터치입력방식이 차세대 입력방식으로 각광받으면서 좀더 다양한 전자기기에 터치입력방식을 도입하려는 시도들이 이루어지고 있으며, 따라서 다양한 환경에 적용할 수 있고 정확한 터치인식이 가능한 터치센서에 대한 연구개발도 활발히 이루어지고 있다.
예를 들어, 터치 방식의 디스플레이를 갖는 전자기기의 경우 초경량, 저전력을 달성하고 휴대성이 향상된 초박막의 유연성 디스플레이가 차세대 디스플레이로 주목받으면서 이러한 디스플레이에 적용 가능한 터치센서의 개발이 요구되어 왔다.
유연성 디스플레이란 특성의 손실 없이 휘거나 구부리거나 말 수 있는 유연한 기판상에 제작된 디스플레이를 의미하며, 유연성 LCD, 유연성 OLED, 및 전자종이와 같은 형태로 기술개발이 진행중에 있다.
이러한 유연성 디스플레이에 터치입력방식을 적용하기 위해서는 휘어짐 및 복원력이 우수하고 유연성 및 신축성이 뛰어난 터치센서가 요구된다.
이와 같은 유연성 디스플레이 제조를 위한 필름 터치 센서에 관하여 투명 수지 기재 중에 매설된 배선을 포함하는 배선 기판이 제시되고 있다.
캐리어 기판상에 금속 배선을 형성하는 배선형성공정과, 상기 금속 배선을 덮도록 투명 수지 용액을 도포 건조하여 투명 수지 기재를 형성하는 적층 공정 및 상기 캐리어 기판으로부터 투명 수지 기재를 박리시키는 박리 공정을 포함하는 것이다.
이와 같은 제조 방법에서는 박리공정을 원활하게 수행하기 위하여, 실리콘 수지나 불소수지와 같은 유기 박리재, 다이아몬드 라이크 카본(Diamond Like Carbon, DLC) 박막, 산화 지르코늄 박막 등의 무기 박리재를 기판의 표면에 미리 형성시키는 방법을 사용한다. 그러나 무기 박리재를 이용하는 경우, 캐리어 기판으로부터 기재 및 금속 배선을 박리시킬 때, 배선 및 기재의 박리가 원활하게 진행되지 않아 기판 표면에 금속 배선 및 기재의 일부가 잔류하는 문제가 있으며, 박리재로 사용된 유기 물질이 배선 및 기재의 표면에 묻어나오는 문제가 있다.
이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 한국등록특허 제1191865호에서 제시되고 있는 방법은, 금속 배선이 매립된 형태의 유연기판을 제조하는 단계에서 빛이나 용매에 의해 제거될 수 있는 희생층, 금속 배선 및 고분자 물질(유연기판)을 캐리어 기판상에 형성시킨 후, 빛이나 용매를 이용하여 희생층을 제거함으로써 금속 배선 및 고분자 물질(유연기판)을 캐리어 기판으로부터 박리시킨다.
하지만, 이와 같은 방법은 대형 사이즈에서의 희생층 제거 공정이 어렵고, 금속 배선이 용매 등 약액에 직접 노출되며, 고온 공정이 불가능하여 다양한 필름 기재를 사용할 수 없는 문제가 있다.
또한, 박리시에 필름 터치 센서에 가해지는 응력에 의해 보호층, 절연층 등이 파손되는 문제도 있다.
본 발명은 전극 패턴층을 피복하는 보호층을 구비한 필름 터치 센서를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 캐리어 기판으로부터의 박리시의 크랙 발생율을 현저히 줄일 수 있는 필름 터치 센서를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 내열성이 우수한 절연층을 구비하여, 고온 증착 및 어닐링 공정 시 발생할 수 있는 열 손상을 억제할 수 있는 필름 터치 센서를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

본 발명의 필름 터치 센서는 내열성이 우수한 절연층을 구비하여, 고온 증착 및 어닐링 공정 시 발생할 수 있는 주름, 크랙 등의 열 손상을 억제할 수 있다. 이에 따라, 고온 증착 및 어닐링 공정을 수행하여 보다 낮은 저항을 갖는 전극 패턴층을 구현할 수 있다.
본 발명의 필름 터치 센서는 캐리어 기판으로부터 분리시의 크랙 발생율을 현저히 줄일 수 있다.

본 발명은 분리층; 상기 분리층 상에 배치된 보호층; 및 상기 보호층 상에 배치되며, 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체의 경화층인 절연층을 구비한 전극 패턴층;을 포함함으로써, 고온 증착 및 어닐링 공정 시 발생할 수 있는 절연층의 주름, 크랙 등의 열 손상을 억제할 수 있고, 캐리어 기판으로부터 분리시의 크랙 발생율을 현저히 줄일 수 있는 필름 터치 센서 및 이의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
이하 본 발명을 상세히 설명하기로 한다.
본 발명의 필름 터치 센서는 분리층, 보호층 및 전극 패턴층을 포함한다.
이하 도면을 참조하여 본 발명을 상세히 설명하기로 한다.
도 1 및 2는 본 발명의 일 구현예에 따른 필름 터치 센서의 개략적인 단면도이다.
본 발명의 터치 센서는 캐리어 기판(10) 상에서 제조 공정이 진행되고, 제조된 적층체를 캐리어 기판(10)으로부터 분리하여 제조되는 것으로서, 분리층(20)은 캐리어 기판(10)과의 분리를 위해 형성되는 층이다.
분리층(20)은 캐리어 기판(10)과의 분리 이후에 제거되지 않고 전극 패턴층(40)을 피복하여 전극 패턴층(40)을 보호하는 층이 된다.
분리층(20)은 고분자 유기막일 수 있으며, 예를 들면 폴리이미드(polyimide)계 고분자, 폴리비닐알코올(poly vinyl alcohol)계 고분자, 폴리아믹산(polyamic acid)계 고분자, 폴리아미드(polyamide)계 고분자, 폴리에틸렌(polyethylene)계 고분자, 폴리스타일렌(polystylene)계 고분자, 폴리노보넨(polynorbornene)계 고분자, 페닐말레이미드 공중합체(phenylmaleimide copolymer)계 고분자, 폴리아조벤젠(polyazobenzene)계 고분자, 폴리페닐렌프탈아미드(polyphenylenephthalamide)계 고분자, 폴리에스테르(polyester)계 고분자, 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트(polymethyl methacrylate)계 고분자, 폴리아릴레이트(polyarylate)계 고분자, 신나메이트(cinnamate)계 고분자, 쿠마린(coumarin)계 고분자, 프탈리미딘(phthalimidine)계 고분자, 칼콘(chalcone)계 고분자, 방향족 아세틸렌계 고분자 등의 고분자로 제조된 것일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되는 것은 아니다. 이들은 단독 또는 2종 이상 혼합하여 사용할 수 있다.
상기 분리층(20)은 캐리어 기판(10)으로부터 용이하게 박리되며, 박리시에 후술할 보호층(30)으로부터는 박리되지 않도록, 상기 소재 중 캐리어 기판(10)에 대한 박리력이 1N/25mm 이하인 소재로 제조되는 것이 바람직하다.
분리층(20)의 두께는 10 내지 1000nm가 바람직하고, 50 내지 500nm인 것이 보다 바람직하다. 분리층(20)의 두께가 10nm 미만이면 분리층(20) 도포시의 균일성이 떨어져 전극 패턴 형성이 불균일하거나, 국부적으로 박리력이 상승하여 찢겨짐이 발생하거나, 캐리어 기판(10)과 분리 후, 필름 터치 센서의 컬(curl)이 제어되지 않는 문제점이 있다. 그리고 두께가 1000nm를 초과하면 상기 박리력이 더 이상 낮아지지 않는 문제점이 있으며, 필름의 유연성이 저하되는 문제점이 있다.
보호층(30)은 분리층(20) 상에 위치하여, 분리층(20)과 마찬가지로 전극 패턴층(40)을 피복하여 전극 패턴층(40)의 오염 및 캐리어 기판(10)으로부터 분리시의 전극 패턴층(40)의 파단을 방지하는 역할을 한다.
보호층(30)으로는 당분야에 공지된 고분자가 제한없이 사용될 수 있으며, 예를 들면 유기 절연막 소재가 제한없이 사용될 수 있다.
또한, 보호층(30)은 무기 재료로 제조된 것일 수도 있다. 예를 들면 무기 산화물, 무기 질화물 등일 수 있다. 무기 산화물은 예를 들면 실리콘 산화물, 알루미나, 산화티탄 등을 들 수 있고, 무기 질화물은 실리콘 질화물, 질화티탄 등을 들 수 있다. 고투과율을 구현한다는 측면에서 바람직하게는 실리콘 산화물일 수 있다.
무기 재료로 제조된 보호층(30)은 내열성이 우수하여 열변형 및 열응력에 의한 크랙 발생을 줄일 수 있다. 이에, 고온 증착 및 어닐링 공정을 수행하여 보다 낮은 저항을 갖는 전극 패턴층(40)을 구현할 수 있다. 또한, 내화학성이 우수하여 분리층(20)의 팽윤이나 박리 등을 억제한다.
상기 보호층(30) 상에는 전극 패턴층(40)이 배치된다.
전극 패턴층(40)은 터치 감지를 위한 센싱 전극 및 패드 전극을 포함한다.
센싱 전극은 분리층 상의 센싱 영역에, 패드 전극은 분리층 상의 패드 영역에 위치할 수 있다. 다만, 센싱 전극과 패드 전극은 전기적으로 연결되어야 하므로, 센싱 전극의 적어도 일부가 패드 영역에 위치할 수도 있고, 패드 전극의 적어도 일부가 센싱 영역에 위치할 수도 있다.
