Abstract
Description
前記第1および第2連続ウエブの連続方向に沿った搬送方向に前記連続積層体を搬送する工程と、
前記第1連続ウエブと第2連続ウエブとが互いに重なるように前記連続積層体を前記吸収性本体において2つに折る工程と、
互いに重なる前記第1および第2連続ウエブの前記搬送方向に延び前記着用物品のレッグホールとなる第1側縁部の一部を、前記搬送方向に間欠的に互いに接合する第1接合工程と、
前記第1接合工程の後に、前記第1または第2連続ウエブの少なくとも一方の連続ウエブについて、前記一方の連続ウエブに生じている皺を幅方向に伸ばす工程と、
前記皺を伸ばした状態で前記第1連続ウエブと前記第2連続ウエブとを少なくとも前記第1側縁部の反対側の第2側縁部の一部において互いに接合する第2接合工程とを備える。
前記第1および第2連続ウエブの連続方向に沿った第1搬送方向に前記連続積層体を搬送するための搬送装置と、
前記第1連続ウエブと第2連続ウエブとが互いに重なるように前記連続積層体を前記吸収性本体において2つに折る折り装置と、
互いに重なる前記第1および第2連続ウエブの前記第1搬送方向に延び前記着用物品のレッグホールとなる第1側縁部の一部を、前記第1搬送方向に間欠的に互いに接合する第1接合装置と、
前記第1または第2連続ウエブの少なくとも一方の連続ウエブについて、前記一方の連続ウエブに生じている皺を幅方向に伸ばすために、前記第1搬送方向に直交する主軸線方向に対し傾斜した傾斜軸線上に配置された少なくとも1本の傾斜ローラと、
前記皺を伸ばした状態で前記第1連続ウエブと前記第2連続ウエブとを少なくとも前記第1側縁部の反対側の第2側縁部の一部において互いに接合する第2接合装置とを備える。
なお、傾斜ローラは複数本設けられてもよい。
この場合、第1接合工程において接合された第1側縁部同士の一部が幅方向に移動しにくい。そのため、前記シールの確実性が高まる。
この場合、第1接合工程により接合される部位の皺が予め幅方向に伸ばされる。そのため、第1接合工程において所期の接合状態や接合力が得られ易い。
前記傾斜ローラによる第2搬送方向が前記第1搬送方向の下流に向かうに従い他方の連続ウエブの前記第2側縁部に向かうように設定されている。
この場合、第1接合装置により接合された第1側縁部同士の一部が幅方向に移動しにくい。
この場合、第1接合装置により接合される部位の皺が皺伸ばし装置により予め幅方向に伸ばされる。そのため、第1接合装置により接合される第1側縁部の一部において所期の接合状態や接合力が得られ易い。
なお、本明細書中のカタカナ表記の一部には、その意味をより明瞭にするために英単語を()で併記している。
本製造装置は、図1Bの個々の着用物品1の一方の胴部となる図2の第1連続ウエブW1と、前記着用物品の他方の胴部となる第2連続ウエブW2と、前記第1および第2連続ウエブW1,W2の幅方向Dに架設された複数の吸収性本体2とを備えた連続積層体Rから前記着用物品1(図1B)を生成する。
なお、捩り装置13は一対のローラを多数組並べて構成されてもよいし、一対のコンベヤベルトが複数組設けられて構成されてもよい。
この接合は仮止め程度の接合であってもよく、第1接合装置14としては例えばヒートシール装置が採用されてもよい。
なお、図1B、図2Aおよび図2Bにおいて、この接合部分にはドット模様が付されている。
なお、図4Bにおいて、連続積層体Rは二点鎖線で図示されている。
前記傾斜ローラ16は第1側縁部M1に非接触の状態で、かつ、前記第1連続ウエブW1における前記胴部の第2側縁部L2に接するように配置されている。前記傾斜ローラ16による第2搬送方向X2が前記第1搬送方向X1の下流に向かうに従い前記第2連続ウエブW2の前記第2側縁部L2に向かうように、前記傾斜ローラ16の傾斜軸線16Aの傾きが設定されている。
なお、傾斜ローラ16は1本であってもよいし、3本以上であってもよい。傾斜ローラ16が複数本である場合、同じ方向に傾いていれば、互いに平行でなくてもよい。
前記一対の保持ローラ15Rは、前記傾斜ローラ16,16に接して搬送されることによる前記第1連続ウエブW1の搬送の距離の増加と同じ大きさの距離の増加が、前記第2連続ウエブW2の搬送経路に生じるように、前記第2連続ウエブW2に接する。
なお、図4Bに示すように、前記一対の保持ローラ15R,15Rは、互いに平行に、かつ、前記主軸線15A方向に延びている。
前記第2接合装置17は前記第1連続ウエブW1の皺が伸びた状態で前記第1連続ウエブW1と前記第2連続ウエブW2とを少なくとも図2Bの前記第1側縁部M1の反対側の第2側縁部L2の一部において互いに接合すればよい。
本実施例の場合、図2Bのように、前記第1連続ウエブW1と前記第2連続ウエブW2とを前記第1側縁部M1から第2側縁部L2の全幅にわたってシール部Sにおいて互いに接合する。
なお、この切断は超音波ホーン17Hで溶着する際に同時に行われてもよい。
図2Aに示すように、第1連続ウエブW1と第2連続ウエブW2との間に前記吸収性本体2が幅方向Dに次々に架設されて連続積層体Rが生成される。前記第1および第2連続ウエブW1,W2の連続方向に沿った第1搬送方向X1に前記連続積層体Rを搬送しながら、以下の折る工程、第1接合工程、伸ばす工程、第2接合工程および切断工程が実行される。
