Definitions
- the present invention relates to an energy conversion device that converts electric energy and mechanical energy from one to the other.
- the generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
- the motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Energy loss occurs during conversion between electrical and mechanical energy. In order to increase the utilization efficiency of the energy given to the generator or the motor, it is required to reduce the loss generated during the energy conversion as much as possible.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a generator having high power generation efficiency while being small and lightweight.
- the generator disclosed in this document includes a ring in which a plurality of permanent magnets are accommodated, a coil that is arranged so that the permanent magnets pass through the rotation of the ring, and a ring that rotates and supports the ring.
- a roller conveyor is placed under the ring. According to this configuration, since the iron core of the coil is not necessary, the generator can be reduced in size and weight. Furthermore, since the ring can be rotated with a small force, the loss of mechanical energy is reduced. As a result, more electric energy can be extracted from the generator, so that power generation efficiency can be increased.
- Patent Document 2 JP 2009-22140 A (Patent Document 2), a rubber roller for rotating the ring is added to the configuration in which a plurality of permanent magnets arranged in a ring shape penetrates a plurality of coils as described above.
- a rotary generator is disclosed. This rubber roller is in contact with the outer surface of the ring. Therefore, the ring is held by the rubber roller and rotates as the rubber roller rotates.
- Patent Document 3 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-23547 (Patent Document 3) and International Publication No. 2008/032410 (Patent Document 4) disclose configurations similar to those of Patent Document 2 described above. That is, in the generator disclosed in either Patent Document 3 or Patent Document 4, a ring for fixing the permanent magnet is in contact with the roller. The ring is held and rotated by this roller.
- the output of the generator can be increased by increasing the number of permanent magnets.
- increasing the number of permanent magnets or increasing the size of the permanent magnets causes a problem that the weight of the ring on which the permanent magnets are mounted increases.
- the generators disclosed in each of the above Patent Documents 1 to 4 each have a structure for lightening the rotation of the ring.
- the roller or the rolling element is pressed from above by the ring. This makes it difficult to achieve light rotation of the ring. If the ring cannot be rotated lightly, the loss of kinetic energy associated with the rotation of the ring increases. Therefore, the output of the generator cannot be increased as expected.
- Patent Documents 1 to 4 show a structure for rotating and holding a ring on which a permanent magnet is mounted, there is nothing about a structure necessary for increasing the output of an energy conversion device (generator or motor). Not specifically described.
- the present invention is for solving the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to make it possible to increase the output of an energy conversion device including permanent magnets arranged in a ring shape.
- An energy conversion device is an energy conversion device that converts electric energy and mechanical energy from one to the other.
- the energy conversion device includes a magnet ring.
- the magnet ring is formed in a ring shape having a ring-shaped magnet holder formed with a magnet box having an open top, a permanent magnet accommodated in the magnet box of the magnet holder, and a width wider than the width of the magnet holder.
- a cover attached to the upper surface of the magnet holder concentrically with the magnet holder and having an extending portion extending in a radial direction of the magnet holder from the magnet holder, and the cover and the magnet so as to be concentric with the magnet holder and the cover And a gear fixed to the holder.
- the energy conversion device accommodates a magnet ring and has a ring-shaped case formed with a window portion that exposes a part of the gear to the outside, and a bottom surface of the case and a cover between the inner surface of the case and the magnet holder.
- a plurality of wheels arranged so as to be in contact with the extending portion of each of the plurality of wheels, a regulating member for defining a relative distance between the plurality of wheels through which a rotation shaft of each of the plurality of wheels is passed, and a periphery of the case And at least one coil wound around.
