Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pneumatic circuit of a tire testing device such as a tire uniformity machine.
- the tire testing apparatus measures the uniformity (uniformity) of the tire when the tire attached to the rim is rotated.
- the tire test apparatus includes a pneumatic circuit 510 having a test system 520 that adjusts the internal pressure of the tire 550 when the uniformity is measured.

- the pressure regulator 525 is provided in the air supply pipe 521 and adjusts the flow rate of air in the air supply pipe 521 so that the internal pressure of the tire 550 becomes the target command pressure.
- the pressure regulator 525 is supplied from the air source 530 so that the flow rate is proportional to the differential pressure between the target command pressure from the controller 523 and the internal pressure of the tire 550 (hereinafter, also simply referred to as “differential pressure”).
- the test system 520 of the pneumatic circuit 510 rotates the tire 550 by pressing a drum (not shown) against the tire 550 while maintaining the internal pressure of the tire 550 at the target command pressure, and is provided on the drum.
- the uniformity of the tire 550 is measured by measuring the repulsive force generated in the tire 550 with a load measuring device (not shown).
- the change in the repulsive force of the tire 550 is measured when the tire 550 is rotated with the drum pressed against the tire 550. At this time, it is important to keep the internal pressure of the tire 550 constant at a predetermined pressure (target command pressure).
- the internal pressure of the tire 550 may decrease or increase during the tire test.
- the change in the internal pressure affects the measurement result of uniformity, the measurement result varies depending on the measurement timing of the tire test, and the measurement accuracy in the tire test apparatus 500 is lowered.
- the fluctuation of the internal pressure of the tire 550 during the tire test occurs as follows.

That is, when the mass flow rate Q2 of the air exhausted from the needle valve 322 is half of ⁇ Ph ( ⁇ Ph / 2).
- the needle valve 322 of the pneumatic circuit 10 has the internal pressure of the tire 50 at the mass flow rate Q1 where the dead zone d is located on the exhaust side of the flow rate 0 when the air temperature in the tire 50 rises as described above.
- the exhaust section shut-off valve 323 opens and closes the exhaust pipe 321 by switching the position of the valve based on an instruction signal from the controller 14.
- the exhaust part shut-off valve 323 of the present embodiment is disposed on the downstream side of the needle valve 322 in the exhaust pipe 321, it may be disposed on the upstream side.

- the uniformity test of the tire 50 is performed as follows.
- the controller 14 opens the first shutoff valve 205, closes the second shutoff valve 305, feeds the supply / exhaust valve 307, and shuts off the exhaust section.
- the valve 323 is closed.
- the bead seat pressure air supplied from the air supply source 12 in the example of the present embodiment, for example, compressed air of about 0.4 MPa, for example
- the inner pressure of the bead rises, and the bead portion is pressed against the rim to be in close contact.
- the controller 14 closes the first shut-off valve 205 and the second shut-off valve after a predetermined time has elapsed since the bead seat pressure was reached. 305 is maintained in a closed state, the supply / discharge valve 307 is evacuated, and the exhaust part shut-off valve 323 is maintained in a closed state. As a result, the supply of air to the tire 50 is shut off, and the air in the tire 50 is exhausted from the supply / discharge valve 307 to the outside.
- This exhaust reduces the internal pressure of the tire from the bead seat pressure toward the test pressure (0.4 MPa to 0.2 MPa in the example of the present embodiment).
- the controller 14 keeps the first shut-off valve 205 closed, opens the second shut-off valve 305, and supplies / discharges the valve.
- 307 is supplied with air, and the exhaust shutoff valve 323 is opened.
- the air is exhausted from the fixed exhaust unit 320 at a constant flow rate (mass flow rate) Q, and the internal pressure of the tire 50 is adjusted by the test system 30 (pressure proportional control valve unit 310) so as to become the test pressure.
- the pressure proportional control valve unit 310 supplies and exhausts the gas so that the differential pressure converges to a convergence value (see point A in FIG. 2A). Thereby, the internal pressure of the tire is adjusted to the test pressure.
- the controller 14 After completion of the test, the controller 14 maintains the state where the first shutoff valve 205 is closed, the second shutoff valve 305 is closed, the supply / discharge valve 307 is exhausted, and the exhaust part shutoff valve 323 is closed. Thereby, the air in the tire is completely exhausted, and the tire 50 can be detached from the rim 2.
- the characteristic curve c is shifted to the exhaust side by the mass flow rate Q by exhausting the air in the second pipe 202 to the outside at a constant mass flow rate Q from the fixed exhaust unit 320. (Refer to FIG. 2A), and thereby the internal pressure of the tire 50 can be adjusted in a short time and with high accuracy. Specifically, it is as follows.
- the differential pressure is maintained at the convergence value on the negative side of the dead zone d (see point A in FIG. 2A), so the difference in the dead zone where the pressure proportional control valve does not supply or exhaust air.
- the internal pressure of the tire 50 can be adjusted in a short time and with high accuracy.
- the dead zone d has a flow rate of 0 in the state shifted to the air supply side.
- the mass flow rate Q of the air exhausted from the fixed exhaust unit 320 is set so as to be located on the exhaust side. For this reason, the internal pressure of the tire 50 can be adjusted more accurately and in a short time.
- the adjustment of the differential pressure on the exhaust side including the dead zone d in the characteristic curve c is performed in the same time as the adjustment of the differential pressure on the air supply side.
- the amount of air used is reduced while shortening the time for adjusting the internal pressure.
- the pneumatic circuit of the tire test apparatus of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and it is needless to say that various changes can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.
- the specific configuration of the quantitative exhaust unit 320 is not limited.
- the exhaust unit shut-off valve 323 and / or the muffler 324 may not be provided in the fixed exhaust unit 320.
- exhaustion exhaust part 320 should just be the structure which can exhaust air outside with a fixed flow volume, for example, the structure which provided the orifice in the 2nd piping 202, etc. may be sufficient as it.
- the pneumatic circuit (conventional pneumatic circuit) having the same configuration as the pneumatic circuit 10 except that the pneumatic circuit 10 of the above-described embodiment and the quantitative exhaust unit are not provided. Were used to adjust the internal pressure of the tire 50.
- the air temperature in the tire 50 is greatly increased by adiabatic compression. For this reason, if the internal pressure of the tire 50 is increased to the bead seat pressure and then immediately reduced to the test pressure, the air temperature in the tire 50 becomes higher than the ambient temperature. On the other hand, after the internal pressure of the tire 50 is increased to the bead seat pressure, this pressure is maintained until the air temperature in the tire 50 is transmitted to the surroundings and then reduced to the test pressure after the air temperature in the tire 50 decreases. The air temperature in the tire 50 is lower than the ambient temperature. In this way, when the internal pressure of the tire 50 is increased to the bead seat pressure and then decreased to the test pressure, the experiment is performed by changing the air pressure temperature in the tire 50 by adjusting the holding time of the bead seat pressure. went.
- the tire 50 is changed by changing the timing of switching the supply / discharge valve 307 from exhaust (decompression) to supply (pressure adjustment start) based on the measurement value of the pressure sensor 306.
