- the first split core 31 is pushed radially inward because the inclined surface 32a of the molding portion 32 is in contact with the undercut portion 86 of the material 80.
- the slope 42a of the molding part 42 is in contact with the undercut part 86 of the material 80, the second split core 41 is pushed radially inward.
- the stopper 23 of the guide core 21 is separated from the stepped portion 14 of the central core 11 by a distance H above the central axis (see FIG. 1C). Therefore, when the central core 11 rises along the central axis, the second split core 41 is separated from the central core 11 along the central axis. Therefore, interference between the first divided core 31 and the second divided core 41 can be avoided when a force directed radially inward is applied to the first divided core 31 and the second divided core 41. Therefore, each of the first divided core 31 and the second divided core 41 can be moved radially inward, and the upper molding die 10 can be extracted from the material 80.
- the material 80 can be taken out from the lower molding die 60 by raising the pushing die 70.
- the diameter increasing operation and the diameter decreasing operation of the first divided core 31 are performed by the mounting hole 38 of the first divided core 31 and the guide pin 19 of the central core 11. - the radius of the first split core 31 and the second split core 41 in the expanded diameter state is R L
- the radius of the first split core 31 and the second split core 41 in the reduced diameter state is R S
- the first split core 31 and the second split core 31 The radial movable distance of the split core 41 is ⁇ R
- the total number of cores (number of core splits) of the first split core 31 and the second split core 41 is N
- the angle is defined as 2 ⁇ c [rad]
- the radius of the central core 11 is defined as r.
- an angle formed between the bottom surface 36 of the first divided core 31 and the inclined surface 37 is defined as ⁇ 1 [rad]
- an angle formed between the bottom surface 46 of the second divided core 41 and the inclined surface 47 is defined as ⁇ 2 [rad] (see FIG. 3). )
- ⁇ 1 ⁇ 2 .
- ⁇ H is expressed by the following equation (3).
- FIG. 7 is a schematic front view showing the first divided core 31 and the second divided core 41.
- 7 shows the AA sectional view of FIG. 4, and the left drawing of FIG. 7 shows the BB sectional view of FIG.
- the angle formed by the slope 32a of the molding part 32 of the first split core 31 and the bottom surface 36 of the first split core 31, and the slope 42a of the molding part 42 of the second split core 41 and the bottom face 46 of the second split core 41. are defined as ⁇ 3 [rad], the distance H in the direction of the central axis between the first divided core 31 and the second divided core 41 is expressed by the following equation (5).
- each parameter for forming the undercut portion 86 into the material 80 can be determined.
- the case where the number N of core divisions is 6 is shown, but the number N may be an even number of 4 or more.
- the core division number N is preferably 6 because the number of parts is small.
- the angle ⁇ 1 of the first divided core 31 is preferably 2 ⁇ / 3 ⁇ ⁇ 1 ⁇ 5 ⁇ / 6, and the first division
- the angle ⁇ 3 between the core 31 and the second divided core 41 is preferably ⁇ / 6 ⁇ ⁇ 3 ⁇ ⁇ / 3.

Therefore, when performing maintenance due to wear, the replacement frequency of the first split core 31 and the second split core 41 can be suppressed by increasing the replacement frequency of the guide pins 19 and 22. Therefore, an increase in mold cost due to wear can be suppressed.
- the first divided core 31 and the second divided core 41 are arranged so as to overlap each other in the reduced diameter state, and the central core 11 is located with respect to the inclined surface 47 of the second divided core 41. Since the inclined surface 37 of the first divided core 31 is pressed, the first divided core 31 and the second divided core 41 move radially outward while being in sliding contact with each other. In addition, since the molding part 32 of the first split core 31 has a slope 32a and the molding part 42 of the second split core 41 has a slope 42a, the upper molding die 10 is moved from the material 80 in the direction of the central axis. When pulled out along, the first split core 31 and the second split core 41 move radially inward. Therefore, the mold slide mechanism for forming the undercut can be simplified, and the undercut portion 86 can be formed on the material 80 at low cost.
- a thick molded product having an undercut portion is formed from a thick material by cutting.
- the undercut portion 86 can be formed on the material 80 and the material 80 can be increased in thickness. Description