- the magnet ring is supported by a plurality of wheels sandwiched between the extended portion of the cover and the bottom surface of the case. Since the weight of the magnet ring is distributed to a plurality of wheels, the force applied to one wheel is reduced. Further, each wheel is in contact with the extended portion of the cover and the bottom surface of the case with a small area. For this reason, even if the weight of a magnet ring increases, a wheel can be rotated lightly. That is, the rotation of the magnet ring can be lightened. Since the rotation of the magnet ring becomes light, energy loss accompanying the rotation of the magnet ring can be reduced. Therefore, the output of an energy converter provided with a permanent magnet arranged in a ring shape can be increased.
- the energy conversion device may be a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy (ie, a motor), or a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy (ie, a generator).
- the number of magnet boxes formed on the magnet ring is not particularly limited as long as it is at least one. Similarly, there may be at least one coil, and there may be a plurality of coils.
- each of the plurality of wheels includes at least two disks connected by a rotating shaft.
- the energy conversion device further includes a rolling element disposed between the inner wall surface of the case and at least one of the cover and the magnet holder.
- the rotation of the magnet ring can be stabilized.
- centrifugal force acts on the magnet ring.
- the rolling element can suppress the vibration of the magnet ring.
- the rolling element assists the rotation of the magnet ring. Thereby, rotation of a magnet ring can be stabilized.
- the inner radius of the gear is larger than the inner radius of the case.
- the rolling element is disposed between the gear and the inner wall surface of the case.
- the energy conversion device further includes a container provided above the case, and a spherical magnet accommodated in the container so as to be freely rotatable in the container.
- the rotation of the magnet ring can be further reduced by utilizing the repulsive force and attractive force between the permanent magnet accommodated in the magnet holder and the spherical magnet.
- the cross section of the magnet holder along the radial direction of the magnet holder is substantially rectangular.
- the cross section of the case along the radial direction of the case is substantially rectangular.
- the coil has a substantially rectangular cross section.
- the gap between the magnet holder and the case can be reduced. Therefore, the clearance gap between the coil wound around the case and the permanent magnet accommodated in the magnet holder can also be reduced.
- the magnetic coupling between the permanent magnet and the coil can be increased. Therefore, the output of the energy conversion device can be increased.
- the energy conversion device is a generator.
- the gear is meshed with the power source gear.
- the energy conversion device is a motor.
- the motor further includes a stator arranged to face the case.
- the stator is provided outside the case.
- the energy conversion device is provided on the outside of the stator and includes an additional magnet ring including a plurality of permanent magnets arranged in a ring shape, an additional coil passed through the additional magnet ring, and an additional magnet ring And an additional stator disposed on the outside.
- the stator is provided outside the case.
- the energy conversion device is provided on the outer side of the stator, is formed with a gear having the same number of teeth as the gear, includes a plurality of permanent magnets arranged in a ring shape, and passes through the additional magnet ring. And an additional coil and a synchronization mechanism for synchronizing the rotation of the magnet ring and the additional magnet ring with each other.
- the synchronization mechanism includes a first gear that meshes with the gear, a second gear that meshes with the additional gear, and a rotating shaft that connects the first and second gears.
- the number of teeth of the first gear is equal to the number of teeth of the second gear.
- the stator can be shared between the two magnet rings.
- the output of the energy conversion device can be further increased.
- the magnet ring is supported and rotated by a plurality of wheels sandwiched between the extended portion of the cover and the bottom surface of the case. Therefore, even if the weight of a magnet ring increases, the rotation of the magnet ring can be lightened. Therefore, the output of an energy converter provided with a permanent magnet arranged in a ring shape can be increased.

- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing a cross section of the energy conversion device along the II-II direction of FIG.
- FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing a cross section of the energy conversion device taken along the line III-III in FIG.
- the energy conversion device 100 is installed on a horizontal plane.
- the term “horizontal plane” means a plane that intersects the direction of gravity, and is not limited to a plane that intersects the gravity direction at an angle of exactly 90 °. However, it is preferable in terms of the operation of the energy conversion device 100 to place the energy conversion device 100 on a surface as close to 90 ° as possible with the direction of gravity.
- the vertical direction means the direction of gravity (vertical direction).
