Definitions
- This disclosure relates to crawlers.
- a crawler In order to suppress the meandering of the crawler during running on rough terrain or turning, a crawler is disclosed in which the inner peripheral surface of the crawler is inclined to improve the straightness of the vehicle (for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-2004). 161193).
- an embodiment of the present invention aims to suppress crawler meandering while reducing the force locally applied to the crawler.
- the crawler according to the first aspect of the present invention includes a crawler body formed endless by an elastic body, A flat portion wound in the circumferential direction of the crawler body and embedded in the crawler main body, and arranged in a cross-sectional view in the thickness direction of the crawler main body along the width direction of the crawler main body, than the flat portion
- a rotating wheel provided in a vehicle rolls, and includes a flat surface formed on an inner peripheral surface on the outer side in the width direction of the crawler body from the guide protrusion, In a linear portion when the crawler body is viewed from the side, the thickness from the virtual surface obtained by extending the flat portion in the width direction of the crawler body to the outer edge of the inclined portion in the width direction of the crawler body is expressed as (
- the crawler of the inclined portion of the tensile body is extended from the virtual surface obtained by extending the flat portion of the tensile body in the width direction of the crawler body in the linear portion when the crawler body is viewed from the side.
- the thickness up to the outer edge of the main body in the width direction is (L).
- the curvature radius of the flat part in the curved part (the part wound around the driving wheel and the idle wheel) when the crawler body is viewed from the side is (R), and the distance between the rotation axes of the driving wheel and the idle wheel is (l).
- the circumferential length (circumferential length) of the crawler main body of the flat portion is represented by (2 ⁇ R + 2l).
- the outer edge of the inclined portion of the tensile body in the width direction of the crawler body is represented by [2 ⁇ (R + L) + 2l].
- the value obtained by subtracting the peripheral length of the flat portion from the peripheral length of the outer edge in the width direction of the crawler main body of the inclined portion is represented by (2 ⁇ L).
- the value obtained by subtracting the circumferential length of the flat portion from the circumferential length of the outer edge in the width direction of the crawler body of the inclined portion is less than (2 ⁇ L). Therefore, the thickness from the virtual surface obtained by extending the flat portion of the tensile body in the width direction of the crawler body in the curved portion to the outer edge in the width direction of the crawler body of the inclined portion of the tensile body is expressed by (L) Is also small.
- the crawler of the first aspect of the invention when the crawler rotates and the inclined portion of the tensile body moves from the linear portion to the curved portion, the end in the width direction of the crawler main body is It is pulled and curved toward the inner peripheral side, and the inner peripheral surface of the end portion in the width direction of the crawler main body is inclined toward the inner peripheral side of the crawler main body.
- the crawler tries to meander the relative position in the width direction of the crawler body with the drive wheel and idler wheel and the crawler body shifts, and the drive wheel and idler wheel are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the crawler body in the crawler width direction.
- the inclined surface on one side is pressed.
- the rolling wheels roll on a flat surface, so that the wheel rolling surface is entirely inclined relative to the crawler inner peripheral surface compared to the crawler. A local force applied from the rolling wheels can be suppressed. For this reason, damage to the inner peripheral surface of the crawler is suppressed.
- the crawler according to the second aspect of the present invention is the crawler according to the first aspect, wherein the inclined portion has the same length in the crawler circumferential direction as the flat portion.
- the crawler of the second aspect of the present invention since the circumferential length of the crawler main body of the inclined portion and the flat portion is the same, the crawler rotates and the inclined portion of the tensile body moves from the linear portion to the curved portion. Then, the inclined portion inclined toward the outer peripheral side of the crawler is pulled toward the inner peripheral side of the crawler by the tension of the tensile body and inclined toward the inner peripheral side. For this reason, the angle which the inner peripheral surface of the width direction edge part of a crawler main body inclines to the inner peripheral side of a crawler main body becomes large. Therefore, the effect of suppressing crawler meandering can be enhanced.
- the crawler according to a third aspect of the present invention is the crawler according to the first aspect or the second aspect, wherein the crawler body is viewed from the side in a state where the crawler body is wound around a driving wheel and an idler wheel provided in a vehicle.
- the distance between the outer end in the width direction of the crawler main body of the inclined portion and the flat portion in the linear portion is 0.1% or more of the distance between the rotation shafts of the drive wheel and the idler wheel.
- the distance between the outer end portion in the width direction of the crawler main body and the flat portion of the inclined portion in the linear portion is 0.1% of the distance between the rotating shafts of the driving wheel and the idler wheel.
- the inclined portion of the curved portion where the driving wheel and the idler wheel come into contact is strongly pulled toward the inner peripheral side of the crawler by the inclined portion of the tensile body in the linear portion of the crawler body. For this reason, the effect that the tensile body bends the crawler body toward the inner peripheral side of the crawler body is enhanced.
- the crawler according to the fourth aspect of the present invention is a coreless crawler that does not include a crawler cored bar in the crawler according to any one of the first to third aspects.
- the crawler body Since the crawler according to the fourth aspect of the present invention does not include a cored bar, the crawler body has a lower bending rigidity than a crawler including a cored bar. For this reason, in the curved part which looked at the crawler main body from the side, if a tensile body inclines to the inner peripheral side of a crawler main body, a crawler main body will deform
- meandering of the crawler can be suppressed while relaxing the force locally applied to the crawler.

- the ring portion 100A rolls while the outer peripheral surface 100B comes into contact with a wheel rolling surface 40 of a rubber crawler 92 described later.
- pin portions (not shown) are formed at regular intervals in the circumferential direction so as to be spanned between the peripheral portions of the pair of ring portions 100A. This pin portion is engaged (engaged) with a guide protrusion 16 described later, and the driving force from the crawler wheel is transmitted to the rubber crawler 92 by engaging with the guide protrusion 16. .
- the idler wheel 102 has a pair of disc-shaped wheel portions 102A that are rotatably attached to the crawler wheel.
- the ring portion 102A rolls while the outer peripheral surface 102B comes into contact with a wheel rolling surface 40 of a rubber crawler 92 described later.
- the idle wheel 102 is pressed in a direction away from the drive wheel 100 by a pressurizing mechanism such as hydraulic pressure (not shown) provided on the crawler vehicle side, and is pressed against the wheel rolling surface 40 of the rubber crawler 92 to tension the rubber crawler 92. (Tension) is maintained.
