Definitions
- the present invention relates to a component mounting machine in which a plurality of thin component supply means for storing a plurality of components is detachable.
- an electronic component mounting machine has a mounting head for mounting an electronic component on a circuit board, and the mounting head removes the electronic component from the component supply unit and mounts it on the circuit board. At that time, the electronic component held by the mounting head is judged based on the image data, and if it is confirmed that the electronic component is damaged, the electronic component is disposed without being mounted on the circuit board. Further, not only the damage but also the case where the electronic component is not held in an appropriate state by the mounting head is determined to be non-conforming and disposed of. The cause of the nonconformity determination regarding such component holding is that the electronic component is misaligned at the component supply position where the mounting head picks up the electronic component. In a component mounting machine that handles minute objects such as electronic components, the influence of positional deviation is particularly great. Therefore, the following Patent Document 1 also discloses a component mounting machine that can cope with such a problem.
- the component mounting machine of the same document is a device in which a plurality of tape feeders containing a large number of electronic components are mounted on the device table of the component supply unit.
- the tape feeder which is a thin component supply means having a small width dimension, is configured to be detachable by being taken in and out along a guide groove formed in the device table.
- the tape feeder is provided with a positioning pin capable of moving up and down, and the positioning pin is fitted into the guide groove when mounted on the device table.
- the positioning pin is formed so that the gap between the positioning pin and the guide groove is smaller than the gap between the tape feeder and the guide groove, so that the tape feeder can be positioned not only in the front-rear direction but also in the left-right direction. Is.
- the positioning accuracy of the position where the mounting head sucks and holds the component, that is, the component supply position in the tape feeder is improved by positioning the mounted tape feeder in the width direction by the positioning pin.
- a plurality of tape feeders are mounted on the device table, and the interval between them is extremely narrow. For this reason, in an operation of attaching / detaching the tape feeder performed by an operator, the tape feeder that is performing attachment / detachment may come into contact with an adjacent tape feeder. This is especially likely when a tape feeder that has run out of parts needs to be quickly replaced with a new one.
- the thin component supply means such as the tape feeder is not firmly fixed to the device table or the like, and thus is easily affected by the force applied in the width direction. That is, it is pushed in the width direction to cause an inclination, and the electronic component at the component supply position is likely to be displaced.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a component mounting machine in which a thin component supply unit can be attached and detached without interfering with other thin component supply units.
- a conveyance device that conveys a substrate to a predetermined position, a component supply device that accommodates a plurality of components, and a component that is taken out from the component supply device are conveyed by the conveyance device.
- a component mounting device for mounting on a board wherein the component supply device includes a plurality of thin component supply means that accommodate a plurality of components in a width direction in a posture in which the width direction side surface is erected.
- the thin component supply means is attached / detached with the horizontal direction orthogonal to the width direction of the mounted thin component supply means as an attachment / detachment direction, the thin component supply means is moved.
- the thin component supply unit moves along the guide portion, and the posture auxiliary unit moves the thin component supply unit in the width direction. Supported from both sides. For this reason, the standing posture of the thin component supply means becomes stable during attachment and detachment, and the thin component supply means handled by the operator can be attached and detached without interfering with other thin component supply means already mounted. Can do.
- FIG. 1 is an external perspective view showing a part of the electronic component mounting machine as seen through. What is shown here is that a plurality of electronic component mounting machines 1 are arranged in the width direction, circuit boards are conveyed in order inside each electronic component mounting machine 1, and predetermined electronic components are mounted in each of them. .
- FIG. 1 shows a configuration in which two electronic component mounting machines 1 are installed on the base 10, the number of electronic component mounting machines 1 can be freely changed depending on the manufacturing contents.
- the electronic component mounting machine 1 has a narrow width, and a plurality of electronic component mounting machines 1 are arranged in the width direction so as to be compact. Such an electronic component mounting machine 1 has a large opening on the side surface in the width direction, and a circuit board is transferred to and from the adjacent electronic component mounting machine 1 through the opening.
- the width direction of the electronic component mounting machine 1 which is the direction in which the circuit board is conveyed, is defined as the X-axis direction, and the electronic component mounting machine 1 orthogonal thereto. Is the Y-axis direction, and the height direction of the electronic component mounting machine 1 is the Z-axis direction.