- the energy conversion device 100 includes a permanent magnet 1, a magnet holder 2, a cover 3, a gear 4, a case 5, wheels 6, rolling elements 7, and a coil 8.
- the permanent magnet 1, the magnet holder 2, the cover 3, and the gear 4 constitute a magnet ring.
- the permanent magnet 1 is accommodated in a magnet box 2 a formed in the magnet holder 2.
- ten permanent magnets are shown to be accommodated in the magnet holder 2.
- this configuration is an example, and the number of permanent magnets 1 accommodated in the magnet holder 2 may be at least one.
- a rare earth magnet is preferably used.
- rare earth magnets have a stronger magnetic force (coercivity) than ferrite magnets of the same size.
- a samarium cobalt magnet or a neodymium magnet can be used.
- a neodymium magnet is particularly preferably used.
- Neodymium magnets generally have the same size and strong magnetic force (coercivity) compared to samarium cobalt magnets. Therefore, for example, a small permanent magnet can be used. Or compared with the case where the samarium cobalt magnet of the same size is used, the output of an energy converter can be raised (a big energy is taken out) by using a neodymium magnet.
- the embodiment of the present invention does not exclude permanent magnets other than rare earth magnets. Of course, a ferrite magnet can be used for the permanent magnet 1.
- the magnet holder 2 is formed in a ring shape and holds the permanent magnet 1.
- the upper part of the magnet box 2a is opened. Therefore, the permanent magnet 1 is inserted into the magnet box 2 a from above the magnet holder 2.
- a plurality of magnet boxes are formed in the magnet holder 2. By inserting the permanent magnet 1 into the magnet box 2a, the permanent magnet 1 is arranged in a ring shape.
- the permanent magnet 1 may be accommodated in all the magnet boxes 2a, and the permanent magnet 1 may not be contained in at least one of the plurality of magnet boxes 2a.
- the magnet holder 2 is made of a nonmagnetic material. If it is a nonmagnetic material, the material of the magnet holder 2 will not be specifically limited. In one embodiment, the magnet holder 2 is formed of a nonmagnetic metal (eg, aluminum). If the temperature of the permanent magnet 1 becomes too high, the permanent magnet 1 may be demagnetized. That is, the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 1 may become weak. By forming the magnet holder 2 from a nonmagnetic metal, the heat generated in the permanent magnet 1 can be efficiently dissipated to the outside, so that the possibility of such a problem can be reduced. In another embodiment, the magnet holder 2 is formed of a resin material. By forming the magnet holder 2 with a resin material, the weight of the magnet holder 2 can be reduced. In addition, the magnet holder 2 can be easily molded.
- a nonmagnetic metal eg, aluminum
- the cover 3 is formed in a ring shape and covers the upper surface of the magnet holder 2.
- the cover 3 is attached to the magnet holder 2 so as to be concentric with the magnet holder 2.
- the cover 3 is formed wider than the magnet holder 2. Therefore, in the state where the cover 3 is attached to the magnet holder 2, the extending portion 3 a is formed in the cover 3.
- the extending part 3 a is a part of the cover 3 protruding from the magnet holder 2. In this embodiment, the extending portion 3 a extends in the inner diameter direction of the magnet holder 2.
- the gear 4 is mechanically fixed to the cover 3 and the magnet holder 2.
- the gear 4 is formed in a ring shape and is arranged concentrically with the magnet holder 2 together with the cover 3.
- a screw 11 is used to fix the gear 4 and the cover 3. The screw 11 passes through the gear 4 and the cover 3 and is fixed to the magnet holder 2.
- the upper surface of the gear 4 is processed so that the head of the screw 11 does not protrude from the upper surface of the gear 4.
- the gear 4 is formed with external teeth for meshing with a gear (not shown) outside the energy conversion device 100.
- the external teeth of the gear 4 are directed outward with respect to the rotation axis of the magnet holder 2.
- the gear 4 is wider than the magnet holder 2.
