【발명의 배경이 되는 기술】
폴리머 비드는 에멀전 중합이나 현탁 중합 등에 의하여 제조된 입경 분포가 균일한 구형의 입자를 총칭한다. 폴리머 비드의 용도는 매우 다양하여 액정 모니터의 광확산 필름, 보호 필름용 및 건축용으로 사용되고 있을 뿐 아니라, 칼라 잉크용 투명 필름의 코팅시에도 널리 사용되고 있다. 이러한 용도로 사용되는 폴리머 비드는 일반적으로 현탁중합 '(Suspension Polymer i zat i on) , 분산중합 (Di spers ion
Polymer i zat ion) 및 유화중합 (Emul s ion Polymer i zat ion) 등의 방법들로 제조되고 있다.
종래의 현탁 중합에 있어서, 폴리머 비드는 기계적 힘에 의하여 수용액상에 존재하는 단량체를 분산시켜 제조한다. 이 방법에 의하여 제조된 폴리머 비드는 적어도 100 //m 이상의 비드 크기를 가지며, 기계적 힘에 의하여 비드들이 분산되어 있기 때문에 비드분포가 넓은 경향이 있다. 이같이 종래의 중합 공정을 통해 제조된 폴리머 비드는 기존 수지와 굴절율이 다르기 때문에 은폐력을 제공할 수 있으며, 이에 따라, 광확산판이나 조명용 등기구를 압출하여 제조할 때 많이 사용되고 있다. 이처럼 압출로 제품을 만들 시는 고온에서 제품을 흔련 (Mixing)하여
사용하기 때문에 우수한 열안정성이 요구된다.
그러나, 이러한 종래의 폴리머 비드는 고온에서 30분 이상 정체하였을 때, 중량 변화 감량폭이 커서 비드가 사용되는 환경에 물리, 화학적 변화를 초래할 수 있다. 즉, 상용성 저하, 흄 ( fume) 또는 부산물 생성으로 인한 최종 제품의 물성 변화 등이 일어날 수 있으며, SEM사진으로 판독하였을 때 비드의 모양이 심하게 변형되는 등 물성 뷘화가 크게 나타나는 문제점이 있다.
따라서, 광확산 필름 등 다양한 용도로 적용시 제조 공정에서 고온의 껼 처리 단계를 수행할 경우에도 흄 ( fume) 발생이 최소화되고 물성 변화가 없도록, 우수한 광학적 특정과 함께 고온에서의 향상된 열안정성이 부여된 폴리머 비드를 제조할 수 있는조성 및 공정 개발에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이와 동시에, 자외선 영역의 빛을 최대로 흡수하여 자외선에 대한 반웅성이 높은 특유의 광학 특성을 구현할 있는 폴리머 비드를 제조할 수 있는 조성 및 공정 개발에 대한 연구 또한 필요하다.

본 발명은 나노 사이즈의 다층 구조를 통해 우수한 내구성, 내열성 및 내광성을 가지며, 자외선 영역의 빛을 최대로 흡수하고, 변색성을 나타내는 광학적 특성을 갖는 폴리머 비드를 제공하기 위한 것이다.
또한, 본 발명은 상기 폴리머 비드의 제조방법을 제공하기 위한 것이다.
또한, 본 발명은 상기 폴리머 비드를 이용한 광학용 필름을 제공하기 위한 것이다.
【과제의 해결 수단]

