Definitions
- the present invention relates to a gas component measuring apparatus.
- a gas component measuring device for measuring a component of a target gas by irradiating a measurement target gas such as exhaust gas discharged from an electric furnace (hereinafter referred to as a target gas) with a laser beam according to the characteristics of the target gas, a light emitting unit By irradiating a laser beam from the light receiving part to the light receiving part, the light receiving part detects how much light of which wavelength is attenuated by the target gas located between the light emitting part and the light receiving part. It is desirable that the laser beam emitted from the other side is received so as to be received.
- a configuration for measuring the component of the target gas in the cyclone device can be realized by a simple method.
- Such a gas component measuring device It is desirable to provide an exclusion device configured to prevent the passage of the particulate matter in the vicinity of the pair of openings on the inner side of the cyclone device and reduce the particulate matter on the optical path of the laser light.

- the cyclone device is preferably closed at the top by a ceiling, provided with the gas inlet on the side, and provided with a gas outlet at the lower end for discharging the target gas together with the particulate matter.
- the structure of the cyclone device can be simplified.
- the cyclone device has a convex portion that extends downward from the ceiling portion and whose outer shape is a rotation surface about the vertical center axis of the cyclone device.
- the convex portion has an inverted conical shape having a small diameter on the lower side.
- Both the gas inlet and the gas outlet for discharging the target gas together with the particulate matter are connected to an exhaust duct through which exhaust gas discharged from an electric furnace for steelmaking is passed, so that the components of the exhaust gas are measured. It is desirable to be configured.
- FIG. 1 is a top view of the gas component measuring apparatus 10.
- FIG. 2 is a side view of the gas component measuring apparatus 10.
- the gas component measuring apparatus 10 is for measuring components of exhaust gas discharged from an electric furnace for steel making. That is, the exhaust gas becomes a (measurement) target gas of the gas component measuring apparatus 10.
- the exhaust gas discharged from the electric furnace moves to a dust collector such as a bag filter or an electric dust collector through an exhaust duct, but the gas component measuring device 10 is connected to the exhaust duct in a bypass form. That is, both a gas introduction port 22 and a gas outlet 24, which will be described later, of the gas component measuring apparatus 10 are connected to an exhaust duct through which exhaust gas discharged from an electric furnace for steelmaking passes, and the situation inside the electric furnace is grasped. It is configured to measure components of exhaust gas for the purpose of, for example.
- the gas component measuring device 10 includes a cyclone device 20 and a laser gas analyzer 40, and the laser gas analyzer 40 measures exhaust gas components in the cyclone device 20. That is, the laser gas analyzer 40 applies the laser light according to the characteristics of the exhaust gas to the exhaust gas moving through the cyclone device 20 to analyze the exhaust gas and measure the components of the exhaust gas.
- the cyclone device 20 has a cylindrical shape at one end side in the axial direction of the central axis T, and a substantially truncated cone shape at the other end side. That is, the axial direction is along the vertical direction, and the upper side of the cyclone device 20 has a cylindrical shape, and the lower side has a truncated cone shape whose diameter decreases toward the lower side.
- a gas introduction port 22 is provided at one end (upper end) in the axial direction (vertical direction) of the side surface 20a of the cyclone device 20, and the gas introduction port 22 connects the cyclone device 20 and the exhaust duct. It is connected to the exhaust duct via the introduction pipe 60. Further, the gas introduction port 22 and the introduction pipe 60 are arranged so that the traveling direction of the exhaust gas passing through the gas introduction port 22 is along the tangential direction of the circumference of the cyclone device 20 (in other words, the longitudinal direction of the introduction pipe 60 is Along the tangential direction).
- a gas outlet 24 is provided at the bottom 20b of the cyclone device 20, that is, the other end (lower end) in the axial direction (vertical direction) of the cyclone device 20, and the gas outlet 24 is connected to the cyclone device 20 and the exhaust duct. Are connected to the exhaust duct via an outlet pipe (not shown).
- the outlet pipe is provided with a suction device so that the exhaust gas in the exhaust duct is guided into the cyclone device 20 and the exhaust gas discharged from the gas outlet 24 of the cyclone device 20 is returned to the exhaust duct again.
