Abstract

Das Verfahren und die Vorrichtung dienen zur Sauerstoffgewinnung durch Tieftemperaturzerlegung von Luft mit variablem Energieverbrauch. Ein Destillationssäulen-System, das weist eine Hochdrucksäule (34), eine Niederdrucksäule (35) sowie einen Hauptkondensator (36), einen Nebenkondensator (26) und einen Zusatzkondensator (37) auf. In dem Hauptkondensator (36) wird gasförmiger Stickstoff (41, 42) aus der Hochdrucksäule (34) in indirektem Wärmeaustausch mit Zwischenflüssigkeit (43) der Niederdrucksäule (35) verflüssigt. In dem Nebenkondensator (26) wird ein erster Flüssigsauerstoffstrom (70) aus dem Sumpf der Niederdrucksäule (35) in indirektem Wärmeaustausch mit Einsatzluft (25b) verdampft, um ein gasförmiges Sauerstoffprodukt (72) zu gewinnen. Der Zusatzkondensator dient als Sumpfheizung der Niederdrucksäule (35) und wird mit einem ersten Stickstoffstrom (44) aus dem Destillationssäulen-System beheizt, der zuvor in einem Kaltverdichter (45) verdichtet wurde. In einem zweiten Betriebsmodus mit niedrigerem Energieverbrauch wird im Vergleich zu einem ersten Betriebsmodus mit höherem Energieverbrauch weniger Einsatzluft (1) im Hauptluftverdichter (3) der Anlage auf einen niedrigeren Druck verdichtet, weniger Flüssigsauerstoff (70) aus der Niederdrucksäule (35) in den Nebenkondensator (26) eingeleitet und mehr Stickstoff in dem Kaltverdichter (45) verdichtet. Außerdem wird in dem zweiten Betriebsmodus dem Nebenkondensator (26) zusätzlich ein zweiter Flüssigsauerstoffstrom (73) zugeleitet.