- the gear 4 extends from the magnet holder 2 in the inner diameter direction of the magnet holder 2.
- the width of the gear 4 is smaller than the width of the cover 3.
- the inner diameter of the gear 4 is larger than the inner diameter of the cover 3.
- the outer diameter of the gear 4 is almost the same as the outer diameter of the cover 3. Therefore, a space is formed between the inner surface of the case 5 and the gear 4.
- the rolling elements 7 are arranged in this space.
- the case 5 accommodates the magnet ring, that is, the magnet holder 2, the cover 3, and the gear 4 in which permanent magnets are accommodated.
- the case 5 is formed in a ring shape having a common center with the magnet holder 2, the cover 3, and the gear 4.
- a point P indicates a common center of the magnet holder 2, the cover 3, the gear 4, and the case 5.
- the center represented by the point P corresponds to the rotation axis shown in FIGS. Also in the drawings to be described hereinafter, the relationship between the point P and the rotation axis is the same as the above relationship, so the description will not be repeated.
- a window portion 5a for exposing a part of the gear 4 to the outside is formed in the case 5.
- An external gear (not shown) can be meshed with the gear 4 in the window portion 5a.
- the location in which the window part 5a is formed is not limited.
- the window part 5a is not limited to what is formed in one place of the case 5, and may be formed in the several place of the case 5.
- the wheel 6 has discs 6a and 6b and a rotating shaft 6c that connects the discs 6a and 6b.
- the wheel 6 is disposed between the inner surface of the case 5 and the magnet holder 2. Further, the wheel 6 is in contact with the bottom of the case 5 and the extending portion 3 a of the cover 3. That is, the wheel 6 supports the magnet holder 2 in which the permanent magnet 1 is accommodated by supporting the extending portion 3 a of the cover 3. As the magnet holder 2 rotates, the wheel 6 rotates. With the rotation of the wheel 6, the magnet holder 2 can be smoothly rotated.
- the number of wheels 6 is preferably 2 or more. Furthermore, in order to rotate the magnet holder 2 stably, it is preferable that the number of the wheels 6 is three or more. Ideally, the wheel 6 and the cover 3 contact each other at a point. One plane is defined by three points. If the number of wheels 6 is 3, the cover 3 comes into contact with each wheel 6 so that the surface of the cover 3 coincides with the above "one plane". Therefore, for example, it is possible to prevent the cover 3 from tilting or vibrating up and down while the magnet holder 2 is rotating.
- each wheel 6 is passed through the defining member 9. Thereby, the relative distance between the plurality of wheels 6 is defined. Even if the cover 3 rotates with the rotation of the magnet holder 2, the relative distance between the plurality of wheels 6 is not changed by the defining member 9. Thereby, while the wheel 6 can support the cover 3 stably, the magnet holder 2 can be continuously rotated smoothly.
- the defining member 9 is preferably formed so that a contact portion with the rotating shaft 6c is as small as possible. A specific example of the defining member 9 will be described in detail later.
- the magnet holder 2 is suspended from the cover 3 and the wheels 6 support the cover 3. Therefore, it is desirable that the cover 3 has a certain degree of strength.
- the material of the cover 3 is not particularly limited, and is, for example, a metal or a resin.
- the wheel 6 also needs to have a strength that can withstand the weight of the magnet holder 2, the cover 3, and the gear 4. Furthermore, when the magnet holder 2 rotates at high speed, the wheel 6 also rotates at high speed by the rotation of the cover 3. For this reason, it is preferable that the wheel 6 is as light as possible so that high-speed rotation is possible. Therefore, wheel 6 is formed of metal (for example, aluminum), for example.
- the rolling element 7 is a non-magnetic sphere.
- the rolling element 7 is in contact with the gear 4 and the inner surface of the case 5. Thereby, when the magnet holder 2 rotates, it can prevent that the magnet holder 2 vibrates in the left-right direction (the radial direction of the magnet holder 2).
