本発明の組成物(以下、組成物α、と記載することがある)は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物(以下、成分βと記載することがある)を含んで成る。

で表される基である。式中、a、b、c、d、e及びfは、それぞれ独立して0以上200以下の整数であって、a、b、c、d、e及びfの和は少なくとも1である。好ましくは、a、b、c、d、e及びfは、それぞれ独立して、0以上100以下の整数である。好ましくは、a、b、c、d、e及びfの和は5以上であり、より好ましくは10以上、例えば10以上100以下である。a、b、c、d、e又はfを付して括弧でくくられた各繰り返し単位の存在順序は式中において任意である。
-(OC6F12)a-(OC5F10)b-(OC4F8)c-(OC3F6)d-(OC2F4)e-(OCF2)f-
で表される基であり、かつ、PFPE中に少なくとも1の分岐構造を有し得る。すなわち、本態様において、上記PFPEは、少なくとも1のCF3末端(具体的には、-CF3、-C2F5等、より具体的には-CF3)を有する。
イソシアネート基(-NCO基)を有する化合物(化合物(a))は、1種で用いてもよく、又は複数を組み合わせて用いてもよい。すなわち、化合物(a)は、1種又は2種以上の化合物(a)を含む組成物(以下、組成物(A)と記載することがある)として用いることができる。
活性水素を有する化合物を含む組成物(以下、組成物(B)と記載することがある)について説明する。
(b1)活性水素とパーフルオロポリエーテル基とを有する化合物、及び
(b2)活性水素と炭素-炭素二重結合とを含むモノマー、
を含むことが好ましい。組成物(B)は、さらに(b3)他の活性水素を有する化合物を含むことがより好ましい。
化合物(b1)は、1種を用いてもよく、又は複数を組み合わせて用いてもよい。化合物(b1)は、活性水素とパーフルオロポリエーテル基とを含む化合物であり、例えば、パーフルオロポリエーテル基に加えて、1つの分子末端に1つの活性水素を含有する基、例えば水酸基を有する化合物であり得る。化合物(b1)は、活性水素とパーフルオロポリエーテル基とを含む化合物であり、例えば、パーフルオロポリエーテル基に加えて、2つの分子末端のそれぞれに1つの活性水素を含有する基、例えば水酸基を有する化合物であり得る。化合部(b1)は、より好ましくは、パーフルオロポリエーテル基に加えて、1つの分子末端に1つの活性水素を含有する基、例えば水酸基を有する化合物である。パーフルオロポリエーテル基については上記したため、重複する記載は省略する。

で表される少なくとも1種の化合物であり得る。ここで、PFPEは、上記したとおりである。

で表される基である。この式中、Yは二価の極性基である。この二価の極性基の例としては、特に限定されないが、-COO-、-OCO-、-CONH-、-OCH2CH(OH)CH2-、-CH2CH(OH)CH2O-、-COS-、-SCO-、-O-、等が挙げられ、好ましくは-COO-、-CONH-、-CH2CH(OH)CH2O-、-O-である。またこの式中、f’、g及びhは、それぞれ独立して、0~50、好ましくは0~20、例えば1~20の整数であって、f’、g及びhの和は少なくとも1、好ましくは1~10である。f’、g及びhは0~2の整数であることが一層好ましく、f’=0又は1、g=2、h=0又は1であることがより一層好ましい。また、添字f’、g及びhを付して括弧でくくられた各繰り返し単位の存在順序は、式中において任意である。
化合物(b2)は、1種又は複数を組み合わせて用いてもよい。活性水素と炭素-炭素二重結合を有するモノマー(b2)は、活性水素、特に水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステル又はビニルモノマーであることが好ましい。モノマー(b2)の具体例としては、

化合物(b3)は、1種又は2種以上で用いてもよい。他の活性水素を有する化合物(b3)は、パーフルオルオロポリエーテル基及び炭素-炭素二重結合の両方を有さず、少なくとも1つの活性水素を有する化合物であることが好ましい。化合物(b3)は、1つの分子末端に1つの活性水素含有基、例えば水酸基を有するか、あるいは2つの末端のそれぞれに1つの活性水素含有基、例えば水酸基を有する化合物であり得る。成分βの分子量をさらに抑制する観点からは、化合物(b3)は、1つの分子末端に1つの活性水素含有基、例えば水酸基を有する化合物であることがより好ましい。
炭素数1~16の直鎖状あるいは分枝鎖状炭化水素からなる1価のアルコール、