- the electronic component mounting machine 1 has a substrate transfer device 2 that transfers a circuit board to the center when the machine body is viewed in the Y-axis direction, which is the longitudinal direction, and the front side (electronic component mounting machine 1 shown in the drawing).
- the component supply device 3 is configured to supply an electronic component to a position on the front side.
- a mounting head 41 for performing an electronic component mounting operation is disposed on the rear side of the machine body opposite to the installation position of the component supply device 3. The mounting head 41 is moved and taken out from the component supply device 3.
- a component mounting device 4 for mounting electronic components onto a circuit board on the substrate transfer device 2 is configured.
- the board transfer device 2, the component supply device 3, the component mounting device 4, and the like are assembled on the mounting machine main body 101, and a main body cover 102 that covers them is formed integrally with the mounting machine main body 101. Yes.
- the substrate transfer device 2, the component supply device 3, the component mounting device 4, and the like are configured as follows.
- two transport units 201 and 202 having the same configuration are arranged side by side, and transport of a circuit board and mounting of electronic components on the circuit board are performed at two locations.
- a pair of guides are installed in parallel in the transport units 201 and 202 according to the width dimension of the circuit board. Therefore, the circuit board moves straight in the X-axis direction so that both ends thereof are sandwiched in the Y-axis direction.
- a conveyor is provided as a configuration for moving such a circuit board. In the conveyor, belts are arranged corresponding to both ends of the circuit board in the Y-axis direction, and the circuit board is supported from below and rotated and fed in the X-axis direction.
- one transmission shaft is connected to one driving motor, and two pulleys are fixed to the transmission shaft. Belts are stretched around the two pulleys.
- the substrate transport apparatus 2 is provided with a clamp mechanism in each of the transport units 201 and 202 in order to position the transported circuit board at the work position.
- the component supply device 3 has a plurality of tape feeders 15 mounted on the front portion of the mounting machine main body 101.
- the electronic component mounting machine 1 has an opening formed in the front portion of the main body cover 102, and a device table 16 is installed in the opening as a support base to which a device such as the tape feeder 15 can be attached and detached.
- FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a simplified relationship between the tape feeder 15 and the device table 16.
- a plurality of guide grooves 31 are formed in the device table 16, and the tape feeder 15 is attached to each guide groove 31. Since the guide groove 31 is formed in the Y-axis direction indicated by the arrow, the operator can put the tape feeder 15 back and forth along the guide groove 31 from the front side of the body of the electronic component mounting machine 1.
- the tape feeder 15 is provided with a reel 21 around which a tape 22 is wound, and a feeding portion 23 for feeding the tape 22 unwound from the reel 21 horizontally in the Y-axis direction indicated by an arrow.
- the tape 22 has a plurality of electronic components accommodated in the longitudinal direction at a predetermined interval, and the feeding portion 23 of the tape feeder 15 unwinds the tape 22 by driving a built-in motor, and the electronic components are pitched by one pitch.
- a delivery mechanism for delivering each one is configured.
- Locating protrusions and communication connectors are formed at the leading end portion of the delivery part 23 in correspondence with the positioning holes 33 and the communication connectors 34 of the device table 16. Therefore, the positioning feeder 33 and the communication connector of the tape feeder 15 are fitted to the positioning hole 33 and the communication connector 34 of the device table 16, respectively, so that the tape feeder 15 mounted on the device table 16 is positioned and fixed. In addition, it is possible to receive power supply from the mounting machine main body side through the device table 16 and to exchange signals with a control device installed on the mounting machine main body side.
- the tape feeder 15 When the tape feeder 15 is mounted on the electronic component mounting machine 1, as shown in FIG. 1, the reel 21 is positioned outside the cover main body 102, and the feeding unit 23 is in the apparatus. The electronic component is fed in the Y-axis direction when the tape 22 is unwound and supplied to the component supply position 80 in the machine. Such a tape feeder 15 is mounted on the electronic component mounting machine 1 at the start of production, and the corresponding tape feeder 15 is replaced if the component is cut off even during production.