- the suction device is not particularly limited as long as it is a device capable of sucking and discharging a gas containing particulate matter such as dust and droplets, but it is preferable to use a pump having no movable part such as an ejector pump.
- a general cyclone device for example, a cyclone device described in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2
- particulate matter such as dust and droplets and gas such as exhaust gas are separated to form particulate matter (dust And liquid droplets) are discharged from an outlet located at the bottom (lower end), and gas (exhaust gas) is discharged from an outlet located at the ceiling (upper end).
- a general cyclone apparatus is used for the purpose of removing particulate matter (dust and droplets) from gas (exhaust gas) containing particulate matter (dust and droplets).
- the cyclone device 20 is not used as a general particulate matter removing machine. That is, it is not used for removing particulate matter (dust and droplets) from exhaust gas containing particulate matter (dust and droplets). For this reason, only one outlet is provided at the bottom 20b (lower end), and this outlet is a common outlet for gas (exhaust gas) and particulate matter (dust and droplets). That is, not only exhaust gas but also dust and droplets are discharged from the gas outlet 24.
- the upper part of the cyclone apparatus 20 is closed by the ceiling part 20c, and no opening is provided.
- the laser gas analyzer 40 measures in the cyclone device 20 the components of the exhaust gas including particulate matter introduced into the cyclone device 20 from the gas inlet 22. As described above, the laser gas analyzer 40 applies the laser light according to the characteristics of the exhaust gas to the exhaust gas moving in the cyclone device 20 to analyze the exhaust gas and measure the components of the exhaust gas.
- the laser gas analyzer 40 includes a light emitting unit 42 and a light receiving unit 44.
- the light emitting unit 42 emits laser light toward the light receiving unit 44 and is provided outside the cyclone device 20 and at a position adjacent to the cyclone device 20 in the horizontal direction.
- the cyclone device 20 is provided with a pair of openings 26 that face each other on the side surface 20a, and the light emitting unit 42 is connected to the cyclone device 20 from one of the pair of openings 26 (referred to as an incident opening 26a). It arrange
- the light receiving unit 44 is a part that receives the laser light emitted from the light emitting unit 42 and is provided outside the cyclone device 20 and at a position adjacent to the cyclone device 20 on the side opposite to the light emitting unit 42 in the horizontal direction. Yes.
- the light receiving unit 44 is arranged to receive laser light emitted to the outside from the other of the pair of openings 26 (referred to as an emission opening 26b).
- the position in the vertical direction of the light receiving section 44 (the exit opening 26b) is coincident with the position in the vertical direction of the light emitting section 42 (the entrance opening 26a). Therefore, the laser light moves in a direction (that is, a horizontal direction) orthogonal to the axial direction. Further, the exit opening 26b and the entrance opening 26a are provided in the lower part of a cylindrical portion located on one end side of the cyclone device 20.
- the laser light emitted from the light emitting unit 42 enters the cyclone device 20 through the incident opening 26 a and passes through the cyclone device 20.
- the laser beam passing through the cyclone device 20 is attenuated by coming into contact with the exhaust gas in the cyclone device 20.
- the attenuated laser light reaches the outside of the cyclone device 20 through the emission opening 26 b and is received by the light receiving unit 44.
- how much light of which wavelength of the laser beam is attenuated is detected (analyzed), and the component of the exhaust gas is measured.
- the exhaust gas contains particulate matter (dust and droplets), and when the concentration of such particulate matter is high, the laser beam may not reach the light receiving unit 44 properly, and the measurement may not be performed accurately. There is sex.
- the cyclone device 20 when exhaust gas containing particulate matter is introduced from the gas introduction port 22, the cyclone device 20 descends while turning in the cyclone device 20.
- the exhaust gas and the particulate matter are centrifuged, and the particulate matter is in the centrifugal portion (the radially outer side of the cyclone device 20, that is, in the vicinity of the side surface 20a of the cyclone device 20), and the exhaust gas is in the central portion (the diameter of the cyclone device 20). (Inward direction), respectively.
- the laser gas analyzer 40 is positioned at the central portion of the cyclone device 20 except the centrifugal portion so that the progress of the laser beam is not hindered by the particulate matter as much as possible. It is comprised so that the component of the waste gas to measure may be measured.
