Description
본 출원은 2017년 08월 18일자 한국 특허 출원 제10-2017-0104788호에 기초한 우선권의 이익을 주장하며, 해당 한국 특허 출원의 문헌에 개시된 모든 내용은 본 명세서의 일부로서 포함된다.
본 발명은 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치 및 감지 방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로는, 배터리팩 내의 냉각(방열)을 위해 공급되는 냉각수의 파이프 손상 시 발생될 수 있는 냉각수 누액을 감지함에 있어서, 자이로센서를 이용하여 배터리팩의 기울기에 따른 누액 발생 위치를 파악하고, 수분 감지 센서를 이용하여 해당 영역의 상하측 온도 차이를 토대로 누액 발생 여부를 판단함으로써 배터리팩의 기울기 및 위치에 따른 누액 감지의 정확도를 높일 수 있고, 특히 누액 발생의 감지가 필요한 영역에 대해서만 수분 감지 센서를 온 동작시킴으로써 불필요한 에너지 소비를 방지할 수 있도록 하는 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치 및 감지 방법에 관한 것이다.
최근에는 내연기관의 사용을 줄이고 친환경적인 전기 에너지를 이용하기 위하여 대용량의 배터리를 장착한 차량들이 출시되고 있다.
이러한 차량용 배터리는 내부에 다수의 배터리팩으로 형성되게 되는데, 배터리팩은 다량의 열을 방출함에 따라 이러한 배터리팩을 냉각시키기 위한 방열 수단으로써, 현재는 냉각수 파이프를 통해 냉각수의 흐름을 유도함으로써 배터리팩으로부터 방출되는 열을 냉각시키고 있다.
이때, 냉각수 파이프의 손상 시, 냉각수가 배터리팩 내부로 누액되면서 냉각수에 의한 전기적 쇼트가 발생될 수 있지만, 현재로서는 이러한 냉각수의 누액 혹은 누액 위치를 직접적으로 감지할 수 있는 여건이 마련되어 있지 않은 실정이다.
이에 본 발명자는 상술한 종래의 배터리팩에서 발생될 수 있는 냉각수 누액에 따른 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 자이로센서를 이용하여 배터리팩의 기울기에 따른 누액 발생 위치를 파악하고, 수분 감지 센서를 이용하여 해당 영역의 상하측 온도 차이를 토대로 누액 발생 여부를 판단함으로써 배터리팩의 기울기 및 위치에 따른 누액 감지의 정확도를 높일 수 있고, 특히 누액 발생의 감지가 필요한 영역에 대해서만 수분 감지 센서를 온 동작시킴으로써 불필요한 에너지 소비를 방지할 수 있도록 하는 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치 및 감지 방법을 개발하기에 이르렀다.
본 발명은 상술된 문제점을 해결하기 위해 도출된 것으로서, 자이로센서를 이용하여 배터리팩의 기울기에 따른 누액 발생 위치를 파악하고, 수분 감지 센서를 이용하여 해당 영역의 상하측 온도 차이를 토대로 누액 발생 여부를 판단함으로써 배터리팩의 기울기 및 위치에 따른 누액 감지의 정확도를 높일 수 있고, 특히 누액 발생의 감지가 필요한 영역에 대해서만 수분 감지 센서를 온 동작시킴으로써 불필요한 에너지 소비를 방지할 수 있도록 하는 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치 및 감지 방법 을 제공하고자 한다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치는 차량 내 배터리팩의 기울기를 감지하는 기울기 감지센서부, 상기 배터리팩 내의 상측부 및 하측부의 수분을 감지하는 수분 감지센서부 및 상기 기울기 감지센서부 및 상기 수분 감지센서부로부터 각각 기울기 감지 결과값 및 수분 감지 결과값을 획득한 후, 상기 기울기 감지 결과값 및 상기 수분 감지 결과값을 토대로 상기 배터리팩의 상황 별 누액 여부를 판단하는 누액 판단부를 포함할 수 있다.