M2/M1≦3.5

を満たす。具体的には、図1に示されるように、M1はメインピークを与える分子量である。M2は、上記M1よりも高い分子量であって、M1のピーク強度h1の25%の強度h2を示す分子量である。尚、メインピークの強度h1の25%の強度を示す分子量が、メインピークよりも高分子量側に複数存在する場合、M2は、これらのうち最も高い分子量である。本発明において、M2とM1との比M2/M1は、3.5以下であり、好ましくは3.3以下、より好ましくは3.0以下、特に好ましくは2.5以下である。即ち、本発明の硬化性組成物では、高い分子量を有する化合物の含有量が抑制されている。組成物αが上記のようなM2/M1を有することによって、組成物αは、白濁の生じにくい表面処理層の形成に寄与する。

を満たす。具体的には、図1に示されるように、M1はメインピークを与える分子量である。M3は、上記M1よりも低い分子量であって、M1のピーク強度h1の25%の強度h3を示す分子量である。尚、メインピークの強度h1の25%の強度を示す分子量が、メインピークよりも低分子量側に複数存在する場合、M3は、これらのうち最も低い分子量である。本態様において、M3とM1との比M3/M1は、より好ましくは0.50以上である。即ち、本態様の組成物αでは、高い分子量を有する化合物だけでなく、低い分子量を有する化合物の含有量も抑制されている。このような組成物αでは高分子量側の化合物及び低分子量側の化合物の含有率が抑制されており、組成物αは、白濁やハジキの生じにくい表面処理層の形成に寄与でき、組成物αを希釈する溶剤との相溶性が良好になり得る。
本発明の硬化性組成物は、組成物αを含んで成る。組成物αについては、上記のとおりである。即ち、組成物αは、硬化性組成物の製造用組成物でもあり得る。

以下に、本発明の硬化性組成物の製造に適した方法について説明する。
パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物(成分β)を含む反応組成物を形成する工程I、を含む。成分βは、イソシアネート基を有する化合物(a)を含む組成物(組成物(A))及び活性水素を有する化合物を含む組成物(組成物(B))を混合し、化合物(a)及び活性水素を有する化合物を反応させて生成され得る。組成物αは、上記化合物(a)並びに上記化合物(b1)及び化合物(b2)を反応させることによって製造することが好ましい。組成物αは、上記化合物(a)と、上記化合物(b1)~(b3)を反応させることによって製造してもよい。
パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物(成分β)並びに(C)ラジカル反応性基を有しない有機溶剤を含む反応組成物が形成される工程I、及び
工程Iで得られた反応性組成物と、硬化性樹脂及び/又は硬化性モノマーとを含む混合物から、前記有機溶剤を除去する工程II’を含む。
イソシアネート基を有する化合物(化合物(a))を含む組成物(A)及び活性水素を有する化合物を含む組成物(B)を反応させ、パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物を含む反応組成物を形成する工程を含み、

