Abstract
Description
一方、特許文献2に開示された伸縮弾性部材の製造方法においては、過剰に多くの接着剤が必要になりコスト面において不利となり、また、過剰な接着剤の塗布により伸縮弾性部材の柔軟性が低下する恐れがある。さらに、同製造方法によって得られた伸縮弾性部材を使い捨ておむつの外装シートとして用いた場合には、通気性を著しく低下させる恐れがある。
そこで、本発明の主たる課題は、見栄えに優れ、製造コストを低減した伸縮弾性部材の製造方法を提供することにある。
前記一側のシートの内面に、所定の間隔を隔てて第1接着剤を塗布し、前記細長状弾性伸縮部材に、所定の間隔を隔てて第2接着剤を塗布し、前記第1接着剤を塗布した第1塗布領域と、前記第1塗布領域と隣接する第1塗布領域との間に第1非塗布領域を形成し、前記多数の第1塗布領域を跨る第2接着剤を塗布した第2塗布領域と、前記第2塗布領域と隣接する第2塗布領域との間に第2非塗布領域を形成し、前記一側のシートの内面に、細長状弾性伸縮部材と、該細長状弾性伸縮部材の外側から他側のシートを固設し、平面視で前記第1非塗布領域と第2塗布領域が対向する部位において、前記細長状弾性伸縮部材を切断することを特徴とする伸縮弾性部材の製造方法である。
先ず、本発明の伸縮性部材の製造方法について添付図面を参照して詳説する。
図1は、伸縮性部材120の製造方法を示す模式図である。伸縮弾性部材120は、後述するパンツタイプ使い捨ておむつ100の外装体12として使用される部材であり、不織布等からなる第1シート(請求項における「シート」)12Sと、不織布等からなる第2シート(請求項における「シート」)12Hと、第1シート12Sと第2シート12Hの間に配置される細長状弾性伸縮部材110を備えて構成されている。
ただし、このようなパターンコートによる塗布方式を採用した場合であっても、ホットメルト接着剤71の種類によってはホットメルト接着剤71が糸引きしてしまい、塗布幅70wの精度の低下や、操業安定性の低下をもたらすおそれがある。よって、ホットメルト接着剤71としては、温度140℃における溶融粘度が10000mpas以下、温度160度における溶融粘度が5000mpas以下、かつループタック接着力が2000g/25mm以上のものを用いることが望ましい。これにより糸引きのおそれが少なくなり、塗布幅制度および操業安定性の向上を図ることができる。
なお、ホットメルト接着剤71のループタック粘着力は、次のように測定される値を意味する。すなわち、ホットメルト接着剤を厚さが50μmのPET板上に50μmの厚みで塗布する。これを、幅25mm、長さ125mmの大きさに切り取り、テープ状とした後、そのテープの両端を重ね合わせることでループ状とする。このループを、LT-100型ループタックテスター(ケムインストルメント社製)に固定した後、PE(ポリエチレン)板に対して、25mm×25mmの接着面積で、接着時間2秒で接着する。次いで、20℃で、引き剥がし速度300mm/分でループ上のテープを引き剥がし、最大の力を測定し、ループタック接着剤とする。
また、ホットメルト接着材71の溶融粘度は、JIS Z 8803に従い、ブルックフィールドB型粘度計(スピンドルNo.027)を用いて、規定の温度で測定されるものである。
後述する細長状弾性伸縮部材110の塗布領域(請求項における「第2塗布領域」)75Aにおいて、細長状弾性伸縮部材110を隣接する塗布領域71A,71Aの間の非塗布領域71Bで切断して伸縮性部材120の外観性を高めるためには、図2に示す非塗布領域71Bの間隔(請求項における「第1間隔」)70dと、塗布領域71Aの塗布幅70Wと、細長状弾性伸縮部材110の切断間隔70Pを数1または数2に示す関係に設定するのが好適である。なお、切断間隔70Pは、図3,4に示す切断手段130の切断ロール18の隣接する切断刃18A,18Aの切断刃間隔18Bに対応する間隔である。

なお、数1の塗布幅70Wは0.5mm~4mm、切断手段130によって切断された細長状弾性伸縮部材110の切断部の収縮による細長状弾性伸縮部材110と第1シート12Sの塗布領域71Aの剥離を防止するために間隔70dを4~8mmで、より好ましくは5~7mmに設定するのが好適である。また、切断ロール18の隣接する切断刃18A,18Aの切断刃間隔18Bは、均一であっても不均一であっても良い。
切断手段130によって切断された細長状弾性伸縮部材110の切断部の収縮時に発生する細長状弾性伸縮部材110の伸長方向の収縮力による細長状弾性伸縮部材110と第1シート12Sの塗布領域71Aの剥離を防止するために、細長状弾性伸縮部材110には第2接着剤が塗布されている。