일 실시예에서, 상기 기울기 감지센서부는 상기 배터리팩의 기울기 및 뒤집힘 여부를 감지하는 자이로센서인 것을 특징으로 할 수 있다.

본 발명의 일 측면에 따르면, 배터리팩 내의 냉각(방열)을 위해 공급되는 냉각수의 파이프 손상 시 발생될 수 있는 냉각수 누액을 감지함에 있어서, 자이로센서를 이용하여 배터리팩의 기울기에 따른 누액 발생 위치를 파악하고, 수분 감지 센서를 이용하여 해당 영역의 상하측 온도 차이를 토대로 누액 발생 여부를 판단함으로써 배터리팩의 기울기 및 위치에 따른 누액 감지의 정확도를 높일 수 있고, 특히 누액 발생의 감지가 필요한 영역에 대해서만 수분 감지 센서를 온 동작시킴으로써 불필요한 에너지 소비를 방지할 수 있는 이점을 가진다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치(100)의 구성을 개략적으로 도시한 도면이다.
도 2는 도 1에 도시된 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치(100)를 이용하여 배터리팩(2)의 각 상태에 따라 누액 여부를 감지하는 과정을 도시한 도면이다.
도 3은 도 1에 도시된 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치(100)를 이용하여 배터리팩(2)의 누액 여부를 감지하는 과정을 일련의 순서대로 도시한 순서도이다.
이하, 본 발명의 이해를 돕기 위하여 바람직한 실시예를 제시한다. 그러나 하기의 실시예는 본 발명을 보다 쉽게 이해하기 위하여 제공되는 것일 뿐, 실시예에 의해 본 발명의 내용이 한정되는 것은 아니다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치(100)의 구성을 개략적으로 도시한 도면이고, 도 2는 도 1에 도시된 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치(100)를 이용하여 배터리팩(2)의 각 상태에 따라 누액 여부를 감지하는 과정을 도시한 도면이다.
도 1 및 도 2를 살펴보면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치(100)는 크게 기울기 감지센서부(110), 수분 감지센서부(120) 및 누액 판단부(130)를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
먼저, 기울기 감지센서부(110)는 차량(1) 내 배터리팩(2)의 기울기를 감지하는 역할을 할 수 있는데, 예컨데 배터리팩(2)의 각 방향에 대한 기울기 및 뒤집힘 여부를 감지하는 역할을 할 수 있다.
도 2를 살펴보면, 차량(1)이 기울어짐에 따라 배터리팩(2)도 함께 기울어지거나 뒤집히게 되는데, 기울기 감지센서부(110)는 이러한 기울기 및 뒤집힘 여부를 감지하는 자이로센서로 마련됨에 따라, 배터리팩(2)이 평지 상태에 위치한다거나, 경사 상태에 위치한다거나, 차량이 뒤집힘에 따라 배터리팩(2)도 함께 뒤집힌 상태에 위치하는 등을 판단하는 역할을 할 수 있다.
이러한 기울기 감지센서부(110)는 감지된 기울기 감지 결과값을 후술되는 누액 판단부(130)에 제공함으로써, 누액 판단부(130)를 통해 해당 기울어진 방향에 위치되는 수분 감지센서부(120)만을 온동작 시키도록 할 수 있다.
예컨데, 차량(1)이 좌측으로 45도 각도로 기울어지는 경우, 기울기 감지센서부(110)는 현재 차량(1) 및 배터리팩(2)이 좌측으로 45도 각도로 기울어졌음에 대한 기울기 감지 결과값을 후술되는 누액 판단부(130)에 제공하게 되고, 누액 판단부(130)에서는 배터리팩(2)의 좌측에 위치되는 수분 감지센서부(120)만을 온동작 시킬 수 있게 된다.
