Definitions
- the present invention relates to a connecting ring of the climbing and abseiling climbing technique according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such connecting rings serve, for example, the connection of a plurality of loops, loops or the like, for example in a climbing harness for connecting a leg loop with a lap belt.
- connecting rings Important in such connecting rings is a smooth surface of such a connecting ring, in order to avoid damage to connected via the connecting ring cable loops or the like or to prevent unwanted snagging with other equipment.
- Multi-part connecting rings are also known, in which a partial annular piece can be removed from the annular body, wherein the partial annular piece is designed as a hollow cylinder and can be fixed by means of a through-bolt into which receiving openings running obliquely to the outer lateral surface can be introduced into the annular body.
- Object of the present invention is to provide a connecting ring of the climbing and Abseilklettertechnik for connecting a plurality of loops, loops or the like, in which the multi-part annular body of the connecting ring in a simple manner can be dismantled and assembled.
- the connecting ring has a base body which is composed of two form-fitting interlocking partial shells releasably.
- Each of the partial shells has at least one support section and a closing section.
- the cross sections of the support sections perpendicular to the lateral surface of the connecting ring each form a partial cross section of the connecting ring, while the cross sections of the closing sections correspond to the cross section of the connecting ring perpendicular to the lateral surface of the connecting ring.
- Such a constructed connecting ring can be mounted in a simple manner by a plurality of loops, eyelets or the like in the disassembled state by threading the partial shells in the respective loops, loops or the like and then joining the two partial shells.
- each of the partial shells has two support sections and a closing section integrally formed between the support sections. This allows, for example, the formation of two identically designed partial shells.
- the arc length of the two support portions of each of the sub-shells is the same length according to another preferred embodiment. However, it is also conceivable to make the arc lengths of the support sections of the respective partial shells of different lengths.
- the arc length of the support sections between 90 ° and 1 60 °, whereby a sufficiently large overlap surface of the two partial shells is given.
- the minimum width b of the annular gaps in the circumferential direction of the connecting ring is preferably between 10 mm and 20 mm.
- inventive connecting ring are in contact with each other in the functional position contact surfaces of the contact surfaces of the support portion of the first part shell plug means, which are inserted into respective recesses in the contact surfaces of the second part shell.
- the plug-in means are preferably designed as pins, into which corresponding receptacles, in particular receiving bores in the second partial shell can be inserted.
- the plug-in means as in a groove formed as a recess insertable spring form.
- At least one tool holder in particular in the form of a receiving slot is formed on a peripheral side edge of the support sections.
- the contact surfaces of the support sections are just shaped according to a preferred embodiment. It is also conceivable that the contact surfaces of the support sections uneven, in particular undulating shape.
- the support section of the first subshell has at least one receiving bore for receiving a screw, wherein the screw can be screwed into a blind hole in the second subshell.
- FIG. 1 Show it: a perspective view of a first embodiment of a connecting ring according to the invention in the assembled state, a perspective view of the connecting ring of Figure 1 with a screwed into the partial shells of the connecting ring screws, a perspective view of the partial shells of the main body of the connecting ring in the disassembled state, a plan view of the connecting ring according to FIG. 1, a sectional view through a sectional plane designated by the letter V in FIG. 4, a sectional view through a sectional plane designated VI in FIG.
- FIG. 4 a plan view of an alternative embodiment of a connecting ring according to the invention, a sectional view through a designated VIII in FIG Sectional plane of the connecting ring, one of Figure 3 corresponding perspective view of the connec tion ring according to Figure 7 in the disassembled state,
- FIG. 10 shows a plan view of a further embodiment variant of a connecting ring according to the invention.
- FIG. 11 is a perspective view of the connecting ring shown in FIG. 10 with partial shells taken apart;
- FIG. 12 is a perspective view of yet another embodiment of a connecting ring according to the invention.
- FIG. 13 shows a perspective view of the connecting ring according to FIG. 12 with part shells taken apart
- FIG. 14 is a perspective view of yet another embodiment of a connecting ring according to the invention
- FIG. 1 is a sectional view through a section plane marked XV in FIG. 14,
- Figure 1 6 is a perspective view of the connecting ring according to Figure 14 with taken apart body.
- top, bottom, left, right, front, back, etc. refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the connecting ring, the base body, the partial shells, the support section, the closing section and the like, chosen in the respective figures. These terms are not meant to be limiting, that is to say, by different working positions or the mirror-symmetrical design or the like, these references may change.
- the reference numeral 1 denotes a first embodiment variant of a connecting ring according to the invention as a whole.
- the connecting ring 1 has a multi-part, annular base body 2.
- the main body 2 is here, as shown in Figures 1 to 3, composed of two form-fitting interlocking part shells 3, 4 detachably assembled.
- each of these partial shells 3, 4 has at least one support section 5, 8 and a closing section 6, 9.
- the support sections 5, 8 lie in the assembled state of the connecting ring 1, as shown in Figure 1, to each other.
- the closing sections 6, 9 are shaped such that they fill the gap 7, 10 of the respective other sub-shell 3, 4, so that in the assembled state a gap-free ring, for example in the form of a tome, is formed.
- a gap-free ring for example in the form of a tome.
- the base body 2 is not divided in the circumferential direction into two or more segments, but in the area of the support sections 5, 8 parallel to a surface enclosed by the base body 2.
- the cross sections of the support sections 5, 8 perpendicular to the lateral surface of the connecting ring 1 each form a partial cross section of the connecting ring 1, whereby the partial cross sections in the assembled state of the partial shells join together to form the cross section of the main body 2.
- the cross sections of the closing sections 6, 9 perpendicular to the lateral surface of the connecting ring 1 correspond to the cross section of the connecting ring 1.
- each of the partial shells 3, 4 has two support sections 5, 8 and a closing section 6, 9 integrally formed between the support sections 5, 8. It is also conceivable, the sub-shells 3, 4 form so that from one side of a closing portion 6, 9 a single support portion 5, 8 extends. In this case, the ring gap would be directly adjacent to one side of the closing portion.
- the arc length b of the two support sections 5, 8 of each of the partial shells 3, 4 is of equal length.
- the arc length I of the support sections 5, 8 is preferably between 90 ° and 1 60 °.
- the minimum width b of the annular gaps 7, 1 0 in the circumferential direction of the connecting ring 1 is preferably between 1 0 mm and 20 mm, so that the annular gaps 7,1 0 are sufficiently large to a rope, a loop, an eyelet or the like through this to lead through it.