센싱 영역은 필름 터치 센서에서 터치가 수행되는 표시부에 대응되는 영역을 의미하고, 패드 영역은 패드부에 대응되는 영역을 의미한다. 즉, 분리층 상의 센싱 영역은 분리층 상에서 표시부에 대응되는 영역을 의미하고, 패드 영역은 분리층 상에서 패드부에 대응되는 영역을 의미한다.
전극 패턴층(40)의 센싱 전극 및 패드 전극으로는 전도성 물질이라면 제한되지 않고 사용될 수 있으며, 예를 들면 인듐틴옥사이드(ITO), 인듐징크옥사이드(IZO), 인듐징크틴옥사이드(IZTO), 알루미늄징크옥사이드(AZO), 갈륨징크옥사이드(GZO), 플로린틴옥사이드(FTO), 인듐틴옥사이드-은-인듐틴옥사이드(ITO-Ag-ITO), 인듐징크옥사이드-은-인듐징크옥사이드(IZO-Ag-IZO), 인듐징크틴옥사이드-은-인듐징크틴옥사이드(IZTO-Ag-IZTO) 및 알루미늄징크옥사이드-은-알루미늄징크옥사이드(AZO-Ag-AZO)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 금속산화물류; 금(Au), 은(Ag), 구리(Cu), 몰리브덴(Mo) 및 APC로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 금속류; 금, 은, 구리 및 납으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 금속의 나노와이어; 탄소나노튜브(CNT) 및 그래핀 (graphene)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 탄소계 물질류; 및 폴리(3,4-에틸렌디옥시티오펜)(PEDOT) 및 폴리아닐린(PANI)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 전도성 고분자 물질류에서 선택된 재료로 형성될 수 있으며, 이들은 단독 또는 2종 이상 혼합하여 사용할 수 있고, 바람직하게는 인듐틴옥사이드가 사용될 수 있다. 인듐틴옥사이드는 결정성 또는 비결정성 모두 사용이 가능하다.
센싱 전극의 단위 패턴들은 서로 독립적으로 예컨대 3각형, 4각형, 5각형, 6각형 또는 7각형 이상의 다각형 패턴일 수 있다.
또한, 센싱 전극은 규칙 패턴을 포함할 수 있다. 규칙 패턴이란, 패턴의 형태가 규칙성을 갖는 것을 의미한다. 예컨대, 단위 패턴들은 서로 독립적으로 직사각형 또는 정사각형과 같은 메쉬 형태나, 육각형과 같은 형태의 패턴을 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 센싱 전극은 불규칙 패턴을 포함할 수 있다. 불규칙 패턴이란 패턴의 형태가 규칙성을 갖지 아니한 것을 의미한다.
센싱 전극이 금속 나노와이어, 탄소계 물질류, 고분자 물질류 등의 재료로 형성된 경우, 센싱 전극은 망상 구조를 가질 수 있다.
망상 구조를 갖는 경우, 서로 접촉하여 인접하는 패턴들에 순차적으로 신호가 전달되므로, 높은 감도를 갖는 패턴을 실현할 수 있다.
센싱 전극의 두께는 특별히 한정하지 않으나, 필름 터치 센서의 유연성을 고려할 때 가급적 박막인 것이 바람직하다. 예를 들면, 두께는 100 내지 500Å일 수 있는데, 이와 같이 박막인 경우 저항 증가가 문제될 수 있으나, 전술한 바와 같은 캡핑층(40)을 구비함으로써 저항 증가를 방지하여 우수한 감도를 유지할 수 있다.
전극 패턴층(40)의 센싱 전극은 터치 위치를 센싱하기 위해 서로 다른 방향인 2방향으로 형성되는데, 각 방향의 전극은 서로 절연되어야 한다. 이를 위해 전극 패턴층(40)은 절연층(43)을 구비하고, 이에 의해 어느 한 방향의 전극은 브릿지 전극을 통해 다른 방향의 전극과 절연을 유지하며 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 절연층(43)은 하기 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체의 경화층이다:

본 명세서에서 헤테로환은 고리형 구조로서 고리 중에 헤테로 원자(N, O, P, S 등)를 1개 이상 갖는 고리를 의미한다.
상기 화학식 2에서, R5와 R6이 형성할 수 있는 3원 헤테로환 구조로서는 예컨대 에폭시 구조 등을 들 수 있다. 또한, R5와 R6이 5원 헤테로환 구조로서는, 예컨대 다이카복실산 무수물 구조〔-C(O)-O-C(O)-〕, 다이카복시이미드 구조〔-C(O)-N-C(O)-〕 등을 들 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체는 유리전이온도가 높다. 예를 들면 100℃ 이상일 수 있고, 바람직하게는 150℃ 이상, 보다 바람직하게는 200℃ 이상, 가장 바람직하게는 250℃ 이상일 수 있다. 상기와 같이 높은 유리전이온도를 가짐으로써, 이를 포함한 절연층이 높은 내열성을 가져, ITO 등의 센싱 전극 형성시의 고온 증착 및 어닐링 공정 시 발생할 수 있는 주름, 크랙, 색상 변화 등의 열 손상을 억제할 수 있다.
또한, 센싱 전극 형성시에 노출될 수 있는 에칭액, 현상액 등 다양한 용제에 대한 내용제성이 우수하다.
본 발명에 따른 절연층(43)은 상기 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체의 경화층으로서, 탄성이 우수하여 캐리어 기판으로부터의 박리시에 발생할 수 있는 크랙을 줄일 수 있다.
절연층(43)의 탄성은 예를 들면 탄성률이 2.8 내지 4.5GPa일 수 있다. 탄성률이 2.8GPa 미만이면 전극 형성시에 절연층(43)에 주름이 발생할 수 있고, 4.5GPa 초과이면 캐리어 기판으로부터 박리시에 크랙이 발생할 수 있다. 상기 범위의 탄성률은 예를 들면 포스트베이크 온도를 180℃ 이상으로 함으로써 얻어질 수 있다. 우수한 수준의 주름 억제 효과와 박리 억제 효과를 동시에 만족시킨다는 측면에서 바람직하게는 3 내지 4.2GPa일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 절연층(43)은 투과율이 매우 높다. 예를 들면 투과율이 90% 이상일 수 있고, 바람직하게는 95% 이상, 보다 바람직하게는 97% 이상일 수 있다. 상기 범위의 투과율은 예를 들면 포스트베이크 온도를 180℃ 내지 250℃로 함으로써 얻을 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 상기 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체는 프로톤성 극성기 함유 환상 올레핀계 중합체이다.
본 명세서에 있어서 프로톤성 극성기란, 탄소원자 이외의 원자에 수소원자가 직접 결합된 원자단을 말한다. 여기서, 탄소원자 이외의 원자는, 바람직하게는 주기율표 제15족 및 제16족에 속하는 원자, 보다 바람직하게는 주기율표 제15족 및 제16족의 제 1 및 제 2 주기에 속하는 원자, 더 바람직하게는 산소원자, 질소원자 및 황원자, 특히 바람직하게는 산소원자이다.
프로톤성 극성기의 구체예로서는, 카복실기(하이드록시카보닐기), 설폰산기, 인산기, 하이드록실기 등의 산소원자를 갖는 극성기; 1급 아미노기, 2급 아미노기, 1급 아마이드기, 2급 아마이드기(이미드기) 등의 질소원자를 갖는 극성기; 티올기 등의 황원자를 갖는 극성기 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 중에서도, 산소원자를 갖는 것이 바람직하고, 보다 바람직하게는 카복실기이다.
본 발명에 사용하는 환상 올레핀계 중합체는, 주쇄에 환상 올레핀 단량체 단위의 환상 구조(지환 또는 방향환)를 갖는, 환상 올레핀 단량체의 단독중합체 또는 공중합체이다. 본 발명에 있어서 환상 올레핀이란, 개환 중합가능한 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 포함하는 환상 구조를 갖는 올레핀 단량체를 말한다.
환상 올레핀계 중합체는 환상 올레핀 단량체 이외의 단량체 단위를 가질 수도 있다. 이러한 환상 올레핀계 중합체의 전체 구조단위 중, 환상 올레핀 단량체 단위의 비율은 통상 30 내지 100중량%, 바람직하게는 50 내지 100중량%, 보다 바람직하게는 70 내지 100중량% 이다.
본 발명에 따른 프로톤성 극성기 함유 환상 올레핀계 중합체에 있어서, 프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 단량체 단위와 그 이외의 단량체 단위의 비율(프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 단량체 단위/그 이외의 단량체 단위)은 중량비로 통상 100/0 내지 10/90, 바람직하게는 90/10 내지 20/80, 보다 바람직하게는 80/20 내지 30/70의 범위이다.
본 발명에 있어서 사용하는 프로톤성 극성기 함유 환상 올레핀계 중합체의 바람직한 제조방법으로서는, 프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 환상 올레핀 단량체를 중합하여, 소망에 따라 수소첨가를 하는 방법을 들 수 있다.
프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 환상 올레핀 단량체의 구체예로서는, 5-하이드록시카보닐바이사이클로[2.2.1]헵토-2-엔, 5-메틸-5-하이드록시카보닐바이사이클로[2.2.1]헵토-2-엔, 5-카복시메틸-5-하이드록시카보닐바이사이클로[2.2.1]헵토-2-엔, 5-엑소-6-엔도-다이하이드록시카보닐바이사이클로[2.2.1]헵토-2-엔, 8-하이드록시카보닐테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]도데카-3-엔, 8-메틸-8-하이드록시카보닐테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]도데카-3-엔, 8-엑소-9-엔도-다이하이드록시카보닐테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]도데카-3-엔 등의 카복실기를 갖는 환상 올레핀; 5-(4-하이드록시페닐)바이사이클로[2.2.1]헵토-2-엔, 5-메틸-5-(4-하이드록시페닐)바이사이클로[2.2.1]헵토-2-엔, 8-(4-하이드록시페닐)테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]도데카-3-엔, 8-메틸-8-(4-하이드록시페닐)테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]도데카-3-엔 등의 하이드록시기를 갖는 환상 올레핀 등을 들 수 있고, 이들 중에서도 카복실기를 갖는 환상 올레핀이 바람직하다.