また、特に、切断手段130によって切断された細長状弾性伸縮部材110の切断部を効率良く切断部に隣接する塗布領域71A,71Aに移動させるためには、第1シート12Sと対向する細長状弾性伸縮部材110の外周面の部位に第2接着剤を塗布し、第2シート12Hと対向する細長状弾性伸縮部材110の外周面の部位には第2接着剤を塗布しない部分塗布形態がより好適である。
また、細長状弾性伸縮部材110と第2シート12Hの固着力は、第2シート12Hの下面には接着剤が塗布されていないことから、第1シート12Sの塗布領域71Aと細長状弾性伸縮部材110の塗布領域75Aが重なる部位の固着力よりも弱い。
さらに、第1シート12Sと第2シート12Hは、第1シート12Sと細長状弾性伸縮部材110と同様に、第1シート12Sの塗布領域71Aと細長状弾性伸縮部材110の塗布領域75Aが重なる部位の固着力は強く、その他の部位の固着力は、第1シート12Sの塗布領域71Aと細長状弾性伸縮部材110の塗布領域75Aが重なる部位の固着力よりも弱い。
また、細長状弾性伸縮部材110と第2シート12Hは、第2シート12Hの下面には接着剤が塗布されていないことから、固着されていない。
さらに、第1シート12Sと第2シート12Hは、第1シート12Sと細長状弾性伸縮部材110と同様に、第1シート12Sの塗布領域71Aと細長状弾性伸縮部材110が重なる部位の固着力は弱く、その他の部位においては、固着されていない。
なお、第3接着剤としては、第1接着剤71と同様に温度140℃における溶融粘度が10000mpas以下、温度160度における溶融粘度が5000mpas以下、かつループタック接着力が2000g/25mm以上のものを用いることが望ましい。塗布形態としては、パターンコートが望ましい。
次に、本発明の伸縮性部材の製造方法で製造された伸縮性部材120を外装シート12に使用したパンツタイプ使い捨ておむつ100について添付図面を参照して詳説する。
図5~図11は、パンツタイプ使い捨ておむつの一例100を示している。このパンツタイプ使い捨ておむつ100は、製品外面(裏面)をなす外装体12と、外装体12の内面に貼り付けられた内装体200とから構成されているものである。符号Yはおむつの全長を示しており、符号Xはおむつの全幅を示している。
内装体200は任意の形状を採ることができるが、図示の形態では長方形である。内装体200は、図7~図9に示されるように、身体側となる表面シート30と、液不透過性シート11と、これらの間に介在された吸収要素50とを備えているものであり、吸収機能を担う本体部である。符号40は、表面シート30を透過した液を速やかに吸収要素50へ移行させるために、表面シート30と吸収要素50との間に設けられた中間シート(セカンドシート)を示しており、符号60は、内装体200の両脇に排泄物が漏れるのを防止するために、内装体200の両側に設けられた、身体側に起立する立体ギャザー60を示している。
表面シート30は、液を透過する性質を有するものであり、例えば、有孔又は無孔の不織布や、多孔性プラスチックシートなどを例示することができる。また、このうち不織布は、その原料繊維が何であるかは、特に限定されない。例えば、ポリエチレンやポリプロピレン等のオレフィン系、ポリエステル系、ポリアミド系等の合成繊維、レーヨンやキュプラ等の再生繊維、綿等の天然繊維などや、これらから二種以上が使用された混合繊維、複合繊維などを例示することができる。さらに、不織布は、どのような加工によって製造されたものであってもよい。加工方法としては、公知の方法、例えば、スパンレース法、スパンボンド法、サーマルボンド法、メルトブローン法、ニードルパンチ法、エアスルー法、ポイントボンド法等を例示することができる。例えば、柔軟性、ドレープ性を求めるのであれば、スパンボンド法、スパンレース法が、嵩高性、ソフト性を求めるのであれば、エアスルー法、ポイントボンド法、サーマルボンド法が、好ましい加工方法となる。
表面シート30を透過した液を速やかに吸収体へ移行させるために、表面シート30より液の透過速度が速い、中間シート(「セカンドシート」とも呼ばれている)40を設けることができる。この中間シート40は、液を速やかに吸収体へ移行させて吸収体による吸収性能を高めるばかりでなく、吸収した液の吸収体からの「逆戻り」現象を防止し、表面シート30上を常に乾燥した状態とすることができる。中間シート40は省略することもできる。
