  • a light-shielding material In daily life, it is often necessary to apply a light-shielding material to separate storage, infusion therapy, and transport of some special materials (such as photo-decomposable drugs, reagents, preparations, and materials). Clinically, some drugs have poor stability. When dissolved, they are prone to oxidation, decomposition, discoloration, etc.; some chemotherapeutic drugs can undergo complex reactions such as splitting, rearrangement, hydrolysis, polymerization, oxidation, and isomerization. Light can catalyze the progress of the above reaction. However, when the light-shielding material is in direct contact with the light-decomposable substance, it often affects the physical and chemical properties of the drug or material or other chemical reactions.