수소첨가는 통상 수소 첨가 촉매를 이용하여 실시된다. 수소첨가 촉매로서는, 예컨대 올레핀 화합물의 수소첨가에 있어서 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 것을 이용할 수 있다. 구체적으로는, 지글러 타입의 균일계 촉매, 귀금속 착체 촉매, 담지형 귀금속계 촉매 등을 이용할 수 있다. 이들 수소첨가 촉매 중 프로톤성 극성기 등의 작용기를 변성시키는 등의 부반응을 일으키지 않고, 중합체 중의 탄소-탄소 불포화 결합에 선택적으로 수소첨가할 수 있다는 점에서, 로듐, 루테늄 등의 귀금속 착체 촉매가 바람직하고, 전자공여성이 높은 함질소 헤테로환식 카벤 화합물 또는 포스핀류가 배위한 루테늄 촉매가 보다 바람직하다. 한편, 환상 올레핀계 중합체의 수소화율은 바람직하게는 80%이상, 보다 바람직하게는 90% 이상이다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 프로톤성 극성기 함유 환상 올레핀계 중합체는 프로톤성 극성기를 갖지 않는 환상 올레핀계 중합체에, 공지된 방법에 의해 변성제를 이용하여 프로톤성 극성기를 도입하는 방법에 의해서도 얻을 수 있다. 이 때, 프로톤성 극성기 도입 전후의 중합체에 대하여 수소첨가를 행할 수도 있다.
프로톤성 극성기를 갖지 않는 환상 올레핀계 중합체는 통상적인 방법에 따라 프로톤성 극성기를 갖지 않는 환상 올레핀 단량체, 그리고 필요에 따라 환상 올레핀 단량체 이외의 단량체를 추가로 중합하여 얻은 것일 수 있다. 프로톤성 극성기를 갖지 않는 환상 올레핀 단량체로는 극성기를 갖지 않는 환상 올레핀 단량체, 비프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 환상 올레핀 단량체를 예로 들 수 있다. 환상 올레핀 단량체 이외의 단량체로는 비닐 지환식 탄화수소 단량체, 비닐 방향족 탄화수소단량체, 쇄상 올레핀 등을 들 수 있다.

비프로톤성 극성기의 구체예로서는, 에스터기(알콕시카보닐기 및 아릴옥시카보닐기를 총칭하여 말한다), N-치환 이미드기, 에폭시기, 할로젠원자, 사이아노기, 카보닐옥시카보닐기(다이카복실산의 산무수물 잔기), 알콕시기, 카보닐기, 3급 아미노기, 설폰기, 할로젠원자, 아크릴로일기 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 중, 바람직하게는 에스터기, N-치환 이미드기, 사이아노기 및 할로젠원자이며, 보다 바람직하게는 에스터기 및 N-치환 이미드기이다. 특히, N-치환 이미드기가 바람직하다.
비프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 환상 올레핀 단량체로서는, 이하와 같은 것이 구체적으로 예시된다.

할로젠원자를 갖는 환상 올레핀으로서는, 예컨대 8-클로로테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]도데카-3-엔, 8-메틸-8-클로로테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]도데카-3-엔 등을 들 수 있다.
또한, 상기 비닐 지환식 탄화수소 단량체의 예로서는, 비닐사이클로프로페인, 비닐사이클로뷰테인, 비닐사이클로펜테인, 비닐사이클로헥세인, 비닐사이클로헵테인 등의 비닐사이클로알케인; 3-메틸-1-비닐사이클로헥세인, 4-메틸-1-비닐사이클로헥세인, 1-페닐-2-비닐사이클로프로페인, 1,1-다이페닐-2-비닐사이클로프로페인 등의 치환기를 갖는 비닐사이클로알케인 등을 들 수 있다.
비닐 방향족 탄화수소 단량체의 예로서는, 스타이렌, 1-비닐나프탈렌, 2-비닐나프탈렌, 3-비닐나프탈렌 등의 비닐 방향족류; 3-메틸스타이렌, 4-프로필스타이렌, 4-사이클로헥실스타이렌, 4-도데실스타이렌, 2-에틸-4-벤질스타이렌, 4-(페닐뷰틸)스타이렌 등의 치환기를 갖는 비닐 방향족류; m-다이비닐벤젠, p-다이비닐벤젠, 비스(4-비닐페닐)메테인 등의 다작용 비닐 방향족류 등을 들 수 있다.
쇄상 올레핀의 예로서는, 에틸렌; 프로필렌, 1-뷰텐, 1-펜텐, 1-헥센, 3-메틸-1-뷰텐, 3-메틸-1-펜텐, 3-에틸-1-펜텐, 4-메틸-1-펜텐, 4-메틸-1-헥센, 4,4-다이메틸-1-헥센, 4,4-다이메틸-1-펜텐, 4-에틸-1-헥센, 3-에틸-1-헥센, 1-옥텐, 1-데센, 1-도데센, 1-테트라데센, 1-헥사데센, 1-옥타데센, 1-에이코센 등의 탄소수 2 내지 20의 α-올레핀; 1,4-헥사다이엔, 4-메틸-1,4-헥사다이엔, 5-메틸-1,4-헥사다이엔, 1,7-옥타다이엔 등의 비공액 다이엔 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 단량체는 각각 단독으로 또는 2종 이상을 조합하여 이용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 환상 올레핀계 중합체는, 이들 각 단량체를 임의로 조합하여 중합함으로써 형성할 수 있다. 또한, 수득된 중합체의 환상 구조가 불포화 결합을 가질 때는 이것을 수소화함으로써 포화의 환상 구조로 하는 것도 가능하다.
상기 각 단량체의 중합 방법은 통상적인 방법을 따르면 좋으며, 예컨대 개환 중합법이나 부가 중합법이 채용된다. 중합 촉매로서는, 예컨대 몰리브덴, 루테늄, 오스뮴 등의 금속 착체가 적합하게 사용된다. 이들 중합 촉매는 각각 단독으로 또는 2종 이상을 조합하여 이용할 수 있다. 예컨대, 환상 올레핀 단량체의 개환 (공)중합체를 얻는 경우, 중합 촉매의 양은 중합 촉매 중의 금속 화합물:환상 올레핀 단량체의 몰비로 통상 1:100 내지 1:2,000,000, 바람직하게는 1:500 내지 1:1,000,000, 보다 바람직하게는 1:1,000 내지 1:500,000의 범위이다.
프로톤성 극성기를 갖지 않는 환상 올레핀계 중합체에 프로톤성 극성기를 도입하기 위한 변성제로서는, 통상 한 분자내에 반응성의 탄소-탄소 불포화 결합과 프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 화합물이 사용된다. 이러한 화합물의 구체예로서는, 아크릴산, 메타크릴산, 안겔산, 티글산, 올레산, 엘라이드산, 에루크산, 브라시드산, 말레산, 푸마르산, 시트라콘산, 메사콘산, 이타콘산, 아트로프산, 신남산 등의 불포화 카복실산; 알릴알코올, 메틸비닐메탄올, 크로틸알코올, 메탈릴알코올, 1-페닐에텐-1-올, 2-프로판-1-올, 3-뷰텐-1-올, 3-뷰텐-2-올, 3-메틸-3-뷰텐-1-올, 3-메틸-2-뷰텐-1-올, 2-메틸-3-뷰텐-2-올, 2-메틸-3-뷰텐-1-올, 4-펜텐-1-올, 4-메틸-4-펜텐-1-올, 2-헥센-1-올 등의 불포화 알코올 등을 들 수 있다. 변성 반응은 통상적인 방법에 따르면 좋으며, 통상 라디칼 발생제의 존재 하에서 행해진다. 이들 변성제는 각각 단독으로 이용할 수도 있고 2종 이상을 병용할 수도 있다.
상기 프로톤성 극성기 함유 환상 올레핀계 중합체의 제법에 있어서, 프로톤성 극성기 대신에 그의 전구체를 사용할 수도 있다. 즉, 프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 단량체 대신에 그의 프로톤성 극성기의 전구체를 갖는 단량체를 사용할 수도 있다. 또한, 변성제로서 프로톤성 극성기 대신에 그의 전구체를 갖는 변성제를 사용할 수 있다.
프로톤성 극성기의 전구체는 그 종류에 따라 빛이나 열에 의한 분해, 가수분해 등의 화학 반응에 의해 프로톤성 극성기로 변환된다.
예컨대, 프로톤성 극성기 함유 환상 올레핀계 중합체에서의 프로톤성 극성기를 카복실기로 하는 경우, 프로톤성 극성기의 전구체로서 에스터기를 사용하고, 이어서 적절한 카복실기로 변환하면 좋다.
본 발명에서 사용하는 환상 올레핀계 중합체의 중량평균분자량(Mw)은 통상 1,000 내지 1,000,000, 바람직하게는 5,000 내지 150,000, 보다 바람직하게는 2,000 내지 10,000의 범위이다.
본 발명에서 사용하는 환상 올레핀계 중합체의 분자량 분포는 중량평균분자량/수평균분자량(Mw/Mn)의 비로 통상 4 이하, 바람직하게는 3 이하, 보다 바람직하게는 2.5 이하이다.
본 발명에서 사용하는 환상 올레핀계 중합체의 요오드가는 통상 200 이하, 바람직하게는 50 이하, 보다 바람직하게는 10 이하이다. 환상 올레핀계 중합체의 요오드가가 이 범위에 있으면, 특히 내열형상 유지성이 우수하여 적합하다.
절연층(43)의 두께는 특별히 한정되지 않으며, 통상 0.1 내지 100㎛, 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 50㎛, 보다 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 30㎛의 범위이다.
