Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sunscreen cosmetic. More specifically, the present invention relates to a sunscreen cosmetic that can suppress photodegradation of an ultraviolet absorber, stably exhibit high ultraviolet protection ability in a wide wavelength region from UVA to UVB, and has excellent usability.
- Sunscreen cosmetics a type of UV care cosmetics, absorb or scatter UVA and UVB on the skin by covering the skin with a coating film containing a UV absorber or UV scattering agent. It is a cosmetic intended to suppress the amount of ultraviolet rays to reach and protect the skin from the harm of ultraviolet rays (Non-patent Document 1).
- an ultraviolet absorber that chemically absorbs ultraviolet rays and an ultraviolet scattering agent that physically reflects / scatters ultraviolet rays are appropriately combined and formulated to exhibit a good ultraviolet protection effect.
- the An ultraviolet absorber is an organic compound having a structure that absorbs energy of ultraviolet rays. From an absorption wavelength region to a UVA absorber, a UVB absorber, and a broad-band absorber having an absorption band from the UVA to UVB wavelength region. Can be classified.
- Dibenzoylmethane derivatives such as 4-tert-butyl-4′-methoxydibenzoylmethane are widely used in cosmetics and the like as UVB absorbers having a maximum absorption wavelength at about 360 nm. It is known that the ultraviolet protection effect is reduced by irradiation (Patent Document 1).
- Patent Document 1 light stability is improved by blending an alkylaryl-1,3-propanedione silicone derivative with 4- (1,1-dimethylethyl) -4′-methoxydibenzoylmethane, which is a dibenzoylmethane derivative. It is described that it increases significantly. However, only the specific dibenzoylmethane derivative has been confirmed to have the light stabilizing effect.
- Patent Document 2 discloses that the photodegradation of 4-tert-butyl-4′-methoxydibenzoylmethane and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate was suppressed by adding tris (polypropylene glycol-3 benzyl ether) citric acid. Although disclosed, effects in sunscreen cosmetics containing both UV absorbers have not been confirmed.