이하 발명의 구체적인 구현예에 따른 폴리머 비드 및 그 제조방법에 대하여 보다 상세하게 설명하기로 한다. 본 명세서에서, (메트)아크릴산은 아크릴산 및 메타크릴산을 모두 포함하는 의미이다.
본 명세서에서 또한, (메트)아크릴레이트는 아크릴레이트 및 메타크릴레이트를 모두 포함하는 의미이다. 발명의 일 구현예에 따르면, 코어부; 상기 코어부 상에 형성된 쉘층; 및 상기 쉘층 상에 형성된 보호층;을 포함하고, 상기 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층은 각각 비닐계 반복 단위를 포함한 고분자 수지를 포함하며, 상기 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층 가운데 적어도 하나 이상은 400 nm 미만의 파장에서 최대 광흡수 이후, 380 nm 내지 750 nm 파장의 가시광선을 방출하는 발광체를 포함하고, 상기 발광체의 표면에는 아미드기, 아민기,
티올기, 에스테르기, 비닐기, 히드록시기, 페놀기, (메트)아크릴계 작용기 및 카복실기로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 반웅성 작용기가 치환된 폴리머 비드가 제공된다/
본 발명자들은 상술한 특정의 폴리머 비드를 이용하면, 열안정성이 향상되어 우수한 내열성을 가질 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 자외선에 의한 안정성도 확보하여 우수한 내광성을 가짐에 따라, 자외선을 흡수하여 가시광선의 형태로 방출하는 발광체 특유의 광학적 특성이 폴리머 비드 내에 함유되었을 때에도 동등 수준에서 구현될 수 있다는 점을 실험을 통하여 확인하고 발명을 완성하였다.
특히, 상기 폴리머 비드는 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층으로 이루어진
3중층 구조 내부에 발광체를 함유시켜, 발광체가 이행하는 현상을 방지하여 우수한 내후성 및 내구성을 확보할 수 있다. 또한, 고온 또는 고압에서의 흔련, 압출 공정에서 고분자 수지의 물성 변화를 방지하고, 발광체의 감도가 온도에 따라 변하거나 발광체 자체가 열에 의해 분해되는 것 또한 방지하여, 우수한 내열성을 확보할 수 있다. ᅳ
따라서, 상기 폴리머 비드는 보안용, 광차단용, 광센서용 등으로 인쇄 잉크, 화장품 첨가제, 플라스틱의 소재, 디스플레이 소재 등으로 사용될 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 폴리머 비드는 코어부; 상기 코어부 상에 형성된 쉘층; 및 상기 쉘층 상에 형성된 보호층;을 포함할 수 있다. 즉, 상기 폴리머 비드는 내부에서 외부표면에 이르기까지 코어부, 쉘층 보호층 순으로 적층된 3층 구조를 가질 수 있다. 일반적으로 널리 알려진 코어-쉘 구조에서 쉘층 상에 보호층이 또다시 적층된 3충 구조를 가질 수 있다. 상기 폴리머 비드에 포함되는 쉘층과 보호층 각각은 안정적이고 견고한 구조를 가질 뿐만 아니라, 이들이 순차적으로 적층된 상태에서 서로 결합 또는 가교됨으로서 보다 향상된 기계적 물성, 형태 안정성 및 내용제성을 갖는 외부막 또는 표면층을 형성할 수 있으며, 제조되는 폴리머 비드가 뭉침 없이 안정적으로 분산될 수 있다.
상기 폴리머 비드의 형태의 예가 크게 한정되는 것은 아니며, 예를 들어, 구형, 타구형, 다면체 등을 들 수 있고, 상기 폴리머 비드의 단면은
원형, 타원형, 3 내지 50의 다각형일 수 있다. 상기 폴리머 비드의 평균입경이 10 nm 내지 900 nm , 또는 30 nm 내지 700 ηπι , 또는 50 nm 내지 500 nm일 수 있다.
상기 코어부의 최대 직경은 10 nm 내지 200 ran이고, 상기 쉘충의 두께는 10 nm 내지 300 ran이며, 상기 보호층의 두께는 10 ran 내지 100 ran일 수 있다.
상기 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층 가운데 적어도 하나 이상은 400 nm 미만, 또는 200 nm 내지 390 nm , 또는 300 nm 내지 390 nm의 파장에서 최대 광흡수 .파장을 갖는 발광체를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 발광체란 빛을 방출하는 물질을 의미할 수 있다. 상기 발광체는 염료 (Dye) 또는 안료 (Pigment ) 등을 사용할 수 있고, 바람직하게는 염료를사용할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 폴리머 비드는 내부에 발광체가 함유되어 있어, 필름 등에 발광체를 적용하는 과정에서 , 발광체가 이행하는 현상을 방지하여 우수한 내후성 및 내구성을 확보할 수 있다. 또한, 고온 또는 고압에서의 흔련, 압출 공정에서 고분자 수지의 물성 변화를 방지하고, 발광체의 감도가 온도에 따라 변하거나 발광체 자체가 열에 의해 분해되는 것 또한 방지하여, 우수한 내열성을 확보할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 발광체를 포함한 폴리머 비드 -또한 400 nm 미만, 또는 200 nm 내지 390 nm , 또는 300 nm 내지 390 nm의 파장에 대하여 높은 흡광도를 가질 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 상기 발광체는 상기 폴리머 비드의 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층에 포함된 고분자 수지를 비롯한. 범용 수지와 효과적으로 결합하여, 고색채 구현력, 고대조비, 광 전환 효율을 구현할 수 있다.
상기 폴리머 비드는 400 nm 미만, 또는 200 nm 내지 390 nm , 또는 300 nm 내지 390 ran의 파장에서 최대 광흡수 파장을 가질 수 있다. 상기 최대 광흡수 파장이란, 파장에 따른 광흡수를 측정한 결과, 가장 높은 광흡수율을 나타낸 파장 값을 의미한다. 광흡수율이란, 측정 가능한 최대 흡광도에 대한 실제 측정된 흡광도의 퍼센트 비율을 의미하며, 하기 표 3 및 표 4에 기재한 바와 같이, 측정 가능한최대 흡광도는 2.0이다.
한편, 상기 폴리머 비드는 400 nm 내지 800 nm 파장에서 광흡수율이
0.02% 이하일 수 있다. 상술한 바와 같이, 광흡수율이란, 측정 가능한 최대 흡광도에 대한 실제 측정된 흡광도의 퍼센트 비율을 의미하며, 하기 표 3 및 표 4에 기재한 바와 같이, 측정 가능한 최대 흡광도는 2.0이다.
즉, 상기 폴리머 비드는 400 ran 내지 800 ran 파장에서 흡광도가 0.05미만으로, 거의 0에 가까운 매우 낮은 값을 나타내고 있으며, 이로부터 상기 폴리머 비드가 가시광선 영역에 빛을 거의 흡수하지 않는 것을 확인할 수 있다.
이로 인해, 상기 폴리머 비드는 자외선 영역의 빛에 대해 선택적인 흡수능을 가질 수 있고, 400 ran 내지 800 nm 파장의 가시광선을 거의 흡수하지 않아, 평상시에 우리 눈에는 흰색 내지 아이보리색으로 보이게 된다. 따라서, 상기 고분자 수지 및 발광체를 포함하는 폴리머 비드는, 자외선을 조사하기 전까지 발광체가 포함되지 않은 폴리머 비드 내지 고분자 수지와 흔합되었을 때, 육안상 쉽게 구별되지 않을수 있다.