- the gas component measuring device 10 prevents the passage of particulate matter in the vicinity of the pair of openings 26 on the inner side of the cyclone device 20 and reduces particulate matter on the optical path of the laser light.
- An exclusion device 50 configured as described above is provided. And the exclusion apparatus 50 which concerns on this Embodiment has the hollow tube 52 provided so that it might protrude inward from the said pair of opening part 26.
- the exhaust gas containing particulate matter is physically blocked by the hollow tube 52, and the exhaust gas containing particulate matter and the laser beam can be prevented from intersecting in the hollow tube 52. Therefore, the range in which the exhaust gas containing particulate matter and laser light intersect can be limited to the central portion where the proportion of particulate matter is relatively small. Further, even if a gas drifting (floating) in the vicinity of the tip from the tip of the hollow tube 52 slightly enters the hollow tube 52, the entrance of the particulate matter is appropriately avoided. Therefore, the ratio of the particulate matter in the hollow tube 52 is very small. From the above, by providing such a hollow tube 52, it is possible to solve the problem that the laser beam does not reach the light receiving portion 44 due to the particulate matter.
- the inner diameter of the hollow tube 52 is set to be equal to or greater than the width (half-value width) of the laser beam so as not to block the laser beam.
- the amount of protrusion of the hollow tube 52 from the opening 26 is desirably one tenth or more of the diameter of the cyclone device 20 in the opening 26, and the upper limit of the amount of protrusion is between the tips of both hollow tubes 52.
- the distance (distance of the section where the laser light is irradiated to the exhaust gas) is preferably at least twice the inner diameter of the hollow tube, and therefore it is desirable that the distance be secured.
- the cyclone device 20 has a convex portion 28 that extends downward from the ceiling portion 20 c and whose outer shape is a rotation surface about the (vertical) central axis T of the cyclone device 20.
- the convex portion 28 according to the present embodiment has an inverted conical shape having a small diameter on the lower side.
- the said convex part 28 plays the role as protrusion for backflow prevention. That is, if the convex portion 28 does not exist, the swirling flow (rotating flow) of the exhaust gas is difficult to occur in the upper part of the cyclone device 20, and the exhaust gas may stay. When the exhaust gas stays, there is a risk that the exhaust gas in the cyclone device 20 will return to the introduction pipe 60 from the gas inlet 22.
- the convex portion 28 since the convex portion 28 is provided, it is possible to appropriately generate a swirling flow (rotating flow) of the exhaust gas, and to suppress the back flow of the exhaust gas.
- the gas component measuring apparatus 10 includes the cyclone device 20 provided with the gas inlet 22 and the exhaust gas containing particulate matter introduced into the cyclone device 20 from the gas inlet 22.
- the laser gas analyzer 40 which measures a component within the cyclone apparatus 20 was provided. Therefore, it is possible to realize the gas component measuring apparatus 10 that can quickly measure the components of the exhaust gas.
- the exhaust gas contains particulate matter such as dust and droplets, and if the concentration of such particulate matter is high, the laser beam may not reach the light receiving unit properly and measurement may not be performed accurately. There is. Therefore, in the conventional example, a method has been adopted in which the particulate matter is previously removed from the exhaust gas using a cyclone device, and the exhaust gas from which the particulate matter has been removed is measured by a gas component measuring device.
- the gas component measuring apparatus 10 since the exhaust gas component is measured in the cyclone apparatus 20, the exhaust gas and the particulate matter are centrifuged in the cyclone apparatus 20 where the exhaust gas and the particulate matter are centrifuged. Measurement can be performed by targeting (selecting) a relatively small portion (range), and the problem that the laser beam does not reach the light receiving unit 44 due to the granular material can be solved. In such a case, since there is no step of removing particulate matter from the exhaust gas, it is possible to quickly measure the components of the exhaust gas.
- the cyclone device 20 is not used as a particulate matter removing machine that removes particulate matter from the exhaust gas (without using the particulate matter removing function of the cyclone device 20), but the centrifugal separator of the cyclone device 20 is used. Only the separation function is used. And by this idea (ingenuity), it becomes possible to measure the component of the exhaust gas more rapidly than the conventional example while solving the problem that the laser beam does not reach the light receiving unit 44 due to the particulate matter.
