- a stent or a catheter may be artificially expanded. ) Can be used.
- bile ducts are used as a movement path of bile, a digestive enzyme produced from the liver, when narrowing occurs, the diameter of the bile duct becomes narrower, and bile may not be discharged smoothly.
- the catheter may be inserted into the narrowed biliary tract to widen the biliary tract so that bile is smoothly discharged, thereby preventing backflow of food or fluid.
- the biliary tract 40 may connect between the liver 10, the gallbladder 20, and the pancreas 30, and the biliary tract 40 has a branch branched in a Y-shape in the biliary tract 40. Installation of the catheter can be difficult, especially at such branched points.
- Prior art Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2012-0035978 describes the installation of the stent at the branched point of the biliary tract 40 as described above, and in the case of the prior document, the first branch pipe and the first Stents were sequentially installed in two branch tubes.