또한, 상기 폴리머 비드는 400 nm 미만의 파장에서 최대 광흡수 이후, 380 nm 내지 750 nm 파장의 가시광선을 방출할 수 있다. 즉, 상기 폴리머 비드는 자외선을 조사하게 되면 이를 흡수한 다음 특정의 가시광선 형태로 방출하여, 색을 띨 수 있다. 따라서, 상기 폴리머 비드는 자외선을 조사한 이후 상기 발광체가 포함된 폴리머 비드가 방출하는 파장대의 색으로 변하면서 선명하게 구별될 수 있다.
이처럼 평소에는 육안상 색상의 차이를 나타내지 않다가, 특정 파장대의 자외선을 조사함에 따라 색상의 차이를 나타내는 폴리머 비드의 특성은, 보안 용품 등에서 활용이 가능하다.
상기 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층 가운데 적어도 하나 이상이라 함은 코어부, 쉘층, 보호층, 코어부 및 쉘층, 쉘층 및 보호층, 보호층 및 코어부, 또는 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층을 모두 포함할 수 있다.
보다 구체적으로, 상기 발광체의 표면에는 아미드기, 아민기, 티을기, 에스테르기, 비닐기, 히드록시기, 페놀기, (메트)아크릴계 작용기 및 카복실기로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 반웅성 작용기가 치환될 수 있다. 상기 발광체의 표면이란 발광체 화합물 분자구조의 말단을 의미하며, 상기 (메트)아크릴계는 아크릴계 또는 메타크릴계를 의미한다. 이에 따라,
상기 발광체는 폴리머 비드의 코어부, 쉘충 및 보호층에 포함된 고분자 수지를 비롯한 범용 수지와 효과적으로 결합하여, 고색채 구현력, 고대조비 광 전환 효율을 구현할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 발광체 표면에 치환된 반응성 작용기에 의해 상기 발광체는 상기 고분자 수지의 단량체 조성물 내에서 효과적으로 용해될 수 있다. 이에 따라, 상기 고분자 수지의 단량체의 중합 이후, .상기 폴리머 비드의 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층에 포함된 고분자 수지 내에서도 상기 발광체가 높은 함량으로 포함될 수 있어, 상기 폴리머 비드가 우수한 광학적 특성을 구현할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 폴리머 비드에 대한 발광체의 함량은 0.01 중량 ¾> 내지 20중량 %, 또는 0.1 중량 % 내지 10중량 %, 또는 1 중량 % 내지 8중량 %일 수 있다. 상기 폴리머 비드에 대한 발광체의 함량이 지나치게 감소하면, 자외선 영역의 빛을 최대로 흡수하는 광학적 특성이 충분히 구현되기 어렵다. 또한, 상기 폴리머 비드에 대한 발광체의 함량이 지나치게 증가하면, 발광체의 용해도가 감소하여, 일부 발황체의 이행 (migrat ion)현상이 발생할 수 있으며, 후술하는 고분자 수지의 중합도가 감소하여 폴리머 비드의 내열도가 감소할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 폴리머 비드는 상기 고분자 수지 100 중량부에 대하여 상기 발광체를 0.1 증량부 내지 20 중량부, 또는 1 중량부 내지 10 중량부, 또는 3 중량부 내지 8 중량부로 포함할 수 있다. 상기 고분자 수지의 함량은 폴리머 비드내에 함유된 모든 비닐계 반복 단위 포함 고분자의 함량을 의미하며, 구체적으로, 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층에 포함된 모든 고분자 수지 함량의 합을 의미한다.
상기 고분자 수지에 대한 발광체의 함량이 지나치게 감소하면, 자외선 영역의 빛을 최대로 흡수하는 광학적 특성이 층분히 구현되기 어렵다. 또한, 상기 고분자 수지에 대한 발광체의 함량이 지나치게 증가하면, 발광체의 용해도가 감소하여, 일부 발광체의 이행 (migrat ion)현상이 발생할 수 있으며, 고분자 수지의 중합도가 감소하여 고분자 수지의 내열도가 감소할수 있다.
상기 발광체는 비닐계 단량체에 대한 용해도가 60% 이상, 또는 60%
내지 100%일 수 있다. 이처럼, 상기 발광체는 비닐계 단량체에 대하여 높은 용해도를 가질 수 있으므로, 상기 반웅액 내에서 비닐계 단량체에 용해되어 우수한 광학 특성 및 내구성을 구현할 수 있다.
상기 발광체의 비닐계 단량체에 대한 용해도가 60% 미만이면, 상기 발광체가 반응액 내에서 안정적으로 고르게 분산되기 어렵고, 최종 제조되는 비드 표면으로 이행하는 현상이 발생할 수 있다.
상기 발광체는 페릴렌계 화합물, 이소퀴놀린계 화합물, 유로피움계 착화합물, 시아졸계 화합물 , 스쿠라렌계 화합물, 프탈로시아닌계 화합물, 안트라퀴논계 화합물 , 아크리돈계 화합물, 시아닌계 화합물, 아조계 화합물 ' 포마즌계 화합물 또는 이들의 2 종 이상의 흔합물을 포함할 수 있으며, 바람직하게는 상기 발광체로 이소퀴놀린계 화합물, 유로피움계 착화합물, 시아졸계 화합물 또는 이들의 2 종 이상의 흔합물을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 이소퀴놀린계 화합물은 이소퀴놀린 화합물 또는 상기 이소쥐놀린 화합물에 다양한 치환기가 도입된 화합물을 포함한다. 상기 "치환''이라는 용어는 화합물 내의 수소 원자 대신 다른 작용기가 결합하는 것을 의미하며, 치환되는 위치는 수소 원자가 치환되는 위치 즉, 치환기가 치환 가능한 위치라면 한정되지 않으며, 2 이상 치환되는 경우, 2 이상의 치환기는 서로 동일하거나 상이할 수 있다.
상기 치환기의 예로는 탄소수 1 내지 20의 알킬기, 탄소수 2 내지 20의 알케닐기, 탄소수 2 내지 20의 알키닐기 , 탄소수 6 내지 20의 아릴기, 탄소수 2 내지 20의 헤테로아릴기, 탄소수 6 내지 20의 아릴알킬기, 할로겐 원자, 시아노기, 아미노기 , 아미디노기, 니트로기, 아마이드기, 카보닐기, 히드록시기, 술포닐기, 카바메이트기, 탄소수 1 내지 20의 알콕시기 등을 들 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 이소퀴놀린계 확합물은 벤조이소퀴놀린의 유도체 화합물을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 유도체란 어떤 화합물의 일부를 화학적으로 변화시켜서 얻어지는 유사한 화합물을 의미하며, 대개 화합물 중의 수소원자 또는 특정 원자단이 다른 원자 또는 원자단에 의하여 치환된 화합물을 말한다. 즉, 상기 벤조이소퀴놀린의 유도체 화합물은
벤조이소퀴놀린 화합물로부터 화학적 반웅을 통해 얻어지는 화합물로서, 본 발명의 일실시예쎄 따르면 예를 들어, 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬기, 히드록시기 또는 알콕시기로 치환된 벤조 [de]이소퀴놀린 -1 , 3-다이온이 사용될 수 있다. 상기 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬기, 히드록시기 또는 알콕시기로 치환된 벤조 [de]이소퀴놀린 -1, 3-다이온에서, 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬기는 알케인 (alkane)으로부터 유래한 1가의 작용기로, 예를 들어, 직쇄형, 분지형 또는 고리형으로서, 바람직하게는 분지형의 탄소수 5 내지 10의 알킬기를 사용할 수 있다. 상기 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬기는 상기 벤조 [de]이소퀴놀린 -1 , 3-다이온에 포함된 질소 원자에 결합할 수 있다.