- the tape feeder 15 to be attached or detached may come into contact with the adjacent tape feeder 15.
- the tape feeder 15 to be attached or detached may come into contact with the adjacent tape feeder 15.
- the plurality of guide grooves 31 formed in the device table 16 are formed with a small interval so that a large number of tape feeders 15 can be mounted. Since the tape feeder 15 is inserted into such a gap, contact with the adjacent tape feeder 15 is likely to occur.
- the tape feeder 15 is a thin component supply means having a small width dimension. Therefore, even when the tape feeder 15 is attached and detached as shown in FIG. 2, even if the lower end portion enters the guide groove 31 and the front end portion is fitted in the positioning hole 33 as shown in FIG. It is weak to the force in the X-axis direction shown in FIG. Therefore, when the tape feeder 15 at the time of attachment / detachment comes into contact, the applied tape feeder 15 is inclined by the force received in the width direction. In the conventional structure so far, when the tape feeder 15 is inclined, the upper end portion of the feeding portion 23 to which the tape 22 moves is displaced in the width direction, and the electronic component at the component supply position 80 is displaced. It has occurred.
- Such misalignment at the component supply position 80 causes a holding position error of the electronic component held by the mounting head 41, causes non-conformity determination in the image data confirmation, and wastes the component. Further, even if the holding position error is allowed, there is a possibility that the mounting accuracy to the circuit board may be lowered. Since the electronic component is extremely small, the influence of the positional deviation caused by the slight inclination of the tape feeder 15 is large. Therefore, in the present embodiment, when an operator attaches or detaches the tape feeder 15, a configuration is adopted in which the standing posture is stabilized and contact with the adjacent tape feeder 15 is prevented.
- FIG. 3 is a perspective view specifically showing the device table of the present embodiment.
- This device table 16 is integrally formed with a posture assisting member 38 that stabilizes the standing posture of the tape feeder 15 at the time of attachment / detachment with respect to a table main body 37 for attaching / detaching the tape feeder 15.
- the table body 37 has an L-shaped side surface, and a plurality of guide grooves 31 are formed in the horizontal portion as described with reference to FIG. 2, and devices such as the tape feeder 15 can be taken in and out along the guide grooves 31. It is what I did.
- the guide groove 31 is formed along the Y-axis direction indicated by the arrow, and a plurality of guide grooves 31 are arranged in parallel at equal intervals.
- a positioning hole 33 and a communication connector 34 are formed in the standing portion of the table body 37 so as to correspond to each of the plurality of guide grooves 31.
- the posture assisting member 38 has a plurality of downward upper guide grooves 32 facing the upward guide grooves 31 (hereinafter referred to as “lower guide grooves 31”) formed in the table body 37. That is, when the tape feeder 15 is attached and detached, the lower end portion of the delivery portion 23 is fitted into the lower guide groove 31, and the upper end portion of the delivery portion 23 is fitted into the upper guide groove 32. Accordingly, the plurality of upper guide grooves 32 are paired with the lower guide grooves 31 facing each other, and are formed along the Y-axis direction in the same manner as the lower guide grooves 31, and are parallel to each other at equal intervals. Are lined up.
- the posture assisting member 38 is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the table main body 37 by support plates 381 at both ends.
- a plurality of screw holes 391 are formed on the side surface of the table body 37, and the support plate 381 is fixed by bolts 392 that are tightened in the screw holes 391.
- the upper guide groove 32 is shorter than the lower guide groove 31, and is disposed on the insertion portion side (front side of the electronic component mounting machine 1) as viewed in the insertion direction (Y-axis direction) of the tape feeder 15.
- the reason why it is arranged on the insertion portion side is that it is necessary to stabilize the standing posture of the tape feeder 15 fed into the device table 16 at an early stage.
- the reason why it is shorter than the lower guide groove 31 and arranged on the insertion portion side is that, as shown in FIG. 1, the mounting head 41 takes out the electronic component at the component supply position 80 in the machine. This is because it is necessary to prevent interference with the head 41.
- the insertion portions of the lower guide groove 31 and the upper guide groove 32 do not have to be aligned.
