  • Embodiments of the present invention relate to a shackle device between two objects to be connected, such as a loop, an eyelet, a closed end of a rope, and / or a folded rope.
  • embodiments relate to a shackle device for releasably connecting and locking two objects.
  • Shackle devices are used in a variety of technical fields to connect two parts or objects together. Shackle devices offer an easy to close and detachable connection between two objects, such as loops, eyes, ropes, chains or other looped closed ends of objects. Above all, shackle devices serve to absorb tensile forces, for example, when moving ropes or chains to solid components. In particular, shackle devices have a closable strap, which can be closed by a rod, a screw or a socket pin. The bolts are often secured with nuts or split pins. For example, using a shackle may allow for easy replacement of a damaged wire rope or chain.
  • Shackle devices often have a bracket with a curved shape. Due to the curved shape of the bracket, the connection is more mobile, whereby a shackle device is a cost-effective fastening device, especially for not exactly positioned parts.
