また、オペレータは機内進入エリアE1にいるとき、パレットチェンジスライダ22やパレット旋回アーム23を遮断するカバーが存在しないため、オペレータの手や足が接触して怪我をする可能性があるという問題点があった。
本発明の目的は、上述した不具合を解消する工作機械のアクセスドア装置を提供するものである。
このとき、前記ブラケットと前記第2の機内カバーとは、カム機構によって接続されている。
また、前記本機は、所定の旋回軸を中心に回動する回動機構を有し、前記回動機構には操作盤が設けられている。
また、機内進入用ドアを閉めながら機外に移動すると、機内進入エリア及び作業エリアを掃引するため、機内進入エリア及び作業エリアが徐々に小さくなるので、オペレータは機外に戻る以外に行き場がなくなり、結果として機外に出されることとなる。
さらに、オペレータが機内進入エリアにいるとき、パレットチェンジスライダやパレット旋回アームと接触することがないので、安全を確保することができる。
図2の矢印AEはオペレータの進入経路を示す。
第1の機内カバー120の先端には、リンク機構であるヒンジ142を介して取り付けられる第2の機内カバー140が設けられ、該第2の機内カバー140はリニアガイド150と前後動作制御機構155とにより案内される。
第1の機内カバー120の作動は、リンク部材130により規制される。
機内進入用ドア110を開くと、リンク部材130はヒンジ132を中心に第1の機内カバー120を回転させながら所定の軌跡で案内する。
よって、リンク部材130は第1の機内カバー規制手段の役割を果たす。
また、前記機内進入エリアE1と前記作業エリアE2とは、オペレータが開閉するオペレータドア50によって仕切られている。
オペレータPは、位置Gにおいて機内進入用ドア110を開いた後に、機内進入エリアE1に入り、オペレータドア50を開いて作業エリアE2に移動して、テーブル12や主軸にアクセスして作業を行う。
その際に、オペレータPは、操作盤40を旋回動させて機内進入エリアE1に移動させることにより、機内進入エリアE1もしくは作業エリアE2で機械を操作することができる。
上述のとおり、オペレータドア50は、パレットチェンジユニット20の機内進入エリアE1と作業エリアE2とを仕切るものであり、本機の正面にスライドドアとして装備されている。
工作機械1の本機10がワークに加工を行っているときには、前記スライドドア50は閉じられており、これによって加工中の副次物等がパレット旋回アーム23側に飛散するのを防止する。
第2の機内カバー140は、リニアガイド150と前後動作制御機構155に案内される。機内進入用ドア110が完全に開くと、第2の機内カバー140は位置S1に移動し、作業エリアE2が確保される。
リニアガイドレール150aに嵌合して移動するリニアガイドブロック部150bにはアーム156が取り付けられ、アーム156にブラケット157が固定される。
ブラケット157には複数のカムフォロア158をリニアガイドブロック部の走行方向と直角に直線状に配置し、カムフォロア158は第2の機内カバー140の下面140dに長手方向に設けられた長穴144に係合される。
このようなカム機構の構成により、機内進入用ドア110を開いて、リンク部材130によりヒンジ132を中心に第1の機内カバー120を回転させながら所定の軌跡で移動しても、第2の機内カバー140は位置S1と位置S2との間でリニアガイドレール部150aに対して同じ角度を保ちながら移動することができる。
オペレータドア50を閉じたとき、オペレータドア50の前面50aより下方には、フロントカバー55とステップ70とに囲まれた空間Qが生じる。
同様に、第2の機内カバー140の傾斜面140bは、例えば150mm程度の隙間を設けてオペレータドア50の傾斜面50bの近傍を移動できるように設計される。
また、第2の機内カバー140の上面140c及び第1の機内カバー120の切り欠き部上面120aは、例えば150mm程度の隙間を設けてオペレータドア50の突き出し下面50cの近傍を移動できるように設計される。
さらに、第1の機内カバー120の切り欠き部側面120bは、例えば150mm程度の隙間を設けてオペレータドア50の前面50aの近傍を移動できるように設計される。
なお、これらの隙間の大きさについても、オペレータが空間Qに取り残されない程度で良く、上記した150mmに限定するものではない。
なお、第1の機内カバー120の上面120cは、オペレータが機内進入エリアE1にいるときに、パレット旋回アーム23に手や足を含む身体が接触しない高さとなることが好ましい。
例えば、パレット旋回アーム23の上面からステップ70までの高さが800mm程度のときには、第1の機内カバー120の上面120cからステップ70までの高さは1600mm程度である。
なお、第1の機内カバー120の上面120cの高さは、機内進入用ドア110の上面110aの高さと同一であっても良く、さらに上記した1600mmに限定するものではない。
