、より更に好ましくは60万以下、より更に好ましくは50万以下、より更に好ましくは40万以下である。
ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースとして、製品を入手して使用する場合には、製造社の公表値を使用してもよい。
本発明の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、上述したヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水酸基から水素原子を除いた基に、カチオン性基が結合している。前記水酸基は、セルロースに結合したヒドロキシアルキル基が有する水酸基と、セルロース骨格を形成するグルコースが有する水酸基(ヒドロキシアルキル基が結合していない水酸基)とを含む。
変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースが有するカチオン性基は、第4級アンモニウムカチオンを含むことが好ましく、全体として、以下の式(2-1)又は式(2-2)で表されることが好ましい。
(式(2-1)及び式(2-2)中、R21~R23はそれぞれ独立に、炭素数1以上4以下の炭化水素基を示し、X-はアニオンを示し、tは0以上3以下の整数を示し、*はヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水酸基から水素原子を除いた基との結合位置を示す。)
tは、好ましくは1以上3以下の整数、より好ましくは1又は2、更に好ましくは1である。
X-は、第4級アンモニウムカチオンの対イオンであり、炭素数1以上3以下のアルキル硫酸イオン、硫酸イオン、リン酸イオン、炭素数1以上3以下のカルボン酸イオン(ギ酸イオン、酢酸イオン、プロピオン酸イオン)、及びハロゲン化物イオンが例示される。
これらの中でも、製造の容易性及び原料入手容易性の観点から、X-は、好ましくはメチル硫酸イオン、エチル硫酸イオン、塩化物イオン、及び臭化物イオンから選択される1種以上であり、得られる変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水溶性及び化学的安定性の観点から、より好ましくは塩化物イオンである。
X-は1種単独であってもよく、2種以上であってもよい。
これらのカチオン化剤は、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。
カチオン性基の置換度は、実施例に記載の方法により測定される。
本発明の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水酸基から水素原子を除いた基に、下記式(1)で表される疎水基が結合している。
R1の炭素数は、洗浄性能の観点から、2以上、好ましくは4以上、より好ましくは6以上、更に好ましくは8以上、より更に好ましくは10以上であり、そして、好ましくは24以下、より好ましくは22以下、更に好ましくは18以下、より更に好ましくは16以下、より更に好ましくは14以下である。
R1は、炭化水素基の炭素数が最大となるように定義される。従って、式(1)において、Z中のR1と結合する原子は、例えば酸素原子、カーボネート炭素、水酸基が結合している炭素原子、ヒドロキシアルキル基が結合している炭素原子等である。
炭素数が9以上の炭化水素基の割合は、例えば、GCを用いて測定することができる。
Zが酸素原子を有する炭化水素基(以下、炭化水素基(Z)ともいう。)である場合、炭化水素基(Z)は、エポキシ基由来の基、オキシグリシジル基由来の基、又はカルボン酸(若しくはその無水物)由来の基を含むことが好ましく、洗浄性能の観点から、オキシグリシジル基由来の基を含むことがより好ましい。
式(1)で表される基は、下記式(1-1-1)~(1-4)のいずれかで表される基を含むことがより好ましい。

R11及びR12はそれぞれ独立に、好ましくはエチレン基又はプロピレン基、より好ましくはエチレン基である。R11及びR12の炭素数は、好ましくは2以上3以下である。R11及びR12が複数存在する場合、それぞれ同一でも異なっていてもよい。n1及びn2は、好ましくは20以下、より好ましくは10以下、更に好ましくは5以下、より更に好ましくは3以下、より更に好ましくは1以下であり、そして、0以上であってもよく、0であることがより更に好ましい。
式(1)で表される基が、式(1-4)で表される基を含有する場合、式(1-4)における-R12-O-の平均付加モル数は、ソイルリリース性能の観点から、好ましくは20以下、より好ましくは10以下、更に好ましくは5以下、より更に好ましくは3以下、より更に好ましくは1以下であり、そして、好ましくは0以上である。