다음으로, 수분 감지센서부(120)는 배터리팩(2) 내의 수분을 감지하는 역할을 할 수 있으며, 특히 배터리팩(2) 내의 상측부 및 하측부에 각각 다수 개로 마련됨에 따라, 배터리팩(2)이 평지 상태에 위치하거나, 어느 방향으로 기울어지거나, 상하가 뒤집히는 경우, 배터리팩(2)의 하부, 좌측, 우측, 상측 등과 같이 기울기와 관련된 영역의 누액에 따른 수분을 감지할 수 있다.
보다 구체적으로, 수분 감지센서부(120)는 배터리팩(2) 내의 상측부 및 하측부 각각에 마련됨에 따라, 배터리팩(2) 내의 상측부 및 하측부 각각의 온도 차이를 판단하게 되는데, 예컨데 배터리팩(2) 내의 하측부에 누액이 발생되는 경우에는 해당 영역에 위치되는 수분 감지센서부(120)와 상측부에 위치되는 수분 감지센서부(120) 간에는 온도차이가 발생하게 되고, 수분 감지센서부(120)에서는 이러한 온도차이에 대한 수분 감지 결과값을 후술되는 누액 판단부(130)에 제공함으로써, 누액 판단부(130)를 통해 현재 배터리팩(2) 내의 하부에 누액이 발생되었음을 판단할 수 있게 된다.
도 2를 살펴보면, 차량(1)이 평지에 위치함에 따라 배터리팩(2)이 평평한 상태를 유지하는 경우에는, 배터리팩(2) 내에 위치한 다수 개의 수분 감지센서부(120) 중 하측부에 위치한 수분 감지센서부(120)가 온 동작하면서 배터리팩(2)의 상측부와 하측부 간의 온도 차이를 판단하게 되고, 차량(2)이 경사로에 위치함에 따라 배터리팩(2)이 일측방향(예컨데, 좌측 45도 방향 혹은 후방 45도 방향)으로 위치하는 경우에는, 배터리팩(2) 내에 위치한 다수 개의 수분 감지센서부(120) 중에서 좌측 혹은 후방의 하측부에 위치하는 수분 감지센서부(120)가 온 동작하면서 배터리팩(2)이 기울어진 영역에 대한 상측부 및 하측부 간의 온도차이에 대한 수분 감지결과값을 후술되는 누액 판단부(130)에 제공함으로써, 누액 판단부(130)를 통해 현재 배터리팩(2) 내의 기울어진 영역에 누액이 발생되었음을 판단할수 있게 된다.
이러한 점은, 누액이 발생한 부분에서 수분 감지가 필요한 상황에 대해서만 수분 감지센서부(120)를 가동하기 위한 구성에 해당하고, 이러한 점을 통해 불필요한 수분 감지센서부(120)의 동작을 방지하여 불필요한 전력소모를 방지할 수 있게 된다.
다음으로, 누액 판단부(130)는 상술한 기울기 감지센서부(110)로부터 기울기 감지 결과값을 획득하고, 수분 감지센서부(120)로부터 수분 감지 결과값을 획득한 후, 이를 토대로 배터리팩(2)의 상황 별(예컨데, 배터리팩(2)의 기울어진 상태) 누액 여부를 판단하는 역할을 할 수 있다.
예를 들어, 차량(1) 및 배터리팩(2)이 좌측 혹은 후방으로 45도 각도로 기울어진 경우, 누액 판단부(130)는 이에 대한 기울기 감지 결과값을 토대로 해당 영역에 위치하는 하측의 수분 감지센서부(120) 만을 온 동작시킴으로써 해당 영역에 대한 누액 여부를 감지 및 판단하게 되고, 만약 차량(1) 및 배터리팩(2)이 우측 혹은 전방으로 45도 각도로 기울어진 경우, 누액 판단부(130)에서는 이에 대한 기울기 감지 결과값을 토대로 해당 영역에 위치하는 하측의 수분 감지센서부(120) 만을 온 동작시킴으로써 해당 영역에 대한 누액 여부를 감지 및 판단하게 된다.
다음으로는, 도 3을 통해 이러한 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치(100)를 이용하여 배터리팩(2)의 누액 여부를 감지하는 과정을 살펴보기로 한다.