상기 화학식 2로 표시되는 BL Green-OH 염료 [2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2- yl)phenol]는 400 nm 미만의 파장, 구체적으로 320 nm 내지 330 nm 에서 최대 광흡수 이후, 520 nm 내지 570 nm 파장의 가시광선을 방출하여 녹색을 띨 수 있다. 또한, 상기 유로피움계 착화합물은 유로피움 금속 또는 이온을 중심금속으로 하며, 다양한 리간드가 중심금속에 결합한 화합물을 의미한다. 구체적으로, 상기 유로피움계 착화합물은 헤테로 방향족 다중고리 화합물 또는 1,3-다이케톤으로부터 유래한 에놀레이트 이온을 포함한 리간드; 및 유로피움을 포함한 중심 금속을 포함을 포함할 수 있다.

상기 폴리머 비드가 상기 고분자 수지 및 이에 결합한 발광체를 함께 포함하여 보다 높은 내열성을 가질 수 있으며, 예를 들어 소정의 용매와 흔합한 이후 고온에서 가열하여 흡광도를 측정하였을 때 열처리 전후에 변화가 그리 크지 않다는 점을 확인할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 발광체의 표면에는 아미드기, 아민기, 티올기, 에스테르기, 비닐기, 히드록시기,
페놀기, (메트)아크릴계 작용기 및 카복실기 (예를 들어, (메트)아크릴산이 도입되어 폴리머 비드 상에 결합 및 형성된 (메트)아크릴계 작용기)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 반웅성 작용기가 치환되는 경우, 보다 높은 내열성을 확보할 수 있으며 열처리에 따른 염료의 물성 변화를 보다 효과적으로 방지할 수 있다.
한편, 상기 발광체의 광학 특성을 향상시키기 위해, 추가적으로 산화철, CrCu 또는 Carbon Bal ck 의 금속 화합물이나, 프탈로시아닌 (phthal ocyanine) 블루, 프탈로시아닌 그린, 디아릴리드 (di aryl i de) 엘로우, 디아릴리드 MOT 옐로우, 및 퀸아크리돈 (quinacr i done) , 아조 (azo) , 로다민 (rhodamine) , 페릴렌 (peryl ene) 안료 시리즈 또는 Hansa ye l low G 입자의 유색 안료 화합물을 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층은 각각 비닐계 반복 단위를 포함한 고분자 수자를 포함할 수 있다. ' 상기 코어부, 쉘층, 그리고 보호층 모두에는 비닐계 받복 단위를 포함한 고분자 수지가 포함될 수 있으며, 코어부, 쉘층, 그리고 보호층 각각에 포함된 고분자 수지는 동일할 수도 있고, 상이할 수도 있다.

상기 탄소수 1 내지 20의 (메트)아크릴산 에스테르 화합물의 예 또한 크게 한정되는 것은 아니며, 예를 들어, 메틸 (메트)아크릴레이트, 에틸 (메트)아크릴레이트, 부틸 (메트)아크릴레이트, 트리메틸올메탄 테트라아크릴레이트, 트리메틸올메탄 트리아크릴레이트, 트리메틸을부탄
트리아크릴레이트, 에틸렌글리콜디메타크릴레이트로 또는 이들의 2종 이상의 흔합물을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 탄소수 1 내지 20의 아크릴산 또는 메타크릴산 플루오로알킬에스테르 화합물의 예를 들면, 플루오로메틸 (메트)아크릴레이트, 플루오로에틸 (메트)아크릴레이트, 플루오로부틸 (메트)아크릴레이트 또는 이들의 2종 이상의 흔합물을 들 수 있다.
상기 코어부, 쉘층 및 보호층은 각각 유화제, 가교제, 사슬이동제, 개시제, 및 경화제를 포함한 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 첨가제를 더 포함할 수 있다.

상기 사슬 이동제는 250°C전후에서의 열분해를 억제시키기 역할을 할 수 있으며, 고분자 사슬의 종결반응에 있어서 성장 중인 사슬의 말단의 라디칼을 다른 단량체로 전달해줌으로써, 종결반웅시의 사슬 성장 중의 불균등 반웅을 감소시켜 주는 역할을 할 수 있다. 상기 사슬 이동제의 예로는 1-도데칸티올, t-도데실머캡탄, t-핵사데실머캡탄 또는 이들의 2종 이상의 흔합물을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 개시제는 수용성 개시제 또는 지용성 개시제를 포함할 수 있고, 상기 수용성 개시제의 예로는 칼륨퍼설페이트, 나트륨퍼설페이트, 아모늄퍼설페이트, 아조계' 수용성 개시제 또는 이들의 2 종 이상의 흔합물을, 상기 지용성 개시제의 예로는 벤조일퍼옥사이드, 아조비스이소부티로니트릴, 아조비스페닐부티로니트릴 및 아조비스시클로핵산카르보니트릴 또는 이들의 2종 이상의 흔합물을 사용할 수 있다.

이와 같이, 상기 폴리머 비드가 상기 수학식 1로 표시되는 200°C 내지
300 °C 온도로 열처리 전후의 최대 흡광도 감소율이 1% 내지 9%의 낮은 값을 가짐에 따라, 상기 폴리머 비드는 코어부, 쉘층, 보호충을 포함한 다층 구조내에 염료를 포함시켜, 고온의 가열처리 조건에 염료를 안정적으로 유지시킬 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 폴리머 비드는 하기 수학식 2로 표시되는 40 내지 60시간 동안 자외선 조사 전후의 최대 흡광도 감소율이 1% 내지 10%일 수 있다.

구체적으로, 상기 수학식 2에서 자외선 조사 전후의 최대 흡광도는, 상기 폴리머 비드를 1.0T(1瞧)의 아크릴 판으로 사출한 시편을 형광 램프가 구비된 Q-UV 실험기를 사용하여 50시간 동안 자외선 조사하고, 자외선 조사 전후의 흡광도를 흡광도 측정 기기 (UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Thermo Fisher Scient i f ic사 EVOLUTION 600)를 통해 측정하는 방법으로 구하였다.
이와 같이, 상기 폴리머 비드가 상기 수학식 2로 표시되는 40 내지 60시간 동안 자외선 조사 전후의 최대 흡광도 감소을이 1% 내지 10%의 낮은 값을 가짐에 따라, 상기 폴리머 비드는 코어부, 쉘층, 보호층을 포함한 다층 구조내에 염료를 포함시켜, 고에너지의 자외선 처리 조건에서 염료를 안정적으로 유지시킬 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다.
상기 폴리머 비드는 액정 모니터의 광확산 필름, 광확산 판, 보호 필름용 및 건축용으로 사용되고 있을 뿐 아니라, 칼라 잉크용 필름, LCD 및 0LED 소자를 포함하는 디스플레이용 염료 또는 칼라 플라스틱의 소재, 3D 프린팅 소재 등에 널리 사용될 수 있다. 한편, 발명의 다른 구현.예에 따르면, 비닐계 단량체를 함유한 제 1 단량체 조성물을 중합하여 코어부를 형성하는 단계; 상기 코어부에 비닐계 단량체를 함유한 제 2 단량체 조성불을 첨가하고 중합하여 쉘층을 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 쉘층에 비닐계 단량체를 함유한 제 3 단량체 조성물을 첨가하고 중합하여 보호층을 형성하는 단계 ;를 포함하며, 상기 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 및 제 3 단량체 조성물 가운데 적어도 하나 이상은 400 nm 미만의 파장에서 최대 광흡수 이후, 380 nm 내지 750 nm 파장의 가시광선을 방출하는 발광체를 포함하고, 상기 발광체의 표면에는 아미드기, 아민기, 티을기, 에스테르기, 비닐기, 히드록시기, 페놀기, (메트)아크릴계 작용기 및 카복실기로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 반응성 작용가가 치환된, 폴리머 비드의 제조 방법이 제공될 수 있다.