液不透過性シート11の素材は、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、ポリエチレンやポリプロピレン等のオレフィン系樹脂等からなるプラスチックフィルムや、不織布の表面にプラスチックフィルムを設けたラミネート不織布、プラスチックフィルムに不織布等を重ねて接合した積層シートなどを例示することができる。液不透過性シート11には、近年、ムレ防止の観点から好まれて使用されている不透液性かつ透湿性を有する素材を用いることが好ましい。透湿性を有するプラスチックフィルムとしては、ポリエチレンやポリプロピレン等のオレフィン系樹脂中に無機充填剤を混練して、シートを成形した後、一軸又は二軸方向に延伸して得られた微多孔性プラスチックフィルムが広く用いられている。このほかにも、マイクロデニール繊維を用いた不織布、熱や圧力をかけることで繊維の空隙を小さくすることによる防漏性強化、高吸水性樹脂または疎水性樹脂や撥水剤の塗工といった方法により、プラスチックフィルムを用いずに液不透過性としたシートも、液不透過性シート11として用いることができる。
ホットメルト接着剤は、カーテンやベタ等の塗布方式や、転写方式により種々のパターン形状にすることができるが、外装シート12の内面に内装体200を固着し、且つ、内装体200の通気性を向上させるためには、図6に示すように、液不透過性シート11の下面に幅方向に所定の間隔を隔てて細幅形状にホットメルト接着剤を連続的に塗布するのが望ましい。また、内装体200の前後方向の端部から外部への通気性を向上させるために、ホットメルト接着剤が塗布された塗布領域(請求項における「第3塗布領域」)11Aの幅11Bを、第1シート12Sの非塗布領域71Bの間隔70dよりも小さくするのが好適であり、塗布領域11Aの前後方向の両端部は、それぞれシート接合部70に対向して配置するのがさらに好適である。
ホットメルト接着剤としては、例えばEVA系、粘着ゴム系(エラストマー系)、オレフィン系、ポリエステル・ポリアミド系などの種類のものが存在し、特に限定なく使用できるが、粘着ゴム系(エラストマー系)を使用するのが望ましい。ホットメルト接着剤の塗布方式は特に限定されるものではないが、塗布領域11Aの幅11Bを細く、例えば1mm以下とする場合、ホットメルト接着剤の塗布幅が狭くなり、カーテンやベタ等のようにノズルから噴射する塗布方式による間欠塗布では塗布が困難なため、細幅塗布に好適なパターンコートを採用することが望ましい。
なお、図12に示すように、塗布領域11Aの前後方向の中間部には、ホットメルト接着剤が塗布されていない非塗布領域11Cを設けることによりさらに通気性を向上させることができる。
立体ギャザー60は、内装体200の両側部に沿って前後方向全体にわたり延在する帯状部材であり、表面シート30上を伝わって横方向に移動する尿や軟便を遮断し、横漏れを防止するために設けられているものである。本実施の形態の立体ギャザー60は、内装体200の側部から起立するように設けられ、付け根側の部分は幅方向中央側に向かって斜めに起立し、中間部より先端側の部分は幅方向外側に向かって斜めに起立するものである。
吸収要素50は、吸収体56と、この吸収体56の全体を包む包装シート58とを有する。包装シート58は省略することもできる。
吸収体56は、繊維の集合体により形成することができる。この繊維集合体としては、綿状パルプや合成繊維等の短繊維を積繊したものの他、セルロースアセテート等の合成繊維のトウ(繊維束)を必要に応じて開繊して得られるフィラメント集合体も使用できる。繊維目付けとしては、綿状パルプや短繊維を積繊する場合は、例えば100~300g/m2程度とすることができ、フィラメント集合体の場合は、例えば30~120g/m2程度とすることができる。合成繊維の場合の繊度は、例えば、1~16dtex、好ましくは1~10dtex、さらに好ましくは1~5dtexである。フィラメント集合体の場合、フィラメントは、非捲縮繊維であってもよいが、捲縮繊維であるのが好ましい。捲縮繊維の捲縮度は、例えば、1インチ当たり5~75個、好ましくは10~50個、さらに好ましくは15~50個程度とすることができる。また、均一に捲縮した捲縮繊維を用いる場合が多い。吸収体56中には高吸収性ポリマー粒子を分散保持させるのが好ましい。