센싱 전극은 제1 방향으로 형성된 제1 패턴(41) 및 제2 방향으로 단위 패턴이 이격되어 형성된 제2 패턴(42), 그리고 제2 패턴의 이격된 단위 패턴을 연결하는 브릿지 패턴(44)을 포함할 수 있다.
절연층(43)은 브릿지 패턴(44)과 제1 패턴(41)의 교차부에만 섬 형상으로 위치할 수도 있고, 브릿지 패턴(44)과 제1 패턴(41)의 교차부를 포함하는 층에 층 형상으로 위치할 수도 있다. 절연층(43)이 층 형상으로 위치하는 경우에는 브릿지 패턴(44)은 절연층(43)에 존재하는 컨택홀(45)을 통해 제2 패턴(42)과 연결될 수 있다.
적층 순서는 특별히 한정되지 않으며, 제1패턴(41)과 제2 패턴(42), 절연층(43) 및 브릿지 패턴(44)의 순으로 적층될 수도 있고, 반대로 브릿지 패턴(44), 절연층(43), 제1 패턴(41)과 제2 패턴(42)의 순으로 적층될 수도 있다.
본 발명의 필름 터치 센서는 상기 전극 패턴층(40) 상측에 부착된 기재 필름(50)을 더 포함할 수 있다.
기재 필름(50)으로는 당 분야에 널리 사용되는 소재로 제조된 투명 필름이 제한되지 않고 사용될 수 있으며, 예를 들면, 셀룰로오스 에스테르(예: 셀룰로오스 트리아세테이트, 셀룰로오스 프로피오네이트, 셀룰로오스 부티레이트, 셀룰로오스 아세테이트 프로피오네이트, 및 니트로셀룰로오스), 폴리이미드, 폴리카보네이트, 폴리에스테르(예: 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트, 폴리-1,4-시클로헥산디메틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리에틸렌 1,2-디페녹시에탄-4,4'-디카르복실레이트 및 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리스티렌(예: 신디오택틱(syndiotactic) 폴리스티렌), 폴리올레핀(예: 폴리프로필렌, 폴리에틸렌 및 폴리메틸펜텐), 폴리술폰, 폴리에테르 술폰, 폴리아릴레이트, 폴리에테르-이미드, 폴리메틸메타아크릴레이트, 폴리에테르 케톤, 폴리비닐알코올 및 폴리염화비닐로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 단독 또는 이들의 혼합물로 제조된 필름일 수 있다.
또한, 투명 필름은 등방성 필름 또는 위상차 필름일 수 있다.
등방성 필름일 경우 면내 위상차(Ro, Ro=[(nx-ny)d], nx, ny는 필름 평면 내의 주굴절률, nz는 필름 두께 방향의 굴절률, d는 필름 두께이다) 가 40nm 이하이고, 15nm 이하가 바람직하며, 두께방향 위상차(Rth, Rth=[(nx+ny)/2-nz]d) 가 -90nm 내지 +75nm이며, 바람직하게는 -80nm 내지 +60nm, 특히 -70nm 내지 +45nm가 바람직하다.
위상차 필름은 고분자필름의 일축 연신, 이축 연신, 고분자코팅, 액정코팅의 방법으로 제조된 필름이며, 일반적으로 디스플레이의 시야각보상, 색감개선, 빛샘개선, 색미조절 등의 광학특성 향상 및 조절을 위하여 사용된다.
또한, 기재 필름(50)으로 편광판을 사용할 수도 있다.
편광판은 폴리비닐알콜계 편광자의 일면 또는 양면에 편광자 보호필름이 부착된 것일 수 있다.
또한, 기재 필름(50)으로 보호필름을 사용할 수도 있다.
보호필름은 고분자 수지로 이루어진 필름의 적어도 일면에 점착층을 포함하는 필름이거나 폴리프로필렌 등의 자가점착성을 가진 필름일 수 있으며, 터치 센서 표면의 보호, 공정정 개선을 위하여 사용될 수 있다.
기재 필름(50)의 광투과율은 바람직하게는 85% 이상이며, 보다 바람직하게는 90% 이상일 수 있다. 또한, 상기 기재 필름(50)은 JIS K7136에 따라 측정되는 전체 헤이즈값이 10% 이하인 것이 바람직하고, 7% 이하인 것이 보다 바람직하다.
상기 기재 필름(50)의 두께는 제한되지 않지만 바람직하게는 30 내지 150㎛이며, 보다 바람직하게는 70 내지 120 ㎛이다.
기재필름(50)은 점접착층(60)을 통해 부착될 수 있다.
점접착층(60)은 점착층 또는 접착층을 의미한다.
점착제 또는 접착제로는 당 분야에 공지된 열경화 또는 광경화성 점착제 또는 접착제를 제한없이 사용할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 폴리에스테르계, 폴리에테르계, 우레탄계, 에폭시계, 실리콘계, 아크릴계 등의 열경화 또는 광경화성 점착제 또는 접착제를 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 필름 터치 센서는 전극 패턴층(40)과 기재 필름(50) 사이에 패시베이션층(70)을 더 포함할 수 있다.
패시베이션층(70)은 전극 패턴층이 외부환경(수분, 공기 등)에 의해 오염되는 것을 방지하기 위한다.
패시베이션층(70)은 실리콘 산화물과 같은 금속 산화물, 아크릴계 수지를 포함하는 투명한 감광성 수지 조성물, 열경화성 수지 조성물 등을 사용하여 필요한 패턴으로 형성될 수 있다.
패시베이션층(70)은 적절한 두께를 가질 수 있으며, 예를 들면 2,000nm 이하일 수 있다. 따라서, 예를 들면 0 내지 2,000nm일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명은 상기 필름 터치 센서를 포함하는 화상 표시 장치를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명의 필름 터치 센서는 통상의 액정 표시 장치뿐만 아니라, 전계 발광 표시 장치, 플라스마 표시 장치, 전계 방출 표시 장치 등 각종 화상 표시 장치에 적용이 가능하다.
또한, 본 발명의 필름 터치 센서는 굴곡 특성이 우수한 바, 상기 화상 표시 장치는 플렉서블 화상 표시 장치일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명은 필름 터치 센서의 제조 방법을 제공한다.
도 3 및 4는 본 발명의 일 구현예에 따른 필름 터치 센서의 제조 방법의 개략적인 공정도이다. 이는 후술할 패시베이션층의 형성 및 기재 필름의 부착 단계를 포함하는 경우의 일 구현예로서, 본 발명이 이에 제한되는 것은 아니다.
이하 도면을 참조하여 상세히 설명한다.
먼저, 도 3 (a)와 같이, 캐리어 기판(10) 상에 분리층(20)을 형성한다.
캐리어 기판(10)으로는 공정 중에 쉽게 휘거나 뒤틀리지 않고 고정될 수 있도록 적정 강도를 제공하며 열이나 화학 처리에 영향이 거의 없는 재료라면 특별한 제한이 없이 사용될 수 있다. 예를 들면 글라스, 석영, 실리콘 웨이퍼, 서스 등이 사용될 수 있으며, 바람직하게는 글라스가 사용될 수 있다.
분리층(20)은 전술한 고분자 소재로 형성될 수 있다.
금속 소재로 형성되는 전극 패턴층(40)의 경우 캐리어 기판(10)으로부터의 박리가 어려울 수 있는데, 분리층(20)의 경우 캐리어 기판(10)으로부터 잘 박리되므로, 분리층(20)을 형성하는 경우 캐리어 기판(10)으로부터 박리시에 터치 센서에 가해지는 충격이 적어 전극 패턴층(40) 손상 등의 문제를 줄일 수 있다.
상기 박리시 가해지는 물리적 손상을 최소화한다는 측면에서 바람직하게는 분리층(20)은 캐리어 기판(10)에 대한 박리력이 1N/25mm 이하일 수 있다.
분리층(20)의 형성 방법은 특별히 한정되지 않고, 슬릿 코팅법, 나이프 코팅법, 스핀 코팅법, 캐스팅법, 마이크로 그라비아 코팅법, 그라비아 코팅법, 바 코팅법, 롤 코팅법, 와이어 바 코팅법, 딥 코팅법, 스프레이 코팅법, 스크린 인쇄법, 그라비아 인쇄법, 플렉소 인쇄법, 오프셋 인쇄법, 잉크젯 코팅법, 디스펜서 인쇄법, 노즐 코팅법, 모세관 코팅법 등의 당 분야에 공지된 방법에 의할 수 있다.
전술한 방법에 의해 분리층(20)을 형성한 이후에, 추가적인 경화 공정을 더 거칠 수 있다.
분리층(20)의 경화 방법은 특별히 한정되지 않고 광경화 또는 열경화에 의하거나, 상기 2가지 방법을 모두 사용 가능하다. 광경화 및 열경화를 모두 수행시 그 순서는 특별히 한정되지 않는다.
다음으로, 도 3 (b)와 같이, 상기 분리층(20) 상에 보호층(30)을 형성한다.
보호층(30)은 전술한 소재로 형성될 수 있으며, 그 형성 방법도 특별히 한정되지 않고 물리적 증착법, 화학적 증착법, 플라즈마 증착법, 플라즈마 중합법, 열 증착법, 열 산화법, 양극 산화법, 클러스터 이온빔 증착법, 스크린 인쇄법, 그라비아 인쇄법, 플렉소 인쇄법, 오프셋 인쇄법, 잉크젯 코팅법, 디스펜서 인쇄법 등의 당 분야에 공지된 방법에 의할 수 있다.
다음으로, 도 3 (c)와 같이, 상기 보호층(30) 상에 전극 패턴층(40)을 형성한다.
전극 패턴층(40)을 형성하는 단계는 하기 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체를 포함하는 절연층 조성물을 도포 및 경화시키는 단계를 포함한다.

