 近年、生産効率の向上のために、繊維の送り速度が3000~8000m/分と極めて高速化してきている。そこで、オイリングンノズルには、糸へのダメージを少なくするために、糸へのオイルの適量供給を維持しつつ、糸との接触面積が少ないオイリングノズルが求められている。
 本開示のオイリングノズルについて、図面を参照しながら、以下に詳細に説明する。
 本開示のオイリングノズル10は、図1および図2に示すように、第1壁1と第2壁2とに挟まれ、第1端3から第2端4に向かって糸5を案内する案内溝6と、案内溝6の底7に開口するオイル吐出孔8とを備える。
 ここで、本開示のオイリングノズル10における糸5の案内について、図2を用いて説明する。糸5は、図2に示す第1端3のある右側から送られ、第2端4のある左側へ向かって案内される。このとき、糸5は、オイル供給路12に連通したオイル吐出孔8より噴出されたオイルが供給される。また、糸5に供給されたオイルの一部は、第2端4のある左側へ進む糸5とともに移動する。

 このように、本開示のオイリングノズル10は、凹部11を有する突起部9を備えていることから、糸5へのオイルの適量供給を維持しつつ、糸5との接触面積が少ないことから、糸5へのダメージが少なくなる。
 なお、図2、図3では、突起部9の個数が4個である場合を示しているが、突起部9の個数は1個以上であればよく、2個、3個あるいは5個以上であってもよいことは言うまでもない。
 また、本開示のオイリングノズル10における突起部9は、第1壁1および第2壁2の少なくとも一方から離れた位置から突出していてもよい。言い換えるならば、本開示のオイリングノズル10における突起部9は、第1壁1および第2壁2の少なくとも一方と接触していなくてもよい。このような構成を満足するならば、突起部9の凹部11に溜まった過剰なオイルが、第1壁1または第2壁2と突起部9との間から流れ出ることによって、糸5への過剰なオイル付着を抑制でき、糸5へのオイルの適量供給が図れる。例えば、第1壁1および第2壁2の両方に接触している図3に示す突起部9aよりも、第1壁1および第2壁2の両方に接触していない図4に示す突起部9bの方が、凹部11に溜まった過剰なオイルが流れ出ていきやすい。

 また、本開示のオイリングノズル10における突起部9は、案内溝6に流体を流したときに、流体の流れが蛇行するように複数位置していてもよい。このような構成を満足するならば、流体であるオイルが蛇行するように、第1端3側から第2端4側に向かって流れていくことから、隣り合う突起部9において、第1端3側の突起部9の凹部11から溢れ出たオイルが、第2端4側の突起部9の凹部11に流れ込みやすくなり、無駄となるオイル量を少なくすることができる。

 また、本開示のオイリングノズル10は、図9に示すように、突起部9を糸道上に沿って複数有し、隣り合う突起部9において、第1端3側の突起部9の高さは、第2端4側の突起部9の高さよりも高くてもよい。ここで、突起部9の高さとは、突起部9の糸道上に沿った断面において、案内溝6の底7から、突起部9の頂点を通る糸道に平行な仮想線までの最大高さのことである。