상기 폴리머 비드의 제조 방법은 상기 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 및 제 3 단량체 조성물 가운데 적어도 하나 이상이 400 nm 미만, 또는 200 nm 내지 390 nm , 또는 300 nm 내지 390 nm의 파장에서 최대 광흡수 이후, 380 nm 내지 750 nm 파장의 가시광선을 방출하는 발광체를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 발광체는 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 및 ^ 3 단량체 조성물 가운데 적어도 하나 이상에 포함될 수 있으며, 구체적으로, 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물, 제 3 단량체 조성물, 제 1 단량체 조성물 및 제 2 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 및 제 3 단량체 조성물, 제 1 단량체 조성물 및 제 3 단량체 조성물, 또는 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 및 제 3 단량체 조성물에 포함될 수 있다.
상기 발광체에 대한 구체적인 내용은 상기 일 구현예에서 상술한

상기 단량체 조성물 내에서, 상기 비닐계 단량체 100 중량부에 대하여 상기 발광체를 0.1 중량부 내지 20 중량부, 또는 1 중량부 내지 15 중량부, 또는 5 중량부 내지 15 중량부로 포함할 수 있다. 상기 비닐계 단량체의 함량은 폴리머 비드 제조시 발광체가 포함된 단량체 조성물 내에 함유된 모든 비닐계 단량체의 함량을 의미한다.
상기 비닐계 단량체에 대한 발광체의 함량이 지나치게 감소하면, 자외선 영역의 빛을 최대로 흡수하는 광학적 특성이 충분히 구현되기 어렵다. 또한, 상기 비닐계 단량체에 대한 발광체의 함량이 지나치게 증가하면, 발광체의 용해도가 감소하여, 일부 발광체의 이행 (migrat ion)현상이 발생할 수 있으며, 비닐계 단량체의 중합도가 감소하여 폴리머 비드의 내열도가 감소할 수 있다.
구체적으로 상기 폴리머 비드의 제조 방법은 비닐계 단량체를 함유한 제 1 단량체 조성물을 중합하여 코어부를 형성하는 단계; 상기 코어부에 비닐계 단량체를 함유한 제 2 단량체 조성물을 첨가하고 중합하여 쉘층을 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 쉘춤에 비닐계 단량체를 함유한 제 3 단량체 조성물을 첨가하고 중합하여 보호층을 형성하는 단계 ;를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 및 제 3 단량체 조성물에 포함된 비닐계 단량체는 방향족 비닐계 화합물, 탄소수 1 내지 20의 (메트)아크릴산. 화합물, 탄소수 1 내지 20의 (메트)아크릴산 알킬에스테르 화합물 및 탄소수 1 내지 20의 (메트)아크릴산 플루오로알킬에스테르 화합물로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 화합물을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 방향족 비닐계 화합물의 예가 크게 한정되는 것은 아니나, 예를 들어, 스티렌 또는 디비닐 벤젠을 사용할 수 있다.