본 발명에 따른 절연층(43)은 상기 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체의 경화층으로서, 탄성이 우수하여 캐리어 기판으로부터의 박리시에 발생할 수 있는 크랙을 줄일 수 있다.
절연층(43)의 탄성은 예를 들면 탄성률이 2.8 내지 4.5GPa일 수 있다. 탄성률이 2.8GPa 미만이면 전극 형성시에 절연층(43)에 주름이 발생할 수 있고, 4.5GPa 초과이면 캐리어 기판으로부터 박리시에 크랙이 발생할 수 있다. 상기 범위의 탄성률은 예를 들면 포스트베이크 온도를 180℃ 이상으로 함으로써 얻어질 수 있다. 우수한 수준의 주름 억제 효과와 박리 억제 효과를 동시에 만족시킨다는 측면에서 바람직하게는 3 내지 4.2GPa일 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체는 유리전이온도가 높다. 예를 들면 100℃ 이상일 수 있고, 바람직하게는 150℃ 이상, 보다 바람직하게는 200℃ 이상, 가장 바람직하게는 250℃ 이상일 수 있다. 상기와 같이 높은 유리전이온도를 가짐으로써, 이를 포함한 절연층이 높은 내열성을 가져, ITO 등의 센싱 전극 형성시의 고온 증착 및 어닐링 공정 시 발생할 수 있는 주름, 크랙, 색상 변화 등의 열 손상을 억제할 수 있다.
또한, 센싱 전극 형성시에 노출될 수 있는 에칭액, 현상액 등 다양한 용제에 대한 내용제성이 우수하다.
그리고 절연층(43)은 투과율이 매우 높다. 예를 들면 투과율이 90% 이상일 수 있고, 바람직하게는 95% 이상, 보다 바람직하게는 97% 이상일 수 있다.
절연층 조성물은 상기 중합체 외에 감방사선성 화합물을 더 포함한다.
감방사선성 화합물은 자외선이나 전자선 등의 방사선의 조사에 의해 화학 반응을 야기할 수 있는 화합물이다.
감방사선성 화합물로서는, 예를 들면 아세토페논 화합물, 트라이아릴설포늄 염, 퀴논다이아지드 화합물 등의 아지드 화합물 등을 들 수 있지만, 바람직하게는 아지드 화합물, 특히 바람직하게는 퀴논다이아지드 화합물을 사용할 수 있다.
퀴논다이아지드 화합물로서는, 예를 들면 퀴논다이아지드 설폰산 할라이드와 페놀성 퀴논다이아지드 설폰산 할라이드와 페놀성 하이드록실기를 갖는 화합물의 에스터 화합물을 이용할 수 있다. 퀴논다이아지드 설폰산 할라이드의 구체예로서는, 1,2-나프토퀴논다이아지드-5-설폰산 클로라이드, 1,2-나프토퀴논다이아지드-4-설폰산 클로라이드, 1,2-벤조퀴논다이아지드-5-설폰산 클로라이드 등을 들 수 있다. 페놀성 하이드록실기를 갖는 화합물의 대표예로서는, 1,1,3-트리스(2,5-다이메틸-4-하이드록시페닐)-3-페닐프로페인, 4,4'-[1-[4-[1-[4-하이드록시페닐]-1-메틸에틸]페닐]에틸리덴]비스페놀 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 이외의 페놀성 하이드록실기를 갖는 화합물로서는, 2,3,4-트라이하이드록시벤조페논, 2,3,4,4'-테트라하이드록시벤조페논, 2-비스(4-하이드록시페닐)프로페인, 트리스(4-하이드록시페닐)메테인, 1,1,1-트리스(4-하이드록시-3-메틸페닐)에테인, 1,1,2,2-테트라키스(4-하이드록시페닐)에테인, 노볼락 수지의 올리고머, 페놀성 하이드록실기를 하나 이상 갖는 화합물과 다이사이클로펜타디엔을 공중합하여 얻어지는 올리고머 등을 들 수 있다.
감방사선성 화합물로서 상기 퀴논다이아지드 화합물 외에, 오늄 염, 할로젠화 유기 화합물, α,α'-비스(설폰일)다이아조메테인계 화합물, α-카보닐-α'-설폰일다이아조메테인계 화합물, 설폰 화합물, 유기산 에스터 화합물, 유기산 아마이드 화합물, 유기산 이미드 화합물 등 공지된 것을 추가로 사용가능하다.
이들 감방사선성 화합물은 각각 단독으로 또는 2종 이상을 조합하여 이용할 수 있다.
감방사선성 화합물의 사용량은 예를 들면 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체 100중량부에 대하여 1 내지 100중량부, 바람직하게는 5 내지 50중량부, 보다 바람직하게는 10 내지 40중량부의 범위이다. 감방사선성 화합물의 사용량이 이 범위에 있으면, 기판 상에 형성시킨 수지막을 패턴화할 때에, 방사선 조사부와 방사선 미조사부의 현상액에 대한 용해도차가 커지고, 현상에 의한 패턴화가 용이하고, 또한 방사선 감도도 높아져 적합하다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 절연층 조성물에는 본 발명의 원하는 효과의 발현이 저해되지 않는 범위이면, 소망에 따라 환상 올레핀계 중합체 이외의 수지 성분이나, 가교제, 기타 배합제 등의 기타 성분을 포함할 수도 있다.
환상 올레핀계 중합체 이외의 수지 성분으로서는, 예컨대 스타이렌계 수지, 염화비닐계 수지, 아크릴계 수지, 폴리페닐렌에터 수지, 폴리아릴렌설파이드 수지, 폴리카보네이트 수지, 폴리에스터 수지, 폴리아마이드 수지, 폴리에터설폰 수지, 폴리설폰 수지, 폴리이미드 수지, 고무, 엘라스토머 등을 들 수 있다.
가교제로서는 환상 올레핀계 중합체와 반응할 수 있는 작용기를 분자내에 2개 이상, 바람직하게는 3개 이상 갖는 것이 사용된다. 가교제가 갖는 작용기는 환상 올레핀계 중합체 중의 작용기나 불포화 결합 등과 반응할 수 있는 것이면, 특별히 한정되지 않는다. 환상 올레핀계 중합체가 프로톤성 극성기를 갖는 경우, 이 극성기와 반응할 수 있는 바람직한 작용기로서는, 예컨대 아미노기, 카복실기, 하이드록실기, 에폭시기, 아이소사이아네이트기 등을 들 수 있고, 보다 바람직하게는 아미노기, 에폭시기 및 아이소사이아네이트기이며, 더욱 바람직하게는 에폭시기이다.
이러한 가교제의 구체예로서는, 헥사메틸렌다이아민 등의 지방족 폴리아민류; 4,4'-다이아미노다이페닐에터, 다이아미노다이페닐설폰 등의 방향족 폴리아민류; 2,6-비스(4'-아지드벤잘)사이클로헥산온, 4,4'-다이아지도다이페닐설폰 등의 아지드류; 나일론, 폴리헥사메틸렌다이아민테레프탈아미드, 폴리헥사메틸렌아이소프탈아마이드 등의 폴리아마이드류; N,N,N',N',N",N"-(헥사알콕시메틸)멜라민 등의 멜라민류; N,N',N",N"'-(테트라알콕시메틸)글라이콜라우릴 등의 클라이콜라우릴류; 에틸렌글라이콜다이(메트)아크릴레이트 등의 아크릴레이트 화합물; 헥사메틸렌다이아이소사이아네이트계 폴리아이소사이아네이트, 아이소포론다이아이소사이아네이트계 폴리아이소사이아네이트, 톨릴렌다이이소사이아네이트계 폴리아이소사이아네이트, 수첨 다이페닐메테인다이아이소사이아네이트 등의 아이소사이아네이트계 화합물; 1,4-다이-(하이드록시메틸)사이클로헥세인, 1,4-다이-(하이드록시메틸)노보네인; 1,3,4-트라이하이드록시사이클로헥세인; 각종 다작용 에폭시 화합물 등을 들 수 있다.
다작용 에폭시 화합물의 추가의 구체적인 예로서는, 에폭시기를 2개 이상, 바람직하게는 에폭시기를 3개 이상 갖는 에폭시 화합물로서, 지환식 구조를 갖는 것, 크레졸 노볼락 골격을 갖는 것, 페놀 노보락 골격을 갖는 것, 비스페놀 A 골격을 갖는 것, 나프탈렌 골격을 갖는 것 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 중에서도, 환상 올레핀계 중합체와의 상용성이 양호하기 때문에 특히 지환식 구조를 갖고, 또한 에폭시기를 2개 이상, 보다 바람직하게는 3개 이상 갖는 다작용 에폭시 화합물이 바람직하다.
가교제로서는 그 중에서도 다작용 에폭시 화합물이 적합하다. 그의 구체예로서는, 비스페놀 A형 에폭시 수지, 비스페놀 F형 에폭시 수지, 페놀 노볼락형 에폭시 수지, 크레졸 노볼락형 에폭시 수지, 폴리페놀형 에폭시 수지, 환상 지방족 에폭시 수지, 지방족 글라이시딜 에터, 에폭시 아크릴레이트 중합체 등을 들 수 있다.
가교제의 분자량은 특별히 한정되지 않지만, 통상 100 내지 100,000, 바람직하게는 500 내지 50,000, 보다 바람직하게는 1,000 내지 10,000이다. 가교제는 각각 단독으로 또는 2종 이상을 조합하여 이용할 수 있다.
기타 배합제로서는, 예컨대 증감제, 계면활성제, 잠재적 산 발생제, 대전방지제, 산화방지제, 접착 조제, 소포제, 안료, 염료 등을 들 수 있다.