式(1-2-1)及び式(1-2-2)は、Zがエポキシ基に由来する基である。式(1-2-1)及び式(1-2-2)で表される基は、疎水化剤として、末端エポキシ化炭化水素、好ましくは末端エポキシ化アルカンを使用することで得られる。
式(1-3)は、疎水基が直接にヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水酸基から水素原子を除いた基と結合している場合である。式(1-3)で表される基は、疎水化剤として、ハロゲン化炭化水素を使用することで得られる。
式(1-4)は、Zがカルボニル基を含有する。式(1-4)で表される基は、疎水化剤として、R1-C(=O)-OH、R1-C(=O)-A(Aはハロゲン原子を示す。)、R1-C(=O)-O-C(=O)-R1等を使用することで得られる。
これらの中でも、変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの製造時に塩の副生がなく、また、洗浄性能の観点から、式(1-1-1)、式(1-1-2)、式(1-2-1)又は式(1-2-2)で表される基であることが好ましく、より好ましくは式(1-1-1)又は式(1-1-2)で表される基である。
式(1)で表される疎水基の中で、式(1-1-1)で表される疎水基、式(1-1-2)で表される疎水基、式(1-2-1)で表される疎水基、式(1-2-2)で表される疎水基、式(1-3)で表される疎水基、及び式(1-4)で表される疎水基の合計含有量は、好ましくは50mol%、より好ましくは80mol%以上、更に好ましくは90mol%以上であり、100mol%以下であり、100mol%であることがより更に好ましい。
疎水基の置換度は、実施例に記載の方法により測定される。
MSAは、洗浄性能の観点から、好ましくは0.01未満、より好ましくは0.001以下である。
変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースがアニオン性基を有する場合、該アニオン性基としては、カルボキシメチル基等が例示される。
カルボキシメチル基の導入反応(カルボキシメチル化反応)は、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースに塩基性化合物の存在下、モノハロゲン化酢酸及び/又はその金属塩を反応させることにより行われる。
モノハロゲン化酢酸及びモノハロゲン化酢酸の金属塩としては、具体的には、モノクロル酢酸、モノクロロ酢酸ナトリウム、モノクロロ酢酸カリウム、モノブロモ酢酸ナトリウム、モノブロモ酢酸カリウム等が例示される。これらモノハロゲン化酢酸及びその金属塩は単独あるいは2種以上を組み合せても使用することができる。
グリセロール基を有する変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、例えば後述の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの製造工程において、グリセロール化剤を作用させることによって得られる。該グリセロール化剤としては、グリシドール、3-クロロ-1,2-プロパンジオール、3-ブロモ-1,2-プロパンジオール、グリセリン、グリセリンカーボネート等が挙げられ、塩が副生しないこと、及び反応性の観点から、グリシドールが好ましい。
本発明の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースに対し、カチオン化剤及び疎水化剤と反応させて、カチオン性基及び疎水基を導入して得ることが好ましい。
ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースに対する、カチオン性基の導入反応(以下、「カチオン化反応」ともいう)及び疎水基の導入反応(以下、「疎水化反応」ともいう)は、いずれも塩基性化合物の共存下で行うことが好ましい。塩基性化合物としては、導入反応の反応速度の観点から、アルカリ金属水酸化物が好ましく、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウムがより好ましい。
前記反応は、反応性の観点から、非水溶剤の存在下で行ってもよい。前記非水溶剤としては、2-プロパノール等の極性溶剤が挙げられる。
反応後は、酸を用いて塩基性化合物を中和することができる。酸としては、例えばリン酸等の無機酸、酢酸等の有機酸が挙げられる。
得られた変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、必要に応じて、濾過、洗浄等により精製してもよい。
