- the history data displayed on the display unit 140 is not limited to the example shown in FIG.
- the first notification receiving unit 113 refers to the first notification history DB 121
- the first notification received in step S401 is the first number of times received from the first electronic book terminal 100a that transmitted the first notification.
- Data indicating whether it is a notification or data indicating the reception date and time of the first notification received from the first electronic book terminal 100a that transmitted the first notification may be acquired as history data to be displayed on the display unit 140. .
- the second part acquisition unit 115 determines whether or not an operation input indicating that the second part is desired to be specified is received from the second user via the operation unit 160 (step S404).
- the process proceeds to step S407.
- the second part acquisition unit 115 determines that an operation input indicating that the second part is desired to be designated is received from the second user via the operation unit 160 (step S404; Yes)
- the second part acquisition unit 115 is used. Determines whether designation of the second part from the second user has been received via the operation unit 160 (step S405).
- the second part acquisition unit 115 is in a waiting state until it is determined that the designation of the second part has been received from the second user (step S405; No).
- the second notification transmission unit 116 receives the second part received. Is transmitted to the first electronic book terminal 100a (step S406).
- the second notification transmission unit 116 records the history of the first notification received in step S401 in the first notification history DB 121 (step S407).
- control part 110 returns a process to step S401, and repeats the process of step S401-S407 until it receives the operation input which instruct
- the second electronic book terminal 100b includes the first part designated in the received first notification and the first electronic book terminal that has transmitted the first notification.
- the second user browses the history of the first notification transmitted by 100a in the past.
- the second user determines whether or not to transmit the second notification to the first electronic book terminal 100a that transmitted the first notification, based on the history of the first notification. be able to.
- Modification 4 of the above embodiment will be described.
- the second electronic book terminal 100b ignores the reception of the first notification when the first portion specified in the received first notification is an unread portion by the second user.
- FIG. 12 is an example of a flowchart of browsing sharing processing executed by the control unit 110 of the second electronic book terminal 100b according to the present modification.
- the browsing sharing process is started, for example, when the second user inputs an operation input indicating the start of execution of the browsing sharing process via the operation unit 160 of the second electronic book terminal 100b. Further, this process is executed by, for example, the CPU of the control unit 110 reading a program stored in the ROM 120.
- the first notification receiving unit 113 of the second electronic book terminal 100b determines whether or not the first notification is received from the first electronic book terminal 100a (step S501).
- the first notification receiving unit 113 waits until it is determined that the first notification is received from the first electronic book terminal 100a (step S501; No).
- the first notification receiving unit 113 When it is determined that the first notification receiving unit 113 has received the first notification (step S501; Yes), the first notification receiving unit 113 reads the first part designated by the first notification as read by the second user. It is determined whether or not it is a part (step S502).
- ROM 120 for each electronic book stored in the ROM 120, data indicating how much the second user has read the electronic book, for example, a page of the electronic book already displayed on the display unit 140. Reading history data including data representing is stored.
- the 1st notification receiving part 113 determines whether the electronic book which concerns on the 1st part designated by the 1st notification is memorize
- the first notification receiving unit 113 determines that the electronic book related to the first part specified by the first notification is not stored in the ROM 120, the first user specified by the first notification is displayed by the second user. It is determined that the part has not been read.
- the first notification receiving unit 113 refers to the reading history data and is specified by the first notification. It is determined whether or not the first part is a part already read by the second user.
- the control unit 110 performs steps S503 to S505. The same processing as in steps S105 to S107 (see FIG. 5) of the embodiment is performed.
- step S502 determines that the first notification receiving unit 113 determines that the first part specified by the first notification is not a part read by the second user (step S502; No)
- the first notification receiving unit 113 performs the process. Return to step S201.
- the second electronic book terminal 100b does not execute the processes after step S503, and therefore the first notification is made in step S501. The result is the same as in the case where it was not received.
- the second electronic book terminal 100b determines that the first part specified in the received first notification is the part that the second user has not read. Ignore that one notification has been received.
- the communication system 100 of the present embodiment can prevent the first part unread by the second user from being forcibly displayed on the display unit 140.
- the first electronic book terminal 100a and the second electronic book terminal 100b have been described as examples in which the wireless LAN access point 300 is relayed and communicated.
- a communication method between the book terminal 100a and the second electronic book terminal 100b is arbitrary.
- the first electronic book terminal 100 a and the second electronic book terminal 100 b may communicate directly without relaying the wireless LAN access point 300.
- the second electronic book terminal 100b transmits a second notification designating the second part to the first electronic book terminal 100a.
- the information represented by the second notification is not limited to this.
- the second notification may be information indicating an instruction to cancel the invalidation of the operation of the first user related to browsing the electronic book.
- the first user does not use the electronic book unless the second user performs an operation for transmitting the second notification from the second electronic book terminal 100b. You cannot perform operations related to browsing.
- the communication system 100 of the present embodiment suppresses nuisance by the first user such that the first user unilaterally transmits information not desired by the second user, and promotes gentle communication between the users. Can do.
- the program executed by the electronic book terminal 100 is a computer such as a flexible disk, a CD-ROM (Compact Disk Read-Only Memory), a DVD (Digital Versatile Disk), and an MO (Magneto-Optical Disk). It may be stored and distributed in a readable recording medium. And the system which performs the above-mentioned process may be comprised by installing the program in information processing apparatuses, such as a personal computer.
- the program may be stored in a disk device or the like included in a predetermined server device on a communication network such as the Internet. And a program may be comprised so that it may be superimposed on a carrier wave and downloaded, for example.
- the present invention is suitable for communication between a plurality of electronic book terminals capable of browsing the same electronic book.
