- the lower molding tool 61 attached to is raised.
- the lower molding tool moving portion 63 presses the lower molding tool 61 from the axial direction against the coil end portion 16d that protrudes downward from the stator core 10, and the coil The end portion 16d is formed.
- the upper forming tool moving unit 64 is attached to the lower surface of the upper elevating plate 64a by driving the motor 64c to rotate the ball screw 64b in synchronization and lowering the upper elevating plate 64a to which the ball screw 64b is screwed.
- the upper molding tool 62 is lowered.
- the upper forming tool moving portion 64 presses the upper forming tool 62 from the axial direction against the coil end portion 16 c protruding upward from the stator core 10. 16c is molded.
- the height of the coil end portions 16c and 16d protruding from the end face of the stator core 10 is smaller than the height before molding. Therefore, according to the stator manufacturing method of the present embodiment, the heights of the coil end portions 16c and 16d protruding from both end faces of the stator core 10 can be made relatively small, and the height thereof can be increased over the entire circumference. A uniform stator 9 can be obtained.
- the coil end portions 16c and 16d are formed in a state where the pusher 43 is inserted into the corresponding holding groove 23. Therefore, even if the coil end portions 16c and 16d are formed by pressing the lower and upper forming tools 61 and 62, the side portions 16a and 16b continuous to the coil end portions 16c and 16d to be crushed due to the presence of the pusher 43 Separation from the slot 12 can be effectively prevented. Therefore, according to the stator manufacturing method of the present embodiment, the side portions 16a and 16b of the stator coil 16 are prevented from being detached from the slot 12, and the coil end portions 16c and 16d that protrude from the edge of the stator core 10 are prevented. The height can be lowered.
- the coil end portions 16c and 16d will protrude from the edge of the stator core 10 generated in the coil end portions 16c and 16d.
- the force that the pair of side portions 16a and 16b tries to jump out of the slot 12 changes to a force that moves toward the outer diameter side of the stator core 10 and is accommodated in the slot 12.
- the edges 16a and 16b of the stator coil 16 inserted into the slot 12 are prevented from jumping out of the slot 12, and the end of the stator core 10 is prevented.
- the height of the coil end portions 16c and 16d protruding from the edge can be reduced.
- the lower and upper forming tools 61 and 62 are separated from the stator core 10, the pusher 43 is removed from the holding groove 23, and the insertion jig 21 is attached to the inner periphery of the starter core 10.
- the stator 9 in which the stator coil 16 is assembled to the slot 12 of the stator core 10 can be obtained by extracting from the stator core 10.
- the stator 9 obtained in this way is in a state where the coil end portions 16 c and 16 d protrude in a compact and uniform manner, so that the stator 9 itself or a motor made using this stator 9 can be used. It can be made compact.
- the pushers 43 are inserted into the corresponding holding grooves 23, and after the pair of side portions 16 a and 16 b are inserted into the slots 12, the edges of the stator cores 10 of the plurality of stator coils 16 are The case where the molding tools 61 and 62 are pressed against the projecting coil end portions 16c and 16d from the axial direction has been described.
- the coil The pushers 43 can be inserted into the corresponding holding grooves 23 while pressing the molding tools 61 and 62 against the end portions 16 c and 16 d, and the pair of side portions 16 a and 16 b can be inserted into the slot 12. That is, in the stator manufacturing method of the present embodiment, the step of inserting the plurality of pushers 43 into the plurality of holding grooves 23 of the insertion jig 21 is performed by the coil end portions of the stator coil 16 by the lower and upper molding tools 61 and 62. You may perform simultaneously with the step which shape
- the coil end portions 16c and 16d When the lower and upper molding tools 61 and 62 are brought into contact with the coil end portions 16c and 16d before the pair of side portions 16a and 16b are inserted into the slot 12, the coil end portions 16c and 16d The portions of the forming tools 61 and 62 where the plurality of slits 61b and 62b are formed are brought into contact. When the portions where the slits 61b and 62b are formed have a conical shape, the coil end portions 16c and 16d contacting the portions are guided in the outer diameter direction due to the inclination, and the stator coil 16 The whole can be quickly expanded in the outer diameter direction.
- the pair of side portions 16a and 16b are inserted into the slot 12 by the pusher 43 while pressing the lower and upper forming tools 61 and 62 against the coil end portions 16c and 16d, the pair of side portions 16a and 16b are It is also possible to prevent the stator coil 16 from returning to the inner side in the axial direction of the stator core 10 by the axial movement of the pusher 43 guided in the outer diameter direction.
- slits 61 b and 62 b are formed radially from the central holes 61 a and 62 a. , That part should remain thick. Accordingly, the portions for forming the coil end portions 16c and 16d of the stator coil 16 in which the pair of side portions 16a and 16b are inserted into the slot 12 may be formed as the circumferential grooves M and N.
- the lower and upper molding tools 61 and 62 When the lower and upper molding tools 61 and 62 are pressed against the coil end portions 16c and 16d from the axial direction, the lower and upper molding tools in which the portions where the plurality of slits 61b and 62b are formed are formed in a conical shape. Compared to 61 and 62, the coil end portions 16c and 16d at the edge of the stator core 10 can be reliably molded within the circumferential grooves M and N. Further, since the coil end portions 16c and 16d can be formed to be widened to the outer peripheral side, it can be expected that a subsequent process of inserting a rotor or the like (not shown) into the inner periphery of the stator core 10 will be smoothly performed thereafter.
- the elevating means is not limited to the combination of the ball screw 51 and the motor 52, and may use hydraulic pressure or air pressure, or a combination thereof.