本発明の物品は、基材と、この基材の表面に本発明の硬化性組成物(以下、本発明の組成物又は硬化性組成物を合わせて、「表面処理剤」ともいう)を用いて形成された層(即ち、表面処理層)とを含む。本発明の硬化性組成物は、そのまま用いてもよく、他の硬化性材料と混合して用いてもよい。例えば、本発明の表面処理剤をカラーフィルター用ブラックマトリックスレジストや有機EL色素隔壁レジストに添加して、ガラス基板等の基板に表面処理層を形成することにより、これらの基板の表面に撥液性を付与することができる。
〔Si-H化合物〕
Si-Cl化合物:
[式中、Ra、Rb、RcおよびRdは、それぞれ独立して、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~10のアルコキシル基、炭素数1~10のアミノ基、炭素数1~10のアルキル基、炭素数6~10のアリール基、炭素数3~10のアリル基、または炭素数3~10のグリシジル基である。Reは、それぞれ独立して、-O-、-NH-、-C≡C-、または、シラン結合である。s、t、uおよびvは、それぞれ独立して、0または1であり、wは0~4の整数であり、xは1~20である。xが1である場合、s+t+u+vは4であり、wは0である。xが2~20である場合、s+t+u+vは、それぞれ独立して、0~4であり、wは、それぞれ独立して、0~4であり、wが1以上の整数である場合、少なくとも2個のSiはReを介して、直鎖、梯子型、環状、または複環状に結合している。)で表される化合物であることがより好ましい。Ra、Rb、Rc、およびRdは、Siに結合している1価の基である。Reは、2個のSiに結合している2価の基である。
合成例1~4においては、TV-10型粘度計(東機産業株式会社製)を用いて25℃における組成物の粘度の値(mPa・s)を測定した。合成例5および6においては、振動式粘度計SV-10((株)エー・アンド・デイ製)を用いて25℃における組成物の粘度の値(mPa・s)を測定した。
組成物中のスズ原子の含有量は、原子吸光度計((株)日立製作所製のZ8000)を用いて定量した。
静的接触角及び転落角は、全自動接触角計DropMaster700(協和界面科学製)を用いて次の方法で測定した。
静的接触角は、硬化膜を形成された基板を水平に置き、この基板上にマイクロシリンジから水1μL又はn-ヘキサデカンを2μL滴下し、滴下1秒後の静止画をビデオマイクロスコープで撮影することにより求めた。
また、転落角は以下の方法で求めた。硬化膜が形成された基板を水平に置き、この基板上にマイクロシリンジから、水20μL又はn-ヘキサデカン20μLを滴下し、基板を毎秒2°の速度で傾斜させ、液滴が転落し始めるまでを、ビデオマイクロスコープで動画として記録した。その動画を再生し、液滴が転落し始めた角度を転落角とした。基材を90°に傾斜させても液滴が転落しなかった場合は、「転落せず」と判断した。
以下のカラムを配管した装置を使用して、GPC分析により実施例で得られた組成物又は比較例で得られた組成物の数平均分子量(Mn)、重量平均分子量(Mw)、及び分子量分布(Mw/Mn)を測定し、分子量分布曲線を得た。測定用の溶液としては、合成例1~4では各合成例で得られた組成物を用い、合成例5および6では得られた組成物Xが0.5mass%となるようにHFE7200を用いて調製した溶液を用いた。測定直前に0.2μmのPTFEフィルターを用いて上記溶液中のコンタミネーションを除去してから測定した。