- the cover 3 is in contact with the wheel 6, the frictional force between the cover 3 and the wheel 6 is small. Therefore, when the magnet holder 2 rotates, the cover 3 may slide in the left-right direction due to centrifugal force.
- the cover 3 By disposing the rolling element 7 in contact with the gear 4 and the inner surface of the case 5, the cover 3 can be prevented from sliding in the left-right direction, so that the magnet holder 2 vibrates in the left-right direction (the radial direction of the magnet holder 2). Can be prevented. Therefore, the rotation of the magnet holder 2 can be stabilized.
- a ball bearing is constituted by the case 5, the rolling elements 7 and the gear 4.
- the rotation of the magnet holder 2 can be assisted. This also makes it possible to stabilize the rotation of the magnet holder 2.
- the rolling element 7 is in contact with the upper surface (the surface facing the gear 4) inside the case 5 in addition to the inner surface of the gear 4 and the case 5. Thereby, when the magnet holder 2 rotates, the vibration of the magnet holder 2 can be suppressed not only in the horizontal direction but also in the vertical direction.
- a cylinder (roller) may be used for the rolling element 7.
- the cylinder (roller) is provided such that the side surface of the cylinder (roller) is in contact with the inner surface of the gear 4 and the case 5. According to this configuration, it is possible to prevent the magnet holder 2 from vibrating in the left-right direction (the radial direction of the magnet holder 2).
- the coil 8 is wound around the winding frame 10.
- the reel 10 is passed through the case 5. Therefore, the coil 8 is wound around the case 5.
- the wire material and the number of turns of the coil 8 are not particularly limited.
- the reel 10 also serves as a support member for supporting the energy conversion device 100 on a plane.
- the cross section of the magnet holder 2 is rectangular. Furthermore, the cross section of the case 5 is also rectangular.
- the cross section of the winding frame is circular, the distance between the magnet holder 2 and the coil 8 may increase. When the distance between the coil 8 and the permanent magnet 1 increases, the magnetic coupling force between the coil 8 and the permanent magnet 1 decreases.
- the cross section of the winding frame 10 is also rectangular, the distance between the magnet holder 2 and the coil 8 can be made as short as possible. Thereby, the fall of the magnetic coupling force between the coil 8 and the permanent magnet 1 can be suppressed.
- the wheel 6 is greatly drawn in the left-right direction in order to clearly show the structure of the wheel 6.
- the width of the wheel 6 in the left-right direction is preferably as small as possible.
- the number of coils 8 may be at least one and is not particularly limited.
- the number of the coils 8 is plural, it is preferable that the plural coils are arranged at an equal angle on the circumference defined by the case 5.
- the energy conversion device 100 is configured to be able to convert from one of electrical energy (electric power) and mechanical energy (kinetic energy) to the other.
- the energy conversion device 100 is used as a generator.
- an external gear meshing with the gear 4 is rotated by a power source.
- the kinetic energy for rotating the magnet holder 2 is given to the energy converter 100.
- the permanent magnet 1 accommodated in the magnet holder 2 penetrates the inside of the coil 8, a voltage is generated in the coil 8. Therefore, electric energy can be taken out from the energy conversion device 100. That is, the energy conversion device 100 converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
- the energy conversion device 100 is used as a motor (electric motor).
- the magnet holder 2 functions as a rotor, and the plurality of coils 8 function as stators.
- electric energy is given to the energy conversion device 100.
- the plurality of coils 8 are arranged at a predetermined electrical angle.
- the polarity of the voltage applied to each of the plurality of first coils is switched in synchronization with the electrical angle.
- the magnet holder 2 in which the permanent magnet 1 is accommodated rotates. That is, the energy conversion device 100 converts electrical energy into mechanical energy.
- An example of the usage form of the energy conversion device 100 will be described in detail later.
- FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the magnet holder 2 shown in FIGS.
- FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing a cross section of the magnet holder 2 along the direction VV of FIG.
- a plurality of magnet boxes 2 a are formed in the magnet holder 2.
- the upper part of the magnet box 2a is opened.
- the magnet holder 2 is formed with a screw hole 2b for fixing the screw 11 shown in FIGS.
- FIG. 6 is a diagram for explaining the arrangement of permanent magnets in the magnet holder.
- ten permanent magnets 1a to 1j are arranged and held along the circumference 12 inside magnet holder 2.
- the two adjacent permanent magnets are arranged inside the magnet holder 2 so that the same poles (N poles or S poles) face each other. It is arranged with.
- the number of permanent magnets accommodated in the magnet holder 2 may be at least one.
- the number of permanent magnets stored in the magnet holder 2 is not limited to ten.
- the number of permanent magnets accommodated in the magnet holder 2 is appropriately determined according to the performance, dimensions, the number and arrangement of the coils 8 of the energy conversion device 100.
- FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating a first configuration example of the permanent magnet.
- permanent magnet 1 includes a plurality of magnet blocks 1.1 each formed in a fan shape.
- the length of the outer periphery of the magnet block 1.1 (the thickness of the magnet block 1.1) is t1.
- the outer peripheral length L1 of the permanent magnet 1 can be made as close as possible to the outer peripheral length of the magnet box 2a (see FIG. 4). Therefore, as many magnet blocks 1.1 as possible can be arranged inside the magnet box 2a.
- Two adjacent magnet blocks are arranged so that the north and south poles face each other.
- FIG. 8 is a diagram showing a second configuration example of the permanent magnet.
- permanent magnet 1 includes a plurality of rectangular parallelepiped (square) magnet blocks 1.2.
- the thickness of the magnet block 1.2 is t2.
- the length L2 of the permanent magnet 1 is made as close as possible to the inner circumference of the magnet box 2a (see FIG. 4). Can do.
- two adjacent magnet blocks are arranged so that the N pole and the S pole face each other.

- the convex part 2h fitted to the concave part 2e of the part 2.1 and the convex part 2i fitted to the convex part 2f of the part 2.1 are formed on the joint surface of the part 2.2.
- the component 2.1 and the component 2.2 are joined by inserting the pin 2g into the pin hole 2d and fitting the concave portion and the convex portion.
- the structure for joining the other components is the same as that shown in FIG.
- the cover 3, the gear 4 and the case 5 are also formed in a ring shape. Therefore, the cover 3, the gear 4, and the case 5 are also configured to be divided into a plurality of parts, like the magnet holder 2.
- a configuration similar to the configuration in the magnet holder 2 can be applied to the configuration for joining a plurality of components.
- FIG. 11 is a first diagram showing a configuration related to the coil 8.
- FIG. 12 is a second diagram showing a configuration related to the coil. Referring to FIGS. 11 and 12, the winding frame 10 around which the coil 8 is wound is fixed to the base 15 with pins 10a and screws 10b. The surface of the base 15 corresponds to the installation surface of the energy conversion device 100. The pin 10 a is installed on the surface of the base 15.
- screw holes are formed in the base 15.
- a pin hole 10 c into which the pin 10 a is inserted is formed toward the inside of the winding frame 10, and a through hole for passing the screw 10 b is formed.
- Both the pin and the screw are not limited to be necessary, and the winding frame 10 can be fixed to the base 15 by any one of the pin and the screw.
- the winding frame 10 of the coil 8 may be configured such that it can be divided in the vertical direction, for example.
- the winding frame 10 is assembled so as to sandwich the case 5, and the coil 8 is wound around the winding frame 10.
- the winding frame 10 is installed on the base 15 as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12. Further, not only the winding frame 10 but also the coil 8 may be divided.
- the energy conversion device can be assembled without dividing the magnet holder 2, the cover 3, the gear 4 and the case 5 into a plurality of parts.
