- the control by the arm balance control unit 27 as described above balances the positive capacitor voltage Vcpp and the negative capacitor voltage Vcpn and suppresses the voltage variation between the positive arm 5 and the negative arm 6 as follows. Explained.
- the current component flowing through the power converter 1 Since the power converter 1 outputs direct current and alternating current, the current flowing through the power converter 1 is mainly composed of two components, a direct current component and an alternating current fundamental wave component. Therefore, the main components of the positive side arm current ip + and the negative side arm current ip ⁇ are also two components of a DC component and an AC fundamental wave component.
- the DC component of the current is a component having the same magnitude and polarity in the positive arm current ip + and the negative arm current ip ⁇
- the AC fundamental wave component of the current is the positive arm current ip + and the negative arm current ip ⁇ .
- the voltage output from the power converter 1 Since the power converter 1 outputs direct current and alternating current, the voltage output from the power converter 1 is mainly composed of two components, a direct current component and an alternating current fundamental wave component. Therefore, the main components of the voltage output from the cell group 5a in the positive arm 5 and the voltage output from the cell group 6a in the negative arm 6 are also two components of a DC component and an AC fundamental wave component.
- the DC components of the voltage output from the cell group 5a in the positive arm 5 and the voltage output from the cell group 6a in the negative arm 6 are components having the same magnitude and polarity, and the AC fundamental wave component is large. Are components of equal and opposite polarity.
- the neutral point adjustment value calculation unit 51 controls the voltage balance between the positive-side capacitor voltage Vcpp and the negative-side capacitor voltage Vcpn of all phases in detail.
- the neutral point voltage Vsn zero phase voltage
- ⁇ Vcz which is a zero-phase component
- the polarity for adjusting the neutral point voltage Vsn depends on the polarity of the zero-phase current, that is, the polarity 61a of the DC current Idc, ⁇ Vsn obtained by adding the polarity 61a of the DC current Idc to the zero-phase component ⁇ Vcz The second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn.
- the zero-phase component ⁇ Vcz is subtracted from the voltage adjustment value 57a described above for the purpose of separately adjusting the neutral point voltage Vsn (zero-phase voltage) using the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn.
- the first voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vc is calculated for each phase. Therefore, for example, even when the voltage balance between the positive-side capacitor voltage Vcpp and the negative-side capacitor voltage Vcpn is different for each phase, control corresponding to the state of each phase is possible. This further improves the accuracy of arm balance control.
- the average value of the detected voltage of the DC capacitor 34 (44) in the positive side arm 5 and the DC capacitor in the negative side arm 6 are respectively used.
- 34 (44) and the average value of the detection voltages were used.
- the voltage is not limited to the average value, and for example, an arbitrarily selected voltage of the DC capacitor 34 (44) may be used.
- the AC terminal 7 which is a connection point of the positive side arm 5 and the negative side arm 6 is connected to each phase AC line, whereby the three-phase AC power source 14 and the power
- the positive side arm 5 and the negative side arm 6 may be connected in series and connected to each phase AC line via a transformer to exchange power with the three-phase AC power supply 14.
- FIG. 7 is a block diagram showing a detailed configuration of the arm balance control unit 227 according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
- the difference from the first embodiment is that, in the first embodiment, the polarity 61a of the zero-phase current in the positive arm 5 and the negative arm 6 is determined from the DC current Idc.
- the difference is that the polarity 61a of the zero-phase current in the side arm 5 and the negative side arm 6 is determined and detected.
- the polarity determination unit 61 determines the direction of the zero-phase current in the positive arm 5 and the negative arm 6, that is, the polarity 61a, from the active power P.
- the multiplier 60 multiplies the zero-phase component ⁇ Vcz calculated by the AC side adjustment value calculation unit 50 by the polarity 61a of the zero-phase current to calculate the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn.
- the active power P may be AC side output power or DC side output power.
- the same effects as those of the first embodiment can be obtained, and the positive arm 5 is reduced while reducing the amount of calculation by eliminating the calculation for detecting the phase and the like. It is possible to balance the voltage Vcpp of the DC capacitor 34 (44) within the DC voltage and the voltage Vcpn of the DC capacitor 34 (44) within the negative arm 6. As a result, overvoltage of the DC capacitor 34 (44) can be prevented, and stable operation is possible even when the system is abnormal. Moreover, since stable operation is possible even when the system is abnormal as described above, outflow of harmonics can be suppressed and power conversion efficiency can be improved.
- FIG. 8 is a block diagram showing a detailed configuration of the arm balance control unit 327 according to the third embodiment of the present invention.
- the neutral point adjustment value calculation unit 351 includes a selection determination unit 80 that compares the magnitude of the direct current Idc flowing through the power converter 1 with a set threshold value.
- the selection determination unit 80 When the magnitude of the direct current Idc exceeds the threshold value, the selection determination unit 80 outputs “1” as the determination information 80a1 and outputs “0” as the determination information 80a2. In this case, since the determination information 80a1 is 1, the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn is valid, and since the determination information 80a2 is 0, the first voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vc is invalid. Then, the AC side command calculation unit 24 calculates the AC voltage command Vacp without performing adjustment using the first voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vc of the AC control command Vcp. On the other hand, the neutral point command calculation unit 25 calculates the neutral point voltage command Vn based on the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn and the detected neutral point voltage Vsn, as in the first and second embodiments. That is, the arm balance control using only the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn can be performed without performing the adjustment using the first voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vc.
- the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn is invalidated.
- the neutral point adjustment value calculation unit 51 normally calculates the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn using the direct current Idc, and is effective only when a current is flowing through the power converter 100. It is. For this reason, when the value of the direct current Idc is a small value that is equal to or smaller than the threshold value, the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn may not be normally calculated. Therefore, the control is performed without using the second voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vsn.
- the first voltage adjustment value ⁇ V is not a value calculated using the DC current Idc. For this reason, even when the direct current Idc is small, there is no problem in the calculation of the first voltage adjustment value ⁇ V, and the AC side command calculation unit 24 performs the calculation using the first voltage adjustment value ⁇ Vc.
- the same effects as those of the first and second embodiments are achieved, and the calculation amount is reduced while eliminating the calculation for detecting the phase and the like.
- the voltage Vcpp of the DC capacitor 34 (44) in the arm 5 and the voltage Vcpn of the DC capacitor 34 (44) in the negative side arm 6 can be balanced.
- overvoltage of the DC capacitor 34 (44) can be prevented, and stable operation is possible even when the system is abnormal.
- stable operation is possible even when the system is abnormal as described above, outflow of harmonics can be suppressed and power conversion efficiency can be improved.
- stable arm balance control can be provided even when the magnitude of the direct current Idc flowing through the power converter 1 or the active power P is small.
Abstract