증감제의 구체예로서는, 예컨대 2H-피리드-(3,2-b)-1,4-옥사진-3(4H)-온류, 10H-피리드-(3,2-b)-1,4-벤조티아진류, 우라졸류, 하이단토인류, 바비투르산류, 글라이신 무수물류, 1-하이드록시벤조트라이아졸류, 알록산류, 말레이미드류 등을 바람직하게 들 수 있다.
계면활성제는 스트리에이션(striation)(도포 줄 자국)의 방지, 현상성의 향상 등의 목적으로 사용된다. 그 구체예로서는 폴리옥시에틸렌라우릴에터, 폴리옥시에틸렌스테아릴에터, 폴리옥시에틸렌올레인에터 등의 폴리옥시에틸렌알킬에터류; 폴리옥시에틸렌옥틸페닐에터, 폴리옥시에틸렌노닐페닐에터 등의 폴리옥시에틸렌아릴에터류; 폴리옥시에틸렌다이라우레이트, 폴리옥시에틸렌다이스테아레이트 등의 폴리옥시에틸렌다이알킬에스터류 등의 비이온계 계면활성제; 불소계 계면활성제; 실리콘계 계면활성제; 메타크릴산 공중합체계 계면활성제; 아크릴산 공중합체계 계면활성제 등을 들 수 있다.
잠재적 산 발생제는, 본 발명에 따른 절연층 조성물의 내열성 및 내약품성을 향상시킬 목적으로 사용된다.
그의 구체예로서는 가열에 의해 산을 발생하는 양이온 중합 촉매인, 설포늄 염, 벤조티아졸륨 염, 암모늄 염, 포스포늄 염 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 중에서도, 설포늄 염 및 벤조티아졸륨 염이 바람직하다.
기타 상기 배합제로서는 공지된 것이 임의로 사용된다.
본 발명에 따른 절연층 조성물의 형태는 특별히 한정되지 않고, 용액 또는 분산액이어도 좋고, 고체상이어도 좋다. 본 발명에 따른 절연층 조성물은 용액 또는 분산액의 형태로 사용하는 것이 적합하다.
본 발명에 따른 절연층 조성물의 조제 방법은 특별히 한정되지 않고, 본 발명에 따른 절연층 조성물의 각 구성 성분(중합체 및 감방사선성 화합물, 또한 소망에 따라 기타 성분)을 혼합하면 바람직하지만, 적합하게는 이들 성분을 용매에 용해 또는 분산시켜 용액 또는 분산액으로서 수득하면 좋다. 수득된 용액 또는 분산액으로부터 필요에 따라 용매를 제거할 수도 있다.

이들 용매는 각각 단독으로 이용할 수도 있고 또는 2종 이상을 병용할 수도 있다. 용매의 사용량은 중합체 100중량부에 대하여 통상 20 내지 10,000중량부, 바람직하게는 50 내지 5,000중량부, 보다 바람직하게는 100 내지 1,000중량부의 범위이다.
본 발명에 따른 절연층 조성물을 구성하는 각 성분의 용매에 대한 용해 또는 분산 방법은 통상적인 방법을 따르면 좋다. 구체적으로는, 교반자와 마그네틱 스터러를 이용한 교반, 고속 균질화기, 디스펄젼, 유성교반기, 2축 교반기, 볼 밀, 롤 밀 등을 사용하여 행할 수 있다. 또한, 각 성분을 용매에 용해 또는 분산시킨 후에, 예컨대 구멍 직경이 0.5㎛ 정도인 필터 등을 이용하여 여과할 수도 있다.
본 발명의 감방사선성 수지 조성물을 구성하는 각 성분을 용매에 용해 또는 분산시킬 때의 고형분 농도는 통상 1 내지 70중량%, 바람직하게는 5 내지 50중량%, 보다 바람직하게는 10 내지 40중량%이다. 고형분 농도가 이 범위에 있으면, 용해 안정성, 기판 상에 대한 도포성이나 형성되는 수지막의 막 두께 균일성, 평탄성 등이 고도로 균형있게 될 수 있다.
절연층 조성물의 도포 방법은 특별히 한정되지 않고, 슬릿 코팅법, 나이프 코팅법, 스핀 코팅법, 캐스팅법, 마이크로 그라비아 코팅법, 그라비아 코팅법, 바 코팅법, 롤 코팅법, 와이어 바 코팅법, 딥 코팅법, 스프레이 코팅법, 스크린 인쇄법, 그라비아 인쇄법, 플렉소 인쇄법, 오프셋 인쇄법, 잉크젯 코팅법, 디스펜서 인쇄법, 노즐 코팅법, 모세관 코팅법 등의 당 분야에 공지된 방법에 의할 수 있다.
도포된 절연층 조성물을 경화시킴으로써 절연층(43)의 형성이 가능하다.
경화는 예를 들면 프리베이크 단계, 노광 단계, 현상 단계 및 포스트베이크 단계를 포함하는 공정에 의해 수행 가능하다.
프리베이크는 도포된 절연층 조성물 중 용매 성분을 휘발시켜 수지막을 형성하는 공정이다.
프리베이크 방법은 특별히 제한되지 않으며, 예를 들면 핫 플레이트나 오븐 내에서 가열하거나, 적외선 조사 등에 의할 수 있고, 바람직하게는 컨벡션 오븐에 의할 수 있다.
프리베이크는 예를 들면 100℃ 내지 120℃의 온도로 수행될 수 있다. 온도가 100℃ 미만이면 용매 성분이 남아서 코팅 불량을 발생시킬 수 있고, 120℃ 초과이면 감도가 저하되거나, 절연층의 투과도가 저하될 수 있다.
프리베이크는 예를 들면 1분 내지 3분간 수행될 수 있다. 시간이 1분 미만이면 용매 성분이 남아서 잔막율이 저하되고, 3분이 초과되면 잔사가 남아 패턴 형성이 곤란하다.
노광시에 수지막에 조사되는 활성 방사선으로서는, 감방사선성 화합물을 활성화시키고, 감방사선성 화합물을 포함하는 감방사선성 수지 조성물의 알칼리 가용성을 변화시킬 수 있는 것이면 특별히 한정되지 않는다. 구체적으로는, 자외선, g선이나 i선 등의 단일파장의 자외선, KrF 엑시머레이저 광, ArF 엑시머레이저 광 등의 광선; 전자선과 같은 입자선 등을 이용할 수 있다. 이들 활성 방사선을 선택적으로 수지막 상에 조사하여 잠상 패턴을 형성하기 위해서는 통상적인 방법을 따르면 좋으며, 예컨대 축소 투영 노광 장치 등에 의해, 자외선, g선, i선, KrF 엑시머레이저 광, ArF 엑시머레이저 광 등의 광선을 원하는 마스크 패턴을 통해서 조사하는 방법, 전자선 등의 입자선에 의해 묘획하는 방법 등을 이용할 수 있다. 활성 방사선으로서 광선을 이용하는 경우는, 단일 파장광이어도 좋고, 혼합 파장광이어도 좋다.
조사 조건은 사용하는 활성 방사선에 따라 적절히 선택되지만, 예컨대 파장 200 내지 450㎚의 광선을 사용하는 경우, 조사량은 통상 10 내지 1,000mJ/cm2, 바람직하게는 50 내지 500mJ/cm2의 범위이며, 조사 시간과 조도에 따라 결정된다.
현상 단계에서는 통상 알칼리성 화합물의 수성 용액(알칼리 수성 용액)이 현상액으로서 사용된다.
알칼리성 화합물은, 무기 화합물일 수도 있고 유기 화합물일 수도 있다. 알칼리성 화합물로서는, 예컨대 알칼리 금속염, 아민, 암모늄염을 사용할 수 있다. 이들 화합물의 구체예로서는, 수산화나트륨, 수산화칼륨, 탄산나트륨, 규산나트륨, 메타규산나트륨 등의 알칼리 금속염; 암모니아; 에틸아민, n-프로필아민 등의 1급 아민; 다이에틸아민, 다이-n-프로필아민 등의 2급 아민; 트라이에틸아민, 메틸다이에틸아민 등의 3급 아민; 테트라메틸암모늄하이드록사이드, 테트라에틸암모늄하이드록사이드, 테트라뷰틸암모늄하이드록사이드, 콜린 등의 4급 암모늄염; 다이메틸에탄올아민, 트라이에탄올아민 등의 알코올아민; 피롤, 피페리딘, 1,8-다이아자바이사이클로[5.4.0]운데카-7-엔, 1,5-다이아자바이사이클로[4.3.0]노나-5-엔, N-메틸피롤리돈 등의 환상 아민류 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 알칼리성 화합물은 각각 단독으로 또는 2종 이상을 조합하여 이용할 수 있다.
알칼리 수성 용액의 수성 매체로서는, 물이나, 메탄올, 에탄올 등의 수용성 유기 용매를 사용할 수 있다. 알칼리 수성 용액에는 계면활성제 등을 적당량 첨가할 수도 있다.
노광된 수지막에 현상액을 접촉시키는 방법으로서는, 예컨대 패들법, 스프레이법, 딥핑법 등의 방법이 사용된다. 현상의 조건은 통상 0℃ 내지 100℃, 바람직하게는 5℃ 내지 55℃, 보다 바람직하게는 10℃ 내지 30℃의 범위에서, 통상 30 내지 180초간의 범위에서 적절히 선택된다.
이후, 포스트베이크에 의해 현상된 수지막을 경화시킴으로써 절연층(43)을 형성한다.
포스트베이크 방법은 특별히 제한되지 않으며, 예를 들면 핫 플레이트나 오븐 내에서 가열하거나, 적외선 조사 등에 의할 수 있고, 바람직하게는 컨벡션 오븐에 의할 수 있다.
포스트베이크는 예를 들면 180℃ 내지 250℃의 온도로 수행될 수 있다. 온도가 180℃ 미만이면 탄성율이 상승되어 캐리어 기판으로부터 박리시에 크렉을 유발하고 하고, 250℃ 초과이면 투과율이 저하된다.