상기 탄소수 1 내지 20의 아크릴산 또는 메타크릴산 플루오로알킬에스테르 화합물의 예를 들면, 플루오로메틸 (메트)아크릴레이트 , 플루오로에틸 (메트)아크릴레이트 , 플루오로부틸 (메트)아크릴레이트 또는 이들의 2종 이상의 흔합물을 들 수 있다.
상기 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 또는 제 3 단량체 조성물은 수계 용매를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 수계 용매는 물 또는 친수성 용매를 포함할 수 있고, 바람직하게는 이온교환수 ( ion exchanged water )를 사용할 수 있다. 상기 이온교환수는 주로 이온교환법으로 정제한 순수 (water )를 의미하며, 바람직하게는 양이온 함량이 적고, 이온 교환기를 거쳐 생성된 질소기류 하에서 저항치가 5ΜΩ이상의 초순수를 사용할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 또는 제 3 단량체 조성물은 유화제, 가교제, 사슬이동제, 개시제, 경화제 또는 이들의 2종이상의 흔합물을 포함한 첨가제를 더 포함할 수 있다. 다만, 바람직하게는 상기 게 3단량체 조성물의 경우, 유화제 및 가교제의 함량이 0.01중량 % 미만일 수 있다. 상기 0.이중량% 미만이라 함은 상기 제 3단량체 조성물 내에 유화제 및 가교제 함량이 매우 미세하거나 전혀 포함되지 않은 경우를 의미한다. 상기 유화제, 가교제, 사슬이동제, 개시제, 경화제에 대한 내용은 상기 일 구현예에서 상술한 내용을 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 제 1 단량체 조성물, 게 2 단량체 조성물 또는 제 3 단량체 조성물 내에서 비닐계 단량체 및 가교제로 사용된 다관능 (메트)아크릴레이트계 화합물의 중량비는 10 : 1 내지 100 : 1, 또는 20 : 1 내지 80 : 1, 또는 40 : 1 내지 60 : 1일 수 있다. 상기 다관능 (메트)아크릴레이트계 화합물의 함량이 지나치게 증가할 경우, 상기 비닐계 단량체의 중합으로 얻어지는 고분자 수지의 물성에 영향을 미칠 우려가 있고, 최종 생성되는 폴리머 비드간의 웅집현상이 발생할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 코어부를 형성하는 단계에서 제 1단량체 조성물의 중합은, 예를 들어, 50 내지 200°C의 온도에서 10분 내지 200분, 또는 10분 내지 80분 동안 진행될 수 있다. 상기 코어부를 형성하는 단계에서 비닐계 단량체가 중합체로 전환되는 비율 (전환율)이 90% 이상, 또는 90% 내지 95%일 수 있다. 상기 전환율이 90% 미만이 될 경우에는 중합체의 열안정도가 낮아져 가공시 열분해가 발생할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 쉘충을 형성하는 단계에서 제 2단량체 조성물의 중합은, 예를 들어, 50 내지 20CTC의 온도에서 10분 내지 300분, 또는 100분 내지 300분 동안 진행될 수 있다. 상기 쉘층을 형성하는 단계에서 비닐계 단량체가 중합체로 전환되는 비율 (전환율)이 90% 이상, 또는 91% 내지 95%일 수 있다. 상기 전환율이 90% 미만이 될 경우에는 중합체의 열안정도가 낮아져 가공시 열분해가 발생할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 보호층을 형성하는 단계에서 게 3단량체 조성물의 중합은, 예를 들어, 50 내지 20CTC의 온도에서 10분 내지 600분, 또는 100분 내지 300분 동안 진행될 수 있다. 상기 보호층을 형성하는 단계에서 비닐계 단량체가 중합체로 전환되는 비율 (전환율)이 90% 이상, 또는 92% 내지 95%일 수 있다. 상기 전환율이 90% 미만이 될 경우에는 중합체의 열안정도가 낮아져 가공시 열분해가 발생할 수 있다.
상기 폴리머 비드의 제조방법에서 사용되는 구체적인 중합방법의 예가 크게 한정되는 것은 아니며, 예를 들어 유화 중합, 분산 중합, 또는 현탁 중합방법 등을 사용할 수 있으며, 바람직하게는 유화 중합방법을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 유화 중합방법을 통한 폴리머 비드 제조의 구체적인 예를 들면, 코어부를 형성하는 게 1단계에서는 가교된 글래스상을 만드는 단계를 포함할 수 있고, 구체적으로, 글래스상 에멀젼의 크기를 조절하기 위하여 고형분의 함량을 낮게 하고 유화제의 양을 조절하면서 가교제와 개시제를 가하여 가교된 글래스상을 얻는다.
쉘층을 형성하는 제 2단계에서는 상기 제 1단계에서 중합된 글래스상에 비닐계 단량체를 그라프트시키는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 비닐계 단량체를 소량 사용하면서, 가교제, 유화제를 가하고 개시제를
첨가함으로써 가교된 고분자 수지상을 제조한다 . 수지상끼리의 뭉침현상을 피하기 위하여 비닐계 단량체를 서서히 적가하였고, 반웅시간도 길게 한다. 보호층을 형성하는 게 3단계에서는 상기 제 2단계에서 중합된 상에 비닐계 단량체를 그라프트시키는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 제 1단계의 매트릭스 수지와 동일한 단량체를 사용하고 유화제와 가교제는 사용하지 않아 가교되지 않은 중합체를 얻음으로써, 그 자체로 매트릭스 역할을 하거나 가공 필요시 매트릭스 수지와의 섞임성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 거 13단계에서는 분자량의 조절을 위하여 사슬이동제를 사용할 수 있다.
보다 구체적으로 상기 폴리머 비드를 제조하는 방법을 설명하면 다음과 같다. 질소기류 하에서 저항치가 1ΜΩ이상인 이온교환수, 유화제, 가교제 및 일부 단량체를 투입하여 내부온도가 50~90°C에 도달하였을 때 개시제를 가하여 중합을 행한다. 중합이 진행되어 에멀견이 형성될 때 잔량의 1단계 단량체를 서서히 적가한 후 중합한다. 중합의 마지막 단계에서 개시제를 더 가하여 1단계 중합을 완료한다/
여기서 생성된 가교된 글래스상 중합체의 평균 입자직경은 10 내지 lOOnm이며, 유화제의 양, 종류 및 교반속도 등을 조절함으로써 입자의 크기를 조절할 수 있으며, 얻어진 입자의 크기는 매우균일하다.
구체적인 예를 들면, 상기 제 1 단량체 조성물의 교반은 50rpm 내지 200rpm의 속도로 10분 내지 60분간 진행할 수 있고, 구체적인 교반방법의 예가 크게 한정되는 것은 아니나, 예를 들어, 상기 조성물을 반웅기에 넣고, 미케니컬 스터러를 이용하여 교반하는 방법을 사용할 수 있다.
그 다음, 동일한 온도를 유지하면서 게 2단계의 단량체와 가교제, 유화제, 등을 흔합한 후 용액에 서서히 적가하여 중합을 행하고, 상기 제 1단계와 동일하게 중합 마지막 단계에서 개시제를 더 첨가하여 중합을 완료시킨다. 가교돤 수지상 중합체의 평균 두께는 30 내지 300nm 정도이며, 입자의 크기는 매우 균일하다. 상기 제 2 단량체 조성물의 교반 또한 50rpm 내지 200rpm의 속도로 10분 내지 60분간 진행할 수 있다.
거 13단계에서는 유화제 첨가없이 단량체와 개시제를 사용하여 중합을 행하는데, 개시제는 상기 게 2단계의 마지막에 첨가하고, 단량체를 서서히 용액에 적가한 후 중합을 행한다. 중합이 거의 진행되었을 때 최종적으로
개시제를 가하여 중합을 완료한다. 최종 글래스상 중합체의 평균 두께는 10 내지 lOOOnm , 또는 30 ran 내지 700 nm , 또는 50 nm 내지 500 nm .정도이며, 입자의 크기는 매우 균일하다.
한편, 최내각의 코어부와 중간층인 쉘층은 경화된 상태로서 경화제를 단량체 대비 0.5 내지 2.5중량부로 사용하고, 최외각층인 보호층은 중간층인 쉘층에 단순히 그라프트되거나 경화된 상태로서 경화제를 단량체 대비 1.0중량부 이내로 사용하여 제조된다.
또한, 상기 제 1 단량체 조성물, 제 2 단량체 조성물 및 제 3 단량체 조성물을 중합반웅시키는 단계 이후, 여과, 세척 및 건조 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 여과, 세척 및 건조의 방법은 통상적으로 사용되는 다양한 방법을 제한없이 사용할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 건조 단계 이후, 필요에 따라서는 분쇄 단계를 더 포함할 수도 있으며, 상기 분쇄방법의 예로는 제트밀, 볼밀 아토마이저 또는 해머밀 등과 같은 분쇄기를 이용할 수 있다. 한편, 발명의 또 다른 구현예에 따르면, 상기 일구현예의 폴리머 비드; 및 바인더 수지;를 포함하는 광학용 필름이 제공될 수 있다.
상기 광학용 필름에서, 상기 폴리머 비드는 상기 바인더 수지 내에서 고분자 비드성을 유지할 수도 있고, 비드의 형태가 깨질 수도 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 폴리머 비드는 압출, 가압, 가온 등의 성형 과정을 통해서 상기 바인더 수지에 분산된 분리상 (separated phase)으로 존재할 수 있으며, 또는 상기 바인더 수지와 결합한 연속상 (cont inuous phase)으로 존재할 수 있다.
상기 분리상 (separated phase)에서 상기 폴리머 비드는 하기 도 5에 나타난 바와 같이, 구형, 타구형, 다면체의 비드 형태를 유지하면서 바인더 수지내에 분산될 수 있다. 이와 같이, 상기 폴리머 비드가 광학용 필름 내에서 분리상으로 존재함에 따라, 비드 내에 포함된 발광체가 광학용 필름 내에서도 높은 내열성 및 내구성을 구현할 수 있다.
한편, 상기 연속상 (cont inuous phase)에서. 상기 폴리머 비드는 구형, 타구형, 다면체 등의 비드 형태가 사라지고, 바인더 수지와 함께 연속된
하나의 상태로서 존재할 수 있다.
상기 폴리머 비드에 관한 내용은 상기 일 구현예에서 상술한 내용을 포함한다.