本発明の組成物は、アニオン性界面活性剤、及び後述するノニオン性界面活性剤から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含有する。
アニオン性界面活性剤としては、界面活性剤の疎水基、好ましくはアルキル基の1級炭素原子又はフェニル基にアニオン性基が結合した末端アニオン性界面活性剤、及び疎水基、好ましくはアルキル基の2級炭素原子にアニオン性基が結合した内部アニオン性界面活性剤が挙げられる。
末端アニオン性界面活性剤としては、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸塩(LAS)、α-オレフィンスルホン酸塩、アルキル硫酸エステル塩(AS)、ポリオキシアルキレンアルキルエーテル硫酸塩(AES)、α-スルホ脂肪酸エステル塩、及び脂肪酸塩から選ばれる1種以上のアニオン性界面活性剤が挙げられる。内部アニオン性界面活性剤としては、特開2015-028123の段落0011に記載の、内部オレフィンスルホン酸塩のオレフィン体(IOS)及びヒドロキシ体(HAS)が挙げられる。
洗浄性能の観点から、これらの中でも、LAS、AS、AES、IOS、及びHASから選ばれる1種以上のアニオン性界面活性剤が好ましい。末端アニオン性界面活性剤のアルキル基の炭素数は、好ましくは8以上、より好ましくは10以上、より好ましくは12以上であり、そして、好ましくは18以下、より好ましくは16以下、より好ましくは14以下である。内部アニオン性界面活性剤のアルキル基の炭素数は、好ましくは12以上、より好ましくは14以上、より好ましくは16以上であり、そして、好ましくは24以下、より好ましくは22以下、より好ましくは18以下である。AESが有するオキシアルキレン基は、好ましくはエチレンオキシ基であり、その平均付加モル数は、好ましくは0.5以上、より好ましくは1以上であり、そして、好ましくは10以下、より好ましくは5以下である。
アニオン性界面活性剤の塩は、ナトリウム塩、カリウム塩、及びアンモニウム塩が好ましい。アニオン性界面活性剤を用いることは、洗濯液のヌルつきがあることの観点からより好ましい。
本発明において前記アニオン性界面活性剤は、下記式(13)で表されるASやAESであってもよい。

アニオン性界面活性剤は1種単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
ノニオン性界面活性剤としては、アルキル基等の疎水基と、ポリオキシエチレン基等の非イオン性の親水基とを有するものが挙げられる。前記疎水基としては、洗浄性能の観点から、好ましくは炭化水素基、より好ましくはアルキル基である。前記疎水基の炭素数は、変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水への分散性の向上の点から、前記疎水基の炭素数は、好ましくは8以上、より好ましくは10以上、更に好ましくは12以上、そして、好ましくは18以下、より好ましくは16以下、更に好ましくは14以下である。
洗浄性能の観点から、オキシアルキレン基としては、好ましくはオキシエチレン基、オキシプロピレン基、より好ましくはオキシエチレン基である。オキシアルキレン基の炭素数は、2以上3以下が好ましい。
変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水への分散性の向上の観点から、オキシアルキレン基の平均付加モル数は、好ましくは5以上、より好ましくは6以上、更に好ましくは7以上であり、そして、好ましくは20以下、より好ましくは18以下、更に好ましくは16以下、より更に好ましくは14以下、より更に好ましくは12以下である。
ノニオン性界面活性剤は、1種単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
脂肪族アルカノールアミド系界面活性剤としては、下記式(14)で表される化合物が例示される。
本発明の組成物は、少なくとも変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースと、アニオン性界面活性剤及びノニオン性界面活性剤から選ばれる1種以上とを含有する。
本発明の組成物において、変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの含有量に対するアニオン性界面活性剤及びノニオン性界面活性剤の合計含有量の質量比(アニオン性界面活性剤及びノニオン性界面活性剤の合計含有量/変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの含有量)は、洗浄性能の観点から、好ましくは0.1以上、より好ましくは1以上、更に好ましくは10以上、より更に好ましくは30以上であり、そして、好ましくは2,000以下、より好ましくは1,000以下、更に好ましくは500以下、より更に好ましくは300以下、より更に好ましくは、200以下である。