反応器に、組成物(A-1)14.1gをゼオローラH(日本ゼオン社製)76gに溶解させ、ジブチルスズジラウレート10mgを加えた。この溶液を40~45℃に加温し、撹拌しながら、20gの組成物(B-1)をゼオローラH20gに溶かした溶液を滴下し、組成物Xを形成した。反応液にヒドロキシエチルアクリレート9.2gを滴下し撹拌した。反応の終点は、IR法によってNCOの吸収が完全に消失した所とした。
合成例1の20gの組成物(B-1)を、19gの組成物(B-2)に代えた以外は合成例1と同様の操作をして、100質量部の組成物2に対して、ゼオローラHを50質量部、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルを30質量部及び組成物Xを20質量部有する組成物2を得た。組成物2の粘度は5.0mPa・sであり、100質量部の組成物2に対するスズ原子の含量は69ppmであった。
合成例2の組成物(A-1)14.1gを組成物(A-2)13.8gに代えた以外は合成例2と同様の操作をして、100質量部の組成物3に対して、ゼオローラHを50質量部、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルを30質量部、及び組成物Xを20質量%有する組成物3を得た。組成物3の粘度は5.0mPa・sであり、100質量部の組成物3に対するスズ原子の含量は64ppmであった。
合成例3の19gの組成物(B-2)を17gの化合物(B-3)に代えた以外は合成例3と同様の操作をして、100質量部の組成物4に対して、ゼオローラHを50質量部、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルを30質量部、及び組成物Xを20質量%有する組成物4を得た。組成物4の粘度は5.4mPa・sであり、100質量部の組成物4に対するスズ原子の含量は70ppmであった。
合成例1で得られた組成物1(20g)を撹拌しながらメタノール50gを加えた。その後、メタノールをデカンテーションして白色固形物を得た。得られた白色固形物にアセトン5gを加え撹拌した後、メタノール25gを加えた。再度デカンテーションにより白色固形物を分離した後、アセトンを5g及びゼオローラHを5g加えて撹拌した。続けて、メタノール25gを加えて、デカンテーションにより白色固形物(組成物X)を分離した。この白色固形物5gに、(3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,6-ノナフルオロヘキシル)-2-クロロアクリレート15gを加え、白色固形分を溶解し、固形分20質量%の組成物5を得た。組成物5の粘度は17.2mPa・sであり、100質量部の組成物5に対するスズ原子の含量は1ppm以下であった。
組成物1の代わりに、合成例3で得られた組成物3(20g)を用いた以外は合成例5と同様の操作をして、固形分20質量%の組成物6を得た。組成物6の粘度は13.2mPa・sであり、100質量部の組成物6に対するスズ原子の含量は1ppm以下であった。
ビームセット575CB(荒川化学社製)6.0gに、光開始剤としてイルガキュアー907(BASF社製)を120mg、及び組成物1を組成物Xの濃度が全重量に対して1wt%となるように加えた。その後、遮光下、回転ミキサーを用いて10時間撹拌し、PFPE含有ハードコート材料を得た。
組成物1の代わりに、組成物2~6をそれぞれ用いた以外は、比較例1と同様に行い、PFPE含有ハードコート材料を得た。
組成物1を加えない以外は比較例1と同様に行い、ハードコート材料を得た。
Claims (12)
- 少なくとも1種のパーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物を含む組成物であって、
ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー測定における分子量分布曲線において、
M2/M1≦3.5
[式中、M1は、メインピークを与える分子量であり、
M2は、M1よりも高分子量側において、前記メインピークの強度の25%の強度を示す分子量である。]
を満たす、組成物。 - ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー測定における分子量分布曲線において、
0.45≦M3/M1<1.0
[式中、M1は、メインピークを与える分子量であり、
M3は、M1よりも低分子量側において、前記メインピークの強度の25%の強度を示す分子量である。]
をさらに満たす、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物は、トリイソシアネート構造を有する化合物を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- 前記パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物は、イソシアヌレート型ポリイソシアネート構造を有する化合物を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- パーフルオロポリエーテル基は、
-(OC6F12)a-(OC5F10)b-(OC4F8)c-(OC3F6)d-(OC2F4)e-(OCF2)f-
を表し、ここに、a、b、c、d、e及びfは、それぞれ独立して0以上200以下の整数であって、a、b、c、d、e及びfの和は少なくとも1であり、a、b、c、d、e又はfを付して括弧でくくられた各繰り返し単位の存在順序は式中において任意である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。 - 請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の組成物を含む硬化性組成物。
- 触媒、含フッ素オイル、硬化性樹脂及び/又は硬化性モノマー、有機溶媒、活性エネルギー線硬化開始剤、光酸発生剤、界面活性剤、重合禁止剤、及び増感剤からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1つをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の硬化性組成物。
- イソシアネート基を有する化合物(a)を含む組成物及び活性水素を有する化合物を含む組成物を混合し、化合物(a)及び活性水素を有する化合物を反応させ、パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物を形成し、上記パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物を含む反応組成物と、溶媒とを混合し、パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物を含む沈殿物を形成し、形成された沈殿物を分離する工程、を含み、
溶媒として、パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物が実質的に溶解しない溶媒及び極性溶媒を用いる、硬化性組成物の製造方法。 - 化合物(a)を含む組成物は、イソシアヌレート型ポリイソシアネートを含み、化合物(a)を含む組成物全体に対し、ジイソシアネートを三量体化することにより得られるトリイソシアネートを40質量%以上含む、請求項8に記載の硬化性組成物の製造方法。
- イソシアネート基を有する化合物(a)を含む組成物及び活性水素を有する化合物を含む組成物を混合し、化合物(a)及び活性水素を有する化合物を反応させ、パーフルオロポリエーテル基及び硬化性部位を有する化合物を含む反応組成物を形成する工程を含み、
化合物(a)を含む組成物は、イソシアヌレート型ポリイソシアネートを含み、化合物(a)を含む組成物全体に対し、ジイソシアネートを三量体化することにより得られるトリイソシアネートを60質量%以上含む、硬化性組成物の製造方法。 - 反応組成物と溶媒とを混合し、沈殿物を形成し、形成された沈殿物を分離する工程、をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の硬化性組成物の製造方法。
- 基材と、前記基材の表面に、請求項6又は7に記載の硬化性組成物により形成された表面処理層とを有する物品。