 また、本開示のオイリングノズル10において、少なくとも1つの突起部9は、図11に示すように、突起部9の糸道上に沿った断面において、第2端側コーナー14の曲率半径が、第1端側コーナー15の曲率半径よりも大きくてもよい。このような構成を満足するならば、糸5へオイルを安定して付着させることができるとともに、糸5が突起部9から離れる際に、糸5が跳ねることを抑制でき、糸5を円滑に摺動させることができることから、糸5へのダメージがより少なくなる。
 なお、第2端側コーナー14の曲率半径は、例えば、0.3mm以上0.8mm以下であってもよい。また、第1端側コーナー15の曲率半径は、例えば、0.2mm以上0.5mm以下であってもよい。
 ここで、突起部9の第2端側コーナー14および第1端側コーナー15の曲率半径の測定は、突起部9の糸道上に沿った断面を測定面とし、この測定面を光学顕微鏡を用いて10倍以上100倍以下の倍率で撮影し、その写真から算出すればよい。
 また、本開示のオイリングノズル10は、どのような材料で構成されていても構わないが、セラミックスからなるならば、金属または樹脂からなる場合と比較して、糸5と接触する際に摩擦熱が発生しにくいものとなる。これにより、発生した摩擦熱により糸5にダメージを与えるおそれが少なくなる。ここで、セラミックスとしては、例えば、アルミナ質セラミックス、ジルコニア質セラミックス、チタニア質セラミックス、炭化珪素質セラミックス、窒化珪素質セラミックス、またはこれらの複合物等が挙げられる。
 特に、セラミックスの中でもアルミナ質セラミックスは安価な材料であるため、本開示のオイリングノズル10をアルミナ質セラミックスで製造すれば、コストを抑えることができる。ここで、アルミナ質セラミックスとは、セラミックスを構成する全成分100質量%のうち、アルミナが80質量%以上占めるものである。
 なお、オイリングノズル10の材質は、以下の方法で確認すればよい。まず、X線回折装置(XRD)を用いて、オイリングノズル10を測定し、得られた2θ(2θは、回折角度である。)の値よりJCPDSカードを用いて同定を行なう。次に、蛍光X線分析装置(XRF)を用いて、含有成分の定量分析を行なう。そして、例えば、XRDによる同定によりアルミナの存在が確認され、XRFで測定したAlの含有量からアルミナ(Al23)に換算した含有量が80質量%以上であれば、アルミナ質セラミックスである。
 次に、本開示のオイリングノズル10の製造方法の一例を説明する。なお、ここでは、オイリングノズル10がセラミックスからなる場合を例に挙げて説明する。
 まず、主原料としてのアルミナ、ジルコニア、チタニア、炭化珪素、窒化珪素、またはこれらの複合物の各粉末と焼結助剤とが所定の割合になるように混合し、混合原料を得る。次に、この混合原料と溶媒とを、ボールとともにボールミルに入れて、所定の粒度まで粉砕してスラリーを得る。
 次に、得られたスラリーにバインダーを添加した後、スプレードライヤーを用いて、噴霧乾燥して顆粒を得る。次に、この顆粒をメカプレスに投入して、圧力を加えて成形体にした後、この成形体に切削加工等を施すことによって、突起部9を有するオイリングノズル形状の成形体とする。
 または、上記スラリーをスプレードライヤーにて噴霧乾燥後にバインダーを添加し、ニーダにて混練して得たペレットを用いて、インジェクション成形で成形体を得ても構わない。この場合は、インジェクション成形において、突起部9を有するオイリングノズル形状の成形体となる金型を用いればよい。
 そして、得られたオイリングノズル形状の成形体を、例えば、アルミナ粉末が主成分の場合には、大気雰囲気中で最高温度を1450℃以上1750℃以下とし、この最高温度での保持時間を1時間以上8時間以下として焼成することで、本開示のオイリングノズル10を得ることができる。

Claims (9)

  1.  第1壁と第2壁とに挟まれ、第1端から第2端に向かって糸を案内する案内溝と、該案内溝の底に開口するオイル吐出孔とを備え、
    前記案内溝は、前記オイル吐出孔よりも前記第2端に近い位置の糸道上に、前記底よりも突出した突起部を有し、
    該突起部は、平面視において前記糸の進行方向に窪んだ凹部を有している、オイリングノズル。
  2.  前記突起部は、前記第1壁および前記第2壁の少なくとも一方から離れた位置から突出している、請求項1に記載のオイリングノズル。
  3.  前記突起部は、平面視における全体形状が、前記凹部に沿った形状である、請求項1または請求項2に記載のオイリングノズル。
  4.  前記突起部が、前記案内溝に流体を流したときに、該流体の流れが蛇行するように複数位置している、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載のオイリングノズル。
  5.  前記案内溝の底の幅は、前記第1端から前記第2端にかけて、連続的に狭くなる、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載のオイリングノズル。
  6.  前記突起部を前記糸道上に沿って複数有し、隣り合う前記突起部において、前記第1端側の前記突起部の高さは、前記第2端側の前記突起部の高さよりも高い、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載のオイリングノズル。
  7.  少なくとも1つの前記突起部の頂部は、該突起部の前記糸道上に沿った断面において、曲率半径が0.3mm以上0.8mm以下である円弧状である、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれかに記載のオイリングノズル。
  8.  少なくとも1つの前記突起部の頂点は、前記突起部の前記糸道上に沿った断面において、前記突起部における最下部の前記糸道に沿った方向の長さの中心よりも前記第1端側に位置している、請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれかに記載のオイリングノズル。
  9.  少なくとも1つの前記突起部は、該突起部の前記糸道上に沿った断面において、前記第2端側コーナーの曲率半径が、前記第1端側コーナーの曲率半径よりも大きい、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれかに記載のオイリングノズル。