상기 바인더 수지의 예가 크게 한정되는 것은 아니며, 예를 들어, ᅳ폴리 (메트)아크릴레이트, 폴리스티렌, 폴리카보네이트ᅳ 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리염화비닐 등을 들 수 있지만, 폴리머 비드와의 상용성과 단량체에 대한 용해도를 고려할 때, 폴리 (메트)아크릴레이트를 사용하는 것이 바람직하다 .
상기 폴리머 비드 및 바인더 수지의 중량비는 크게 한정되는 것은 아니나, 예를 들어, 1:0.5 내지 1:10, 또는 1:1.2 내지 1:5, 또는 1:1.5 내지 1:4일 수 있다.
상기 광학용 필름을 제조하는 구체적인 방법의 예가 크게 한정되는 것은 아니나, 예를 들어, 상기 폴리머 비드 및 바인더 수지를 흔합하고, 필름 형상으로 성형하는 방법을 사용할 수 있다. 상기 성형방법의 예로는, 코팅, 압출, 사출, 캐스팅 성형 등을 들 수 있으며, 바람직하게는 코팅 방법을 사용할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 코팅방법의 예로는 기재필름 상에 메이어 바를 이용하여 코팅하는 방법을 들 수 있고 , 상기 기재필름으로는 다양한 고분자 필름이 제한없이 적용될 수 있다.
상기 폴리머 비드 및 바인더 수지의 흔합물은 경화제 또는 유기 용매를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 경화제의 예는 크게 한정되지 않으며, 예를 들어, (2,2'-아조- 비스 (이소부틸로나이트릴)) (AIBN, 2,2'-azo-bis(isobutyronitrile)) 또는 (2, 21ᅳ아조 -비스 (2-메틸부틸로나이트뮐)) (ABN, 2,2' -azo-bis(2- methylbutyronitrile)) 등을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 유기 용매로는 광학용 필름 제조에 사용될 수 있는 것으로 알려진 것이면 별다른 제한 없이 사용할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 메틸에틸케톤 시클로핵사논 등의 케톤류; 를루엔, 크실렌, 테트라메틸벤젠 등의 방향족 탄화수소류; 에틸렌글리콜모노에틸에테르, 에틸렌글리콜모노메틸에테르, 에틸렌글리콜모노부틸에테르, 디에틸렌글리콜모노에틸에테르,
디에틸렌글리콜모노메틸에테르, 디에틸렌글리콜모노부틸에테르, 프로필렌글라콜모노메틸에테르, 프로필렌글리콜모노에틸에테르 , 디프로필렌글리콜디에틸에테르, 트리에틸렌글리콜모노에틸에테르 등의 글리콜에테르류 (셀로솔브); 아세트산에틸, 아세트산부틸 , 에틸렌글리콜모노에틸에테르아세테이트,
에틸렌글리콜모노부틸에테르아세테이트,
디에틸렌글리콜모노에틸에테르아세테이트,
디프로필렌글리콜모노메틸에테르아세테이트 등의 아세트산에스테르류; 에탄올, 프로판올, 에틸렌글리콜, 프로필렌글리콜, 카르비를 등의 알코올류 ; 옥탄, 테칸 등의 지방족 탄화수소; 석유에테르, 석유나프타, 수소 첨가 석유나프타, 용매나프타 등의 석유계 용제; 디메틸아세트아미드 (DMAc) , 디메틸포름아미드 (DMF) 등의 아미드류 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 용매는 단독으로 또는 2종 이상의 흔합물로서 사용할 수 있다.
【발명의 효과】
본 발명에 따르면, 나노 사이즈의 다층 구조를 통해 우수한 내구성, 내열성 및 내광성을 가지며, 자외선 영역의 빛을 조사함에 따라 변색성을 갖는 광학적 특성을 갖는 폴리머 비드 및 그 제조방법이.제공될 수 있다. 【도면의 간단한 설명】
도 1은 실시예 1에서 제조된 폴리머 비드를 주사전자현미경 (SEM)으로 측정한사진을 나타낸 것이다.
【발명을 실시하기 위한 구체적인 내용】
발명을 하기의 실시예에서 보다 상세하게 설명한다. 단, 하기의 실시예는 본 발명을 예시하는 것일 뿐, 본 발명의 내용이 하기의 실시예에 의하여 한정되는 것은 아니다.
<실시예 1 내지 5: 폴리머 비드의 제조 >
실시예 1
( 1) 코어 (core)부 제조 ( 1단계 )
2차 증류수 54. 1 kg을 100L 반웅기에 투입하여 질소기류 하에서 내부온도가 8(rC가 되도록 가열한 후, 메틸메타크릴레이트 13.77 kg ,
에틸아크릴레이트 0.80 kg, 알릴메타아크릴레이트 5.58 kg, 21.8% 나트륨 디옥틸설포석시네이트 0.68 kg의 흔합용액을 반웅기에 가한 후 15분간 lOOrpm으로 교반하였다. 그 후 2.56% 칼륨퍼설페이트용액 0.13 kg을 반응기에 투입한 후 60분간 유화중합하여 코어부를 제조하였다.
(2) 쉘 (shell)층 제조 (2단계)
상기 코어부를 포함한 글래스상 중합체 에멀견에 2.25% 칼륨퍼설페이트용액 0.18 kg을 가한 후 15분간 150rpm으로 교반한 다음 메틸메타크릴레이트 9.12 kg, 메타크릴산 5.00 kg, BL Blue 0H(ICB사, 말단기 히드록시기, 이소퀴놀린계; 6-hydroxy-그 methoxy-2-(octan—3-yl)- IH-benzo [ de ] i soqu i no 1 i ne- 1 , 3 ( 2H ) -d i one ) 1.52 kg, 에틸아크릴레이트 0.30 kg, 알릴메타아크릴레이트 0.20 kg, 및 21.8% 나트륨디옥틸설포석시네이트 0.57 kg의 흔합용액을 분당 0.1 kg의 속도로 반응기에 적가하였다. 적가완료 후 2.25% 칼륨퍼설페이트용액 0.18 kg을 투입한 후 120분간 유화중합하여 상기 코어 (Core)부 상에 쉘 (shell)층이 형성된 코어-쉘 (core- shell) 형태의 에멀젼을 제조하였다.
(3) 보호층 제조 (3단계)
상기 코어-쉘 형태의 에멀견을 포함한 반응기에, 50°C의 온도에서 메틸메타크릴레이트 10.92 kg, 에틸아크릴레이트 0.57 kg, 도데실머캅탄 0.02 kg 및 아조비스이소부티로니트릴 0.01 kg의 흔합용액을 가하였다. 온도를 서서히 80°C로 상승시킨 후 120분간 중합을 진행시켜 상기 쉘층 상에 보호층을 형성한 다음, 분무건조기를 이용하여 분말 형태의 최종 생성물인 폴리머 비드를 제조하였다. 실시예 2
상기 코어부를 제조하는 1단계에서, 메틸메타크릴레이트 9.12 kg, 메타크릴산 5.00 kg, BL Blue 0H ICB사, 말단기 히드록시기, 이소퀴놀린계) 1.52 kg, 에틸아크릴레이트 0.30 kg, 알릴메타아크릴레이트 0.20 kg, 도데실머캅탄 0.02 kg 및 아조비스이소부티로니트릴 0.01 kg의 흔합용액을 사용하고, 상기 쉘층을 제조하는 2단계에서 메틸메타크릴레이트 10.92 kg, 에틸아크릴레이트 0.57 kg, 21.8% 나트륨디옥틸설포석시네이트 0.57 kg의
흔합용액을 분당 0.7 kg의 속도로 반응기에 적가한 점을 제외하고, 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로 폴리머 비드를 제조하였다. 실시예 3
상기 쉘층을 제조하는 2단계에서 메틸메타크릴레이트 10.92 kg, 에틸아크릴레이트 0.57 kg, 21.8% 나트륨디옥틸설포석시네이트 0.57 kg의 흔합용액을 분당 0.7 kg의 속도로 반응기에 적가하고, 상기 보호층을 제조하는 3 단계에서.메틸메타크릴레이트 9.12 kg, 메타크릴산 5.00 kg, BL Blue 0H(ICB사, 말단기 히드록시기, 이소퀴놀린계) 1.52 kg, 에틸아크릴레이트 0.30 kg, 알릴메타아크릴레이트 0.20 kg, 도데실머캅탄 0,02 kg 및 아조비스이소부티로니트릴 0.01 kg의 흔합용액을 사용한 점을 제외하고, 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로 폴리머 비드를 제조하였다. 실시예 4
상기 쉘층을 제조하는 2단계에서, BL Blue 0H(ICB사, 말단기 히드록시기, 이소퀴놀린계) 대신 BL Red-Vinyl(ICB사, 말단기 비닐, 유로피움 착화물계; (l,10-Phenanthroline)tris[4.4.4 -trif luoro— 1ᅳ(2- thienyl)-l,2-butane dionato] europium(m) )를 사용한 점을 제외하고, 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로 폴리머 비드를 제조하였다. 실시예 5
상기 쉘층을 제조하는 2단계에서, BL Blue 0H(ICB사, 말단기 히드록시기, 이소퀴놀린계) 대신 BL Green-0H(ICB사, 말단기 히드록시기, 벤조시아졸계; [2— (benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)phenol])를 사용한 점을 제외하고, 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로 폴리머 비드를 제조하였다.
<비교예 1내지 3: 폴리머 비드의 제조 >
비교예 1
상기 쉘층을 제조하는 2단계에서, BL Blue 0H 을 첨가하지 않은 점을 제외하고, 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로 폴리머 비드를 제조하였다.
비교예 2
상기 비교예 1에서 제조한 폴리머 비드 0.95 -kg과 BL Blue 0H( ICB사, 말단기 히드록시기, 이소퀴놀린계) 0.05 kg을 섞어 폴리머 비드 흔합물을 제조하였다. 비교예 3
상기 비교예 1에서 제조한 폴리머 비드 0.97 kg과 BL Red-Vinyl ( ICB사 말단기 비닐기, 유로피움 착화물계) 0.03 kg을 섞어 폴리머 비드 흔합물을 제조하였다.
<실험예 : 실시예 및 비교예에서 얻어진 폴리머 비드의 물성 측정 > 실험예 1. 폴리머 비드의 크기 측정
상기 실시예 및 비교예에서 얻어진 폴리머 비드에 대하여, 레이저 분광기 (Laser Spectroscopy, 오츠카사 ELSZ)을 이용하여 평균 직경을 측정하였고, 그 결과를 하기 표 1 에 나타내었다. 또한, 상기 실시예 5에서 제조된 폴리머 비드에 대해서는 코어부 /쉘층 /보호층 각각의 중합이 완료된 시점마다 평균직경을 측정하여, 코어부 /쉘층 /보호층의 두께를 구하였고, 주사전자현미경 (SEM)으로 측정한사진을 하기 도 1에 나타내었다.