포스트베이크는 예를 들면 20분 내지 50분간 수행될 수 있다. 20분 미만이면 경화가 충분하지 않아서 전극 형성시에 절연층(43)에 주름이 발생하고, 60분을 초과이면 투과율이 저하된다.
보다 구체적으로, 전극 패턴층(40)을 형성하는 단계는 센싱 전극을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함한다.
그 순서는 구체적으로 한정되지 않으며, 제1 전극(41) 및 제2 전극(42), 절연층(43) 및 브릿지 전극(44)의 순으로 수행될 수도 있고, 브릿지 전극(44), 절연층(43), 제1 전극(41) 및 제2 전극(42)의 순으로 수행될 수도 있다.
센싱 전극은 전술한 소재로, 보호층(30)의 형성 방법과 동일한 방법으로 형성 가능하다.
전극 패턴층(40)이 낮은 저항을 갖도록 한다는 측면에서 바람직하게는 전극 패턴층(40)은 150℃ 내지 250℃의 고온 공정을 거쳐 형성될 수 있다. 구체적인 예를 들면 150℃ 내지 250℃의 증착 공정으로 형성되거나, 상온 증착 및 150℃ 내지 250℃의 열처리 공정으로 형성된 것일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되는 것은 아니다.
다음으로, 도 4 (f)와 같이, 상기 분리층(20)을 캐리어 기판(10)으로부터 박리한다.
전술한 공정을 거치면 캐리어 기판(10) 상에 분리층(20), 보호층(30), 전극 패턴층(40) 및 절연층의 순으로 적층된 적층체가 얻어질 수 있고, 분리층(20)을 캐리어 기판(10)으로부터 박리하여, 상기 적층체를 필름 터치 센서로 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 필름 터치 센서의 제조 방법은 도 4 (d), (e)와 같이, 상기 전극 패턴층(40) 상측에 기재 필름(50)을 부착하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 전극 패턴층(40) 상에 점접착층(60)을 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 점접착층(60) 상에 기재 필름(50)을 부착하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
이 경우, 상기 박리 공정은 기재 필름(50)의 부착 이전 또는 부착 이후에 수행될 수 있다. 도 4는 기재 필름(50)의 부착 이후에 박리 공정이 진행되는 경우를 예시한 것이다.
점접착층(60)은 전술한 점착제 또는 접착제로 형성될 수 있는 것으로서, 슬릿 코팅법, 나이프 코팅법, 스핀 코팅법, 캐스팅법, 마이크로 그라비아 코팅법, 그라비아 코팅법, 바 코팅법, 롤 코팅법, 와이어 바 코팅법, 딥 코팅법, 스프레이 코팅법, 스크린 인쇄법, 그라비아 인쇄법, 플렉소 인쇄법, 오프셋 인쇄법, 잉크젯 코팅법, 디스펜서 인쇄법, 노즐 코팅법, 모세관 코팅법 등의 도포 방법에 의해 전극 패턴층(40) 상에 도포되고, 건조 또는 경화되어 형성될 수 있다.
점접착층(60)은 전술한 탄성률 범위 및 박리력 범위를 가지는 것이 상기 박리 공정시에 필름 터치 센서의 크랙 발생 억제 측면에서 바람직하다.
또한, 본 발명은 도 3(c)와 같이, 상기 전극 패턴층(40) 상에 패시베이션층(70)을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
패시베이션층(70)은 전술한 소재로 보호층(30)의 형성 방법과 동일한 방법으로 형성 가능하다.
이하, 본 발명의 이해를 돕기 위하여 바람직한 실시예를 제시하나, 이들 실시예는 본 발명을 예시하는 것일 뿐 첨부된 특허청구범위를 제한하는 것이 아니며, 본 발명의 범주 및 기술사상 범위 내에서 실시예에 대한 다양한 변경 및 수정이 가능함은 당업자에게 있어서 명백한 것이며, 이러한 변형 및 수정이 첨부된 특허청구범위에 속하는 것도 당연한 것이다.
합성예 1
8-하이드록시카보닐테트라사이클로도데센 60부, N-페닐-(5-노보넨-2,3-다이카복시이미드) 40부, 1-헥센 1.3부, (1,3-다이메틸이미다졸리딘-2-일리덴)(트라이사이클로헥실포스핀)벤질리덴루테늄 다이클로라이드 0.05부 및 테트라하이드로퓨란 400부를 질소 치환한 유리제 내압 반응기에 투입하고, 교반하면서 70℃에서 2시간 반응시켜수지 용액(a)(고형분 농도: 약 20%)을 수득했다. 이 수지 용액(a)을 교반기 부착 오토클레이브내로 옮기고, 수소압력 4MPa, 온도 150℃에서 5시간 반응시켜 수소 첨가된 수지(수소 첨가율 99%)를 포함하는 수지 용액(b)(고형분 농도: 약 20%)을 수득했다. 다음으로, 수지 용액(b) 100부 및 활성탄 분말 1부를 내열제의 오토클레이브내로 넣고, 수소압력 4MPa 하에 온도 150℃에서 3시간 반응시켰다. 반응 종료후, 반응액을 구멍직경 0.2㎛의 불소 수지제 필터로 여과하여 활성탄을 분리함으로써 수지 용액(c)을 수득했다. 이 때, 용액은 순조롭게 여과되었다. 이어서, 수지 용액(c)을 에틸알콜 중에 가했다. 생성된 조각을 건조시켜 수지(1)를 수득했다. 수지(1)의 폴리아이소프렌 환산의 Mw는 5,500, Mn은 3,200이었다. 또한, 수소 첨가율은 99%였다.
중량평균분자량(Mw) 측정에 대해서는 GPC법을 이용하여 이하의 조건으로 행하였다.

합성예 2
8-메틸-8-메톡시카보닐테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]도데카-3-엔 100부, 1-헥센 1.3부, 1,3-다이메틸이미다졸린-2-일리덴(트라이사이클로헥실포스핀)벤질리덴루테늄 다이클로라이드 0.05부 및 사이클로헥세인 400부를 질소 치환한 유리제 내압 반응기에 투입하였다. 이 혼합물을 합성예 1과 같은 방법으로 중합 반응 및 수소첨가 반응을 수행하여 수지(A)를 수득했다. 수지(A)의 Mw는 5,300, Mn은 3,200이었다. 또한, 수소 첨가율은 99%였다. 다음으로, 상기에서 얻은 수지(A) 100부, N-메틸피롤리돈 100부, 프로필렌글라이콜 500부, 85% 수산화칼륨 84.5부를 반응기에 투입하였다. 이 혼합물을 4.5시간 동안 190℃에서 가열 교반했다. 수득된 반응액을 대량의 물, 테트라하이드로퓨란 및 염산의 혼합 용액에 부어 가수 분해물을 응고시켰다. 응고 폴리머를 수세, 건조하여 가수분해된 수지(2)를 수득했다. 수지(2)의 가수 분해율은 95%였다.
합성예 3
5-(2-하이드록시에톡시카보닐)바이사이클로[2.2.1]헵토-2-엔 100부, 1-헥센 1.3부, 1,3-다이메틸이미다졸리딘-2-일리덴(트라이사이클로헥실포스핀)벤질리덴루테늄 다이클로라이드 0.05부 및 테트라하이드로퓨란 400부를 질소 치환한 유리제 내압 반응기에 투입하였다. 이 혼합물을 합성예 1과 같은 방법으로 중합 반응 및 수소첨가반응을 수행하여 수지(3)를 수득했다. 수지(3)의 Mw는 5,500, Mn은 3,300이었다. 또한, 수소 첨가율은 99%였다.
합성예 4
8-에틸리덴-테트라사이클로[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]데카-3-엔 100부, 1-헥센 1.3부, 1,3-다이메틸이미다졸리딘-2-일리덴(트라이사이클로헥실포스핀)벤질리덴루테늄 다이클로라이드 0.05부 및 사이클로헥세인 400부를 질소 치환한 유리제 내압 반응기에 투입하였다. 이 혼합물을 합성예 1과 같은 방법으로 중합 반응 및 수소첨가 반응을 하여 수지(B)를 수득했다. 수지(B)의 Mw는 5,500, Mn은 3,200이었다. 또한, 수소 첨가율은 99%였다.
합성예 5
교반기, 온도계 환류 냉각관, 적하 로트 및 질소 도입관을 구비한 플라스크를 준비하고, 한편, N-벤질말레이미드 45 중량부, 메타크릴산 45 중량부, 트리사이클로데실 메타크릴레이트 10 중량부, t-부틸퍼옥시-2-에틸헥사노에이트 4 중량부, 프로필렌글리콜모노메틸에테르아세테이트(이하, "PGMEA"라 함) 40 중량부를 투입후, 교반 혼합하여 모노머 적하 로트를 준비하고, n-도데칸티올 6 중량부, PGMEA 24 중량부를 넣고 교반 혼합하여 연쇄 이동제 적하 로트를 준비했다.
이후 플라스크에 PGMEA 395 중량부를 도입하고 플라스크 내 분위기를 공기에서 질소로 한 후 교반하면서 플라스크의 온도를 90℃까지 승온했다. 이어서 모노머 및 연쇄 이동제를 적하 로트로부터 적하를 개시했다. 적하는, 90℃를 유지하면서, 각각 2h 동안 진행하고 1h 후에 110℃ 승온하여 3h 유지한 뒤, 가스 도입관을 도입시켜, 산소/질소=5/95 (v/v)혼합 가스의 버블링을 개시했다. 이어서, 글리시딜메타크릴레이트 10 중량부, 2,2'-메틸렌비스(4-메틸-6-t-부틸페놀) 0.4 중량부, 트리에틸아민 0.8 중량부를 플라스크내에 투입하여 110℃에서 8시간 반응을 계속하고, 그후 실온까지 냉각하면서 고형분 29.1 중량%, 중량평균분자량 32,000 산가가 114㎎KOH/g인 반응성 알칼리 가용성 수지를 얻었다.