- the laser gas analyzer 40 measures the components of the exhaust gas located in the central portion excluding the centrifugal portion in the cyclone device 20.
- the cyclone device 20 includes a pair of openings 26 that face each other on the side surface 20 a, and the light emitting unit 42 of the laser gas analyzer 40 is connected to the cyclone device 20 from one of the pair of openings 26.
- the laser light analyzer 44 is arranged so that the laser beam is incident on it, and the light receiving part 44 of the laser gas analyzer 40 is arranged to receive the laser beam emitted from the other of the pair of openings 26 to the outside. .
- a configuration for measuring the components of the exhaust gas in the cyclone device 20 can be realized by a simple method.
- an exclusion device 50 configured to prevent the passage of particulate matter in the vicinity of the pair of openings 26 on the inner side of the cyclone device 20 and reduce the particulate matter on the optical path of the laser beam. I decided to prepare. Further, the exclusion device 50 includes a hollow tube 52 provided so as to protrude inward from the pair of openings 26.
- the cyclone device 20 is different from a general cyclone device in that the upper part is closed by a ceiling part 20c, the gas introduction port 22 is provided on the side surface 20a, and the exhaust gas together with the particulate matter is provided at the lower end.
- the gas outlet 24 for discharging the gas is provided.
- the cyclone device 20 is not configured to discharge the particulate matter and the exhaust gas separately, the exhaust gas containing the particulate matter passes through the cyclone device 20 (that is, both when it is introduced and discharged).
- the particulate matter and the exhaust gas are in a mixed state only). Therefore, the maintenance element and the movable parts which are conventionally required for the equipment for processing the removed granular material are not required at all.
- the convex portion 28 that extends downward from the ceiling portion 20c and whose outer shape is a rotation surface about the (vertical) central axis T of the cyclone device 20 is provided. Further, the convex portion 28 has an inverted conical shape having a small diameter on the lower side.
- the swirl flow (rotating flow) of the exhaust gas can be appropriately generated, and the back flow of the exhaust gas can be suppressed.
- the gas component measuring apparatus according to the present invention has been described above based on the above embodiment. However, the above embodiment of the present invention is for facilitating understanding of the present invention, and the present invention is The form is not limited. The present invention can be changed and improved without departing from the gist thereof, and the present invention includes the equivalents thereof.
- both the gas inlet 22 and the gas outlet 24 are connected to an exhaust duct through which exhaust gas discharged from an electric furnace for steelmaking passes, and the components of the exhaust gas are measured.
- the target gas is exhaust gas discharged from an electric furnace for steel making, but is not limited to this, and may be other combustion gas or process gas.
- the exhaust gas discharged from the electric furnace for steel making has a very high concentration of particulate matter compared to other combustion gases and process gases, there is a problem that the laser beam does not reach the light receiving unit 44 due to the particulate matter. . Therefore, when measuring the component of the exhaust gas discharged from the electric furnace for steelmaking, the effect of the present invention works more effectively.
- the exclusion device 50 is configured to inject purge gas (for example, nitrogen gas) inward from the pair of openings 26.
- a device 54 may be included.
- FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram for explaining the gas component measuring apparatus 10 according to the second embodiment.
- the purge gas injected by the gas injection device 54 is a pair of openings 26 (only one opening 26 is shown in FIG. 3 for convenience) and It passes through the hollow tube 52 and enters the cyclone device 20.
- the exhaust gas containing the particulate matter is not only in the hollow tube 52 but also in the vicinity of the outlet of the hollow tube 52 (portion indicated by P in FIG. 3) by the action of the purge gas that has entered the cyclone device 20. Do not cross light. Therefore, the range in which the exhaust gas containing particulate matter and the laser beam intersect can be appropriately limited by the central portion where the proportion of particulate matter is relatively small. Therefore, by providing such a gas injection device 54, the problem that the laser beam does not reach the light receiving unit 44 due to the particulate matter can be solved more appropriately.
- the gas injection device 54 is provided in a form added to the hollow tube 52.
- the gas injection device 54 is provided without the hollow tube 52 being provided. It does not matter.