실험예 2. 폴리머 비드의 염료 함량 측정
상기 실시예 및 비교예에서 얻어진 폴리머 비드에 대하여, 적외선 분광기 (Furier Transform Infrared Spectrometer , The oNicolet사, AVATAR
320 E.S.P.)와 원소분석기 (Automatic Elemental Analyzer, Thermo Fisher
Scientific사, FlashEA1112)를 이용하여 염료 함량을 측정하고, 그 결과를 하기 표 2에 나타내었다.

상기 표 2 에 나타난 바와 같이, 실시예 1 내지 3에서 제조된 폴리머 비드의 염료 함유량은 비교예 2 와 동등 수준으로 확인되었다. 따라서, 상기 폴리머 비드 중합과정에서 투입한 염료가 최종 폴리머ᅵ 비드 내부에 함유되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 실험예 3. 폴리머 비드의 내열 흡광도 측정
상기 실시예 및 비교예에서 얻어진 폴리머 비드에 대하여, 270°C에서 30분간 가열한 후 내열도 차이를 측정하였다. 이를 위해, 열처리 전, 후의 폴리머 비드를 DMS0용매에 0.01% 함량으로 흔합한 후 흡광도 측정 기기 (UV- Vis Spectroscopy, Thermo Fisher Scientifi(^ EVOLUTION 600)를 이용하여 최대 흡광도와 최대 흡광 파장을 측정하였고, 그 결과를 하기 표 3에 나타내었다.
이때 열처리 전후의 최대 흡광도 감소율은 하기 수학식 1에 의해 구하였다.

실시예 및 비교예에서 얻어진 폴리머 비드의 내열 흡광도 측정 결과 [측정 가능한 최대 흡광도는 2.0임]
상기 표 3에 나타난 바와 같이, 상기 실시예 1 내지 5에서 제조된 폴리머 비드는 열처리 전후 최대 흡광도 감소율이 10% 미만으로 상기 비교예 2 및 3 에 비해 상대적으로 작게 나타남에 따라, 폴리머 비드 내부에 염료를 함유시킴으로서 상기 염료의 내열성이 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 실험예 4. 폴리머 비드의 내광흡광도측정
상기 실시예 및 비교예에서 얻어진 폴리머 비드를 이용하여, 1T( 1匪) 두께의 아크릴 시편을 제작하였다. 상기 시편에 형광 램프가 구비된 Q-UV 실험기를 사용하여 50시간 동안 자외선을 조사하고, 자외선 조사 전후의 흡광도를 흡광도 측정 기기 (UV-Vi s Spectroscopy, Thermo Fi sher Sci ent i f i c사 EVOLUTION 600)FMF XHDGO 측정하였고, 그 결과를 하기 표 4에 나타내었다.
이때 자외선 조사 전후의 최대 흡광도 감소율은 하기 수학식 2에 의해 구하였다.

상기 표 4에 나타난 바와 같이, 상기 실시예 1 내지 5에서 제조된 폴리머 비드는 자외선 조사 전후 최대 흡광도 감소율이 10% 미만으로 상기
비교예 2 및 3에 비해 상대적으로 작게 나타남에 따라, 폴리머 비드 내부에 염료를 함유시킴으로서 상기 염료의 내광성이 향상되었을 확인하였다.
