- This rolling bearing cage is made of a resin composition containing reinforcing fibers and 3 to 40% by weight of spherical carbon.
- the spherical carbon used as a solid lubricant may have an average particle diameter of 100 ⁇ or less.
- JP 2010-053971 A Another ball bearing cage with a solid lubricant is known from JP 2010-053971 A.
- this ball bearing cage substances which are supposed to reduce the friction are distributed unequally, whereby the maximum density of these substances is given on the inner surfaces of cage pockets.

- the rolling element diameter corresponds approximately to the cage pocket diameter;
- the plastic roller bearing cage is particularly suitable for use in a low-lubricated or only initially lubricated bearings. Under a poorly lubricated bearings are rolling bearings, which - apart from the solid lubricant contained in the rolling bearing cage - are operated completely unlubricated, as well as media-lubricated bearings. In the case of media lubrication, instead of a lubricant, a substance which does not primarily have lubrication function is present in the bearing. Such a substance may for example be a liquefied gas, which is conveyed in a pump equipped with the roller bearing.
- the medium which acts on the rolling bearing, in particular surfaces, which are exposed to rolling loads, wetted to act an acid or alkali. Also in rolling bearings, which are operated under water, especially in seawater, and whose components are exposed due to lack or incomplete sealing directly to the surrounding water, it is called solicitngeschm elected camps.
- Polyethylene retheretone is particularly suitable as plastic for producing the roller bearing cage.

- PI polyimides
- a common characteristic of the materials mentioned is their suitability for operation at high temperatures.
- the continuous use temperature at which the plastic rolling bearing cage can be operated is preferably above 150 ° C., in particular above 200 ° C. Even when the temperature limits mentioned are reached, the strength of the plastic rolling bearing cage is only slightly reduced.
- the plastic roller bearing cage is preferably designed as a snap cage.
- each of a section of the cage ring and two integrally formed webs formed cage pocket encloses a rolling element, namely a ball, only to the extent that the ball in the mounting of the bearing is snapped into the cage pocket.
- the webs forming a cage pocket embrace the rolling elements at their circumference by a maximum of 212.5 degrees, in particular by a maximum of 210 degrees.
- Schnappstart that is, the width of the opening of a cage pocket on the side facing away from the cage ring end face of the rolling bearing cage, in this embodiment, at least 96% of the rolling element diameter.
- the number of cage pockets is preferably straight, which offers manufacturing advantages, in particular in the manufacture of the rolling bearing cage by injection molding.
- each cage web of the radial bearing snap cage is preferably dimensioned as follows, depending on the size of the rolling bearing cage:
- the web width is preferably in the range of 50-75% of the ball diameter. From 6,000 to 14,288 mm diameter of the rolling elements, the web width is preferably at least 25% and at most 50% of the ball diameter.
- the web width of the roller bearing cage is preferably at least 15% and a maximum of 25% of the ball diameter.
- the minimum width of the cage ring is preferably at least 25% of the rolling element diameter in each of the stated size ranges of the rolling bearing designed as a radial bearing.
- plastic rolling bearing cage according to the invention can be used in particular in single row deep groove ball bearings. Likewise, a plurality of such plastic rolling bearing cages is suitable for multi-row ball bearings. Short description of the drawing

- a plastic roller bearing cage 1 namely ball bearing cage, is designed as a snap cage for a radial deep groove ball bearing.
- the roller bearing cage 1 has a single cage ring 2, on which in the axial direction of the rolling bearing not shown extending cage webs 3 are integrally formed.
- a cage pocket 4 is formed, into which a rolling body, namely a ball, can be snapped.
- the rolling elements may be made of steel, for example of bearing steel 100Cr6 or a corrosion-resistant steel, or of a ceramic material, for example silicon nitride.
- the roller bearing cage 1 is produced by injection molding and has, in addition to the plastic material used as the base material, namely PEEK, a solid lubricant, namely graphite and / or MoS 2 , which, in the way of Transfer lubrication of surfaces of the rolling bearing cage 1, in particular of the cage pockets 4, via the rolling elements on the raceways, not shown, of the rolling bearing is transferable.
- the roller bearing cage 1 according to FIG. 1 is designed substantially thick-walled and provides a considerable wear volume, which contributes to the permanent relubrication of the rolling bearing during its operation, whereby at the same time the function of the rolling bearing cage 1 which wears in the intended manner preserved in the long term.
- the roller bearing cage 1 is particularly suitable for dry running and only minimal or initially lubricated bearings.

- the rolling elements are very low backlash in the cage pockets 4.
- the cage ring 2 has in each case centrally in the circumferential direction between two cage webs 3, that is centrally on the bottom portion 6 of the cage pocket 4, the lowest in Axial direction of the rolling bearing cage 1 and thus the rolling bearing measured width BK.
- the following relation applies between the minimum cage ring width BK and the cage pocket diameter DW: 0.4 mm 2 ⁇ BK 3 / DW ⁇ 1.5 mm 2
- the width of the cage pocket 4 at its open side is at least 96% of the rolling element diameter.

Solid lubricants contained in the rolling bearing cage 1 can be distributed uniformly or unevenly in its volume and on the surface thereof.
- the roller bearing cage 1 in the transition region of each cage web 3 to the cage ring 2 has a radially outwardly directed material elevation 5 which is rectangular in radial plan view.
- the material elevations 5 can start in particular in the case of vibrations of the rolling bearing cage 1 having rolling bearing on the outer ring. On the one hand, the vibration is damped and transferred to the other solid lubricant on the raceway of the outer ring. In the course of operation of the rolling bearing, the material elevations 5 are subject to scheduled wear. Due to the spherical shape of the cage pockets 4 is also at partially or completely removed material elevations 5 given a guide of the rolling elements in the rolling bearing cage 1.