本発明の組成物は、洗浄剤組成物として使用することが好ましく、本発明の組成物で洗浄することにより、衣類等の表面に変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースが吸着し、汚れが落ちやすくなり、洗浄時の汚れの洗浄性を向上することができると考えられる。従って、次回の洗浄時に、より優れた洗浄性が得られる。
前記汚れとしては、本発明の効果をより発現させる観点から、皮脂汚れ等の油性の汚れが好ましい。
本発明の組成物を洗浄剤組成物として使用する場合、その対象は、本発明の効果をより発現させる観点から、疎水性の表面が好ましい。
本発明の組成物は、衣料用洗浄剤組成物として使用することが好ましい。
本発明の組成物が、例えば衣料用洗浄剤組成物である場合、好ましくは使用時には水等の溶剤で希釈される。本発明の組成物は、その用途によって、使用時に希釈されてもよい。
本発明の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースは、洗浄性能の観点から、衣類等の対象物に対して処理する際の水溶液中の濃度が、好ましくは0.01mg/L以上、より好ましくは0.1mg/L以上、更に好ましくは0.3mg/以上、より更に好ましくは0.5mg/L以上であり、そして、経済性の観点から、好ましくは10,000mg/L以下、より好ましくは1,000mg/L以下、更に好ましくは500mg/以下、より更に好ましくは100mg/L以下である。

[置換度(モル平均置換度(MS))の測定]
・前処理
粉末状の変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロース1gを100gのイオン交換水に溶かした後、水溶液を透析膜(スペクトラポア、分画分子量1,000)に入れ、2日間透析を行った。得られた水溶液を、凍結乾燥機(eyela,FDU1100)を用いて凍結乾燥することで精製した変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースを得た。
精製した変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの200mgを精秤し、硫酸10mLとケルダール錠(Merck)1錠を加え、ケルダール分解装置(BUCHI社、K-432)にて加熱分解を行った。分解終了後、サンプルにイオン交換水30mLを加え、自動ケルダール蒸留装置(BUCHI社、K-370)を用いてサンプルの窒素含量(質量%)を求めることで、カチオン性基の質量を算出した。
以下に、実施例1(炭化水素基の導入剤として、ラウリルグリシジルエーテルを使用)の場合を例に、炭化水素基であるアルキル基質量の算出方法を説明する。なお、他の導入剤を使用した場合も、検量線用の試料(ヨードアルカンや炭化水素基の導入剤など)を適宜選択することによって測定可能である。
精製したセルロース誘導体200mg、アジピン酸220mgを10mLバイアル(マイティーバイアルNo.3)に精秤し、内標溶液(テトラデカン/o-キシレン=1/25(v/v)) 3mL及びヨウ化水素酸3mLを加えて密栓した。また、セルロース誘導体の代わりに1-ヨードドデカンを2、4、又は9mg加えた検量線用の試料を調製した。各試料をスターラーチップにより撹拌しながら、ブロックヒーター(PIERCE社、Reacti-ThermIII Heating/Stirring module)を用いて160℃、2時間の条件で加熱した。試料を放冷した後、上層(o-キシレン層)を回収し、ガスクロマトグラフィー(株式会社島津製作所、GC-2010 plus)にて、1-ヨードドデカン量を分析した。

GCにより得られた1-ヨードドデカンの検出量から、サンプル中のアルキル基の質量を求めた。
ヒドロキシアルキル基由来のヨウ化アルキルを定量することで、前述のアルキル基質量の測定と同様にして行った。
上述のカチオン性基と疎水基(アルキル基)の質量及び全サンプル質量からHEC骨格の質量を計算し、それぞれ物質量(mol)に変換することで、カチオン性基の置換度(MSC)、及び疎水基であるアルキル基の置換度(MSR)を算出した。

ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースとして、Natrosol 250 GR 90gを1Lセパラフラスコに入れ、窒素フローを行った。イオン交換水77.2g、IPA 414.5gを加え、5分間撹拌した後、48%水酸化ナトリウム水溶液10.9gを加え、更に15分間撹拌した。次に、疎水化剤として、LA-EP 4.5gを加え、80℃で5時間疎水化反応を行った。更にカチオン化剤として、GMAC 10.3gを加え、50℃で1.5時間カチオン化反応を行った。その後、90質量%酢酸水溶液10.9gを加え、30分撹拌することで中和反応を行った。
