  • the charging arm and the horizontal distance between the projector unit and the charging inter ⁇ face it is ensured that the charging interface and any charging connector and/or cables for charging an electric vehicle do not obstruct the light path from the projector unit to the floor area.
  • the hor- izontal distance is between 0.5 m and 2.2 m, more prefera ⁇ bly between 0.8 m and 1.8 m, and even more preferably be ⁇ tween 1 m and 1.6 m.
  • the charging arm is rotatable with respect to the housing around an axis being essentially vertical.
  • a charging arm being rotatable around an es ⁇ sentially vertical axis allows to adapt the charging unit to electric vehicles having their charging socket either on the left side or on the right side of the vehicle. Due to the horizontal distance it is ensured in every rotating po ⁇ sition that the light path remains unobstructed.
  • the charging arm comprises a first segment and a second segment, wherein the charging arm is mounted to the housing at the first segment and wherein the charging interface is arranged at the second segment, wherein the first segment is oriented essentially horizontally and wherein the second segment encloses an an ⁇ gle between 45° and 135° with a horizontal plane, prefera ⁇ bly between 70° and 110°, more preferably around 90°.
  • the charging arm is rotat- able around the axis of the first segment. If the charging arm is rotatable around the axis of the first segment which is essentially horizontal, the charging arm can be moved between a use-position and a store-position. In the use-po ⁇ sition, the charging interface is easily accessible by a user of the charging system, wherein in the store-position, the charging interface is located close to the ceiling above the parking space so that the charging arm does not collide with the vehicle during parking operations.
  • the status data comprise reservation data re- garding the reservation of the parking space by a user.
  • the detecting module may be adapted to obtain the reservation data from a reservation database. This feature allows to display reservation related information on the floor of the parking space. For instance, it is possible to indicate that the parking space is reserved by a certain vehicle user. The indication may be achieved by means of an accord ⁇ ing sign comprising the vehicle registration number. If the parking space is not reserved, other kind of information may be displayed on the floor of the parking space, for in- stance advertisement, weather information, or news.
  • the detecting module comprises a motion detector, wherein the status information comprises movement information recorded by the motion detector.
  • the motion detector may detect movement of persons and/or vehi ⁇ cles in a range of 20 m, 15 m, 10 m, 5 m, 2 m, or 1 m around the parking space or directly within the parking space area.
  • the detection range of the motion detector may be variable.
  • the motion detector sends movement information to the control unit if a vehicle leaves the parking space, wherein the control unit subsequently induces the projector to display an im- age, for example advertisement, to the floor of the parking space .
  • the detecting module furthermore comprises a camera unit, wherein the status data comprise picture information captured by the camera unit.
  • the content which is displayed on the floor of the parking space may be selected as a function of the picture information captured by the camera unit.
  • the camera unit may, for in- stance, be adapted to capture the registration number of a vehicle approaching the parking space. The registration number may be compared with a registration number saved in a reservation database. In case of matching registration numbers, i.e. in case the parking space is reserved for the approaching vehicle, a personalized message such as a wel ⁇ come message may be displayed on the parking space.
  • the detecting module may comprise a data connection unit being adapted to establish a connection with a user, wherein the status data comprise user information.
  • the data connection unit may connect with a mo ⁇ bile device of the user or with the electric vehicle of the user.
  • the data connection unit may use GSM, Wifi, or any other wireless connection standard.
  • a user may estab ⁇ lish a connection with the data connection unit when ap- proaching the parking space.
  • the user may be identified by means of the data connection unit, wherein, for instance, a personalized welcome message may be displayed after the user has connected with the connection unit.
  • the control unit may also be adapted to control the camera unit as a function of movement information detected by the motion detector. This feature provides a further preferred mode of operation, in which the camera captures picture in ⁇ formation of a person approaching the vehicle parking on the parking space. This provides a protection against thieves and, thus, increases the safety.
  • the data connection unit is adapted to send image information captured by the camera unit to a mobile device of the user. It is preferred that the inventive system furthermore com ⁇ prises a speaker unit for generating audio signals, wherein the speaker unit is controlled by the control unit as a function of the status data.
  • control unit is adapted to control the speaker unit, this means that the control unit may select audio content which is to be output by the speaker unit.
  • the control unit and/or the speaker unit may select the audio content to be output from the media server.

  • the camera unit is adapted to monitor the position of a vehicle during a parking process.
  • the projector unit and/or the speaker unit is controlled by the control unit as a function of the picture information captured by the camera unit.
  • the projector unit and/or the speaker unit may provide a warning signal, if a vehicle approaches a boundary or an obstruction of the parking space (such as a wall, or a pillar or a different vehicle being parked on a neighboring parking space) during a parking process.