도 3은 도 1에 도시된 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치(100)를 이용하여 배터리팩(2)의 누액 여부를 감지하는 과정을 일련의 순서대로 도시한 순서도이다.
도 3을 살펴보면, 먼저 기울기 감지센서부(110)를 통해 차량 내 배터리팩(2)의 기울기를 감지하고(S301), 수분 감지센서부(120)를 통해 배터리팩(2) 내의 수분을 감지하게 된다(S302).
상기 단계 S031 및 단계 S302 별로 각각 기울기 감지 결과값 및 수분 감지 결과값을 누액 판단부(130)에 제공하게 되는데(S303), 누액 판단부(130)에서는 이러한 기울기 감지 결과값 및 수분 감지 결과값을 토대로 배터리팩(2)의 상황 별 누액 여부를 판단하게 된다(S304).
상기에서는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 참조하여 설명하였지만, 해당 기술 분야의 숙련된 당업자는 하기의 특허 청구의 범위에 기재된 본 발명의 사상 및 영역으로부터 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 본 발명을 다양하게 수정 및 변경시킬 수 있음을 이해할 수 있을 것이다.
Claims (10)
- 차량 내 배터리팩의 기울기를 감지하는 기울기 감지센서부;상기 배터리팩 내의 상측부 및 하측부의 수분을 감지하는 수분 감지센서부; 및상기 기울기 감지센서부 및 상기 수분 감지센서부로부터 각각 기울기 감지 결과값 및 수분 감지 결과값을 획득한 후, 상기 기울기 감지 결과값 및 상기 수분 감지 결과값을 토대로 상기 배터리팩의 상황 별 누액 여부를 판단하는 누액 판단부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 기울기 감지센서부는,상기 배터리팩의 기울기 및 뒤집힘 여부를 감지하는 자이로센서;인 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 수분 감지센서부는,상기 상측부 및 하측부에 누액되는 냉각액에 의한 온도차이를 토대로 수분을 감지하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 배터리팩에 대한 일측 방향으로의 기울기가 발생되는 경우,상기 기울기 감제선서부는 해당 기울기에 대한 기울기 감지 결과값을 상기 누액 판단부에 전송하고, 상기 누액 판단부는 해당 기울어진 방향에 위치하는 상측부 및 하측부에 위치한 수분 감지센서부를 온동작시킴으로써 수분 감지 결과값을 획득하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 수분 감지 센서부는,상기 배터리팩 내의 상측부 및 하측부에 각각 다수 개로 마련되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치.
- 기울기 감지센서부를 통해 차량 내 배터리팩의 기울기를 감지하는 단계;수분 감지센서부를 통해 상기 배터리팩 내의 상측부 및 하측부의 수분을 감지하는 단계; 및누액 판단부를 통해 상기 기울기 감지센서부 및 상기 수분 감지센서부로부터 각각 기울기 감지 결과값 및 수분 감지 결과값을 획득한 후, 상기 기울기 감지 결과값 및 상기 수분 감지 결과값을 토대로 상기 배터리팩의 상황 별 누액 여부를 판단하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 기울기 감지센서부는,상기 배터리팩의 기울기 및 뒤집힘 여부를 감지하는 자이로센서;인 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 수분 감지센서부는,상기 상측부 및 하측부에 누액되는 냉각액에 의한 온도차이를 토대로 수분을 감지하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 배터리팩에 대한 일측 방향으로의 기울기가 발생되는 경우,상기 기울기 감제선서부는 해당 기울기에 대한 기울기 감지 결과값을 상기 누액 판단부에 전송하고, 상기 누액 판단부는 해당 기울어진 방향에 위치하는 상측부 및 하측부에 위치한 수분 감지센서부를 온동작시킴으로써 수분 감지 결과값을 획득하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 수분 감지 센서부는,상기 배터리팩 내의 상측부 및 하측부에 각각 다수 개로 마련되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 자이로센서 및 수분감지센서를 이용한 배터리팩 내 누액 감지 방법.