得られた懸濁液を500mLの遠沈管2本に均等に移し替え、高速冷却遠心機(日立工機株式会社、CR21G III)を用いて1,500Gで40秒遠心分離を行った。上澄みをデカンテーションにより取り除き、取り除いた上澄みと同量の85質量%IPA水溶液を加え、再分散を行った。再度、遠心分離と再分散の操作を繰り返し、3回目の遠心分離を行った後に沈殿物を取り出した。得られた沈殿物を真空乾燥機(アドバンテック社、VR-420)を用いて80℃で12時間以上減圧乾燥し、エクストリームミル(ワーリング社、MX-1200XTM)により解砕することで、粉末状の変性ヒドロキシエチルセルロース(M-HEC-1)を得た。
得られたM-HEC-1のカチオン性基の置換度(MSC)は、0.085であり、疎水基(アルキル基)の置換度(MSR)は0.02であった。
使用したヒドロキシアルキルセルロース、疎水化剤、及びカチオン化剤を、表1に示す通りにした以外は、合成例1と同様の操作を行い、粉末状の変性ヒドロキシエチルセルロース(M-HEC-2~M-HEC-10)を得た。
LA-EP 4.5gを、1,2-エポキシテトラデカン 12.8gに代えた以外は、合成例1と同様にして、粉末状の変性ヒドロキシエチルセルロース(M-HEC-11)を得た。
撹拌装置付きフラスコに、1-ヘキサデカノール(製品名:カルコール6098、花王株式会社製)7000gと、触媒としてγ-アルミナ(Strem Chemicals, Inc.製)700gとを仕込み、撹拌下、280℃にて、系内に窒素(7000mL/分)を流通させながら反応を行い、C16オレフィン純度99.6%の粗内部オレフィンを得た。前記粗内部オレフィンを、136~160℃、4.0mmHgで蒸留することで、オレフィン純度100%の炭素数16の内部オレフィンを得た。得られた内部オレフィンの二重結合分布は、C1位2.3%、C2位23.6%、C3位18.9%、C4位17.6%、C5位13.6%、C6位11.4%、C7位、8位の合計が7.4%であった。
前記内部オレフィンを、薄膜式スルホン化反応器に入れ、反応器外部ジャケットに20℃の冷却水を通液する条件下で、SO3ガスを用いてスルホン化反応を行った。反応モル比(SO3/内部オレフィン)のモル比は1.005に設定した。得られたスルホン化物を、理論酸価に対し1.05モル倍に相当する水酸化カリウム水溶液と混合し、30℃で1時間中和した。中和物をオートクレーブ中で170℃、1時間加熱することで加水分解を行い、対スルホン化物1.0質量%の過酸化水素水で脱色し、対スルホン化物0.15質量%の亜硫酸ナトリウムで還元することで、炭素数16の内部オレフィンスルホン酸カリウム(C16IOS)を得た。
C16IOSにおけるヒドロキシ体とオレフィン体との質量比(HAS/IOS)は、84/16であった。C16IOSの固形分中の原料内部オレフィンの含有量は0.5質量%、無機化合物は1.2質量%であった。
〔洗浄性能の評価〕
(1)洗浄評価用の化学繊維の調製
1Lのビーカーに、下記組成の組成物1.2mL、硬度が4°dHである水598.8mL、及び6cm×6cmの正方形にカットしたポリエステル布(「ポリエステルファイユ」、染色試材株式会社製)5枚を投入し、回転方向が10秒ごとに切り替わるように設定されたモーター(新東科学株式会社製「スリーワンモーター」)に撹拌用のプロペラを接続し、200r/minで5分間、ビーカー内を撹拌した。
次に、2槽式洗濯機(株式会社日立製作所製、PS-H45L形)でポリエステル布を1分間脱水した。その後、硬度が4°dHである水600mLを入れた1Lビーカーにポリエステル布を入れ、上記の同様の条件で撹拌を行った。次に前述した2槽式洗濯機でポリエステル布を1分間脱水し、12時間自然乾燥させた。
表2及び表3に示す配合組成にて、本発明の組成物を調製した。各配合量は、固形分換算(有効成分量)である。組成物の合計が100質量部となるように、イオン交換水を配合した。使用した各成分は、以下の通りである。
・変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロース:上記合成例1~11で合成したM-HEC-1~M-HEC-11
・C12ES:ポリオキシエチレン(2)ラウリルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム、花王株式会社製「エマール 270J」
・C12EO10:ポリオキシエチレン(10)ラウリルエーテル(ラウレス-10)