- the cover 3 attached to the magnet holder 2 is supported by a plurality of wheels 6. Furthermore, the plurality of wheels 6 rotate with the rotation of the magnet holder 2 (the rotation of the cover 3).
- FIG. 13 is a top view showing the arrangement of the plurality of wheels 6.
- the rotation shafts of the plurality of wheels 6 are passed through the defining member 9.
- the defining member 9 is formed in an annular shape. Therefore, the plurality of wheels 6 are arranged on the circumference.
- the relative distance between the two wheels 6 (distance D shown in FIG. 13) is kept constant by the defining member 9.
- the some wheel 6 is arrange
- the whole of the plurality of wheels 6 and the defining member 9 rotate along a circumference determined by the defining member 9.
- FIG. 14 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of the defining member.
- FIG. 15 is a top view of the defining member and the wheel shown in FIG. Referring to FIGS. 14 and 15, rotating shaft 6c is formed as a pin for fixing disks 6a and 6b. The discs 6a and 6b are formed with through holes for passing the rotating shaft 6c. Further, the defining member 9 is also formed with a through hole 9a for passing the rotating shaft 6c (pin).
- FIG. 16 is a diagram showing another example of the configuration of the defining member.
- notch 9 b is formed in defining member 9.
- the notch 9 b is hooked on the rotating shaft 6 c of the wheel 6.
- a through hole 9a or a notch 9b is formed so that the contact portion between the rotating shaft 6c and the defining member 9 is as small as possible. It is preferable.
- the present invention is not limited to the configuration shown in FIGS. 14 to 16, and various configurations can be adopted as the defining member.
- FIG. 17 is a schematic diagram for explaining the effect of the wheel 6. Referring to FIG. 17, to simplify the description, it is assumed that the cover 3 to which the magnet holder 2 is attached and the gear 4 attached to the cover 3 are supported by three wheels 6. A permanent magnet 1 is accommodated in the magnet holder 2. Also, for the sake of simplicity, the defining member 9 is not shown in FIG.
- the whole weight of the magnet holder 2 including the permanent magnet 1, the cover 3 and the gear 4 is applied to the three wheels 6. Therefore, the force F1 (load) is applied downward to the portion of the wheel 6 that contacts the cover 3. On the other hand, a force F2 having the same magnitude as the force F1 is applied upward to a portion of the wheel 6 in contact with the case 5 due to a reaction to the load on the wheel 6.
- the force F1 is equal to the weight of the magnet holder 2 including the permanent magnet 1, the weight of the cover 3, and the weight of the gear 4 divided by the number of wheels 6.
- a plurality of wheels are used. Accordingly, the force F1 applied to one wheel 6 is reduced.
- the force F1 decreases as the number of wheels 6 increases.
- FIG. 18 is a side view of the configuration shown in FIG.
- the contact portion 16a is a portion that contacts the cover 3 in the disc 6a.
- the contact part 16b is a part which contacts the case 5 in the disc 6a.
- the contact portion 16c is a portion that contacts the cover 3 in the disc 6b
- the contact portion 16d is a portion that contacts the case 5 in the disc 6b.
- the width of the wheel 6 is W
- the width of the disks 6a and 6b is W1.
- each of the forces F1 and F2 is distributed and applied to the two disks 6a and 6b. Therefore, the force applied to one disk is further reduced. Further, the width W1 of the contact portions 16a to 16d is small.
- the weight of the magnet ring (magnet holder 2, cover 3 and gear 4) is distributed to the plurality of wheels 6, the force applied to one wheel 6 is reduced. Further, each wheel 6 is in contact with the extended portion of the cover 3 and the bottom surface of the case 5 with a small area. For this reason, even if the weight of a magnet ring increases, the wheel 6 can be rotated lightly. Thereby, rotation of a magnet ring can be lightened.
- the wheel 6 is constituted by a single disk.
- problems described below occur.
- FIG. 19 is a diagram illustrating a wheel constituted by a single disc.
