Definitions
- the present invention relates to a perovskite solar cell, and more particularly, to a perovskite solar cell having excellent light irradiation resistance and high reliability.
- Solar cells that can efficiently convert sunlight into electricity and are currently in practical use include residential single crystal silicon, polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon, and inorganic solar cells such as cadmium telluride and indium copper selenide A battery is mentioned. Disadvantages of these inorganic solar cells include, for example, that silicon having a very high purity is required, the purification process is complicated, the number of processes is large, and the manufacturing cost is high.
- perovskite solar cells are attracting attention as a new type of solar cell.
- Perovskite solar cells are expected to be inexpensive and highly efficient solar cells because they can be manufactured by coating (Non-patent Document 1).
- a perovskite solar cell includes, for example, a blocking layer, a perovskite layer, a carrier transport layer, and a back electrode on the transparent electrode surface.
- the photoelectric conversion efficiency is about 15 to 20% in a cell having a very small area (Non-patent Documents 2 and 3).
- a large-area solar cell is required.
- the conventional perovskite solar cell has a problem of low reliability (light irradiation resistance) against light irradiation.
- Non-Patent Documents 2 and 3 there has been a report that the uniformity of the perovskite layer is improved by controlling the crystal and morphology of the perovskite layer.
- the electron blocking layer and the hole blocking layer are very thin (several nm)
- This pinhole causes recombination of electrons and holes formed by light, so that the photoelectric conversion efficiency remains at 10%.
- an organic material is often used for these layers, and there is a problem that reliability due to deterioration of the organic material due to light irradiation is low.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a perovskite solar cell having a large cell of about 1 cm square and high photoelectric conversion efficiency and high reliability (light irradiation resistance).
- the present inventors paid attention to the fact that the perovskite solar cell has a multilayer structure, and as a result of various studies on each layer, the above object is achieved by including both an electron blocking layer and a hole blocking layer together with an inorganic material. I found that I can do it.
- the configuration of the present invention is as follows [1] to [8]. [1] A perovskite solar cell including a transparent conductive support, an electron blocking layer, a perovskite layer, an electron transport layer, a hole blocking layer, and a back electrode, both of the electron blocking layer and the hole blocking layer being an inorganic material Including perovskite solar cells.
- the metal ion is at least one selected from Li + and Mg 2+ .
- the metal ion is at least one selected from Nb 5+ , W 6+ and Y 3+ .
- the electron transport layer is made of [6,6] -phenyl-C 61 -butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM).
- the solar cell of this invention can be made into the cell area of a magnitude
- FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing an example of the configuration of the perovskite solar cell of the present invention.
- FIG. 2 is a scanning electron microscope (SEM) photograph of a cross section of an example of the solar cell of the present invention.
- FIG. 3 is a graph showing light irradiation resistance comparison (reliability comparison) between the perovskite solar cell of the present invention and a conventional solar cell.
- the perovskite solar cell of the present invention includes at least a transparent conductive support, an electron blocking layer, a perovskite layer, an electron transport layer, a hole blocking layer, and a back electrode, and both the electron blocking layer and the hole blocking layer include an inorganic material. More preferably, the electron blocking layer and the hole blocking layer are both inorganic materials.
- FIG. 1 shows an example of the configuration of the perovskite solar cell of the present invention.
