「確定紙幣待ち」とは、返却すべき枚数が分からなくなったときに、紙幣カセット6-1~6-5の確定紙幣の記番号が紙幣認識部4により検出されるまで行う処理である。
「確定紙幣待ち」の場合、返却処理部215は、紙幣認識部4からの鑑別結果を受け取り、繰り出された紙幣の記番号が未確定紙幣であるとき、当該紙幣は一保留部3に搬送される。この場合、処理は条件項目「4」に移行して搬送停止待ち状態となる。
「確定紙幣待ち」の場合、返却処理部215は、紙幣認識部4からの鑑別結果を受け取り、繰り出された紙幣の記番号が「確定紙幣1枚目」(図9の「記番号:222222」)であるとき、処理(「2」-「a」)と同様の処理がなされる。
「確定紙幣待ち」の場合、返却処理部215は、紙幣認識部4からの鑑別結果を受け取り、繰り出された紙幣の記番号が「確定紙幣2枚目」(図9の「記番号:111111」)であるとき、紙幣は一時保留部3に搬送される。また、これに後続する紙幣も一時保留部3に搬送される。
「確定紙幣待ち」の場合、返却処理部215は、紙幣認識部4からの鑑別結果を受け取り、繰り出された紙幣の記番号が未確定紙幣又は確定紙幣のいずれでもないとき、又は紙幣認識部4から「枚数確定可能な枚数 2枚」のとき、又は「枚数不確定可能な紙幣 枚数=枚以上」、又は「枚数不確定可能な紙幣 枚数=2枚以上」のとき、紙幣は一時保留部3に搬送される。
「確定紙幣待ち」の場合であって、処理(「3」-「a」)~処理(「3」-「h」)の後に、枚数確定の種類に関係なく、返却処理部215は、返却枚数と返却指示枚数とを比較して以下の通り処理を行う。
「搬送停止待ち状態」とは、紙幣カセット6-1~6-5から紙幣の繰り出し及び搬送を停止させる動作であって、搬送部5に紙幣が存在するには、現在搬送部5に残っている紙幣の搬送が終わると搬送動作を停止させる状態をいう。
「搬送停止待ち状態」の場合、搬送部5に存在する紙幣は一時保留部3に搬送される。
「搬送停止待ち」の場合であって、処理(「4」-「a」)~処理(「4」-「h」)の後に、枚数確定の種類に関係なく、返却処理部215は、返却枚数と返却指示枚数とを比較して以下の通り処理を行う。
以上のように、第2の実施形態によれば、第1の実施形態の効果に加えて、紙幣カセットに搬送した紙幣の記番号を記憶して、これを返却時の判定に使用することで、第1の実施形態に比較して現物紙幣の返却率の向上が期待できる。
次に、本発明の現金処理装置の第3の実施形態を、図面を参照しながら詳細に説明する。
第3の実施形態の現金処理装置の内部機構は第1及び第2の実施形態と同一又は対応する。そのため、第3の実施形態でも図1を用いて説明する。
以上のように、第3の実施形態によれば、ダイレクト入金の動作モードを設定できるようにすることで、運用に最適な処理(処理時間優先か現物返却優先か)をオペレータの選択によりできるようになる。
上述した第1、第2及び第3の実施形態においても、本発明の種々の変形実施形態を説明したが、本発明は、以下のような変形実施形態も広く適用することができる。
Claims (8)
- 投入される媒体を取り込む入金部と、
媒体を排出する出金部と、
搬送された媒体を鑑別する媒体認識部と、
搬送されてきた媒体を収納する集積機能と、蓄積されている媒体を分離して繰り出す分離機能とを有する1又は複数の媒体収納部と、
搬送されてきた媒体を一時的に収納する集積機能と、収納されている媒体を分離して繰り出す分離機能とを有する一時保留部と、
上記入金部から取り込まれた媒体の上記媒体認識部による鑑別結果に基づいて、上記1又は複数の媒体収納部への収納対象とする媒体を、対応する上記1又は複数の媒体収納部に搬送し、上記1又は複数の媒体収納部への収納対象外の媒体を、上記一時保留部に搬送する入金処理部と
を備える現金処理装置。 - 上記入金部からの媒体の入金取引が完了しない場合、上記一時保留部に収納されている媒体を上記出金部に搬送すると共に、上記1又は複数の媒体収納部に収納された今回の入金媒体を分離して上記出金部に搬送する返却処理部を有する
請求項1に記載の現金処理装置。 - 上記各媒体収納部に既に収納されている最新媒体の媒体識別情報と、今回上記入金部から搬送された入金媒体の媒体識別情報とを記憶する媒体情報記憶部を備え、
上記返却処理部は、上記各媒体収納部から分離した媒体を上記媒体認識部に与え、上記媒体認識部による当該媒体の鑑別結果と、上記最新媒体の識別情報及び上記入金媒体の媒体識別情報とに基づいて、上記各媒体収納部に収納された今回の上記入金媒体を上記出金部に搬送する
請求項2に記載の現金処理装置。 - 上記返却処理部は、上記媒体認識部による当該媒体の鑑別結果と、上記最新媒体の識別情報及び上記入金媒体の媒体識別情報とに基づいて、今回の上記入金媒体と確定が得られる媒体を上記出金部に搬送し、今回の上記入金媒体と確定が得られない媒体を上記一時保留部に搬送する
請求項3に記載の現金処理装置。 - 上記返却処理部は、上記媒体認識部による当該媒体の鑑別結果と、上記最新媒体の識別情報及び上記入金媒体の媒体識別情報とに基づき、所定の返却条件に従って、今回の上記入金媒体と確定が得られる媒体と、今回の上記入金媒体と確定が得られない媒体とを判断する
請求項3又は4に記載の現金処理装置。 - 上記返却処理部は、上記所定の返却条件に従って、上記各媒体収納部から返却すべき返却枚数と、上記媒体認識部により認識された媒体の枚数情報とに基づいて、上記媒体収納部から繰り出す媒体の枚数を確定する
請求項5に記載の現金処理装置。 - 上記返却処理部は、上記一時保留部に収納された今回の上記入金媒体と確定が得られない媒体を再度上記媒体認識部に与えて、今回の上記入金媒体を出金口に搬送する
請求項4~6のいずれかに記載の現金処理装置。 - 搬送されてきた媒体を収納する集積機能を有する収納用媒体収納部を更に備え、
上記入金処理部は、
上記入金部から取り込まれた媒体の上記媒体認識部による鑑別結果に基づいて、上記1又は複数の媒体収納部への収納対象とする媒体を、対応する上記1又は複数の媒体収納部に搬送し、上記1又は複数の媒体収納部への収納対象外の媒体を、上記一時保留部に搬送する第1の動作モードと、
上記入金部から取り込まれた媒体の上記媒体認識部による鑑別結果に基づいて、上記1又は複数の媒体収納部への収納対象とする媒体を、対応する上記1又は複数の媒体収納部に搬送し、上記1又は複数の媒体収納部への収納対象外の媒体を、上記収納用媒体収納部に搬送する第2の動作モードと
を有し、
上記第1の動作モードと上記第2の動作モードとを設定切替する設定切替部を更に有する
請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の現金処理装置。
