Using the first detection signal in the first band, the detection unit 111 detects another terminal that can perform direct wireless communication with the own terminal in the first band. For example, the terminal 110 receives the first detection signal in the first band transmitted from the peripheral terminals, and detects other terminals that can directly communicate with the own terminal among the peripheral terminals. Can do. This detection is, for example, a passive scan. In the example illustrated in FIG. 1A, it is assumed that the detection unit 111 detects the terminal 120 as another terminal that can directly wirelessly communicate with the terminal itself.
- the detecting unit 111 determines whether or not the own terminal can directly communicate with the terminal 120 in the second band by transmitting a second detection signal of the second band destined for the detected terminal 120. For example, the detection unit 111 transmits a second detection signal in the second band whose destination is the detected terminal 120. Then, the detection unit 111 receives the response signal from the terminal 120 with respect to the transmitted second detection signal, thereby determining whether or not the own terminal can directly perform wireless communication with the terminal 120 in the second band. it can. For example, when the detection unit 111 determines that the terminal itself can directly communicate with the terminal 120 in the second band, the communication unit 112 performs direct wireless communication with the terminal 120 in the second band.
- the communication unit 112 performs direct wireless communication with the terminal 120 in the first band. Further, when the detection unit 111 determines that the own terminal can directly communicate with the terminal 120 in the second band, the communication unit 112 directly wirelessly communicates with the terminal 120 in both the first band and the second band. Then, the detection result of the terminal 120 using the first detection signal is received from the terminal 110, and a signal instructing the terminal 110 to transmit the second detection signal is transmitted based on the reception result. Thereby, transmission of the first detection signal and the second detection signal can be controlled in the base station 130.
- the base station 130 allocates to the terminal 110 radio resources in the second band for the terminal 110 to transmit the second detection signal.
- the terminal 110 transmits the second detection signal using the radio resource allocated by the base station 130. Thereby, the collision between the second detection signal and the transmission of another terminal connected to the base station 130 can be suppressed.

- This process is, for example, a passive scan.
- the terminals 110 and 120 when there are terminals that have detected each other, the terminals also directly transmit each other in the second band by transmitting the second detection signals in the second band. It is determined whether or not wireless communication is possible (passive scan).
- detection in the second band is performed by transmitting the second detection signals in the second band to each other only for each detected terminal. May be performed.

- the terminal 110 transmits the second detection signal using the radio resource allocated by the base station 130. Thereby, the collision between the second detection signal and the transmission of another terminal connected to the base station 130 can be suppressed.
- the base station 130 transmits a reservation signal for reserving radio resources in the second band for transmitting the second detection signal in the second band.

Interference can be suppressed.
- the passive scan in which the UE is limited by the SCC is performed.
- the eNB 211 determines a UE subset to be mutually scanned by the SCC based on a discovery result in the PCC, and allocates a radio resource for discovery to the UE subset.
- each UE included in the UE subset can perform a passive scan in the SCC using the radio resources for discovery assigned by the eNB 211.
- the SCC is an unlicensed band serving as a shared channel with another communication system, it is possible to efficiently communicate while suppressing the influence on the other communication system.
- FIGS. 12A and 12B are diagrams illustrating examples of discovery messages.
- LTE-Advanced a mechanism for realizing direct wireless communication between terminals is being studied. For example, a method has been studied in which each terminal transmits a discovery signal and a nearby terminal detects this, thereby acquiring information related to a directly communicable device and a service provided by the device.
- each terminal transmits a discovery message 1210 shown in FIG. 12A and a discovery message 1220 shown in FIG. 12B.
- the discovery message 1210 is a 192-bit discovery message in a non-public safety open discovery use case.
- the discovery message 1220 is a discovery message in the public safety use case.
- the above-described passive scan signal for example, a discovery message 1210 or a discovery message 1220 including information on a service provided by a device can be used.
- the above-described active scan message can be a discovery message that does not include information on services provided by the device.
- the terminal As described above, according to the wireless communication system, the terminal, the base station, and the processing method, it is possible to enable D2D communication in SCC even if the PCC and SCC frequencies are separated.
- a coexistence method with a wireless LAN in an unlicensed band has been studied.
- a scenario in which this unlicensed band is used not only for communication between the eNB and the UE but also for D2D communication has been studied.
- PCC licensed band
- SCC unlicensed band
- a mismatch occurs. That is, for example, a case where a device detected in PCC cannot communicate because of a different propagation characteristic in SCC can be considered.

Abstract