- the lower guide groove 31 capable of visually confirming the position protrudes forward so that the operator can easily attach the tape feeder 15. Therefore, a plurality of screw holes 391 are formed on the side surface of the table main body 37, and the attachment position of the posture assisting member 38 can be adjusted by selecting the screw holes 391.
- the upper guide groove 32 and the lower guide groove 31 are formed with a taper extending toward the insertion portion so that the tip of the tape feeder 15 can be easily inserted.
- FIG. 4 is a diagram conceptually showing the relationship between the tape feeder 15 and the lower guide groove 31 and the upper guide groove 32.
- the lower guide groove 31 and the upper guide groove 32 are grooves having left and right side surfaces, and limit movement in the width direction of the tape feeder 15 (particularly, the feeding portion 23) fitted therein. Therefore, in the attaching / detaching operation by the operator, the tape feeder 15 naturally moves along the Y-axis direction, and the tape feeder 15 during the movement maintains the standing posture as illustrated.
- the lower guide groove 31 and the upper guide groove 32 also support the tape feeder 15 after being attached to the device table 16 in the width direction. Such maintenance of the standing posture of the tape feeder 15 after mounting also leads to improvement in positioning accuracy of the electronic component at the component supply position 80. In view of this, it is desirable to add a configuration as shown in FIG.
- the lower guide groove 31 and the upper guide groove 32 are formed with a large groove width B so that an operator can smoothly attach and detach the tape feeder 15. Has occurred. For this reason, if the electronic component positioning accuracy at the component supply position 80 is to be further improved, it is desirable to eliminate this positional deviation. Therefore, a pair of positioning protrusions 231 as shown in the figure are formed on both sides in the width direction of the tape feeder 15 (particularly, the feeding portion 23). The paired positioning protrusions 231 are formed according to the height of the upper guide groove 32, and the dimensions of the tips are formed corresponding to the groove width B of the upper guide groove 32.
- the positioning protrusion 231 is pushed into the upper guide groove 32 at the final stage of insertion.
- the positioning protrusion 231 may be formed not only on the upper guide groove 32 but also on the lower guide groove 31 side. Moreover, it may be more than a pair.
- the component mounting apparatus 4 has a movable mounting head 41, and the mounting head 41 is provided with a suction nozzle capable of sucking and holding electronic components.
- the suction nozzle is connected to an air pressure adjusting device (not shown) so that a negative pressure or a positive pressure is generated in the suction nozzle. For this reason, the electronic component is attracted and held by the suction nozzle by setting the negative pressure, and the electronic component held by the suction can be positively detached from the suction nozzle by setting the positive pressure.
- the component mounting device 4 is provided with a moving mechanism for moving the electronic component sucked and held by the suction nozzle to an arbitrary position.
- the movement includes not only the movement on the XY plane specified by the X axis and the Y axis, but also the up / down movement in the Z-axis direction orthogonal thereto.
- the mounting head 41 is moved in the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction, and the suction nozzle is moved up and down by an elevating mechanism provided in the mounting head 41 in the Z-axis direction.
- the mounting head 41 incorporates a rotating mechanism in addition to the lifting mechanism, and the suction nose can be lifted and rotated with respect to the mounting head 41.
- two Y-axis rails 42 are fixed in parallel to the ceiling side of the main body cover 102 along the Y-axis direction.
- a Y-axis slider 45 is slidably attached.
- a screw shaft 43 connected to a Y-axis servo motor 44 is rotatably supported between the two Y-axis rails 42 via a bearing, and the screw shaft 43 passes through a nut 46 fixed to the Y-axis slider 45. It is screwed.
- the Y-axis rail 42 and the screw shaft 43 are provided with a long distance in the longitudinal direction of the electronic component mounting machine 1, thereby setting the movement distance of the Y-axis slider 45 in the Y-axis direction.
- the X-axis moving mechanism that moves the mounting head 41 in the X-axis direction is configured integrally with the Y-axis slider 45. That is, the X-axis rail 47 is formed on the lower surface side of the Y-axis slider 45, and the X-axis slider 48 is slidably attached to the X-axis rail 47.
- the mounting head 41 is mounted on the X-axis slider 48.