합성예 6
교반기, 온도계 환류 냉각관, 적하 로트 및 질소 도입관을 구비한 플라스크를 준비하고, 프로필렌글리콜모노메틸에테르아세테이트(PGMEA) 300 중량부를 투입 후 교반 하면서 75℃까지 가열한다. 플라스크에 3, 4-에폭시-8-(아크릴로일옥시)트리시클로일[5.2.1.02,6]데칸(EDCPA) 62.5중량부, 아크릴산(AA) 15.1 중량부, 비닐톨루엔 22.4 중량부를 PGMEA 170 중량부에 녹인 용액을 적하 로트를 이용하여 5시간 동안 적하시켰다.
한편, 중합개시제 아조비스이소부티로니트릴 30 중량부를 PGMEA 200 중량부에 용해시킨 용액을 별도의 적하 로트를 이용하여 5시간에 걸쳐서 적하시켰다. 중합개시제의 적하가 완료된 후에, 약 4시간 동안 온도를 유지하면서 그 후 실온까지 냉각하면서 고형분 37.6 중량%, 중량평균분자량 10740, 산가 111㎎KOH/g인 비반응성 알칼리 가용성 수지를 얻었다.
실시예 비교예
(1) 절연층 조성물
하기 표 1에 기재된 성분을 표기된 함량(중량부)대로 혼합한 후, 전체 고형분이 23중량%가 되도록 용매로 희석하고 교반하여 절연층 조성물을 제조하였다.

(2) 필름 터치 센서
두께 700㎛의 소다 라임 글래스(Soda lime Glass)를 캐리어 기판으로 사용하고, 상기 캐리어 기판 상에 멜라민계 수지 50중량부, 신나메이트계 수지 50중량부를 10중량%의 농도로 프로필렌글리콜 모노메틸에터아세테이트(Propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate, PGMEA)에 희석한 분리층 조성물을 두께 300nm로 도포하고, 150℃에서 30분간 건조 처리하여 분리층을 형성하였다.
상기 분리층 상에 보호층 조성물(다관능 아크릴계 모노머 40중량부와 에폭시계 수지 60중량부를 혼합하고 디에틸렌글리콜 메틸에틸에테르(MEDG), PGMEA 및 3-메톡시부탄올을 각각 30중량부, 40중량부, 30중량부로 혼합된 용매에 고형분이 20중량부의 비율을 가지도록 제조)을 두께 2㎛로 도포하고, UV를 200mJ/cm2로 조사하여 광경화를 실시하고, 200℃에서 30분간 건조 경화하여 보호층을 형성하였다.
상기 보호층 상에 ITO를 상온 25℃ 조건에서 35nm 두께로 증착하고, ITO층을 230℃에서 30분 동안 어닐링하여 제1 및 제2 패턴을 형성하였다.
상기 제1 및 제2 패턴 상에 실시예 및 비교예의 조성물로 절연층을 형성하였다. 조성물을 스핀 코터로 두께 2㎛로 도포하고, 컨벡션 오븐으로 110℃에서 2분간 프리베이크하였다. 이후, 프록시미티 얼라이너로 200mj/cm2(i선 기준)으로 노광하고, TMAH 2.38% 현상액으로 현상하였다. 현상후 전선(g, h, i선)기준으로 300mJ/cm2으로 블리칭 노광하였다.
이후, 컨벡션 오븐으로 200℃에서 30분간 포스트베이크하여 절연층을 형성하였다.
다만, 실시예 7은 프리베이크 온도를 90℃로 하였고, 실시예 8은 포스트베이크 온도를 170℃로 하였다.
상기 절연층 상에 은, 구리, 팔라듐 합금으로 브릿지 패턴을 형성하여, 절연층의 컨택홀을 통해 제2 패턴과 연결시켰다.
이후, 상기 전극 패턴층 상에 실리콘 절연물질(SiO2)로 패시베이션층을 형성하였다.
상기 패시베이션층 상에 중합개시제 SP500, 레벨링제 KRM230를 포함하는 모노머 CEL2021P((3,4-Epoxycyclohenaxane)methyl 3,4-Epoxy cyclohexylcarboxylate 50중량부 및 NPGDGE(Neo-Pentyl Glycol DiGlycidyl Ether) 20중량부, 1,6-헥산디올 디아크릴레이트 10중량부, 트리메틸올 프로판 트리아크릴레이트 5중량부, 밀착부여제 KRM0273 10중량부, 희석모노머로서 4-HBVE를 5중량부를 포함하는 점착제 조성물을 60㎛ TAC 필름과 절연층 사이에 스포이드로 도포하고, 롤 라미테이터로 압착하여 점착층의 두께가 2㎛가 되도록 하였다. 상기 접착층에 10mW/cm2 세기의 자외선을 100초간 조사하여 밀착시키고, 80℃ 오븐에서 10분간 건조 후 상온까지 방치하였다.
실험예
1. 투과율 측정
실시예 및 비교예의 상기 필름 터치 센서와는 별개로, 두께 700㎛의 소다 라임 글래스(Soda lime Glass) 상에 실시예 및 비교예와 동일한 방법으로 절연층만을 형성하였다. 상기 절연층의 파장 550 nm에서의 광의 투과율을 분광 광도계(히따찌 세이사꾸쇼 제조, U3210)를 이용하여 측정하였다.
2. 탄성율 측정
실시예 및 비교예의 상기 필름 터치 센서와는 별개로, 두께 700㎛의 소다 라임 글래스(Soda lime Glass) 상에 실시예 및 비교예와 동일한 방법으로 절연층만을 형성하였다. 탄성율은 KS M ISO 6721-4 의 방법에 준하여 측정하였다.
3. 크랙 평가
실시예 및 비교예의 필름 터치 센서 상에 3M #55 테이프(폭 25mm, 길이 10cm)를 붙인 다음, 테이프 폭(25mm) 주위를 커터로 절단하였다. 상기 테이프 끝단을 잡고 필름 터치 센서를 캐리어 기판으로부터 박리하여, 테이프에 전사된 도막의 크랙 발생 여부를 눈으로 관측하였다

X: Crack이 발생한 상태
4. 열안정성 평가
상기 필름 터치 센서와는 별개로, 두께 700㎛의 소다 라임 글래스(Soda lime Glass)를 캐리어 기판 상에 실시예 및 비교예와 동일한 방법으로 절연층만을 형성하였다. 이후, 230℃, 20분 추가 가열을 실시하여 투과율 변화를 측정하였다.
○: 3ΔT% 이하
△: 4~8ΔT%
X: 9ΔT% 이상
5. 내용제성 평가
상기 필름 터치 센서와는 별개로, 두께 700㎛의 소다 라임 글래스(Soda lime Glass)를 캐리어 기판 상에 실시예 및 비교예와 동일한 방법으로 절연층만을 형성하였다. 이후, 프로필렌글리콜모노메틸에테르아세테이트에 침지하고 100℃에서 30분간 가열후 막전후의 두께변화를 측정하였다.
○: 98% 초과
△: 95%~98%
X: 95% 미만
6. 내ITO성
상기 필름 터치 센서와는 별개로, 두께 700㎛의 소다 라임 글래스(Soda lime Glass)를 캐리어 기판 상에 실시예 및 비교예와 동일한 방법으로 절연층만을 형성하였다. 이후, 절연층 상에 ITO 스퍼터를 1,000Å 두께로 실시하여 막의 주름 상태 변화를 측정하였다.
○:막주름이 없는 상태
X: 막주름이 발생한 상태
7. 내에칭성
상기 필름 터치 센서와는 별개로, 두께 700㎛의 소다 라임 글래스(Soda lime Glass)를 캐리어 기판 상에 실시예 및 비교예와 동일한 방법으로 절연층만을 형성하였다. 이후, ITO 에칭액(MA-SO2, 동우화인켐)에 60℃에서 10분간 침지후, 침지전후의 막두께 변화를 측정하여 백분율로 표시하였다.
○:98% 초과
△: 95%~98%
X: 95% 미만
8. 감도 측정
0.7mm 두께의 유리 기판(코닝1737, 코닝社 제조) 위에, 스피너로 실시예 및 비교예의 감광성 수지 조성물을 각각 도포하고, 100℃의 핫플레이트 상에서 125초간 가열하여 용매를 휘발시켜, 두께 4.0㎛의 감광성 수지 조성물층을 형성하였다.
이후에 직경 10㎛의 콘택트홀 패턴을 얻기 위해, 노광부가 10㎛의 변을 갖는 사각 패턴 개구부를 갖는 마스크를 이용하여 i선 스텝퍼(NSR-205i11D, 니콘(주))로 노광을 실시하였다.
노광 후의 기판을 2.38% 테트라메틸암모늄히드록시드 수용액을 현상액으로 23℃에서 40초 동안 퍼들 현상을 행하고, 230℃의 오븐에서 30분간 가열하여 경화된 막을 얻었다.
이후에 기판을 수직으로 절삭하고 각 조성에서 10㎛ 콘택트홀이 되는 노광량을 감도로 선택하였다.

상기 표 2를 참조하면, 실시예의 필름 터치 센서는 크랙 방지 효과가 우수하고, 절연층의 투과율, 내열성 및 내용제성 등이 우수하였으나, 비교예의 필름 터치 센서는 1개 이상의 효과가 저하된 것을 확인할 수 있다.

  1. 분리층;
    상기 분리층 상에 배치된 보호층; 및
    상기 보호층 상에 배치되며, 하기 화학식 1 또는 2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체의 경화층인 절연층을 구비한 전극 패턴층;을 포함하는 필름 터치 센서:

    상기 분리층 상에 보호층을 형성하는 단계;