吸収体56には、その一部又は全部に高吸収性ポリマー粒子を含有させることができる。高吸収性ポリマー粒子とは、「粒子」以外に「粉体」も含む。高吸収性ポリマー粒子の粒径は、この種の吸収性物品に使用されるものをそのまま使用でき、1000μm以下、特に150~400μmのものが望ましい。高吸収性ポリマー粒子の材料としては、特に限定無く用いることができるが、吸水量が40g/g以上のものが好適である。高吸収性ポリマー粒子としては、でんぷん系、セルロース系や合成ポリマー系などのものがあり、でんぷん-アクリル酸(塩)グラフト共重合体、でんぷん-アクリロニトリル共重合体のケン化物、ナトリウムカルボキシメチルセルロースの架橋物やアクリル酸(塩)重合体などのものを用いることができる。高吸収性ポリマー粒子の形状としては、通常用いられる粉粒体状のものが好適であるが、他の形状のものも用いることができる。
包装シート58を用いる場合、その素材としては、ティッシュペーパ、特にクレープ紙、不織布、ポリラミ不織布、小孔が開いたシート等を用いることができる。ただし、高吸収性ポリマー粒子が抜け出ないシートであるのが望ましい。クレープ紙に換えて不織布を使用する場合、親水性のSMS不織布(SMS、SSMMS等)が特に好適であり、その材質はポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン/ポリプロピレン複合材などを使用できる。目付けは、5~40g/m2、特に10~30g/m2のものが望ましい。
外装体12は、股間部から腹側に延在する前身頃Fを構成する部分と、股間部から背側に延在する後身頃Bを構成する部分とを有し、これら前身頃Fの両側部と後身頃Bの両側部とが接合されて、図11に示すように、装着者の胴を通すためのウエスト開口部WO及び脚を通すための左右一対の脚開口部LOが形成されているものである。符号12Aは接合部分を示している(以下、この部分をサイドシール部ともいう)。なお、股間部とは、展開状態における前身頃Fのウエスト縁から後身頃Bのウエスト縁までの前後方向中央を意味し、それよりも前側の部分及び後側の部分が前身頃F及び後身頃Bをそれぞれ意味する。

Claims (9)
- 2層のシートの間に複数の細長状弾性伸縮部材を伸長状態で固設した後に、前記細長状弾性伸縮部材を切断して伸縮領域と非伸縮領域を備えた伸縮弾性部材の製造方法において、
前記一側のシートの内面に、所定の間隔を隔てて第1接着剤を塗布し、前記細長状弾性伸縮部材に、所定の間隔を隔てて第2接着剤を塗布し、
前記第1接着剤を塗布した第1塗布領域と、前記第1塗布領域と隣接する第1塗布領域との間に第1非塗布領域を形成し、
前記多数の第1塗布領域を跨る第2接着剤を塗布した第2塗布領域と、前記第2塗布領域と隣接する第2塗布領域との間に第2非塗布領域を形成し、
前記一側のシートの内面に、細長状弾性伸縮部材と、該細長状弾性伸縮部材の外側から他側のシートを固設し、
平面視で前記第1非塗布領域と第2塗布領域が対向する部位において、前記細長状弾性伸縮部材を切断することを特徴とする伸縮弾性部材の製造方法。 - 前記細長状弾性伸縮部材を切断刃を備える切断手段によって切断する請求項1記載の伸縮弾性部材の製造方法。
- 前記第1塗布領域の塗布幅を0.5mm~4mmに設定し、前記第1間隔を4~8mmに設定した請求項2記載の伸縮弾性部材の製造方法。
- 前記切断手段を、切断ロールと平滑ロールで構成し、
前記切断ロールの外周面の周面方向に、所定の間隔を隔てて切断刃を立設し、
前記切断ロールを一側のシートの外方に、前記平滑ロールを他側のシートの外方に配置した請求項2又は3記載の伸縮弾性部材の製造方法。 - 前記細長状弾性伸縮部材の他側のシートに対向する部位には、前記第2接着剤が塗布されていない請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の伸縮弾性部材の製造方法。
- 前記第1非塗布領域の第1間隔を、前記切断刃と隣接する切断刃の切断刃間隔よりも大きく設定する請求項4又は5記載の伸縮弾性部材の製造方法。
- 請求項1~6記載のいずれか1項に記載の伸縮弾性部材の製造方法によって製造された伸縮弾性部材を外装シートとして用い、
前記外装シートの内面に吸収体を有する内装体を配置した使い捨ておむつ。 - 前記内装体の外装シートとの固着面に、前記第1接着剤と平行する接着剤を左右方向に所定の間隔を隔てて塗布した第3塗布領域を形成し、平面視において前記第3塗布領域と前記第1塗布領域とを重ねた請求項7記載の使い捨ておむつ。
- 前記第3塗布領域の前後方向中間部位に、接着剤を塗布しない非塗布領域を形成した請求項8記載の使い捨ておむつ。