また、第2の機内カバー140が位置S1から位置S2に移動することにより、作業エリアE2が徐々に小さくなるため、オペレータは機内進入エリアE1を経由して位置Gに出る必要があり、結果としてオペレータが機内進入エリアE1及び作業エリアE2内に取り残されることが防止できる。
また、オペレータが作業エリアE2にいる間に他の作業者が機内進入用ドア110を誤って閉めようとしても、第2の機内カバー140がオペレータと干渉するように設計されているため、機内進入用ドア110を閉じることができず、結果としてオペレータの安全が確保できる。
この形態にあっても、機内進入用ドア110、第1の機内カバー120、リンク部材130、第2の機内カバー140を備える構成は前述した装置と同様である。
このカムフォロアは1個で案内可能であるが、複数個のカムフォロアを設けることにより、第2の機内カバー140の動作がより滑らかになる。
オペレータが作業エリアE2に入る際には、パレットチェンジスライダ22が段取り位置Fに停止した状態でパレット旋回アーム23を復帰位置から図示の回避位置に旋回させた後に、スイッチ盤60に設けられている機内進入用ドア開スイッチ163を押す。
その結果、パレットチェンジユニット20の電源が遮断されるとともに機内進入用ドア110と本機のカバー15との間に設けられた図示しないドアロックスイッチがアンロックとなる。
上記スペースが確保された後に、オペレータは本工作機械1の機内進入エリアE1に入り、オペレータドア50を開いて作業エリアE2に移動する。
このとき、第1の機内カバー120と第2の機内カバー140とが機内進入エリアE1及び作業エリアE2を掃引する。
その結果オペレータは位置Gに戻るしか行き場がなくなり、結果として本工作機械1の外に出ることとなる。
また、操作盤40のみ機内進入エリアE1の内部に移動した場合も、機内進入用ドア110を閉じることができない。
機内進入用ドア110を閉じると、図示しないドアロックスイッチによりロックされる。
この場合は、オペレータが機内進入エリアE1にて作業するため、第2の機内カバー140は不要となる。それに伴い、リニアガイド150や前後動作制御機構も不要となる。

Claims (8)
- ワークに加工を行う本機と、前記本機に隣接するパレットチェンジユニットを備えた工作機械であって、
前記パレットチェンジユニットに設けられた本体カバーと、
前記本体カバーに設けられた機内進入用ドアと、
前記機内進入用ドアに連接された機内カバーと、
前記機内進入用ドア及び前記機内カバーで区画される機内進入エリアとを有し、
前記機内進入用ドア及び前記機内カバーが前記機内進入エリアを掃引するように構成されている
ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 前記パレットチェンジユニットは規制手段を有し、前記規制手段は、一端が前記本体カバーと取り付けられ、他端が前記機内カバーと取り付けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工作機械。 - 前記機内カバーは第1の機内カバーと、前記第1の機内カバーに連接された第2の機内カバーとから成り、
前記パレットチェンジユニットは、前記機内進入エリアに連通する作業エリアを有し、
前記第2の機内カバーが、前記作業エリアを掃引するように配置されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の工作機械。 - 前記パレットチェンジユニットは、前記作業エリア内にリニアガイドを備え、前記リニアガイドは、ブラケットを介して前記第2の機内カバーに接続されており、
前記第2の機内カバーは、前記リニアガイドに案内される軌跡で前記作業エリアを掃引する
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の工作機械。 - 前記ブラケットと前記第2の機内カバーとは、カム機構によって接続されている
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の工作機械。 - 前記パレットチェンジユニットは、前記作業エリアの床面にカム溝を有し、
前記第2の機内カバーは、前記作業エリアの床面に対向する面にカムフォロアを有し、
前記第2の機内カバーは、前記カム溝と前記カムフォロアとからなるカム機構により案内される軌跡で前記作業エリアを掃引する
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の工作機械。 - 前記第1の機内カバーの高さは、前記パレットチェンジユニットのパレット旋回アームが配置される高さより高くなるように形成される
ことを特徴とする請求項3~6のいずれかに記載の工作機械。 - 前記本機は、所定の旋回軸を中心に回動する回動機構を有し、前記回動機構には操作盤が設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の工作機械。