- a bolt screw mechanism is employed. That is, a screw shaft is connected to an X-axis servo motor mounted on the Y-axis slider 45, and the screw shaft is screwed into a nut fixed to the X-axis slider 48.
- the mounting head 41 moves on the XY plane by the Y-axis moving mechanism and the X-axis moving mechanism, and the suction nozzle mounted on the mounting head 41 is moved in the Z-axis direction by the lifting mechanism. To do.
- the mounting head 41 is attached with a mark camera (not shown) for imaging the circuit board conveyed to the work position.
- This mark camera images the circuit board from above, and the type and stop position of the circuit board can be confirmed from the image data.
- a parts camera 8 is provided between the substrate transfer device 2 and the component supply device 3. The parts camera 8 captures an electronic component held by the suction nozzle from below, and the image data can be used to confirm damage of the electronic component, a holding position error of the electronic component held by the suction nozzle, and the like. It has become.
- FIG. 6 is a block diagram showing an outline of the control device.
- the control device 5 includes a controller 51 mainly composed of a computer having a storage device such as a ROM, a RAM, and a non-volatile memory in addition to a CPU, and constitutes a substrate transport device 2, a component supply device 3, and a component mounting device 4.
- Each drive circuit 52 for driving drive means such as a servo motor is provided.
- the controller 51 is connected to the driving means of each device through such a driving circuit 52.
- the controller 51 various data processing is performed by the CPU, and a system program is stored in a ROM which is a storage device.
- the RAM temporarily stores calculation data and display data.
- the nonvolatile memory which is the same storage device, has a component mounting program and various parameters for creating an electronic circuit board to be produced. Is stored.
- the display device 6 is provided on the main body cover 101 at the front part of the electronic component mounting machine 1 and connected to the controller 41.
- the display device 6 includes a display unit having a liquid crystal display unit and a touch panel type or button type input unit, and displays work information, an operation screen, and the like, and allows a worker to input various information such as a program. It is.
- the circuit board placed in the electronic component mounting machine 1 is transported to the work position by the substrate transport device 2 and positioned. Then, the mounting head 41 is moved to a predetermined position by driving the Y-axis moving mechanism and the X-axis moving mechanism, and the suction nozzle is moved up and down by the lifting mechanism, whereby the electronic component is taken out from the component supply device 3 and the circuit board. Installation to is performed. At that time, the circuit board is imaged by a mark camera (not shown) attached to the mounting head 41, and the type and stop position of the circuit board are confirmed from the imaging data. At this time, if the stop position of the circuit board deviates from the planned position, a correction process for calculating the error is performed, and the electronic component is mounted at an appropriate position on the circuit board.
- the tape feeder 15 that accommodates a corresponding electronic component from among a plurality of components is driven and controlled to supply the electronic component.
- the mounting head 41 moves to the component supply position 80 of the corresponding tape feeder 15, where the electronic component is taken out from the tape 22 and held by suction with a negative pressure as the suction nozzle moves up and down. Then, when the mounting head 41 passes over the parts camera 8, the electronic component is imaged.
- the imaging data obtained here is compared with part information input in advance.
- part information input in advance In other words, if the electronic component is damaged, or if the suction posture is misaligned or a foreign object is attached to the electronic component, an error from the component information is generated, so that it is determined as a non-conforming component. Therefore, when it is determined as a compatible component based on the determination based on the imaging data, the electronic component is sent to the circuit board as it is and mounted. On the other hand, if it is determined as a non-conforming part, the electronic part is thrown into a disposal box (not shown). When a predetermined component is mounted, the circuit board is transferred to and from the substrate transfer device 2 of the adjacent electronic component mounting machine 1 by the substrate transfer device 2.
- a plurality of tape feeders 15 are mounted at the start of production, or the tape feeders 15 whose components have been cut are exchanged even during the production. This is done by the operator putting the tape feeder 15 in and out of the device table 16.