すなわち、第1連続ウエブW1が幅方向Dに縮んだ状態で、互いに隣り合う前記吸収性本体2,2間の中央部分において、第1および第2連続ウエブW1,W2の第1側縁部M1同士が互いに一部において重なるように前記連続積層体Rを折り畳むと、両連続ウエブW1,W2の第2側縁部L2同士は互いに幅方向Dにズレる。
図5A~図6Aのように、前記連続積層体Rの前記第2連続ウエブW2が一対の保持ローラ15Rを通過することで、前記第1接合工程において接合された前記第1側縁部M1の一部が前記幅方向Dに移動するのを抑制ないし防止する保持工程が実行される。
また、第1連続ウエブW1の第1側縁部M1のうち第1接合工程において接合された一部は第2連続ウエブW2を介して保持ローラ15Rに保持されており、第2搬送方向X2に搬送されることが防止される。すなわち、互いに隣り合う前記吸収性本体2,2間の中央部分において、前記第1連続ウエブW1の第1側縁部M1は前記第2搬送方向X2に搬送されることなく、前記第1搬送方向X1に搬送され、同ウエブW1の第2側縁部L2は搬送方向X2に搬送される。
すなわち、互いに隣り合う前記吸収性本体2,2間の中央部分において、前記第1および第2連続ウエブW1,W2の各第1側縁部M1は幅方向Dに移動することなく第1搬送方向X1に搬送される。一方、第1連続ウエブW1の第2側縁部L2は前記第2搬送方向X2に搬送されて前記第1連続ウエブW1の皺が幅方向Dに引き伸ばされて、端部3Eにおいて、第1連続ウエブW1の幅と第2連続ウエブW2の幅とが等しくなる。
本実施例の場合、図5Bに示すように、前記第1連続ウエブW1と前記第2連続ウエブW2とが、2つの端部3Eの一方の部位(一端部)において、前記第1側縁部M1から第2側縁部L2にわたって互いに接合される。
図11Aおよび図11Bにおいて、本実施例では前胴回り部材3Fの凹部42と後胴回り部材3Bの凸部41との間に吸収性本体2が架設されている。一方、図11Aの展開図および図11Bに示すように、前後の胴回り部材3F,3Bは互いにシールされる両端部3E,3Eにおいて、同じ高さ(幅)であってもよい。
図8に示すように、搬送部61はドラムで皺伸ばし装置60の一部を形成する。図9に示すように、本搬送部61は駆動軸64からの駆動力で図8のように周速度V1で回転する。この周速度V1の接線方向は第1連続ウエブW1の搬送速度V2と同じ方向で、かつ、搬送速度V2よりも大きい。したがって、搬送部61の接触面6Fに対する第1連続ウエブW1の相対速度Vの方向(相対方向)XRは仮想線で示すように、実際の搬送方向(第1搬送方向)X1とは逆の方向となる。
なお、第1連続ウエブW1は接触面6Fに対し線接触に近い状態で接する。
なお、図9において、スリット7は展開した状態で、二点鎖線で図示されている。
まず、前述の実施例と同様に第1連続ウエブW1と第2連続ウエブW2との間に前記吸収性本体2が幅方向Dに次々に架設されて連続積層体Rが生成される。前記第1および第2連続ウエブW1,W2の連続方向に沿った第1搬送方向X1に前記連続積層体Rを搬送しながら、以下の折る工程、第1伸ばし工程、第1接合工程、第2伸ばし工程、第2接合工程および切断工程が実行される。
なお、図8~図10において、スリット7に吸引されている被吸引部10にはドット模様を付している。
接合後または接合時に連続積層体Rは個々のパンツに切断されてもよい。
たとえば、本製造方法によって製造される着用物品は弾性部材が設けられていなくてもよい。
また、各連続ウエブは積層体でなくてもよい。
また、皺が引き伸ばされるウエブは凹凸を有していない側縁部が搬送方向に平行に延びるウエブでもよい。
したがって、そのような変更および修正は、請求の範囲から定まる本発明の範囲内のものと解釈される。

- 個々の着用物品の一方の胴部となる第1連続ウエブと、前記着用物品の他方の胴部となる第2連続ウエブと、前記第1および第2連続ウエブの幅方向に架設された複数の吸収性本体とを備えた連続積層体から前記着用物品を生成する着用物品の製造方法であって、
前記第1および第2連続ウエブの連続方向に沿った搬送方向に前記連続積層体を搬送する工程と、
前記第1連続ウエブと第2連続ウエブとが互いに重なるように前記連続積層体を前記吸収性本体において2つに折る工程と、
互いに重なった前記第1および第2連続ウエブの前記搬送方向に延び前記着用物品のレッグホールを形成する第1側縁部の一部を、前記搬送方向に間欠的に互いに接合する第1接合工程と、
前記第1接合工程の後に、前記第1または第2連続ウエブの少なくとも一方の連続ウエブについて、前記一方の連続ウエブに生じている皺を幅方向に伸ばす工程と、
前記皺を伸ばした状態で前記第1連続ウエブと前記第2連続ウエブとを少なくとも前記第1側縁部の反対側の第2側縁部の一部において互いに接合する第2接合工程とを備える、着用物品の製造方法。 - 請求項1の方法において、

前記第1接合装置によって接合された前記第1側縁部の一部が前記幅方向に移動するのを抑制ないし防止する保持装置を更に備える、着用物品の製造装置。 - 請求項6の製造装置において、
前記第1接合装置により接合される前記第1側縁部の一部に生じている皺を前記幅方向に伸ばす皺伸し装置を更に備える、着用物品の製造装置。