・LAS:ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、花王株式会社製「ネオぺレックス G-65」
・C12AS:ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム、花王株式会社製「エマール 2F ペースト」
・C16IOS:前記合成例12で得られたC16IOS
・コカミドDEA:パーム核油脂肪酸ジエタノールアミド、花王株式会社製「アミノーン PK-02S」
・HEC:Ashland社製「Natrosol 250GR」
・A-HEC:合成例1において、疎水化剤を1,2-エポキシテトラデカン(和光純薬工業株式会社製)11.4gに変更し、カチオン化剤との反応を行わなかった以外は同様にして、作製した。
・C-HEC:合成例1において、GMACの量を7.8gに変更し、疎水化剤との反応を行わなかった以外は同様にして、作製した。
・SL100:ダウ・ケミカル社製「SoftCATTM SL Polymer SL100」
以下のモデル皮脂人工汚染液0.1mLを、前記(1)において調製したポリエステル布(36cm2)に均一に塗布し、室温にて3時間放置し、乾燥させた。
<モデル皮脂人工汚染液>
・オレイン酸:35質量%
・トリオレイン:30質量%
・スクアレン:10質量%
・パルミチン酸2-エチルヘキシル:25質量%
以上の混合物に、0.02質量%のスダンIIIを混合して、モデル皮脂人工汚染液を調製した。
上記(2)で得られた汚染布に対して、上記(1)と同様の操作を行った。
汚染前のポリエステル原布、及び洗浄前後のポリエステル布の460nmにおける反射率を測色色差計(日本電色工業株式会社製「SE-2000」)にて測定し、次式によって洗浄率(%)を求めた。
洗浄率(%)=100×[(洗浄後の反射率-洗浄前の反射率)/(原布の反射率-洗浄前の反射率)]
一方、カチオン性基のみが導入されたヒドロキシアルキルセルロース(C-HEC)、疎水基のみが導入されたヒドロキシアルキルセルロース(A-HEC)、疎水基を有するカチオン性基が導入されたSoftcatでは、十分な洗浄性能が得られなかった。
アニオン性界面活性剤、ノニオン性界面活性剤を単独で使用した場合に比して、両者を併用した場合に、高い洗浄性能が得られた。
アミド系ノニオン性界面活性剤であるコカミドDEAを使用した場合に対し、使用しない場合の方が、高い洗浄性能が得られた。
Claims (9)
- 式(1)で表される疎水基が、下記式(1-1-1)で表される疎水基、式(1-1-2)で表される疎水基、式(1-2-1)で表される疎水基、式(1-2-2)で表される疎水基、式(1-3)で表される疎水基、及び式(1-4)で表される疎水基から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
(式(1-1-1)~式(1-4)中、R11及びR12はそれぞれ独立に、炭素数2~4のアルキレン基を示し、R1は式(1)におけるR1と同義であり、*はヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの水酸基から水素原子を除いた基との結合位置を示し、n1は-R11O-の付加モル数を示し、n2は-R12-O-の付加モル数を示し、n1及びn2は0以上30以下の整数である。) - カチオン性基が、第4級アンモニウムカチオンを含む、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- アニオン性界面活性剤及びノニオン性界面活性剤を含有する、請求項1~4のいずれかに組成物。
- ノニオン性界面活性剤であるアミド系ノニオン性界面活性剤の含有量が、変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロース1質量部に対し、5質量部以下である、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースにおけるカチオン性基の置換度が、0.001以上1以下である、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 変性ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースにおける式(1)で表される疎水基の置換度が、0.0001以上1以下である、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- ヒドロキシアルキルセルロースの重量平均分子量が1,000以上3,000,000以下である、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の組成物。