- the insertion of the tape feeder 15 is performed by fitting the tip of the delivery portion 23 not only into the lower guide groove 31 but also into the upper guide groove 32. Therefore, if the leading end portion of the feed-out portion 23 enters the lower guide groove 31 and the upper guide groove 32, the tape feeder 15 is inserted and attached while the standing posture of the tape feeder 15 is maintained without the operator being aware of it. The same applies when the tape feeder 15 is removed. Since the delivery portion 23 is supported by the lower guide groove 31 and the upper guide groove 32, the tape feeder 15 is pulled out while maintaining the standing posture without the operator being aware of it.
- the tape feeder 15 is applied to the adjacent tape feeder 15.
- the positional deviation of the electronic component at the component supply position 80 can be prevented.
- even a worker who has a habit of tilting the tape feeder 15 can always attach and detach the tape feeder 15 while keeping the standing posture.
- the number of electronic components to be disposed of can be greatly reduced.
- the standing posture after the tape feeder 15 is attached is stabilized, and the positioning accuracy of the electronic component at the component supply position 80 is improved. It will be.
- the tape feeder 15 has been unstable in the width direction at a position far from the lower guide groove 31 and the positioning hole 33 of the device table 16 until now, but the position is supported by the upper guide groove 32.
- the stability of the standing posture of the entire feeder 15 is high. And according to this embodiment, the above effects can be achieved by a simple configuration without cost.
- FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing a part of the device table.
- a plurality of guide grooves 61 similar to the table main body 37 of the device table 16 shown in FIG. 3 are formed.
- a guide frame 62 is integrally formed instead of the upper guide groove 32.
- the guide frame 62 is formed with a plurality of guide grooves 61. That is, the vertical walls 621 are erected on both sides of the insertion portion of the plurality of guide grooves 61 and are integrally formed by the top plate 622.
- the guide frame 62 constitutes a frame for each guide groove 61, and the tape feeder 15 is inserted through the frame.
- the frame shape is formed in accordance with the size of the delivery part 23.
- Such a guide frame 62 also maintains the standing posture of the tape feeder 15 attached to and detached from the device table. Therefore, when an operator must detach the tape feeder 15, contact with the adjacent tape feeder 15 can be avoided. Also for such a guide frame, it is preferable to form a positioning protrusion 231 on the tape feeder 15 as shown in FIG. This is because when the positioning protrusion 231 is pressed against the vertical wall 621 of the guide frame 62, the standing posture after the mounting is stabilized with a simple configuration, and the positioning accuracy at the component supply position 80 can be increased.
- a device table as shown in FIG. 8 may be used.
- This device table is also formed with a plurality of guide grooves 63 similar to the table main body 37 of the device table 16 shown in FIG.
- a guide gate 65 is integrally formed instead of the upper guide groove 32.
- the guide gate 65 is a wall member having a predetermined height arranged on both sides of the guide groove 63.
- the height of the guide gate 65 only needs to be a dimension that supports the tape feeder 15 so that the tape feeder 15 does not tilt and contact the adjacent tape feeder 15 when the tape feeder 15 is inserted into and removed from the guide groove 63.
- the guide gate 65 has a certain length in the direction along the guide groove 63 as in the case of the guide frame 62 shown in FIG. 7, but it is only necessary to prevent the tape feeder 15 from tilting. The length of the direction may be shorter.
- Such a guide gate 65 also maintains the standing posture of the tape feeder 15 attached to and detached from the device table. Therefore, when an operator has to attach and detach the tape feeder 15, contact with the adjacent tape feeder 15 can be avoided. Further, it is preferable to form a positioning protrusion 231 on the tape feeder 15 for such a guide gate 65 as shown in FIG. This is because when the positioning protrusion 231 is pressed against the guide gate 65, the standing posture after the mounting is stabilized with a simple configuration, and the positioning accuracy at the component supply position 80 can be increased.
- the component mounting machine may be other than the electronic component mounting machine 1 mentioned in the above embodiment, and the main configuration of the present invention may be formed other than the device table.
- the posture auxiliary member 38 is integrated with the table main body 37, but the posture auxiliary member 38 is separated from the table main body 37 and mounted with electronic components. It may be fixed to the main body cover 102 side of the machine 1.
- the positioning protrusion 231 is shown as a positioning member for positioning the tape feeder 15.
- the positioning member a pin or a chuck for restraining the tape feeder 15 on the posture assisting member 38 side is used. You may make it provide.