  • control unit 505 sends a control signal to the laser projectors 514, 515, wherein the laser projectors 514, 514 subsequently project text information comprising the registration number of the user or of his vehicle onto the floor of the parking space 501.
  • the motion detector 508 records movement information and sends the movement information to the control unit 505.
  • the control unit 505 sends a control signal to the camera unit 507.
  • the camera unit 507 subsequently captures the registration number of the arriving vehicle, wherein the control unit 505 compares the registration number captured by the camera unit 507 with the registration number saved in the reservation database. If the parking space is re- served for the vehicle arriving at the parking space, the captured registration number matches the saved registration number.
  • control unit 505 induces the pro ⁇ jector unit 504 and/or the laser projectors 514, 515 to project a welcome message onto the floor of the parking space 501.
  • control unit 505 induces the speaker unit 510 to output an audio welcome message.
  • identification of the user can be conducted by establishing a connection between the data connection unit 509 and a mobile device of the user or the vehicle of the user.
  • control unit 505 induces the projector device 504 and/or the laser projectors 514, 515 to display a warning message which may point out to the vehicle driver that this parking space is reserved for someone else. If a non-registered ve ⁇ hicle is parked on the parking space 501, the registration number of the vehicle is saved by the control unit 505.
  • the camera unit 507 monitors the vehicle during the parking process in order to ensure a safe parking process.
  • the projector unit 504 and the speaker unit 510 are controlled as a function of the picture information recorded by the camera unit 507.
  • a warning signal is displayed by the projector unit 504 and a warning sound is output by the speaker unit 510, in case the vehi ⁇ cle comes close to an obstacle (such as a wall, a pillar or a different vehicle) during the parking process.
  • the camera unit 507 monitors the car after the parking process in order to protect the vehicle against theft.
  • the camera unit 507 captures picture information of the area around the parking space 501, if an approach of a person is detected by the motion detector 508.
  • the captured picture information is sent to a mobile device of the user via the data connection unit 509.

Due to the attachment on the ceiling, the light path of the projector unit 504 and the laser projectors 514, 515 is un ⁇ obstructed and a large area of the parking space 501 can be used as a screen. In this way a large scale image 516 and a large scale laser projection area 518 can be generated.
  • the laser projectors 514, 515 are ar ⁇ ranged remote from each other at opposite sides of the housing 517.
  • the size of the projection area 518 of the laser projectors 514, 515 is increased even more.

  • the charging arm 502 comprises a first segment 520 and a second segment 519, wherein the segments enclose a 90° angle between each other.
  • the charging arm 502 is rotatably at ⁇ tached to the housing 517 of the charging unit.
  • the charg ⁇ ing arm 502 can, thus, be rotated around the housing 517 around an essentially vertical axis.
  • the first segment 520 has a length of about 1.3 m.
  • the charging interface 503 is spaced from the projecting unit 504 in the horizontal direction by about 1.5 m.
  • the charging interface is still spaced from the projector unit 504 in the horizontal direction by about 1.1 m. Accordingly, the charging arm, the charging interface, and any connectors or cables which may be attached to the interface 503 do not obstruct the light path from the pro ⁇ jector unit 504 to the floor area of the parking space.
  • the charging arm 502 is furthermore rotatable about the axis of the first segment 520. By means of a rotation around the axis of the first segment 520 the charging arm can be moved from the use-position shown in Figure 3 into a store-position in which the charging interface is arranged close to the ceiling above the parking space (not shown) .
  • the charging arm 502 is easily accessi ⁇ ble to a user, wherein in the store-position it does not impede the user's vehicle during parking processes.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système pour charger la batterie d'un véhicule électrique stationnant sur un espace de stationnement (501). Le système comprend une unité de charge (500) ayant une interface (503) pour la connexion avec une prise de charge correspondante du véhicule électrique. Selon l'invention, le système comprend une unité de projecteur (504), une unité de commande (505), et un module de détection (506). L'unité de projecteur (504) est apte à projeter une image sur la zone de sol de l'espace de stationnement (501). L'unité de projecteur (504) comprend en outre une entrée pour recevoir des signaux de commande à partir de l'unité de commande (505). Le module de détection (506) est apte à détecter des données d'état du système. Le module de détection comprend une sortie pour envoyer les données d'état à l'unité de commande (505). L'unité de commande comprend une entrée (511) pour recevoir les données d'état à partir du module de détection (506). L'unité de commande (505) est apte à commander l'unité de projecteur (504) en fonction des données d'état. Par la détection des données d'état du système, il est possible de fournir des informations utiles à l'utilisateur, ce qui améliore la convivialité et la sécurité du système.