- the width of the wheel 6 is the width W2 of the rotating shaft 6c, which is smaller than the width W shown in FIG. Therefore, the distance between the permanent magnet 1 and the coil (not shown in FIG. 19) can be shortened.
- the forces F1 and F2 are applied only to the disc 6b. Accordingly, the disk 6b is pressed with a greater force than the configuration shown in FIG. Even if the widths of the contact portions 16a and 16b are reduced, the force applied to the disc 6b is increased, so that it is difficult to lightly rotate the disc 6b compared to the configuration shown in FIG.
- the wheel 6 is constituted by a plurality of disks.
- the force applied to each wheel is distributed to a plurality of disks, the force applied to one disk is reduced.
- the area of the portion where one disc contacts the bottom surface of the cover 3 and the case 5 is small. Therefore, the rotation of the wheel 6 can be reduced.
- the durability of the disk constituting the wheel 6 can be enhanced. By reducing the rotation of the wheel 6, energy loss can be reduced. Therefore, the output of the energy conversion device can be increased.
- the wheel 6 is constituted by two disks 6a and 6b. However, when there is a margin in the allowable width of the wheel 6, the number of disks can be made larger than two.
- FIG. 20 is a diagram showing a configuration of the first comparative example. This configuration is essentially the same as the configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2010-283984). Referring to FIG. 20, bearing 21 is installed on the bottom surface of case 5. The magnet holder 2 is supported by being placed on the bearing 21.
- the bearing 21 includes a support 21a and a ball 21b.
- the ball 21b rotates. Thereby, rotation of the magnet holder 2 can be lightened.
- the bottom surface of the magnet holder 2 comes into contact with the balls 21b spread under the magnet holder 2. Since the number of balls in contact with the magnet holder 2 increases, the total contact area increases.
- the contact area between the magnet holder 2 and the ball 21b is reduced by increasing the size of the ball 21b.
- the sectional area of the case 5 (the space inside the case 5) must be increased in order to accommodate both the magnet holder 2 and the bearing 21 in the case 5.
- the cross-sectional area of the magnet holder 2 does not change. For this reason, the distance between the coil wound around the case 5 and the permanent magnet inside the magnet holder 2 is increased. When the distance between the coil and the permanent magnet is increased, the magnetic coupling force is reduced, so that it is difficult to increase the output of the energy conversion device.
- the cover 3 attached to the magnet holder 2 is supported by the vertically placed wheels 6.
- “Vertical placement” is a state in which the disks 6a and 6b are erected so that the rotation axis is in the horizontal direction.
- the wheel 6 is in contact with only a small part of the cover 3, so the contact area is small. Therefore, the magnet holder 2 can be rotated lightly.
- the diameter of the wheel 6 is approximately the same as the height of the magnet holder 2. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate the necessity of particularly expanding the space inside the case 5. Thereby, the distance between the permanent magnet accommodated in the magnet holder 2 and a coil can be shortened.
- FIG. 21 is a top view showing the configuration of the second comparative example.
- 22 is an elevational view showing a part of the comparative example shown in FIG.

- This is a schematic illustration of the structure of the characteristic portion.
- magnet holder 2 is supported by roller 23. Further, the roller 23 assists the rotation of the magnet holder 2.
- the rotating shaft 23a of the roller 23 extends in the up-down direction. In other words, the roller 23 is placed horizontally.
- the configuration shown in FIGS. 21 and 22 is essentially different from the configuration according to the embodiment of the present invention.
- Increasing the number of permanent magnets 1 accommodated in the magnet holder 2 increases the weight of the magnet holder 2.
- a rubber roller is used. Therefore, when the weight of the magnet holder 2 increases, the area of the portion (contact portion 23b) in contact with the magnet holder 2 on the surface of the roller 23 increases. As a result, the frictional force increases and the rotation of the magnet holder 2 becomes dull.
- the rotating shaft 23a of the roller 23 may be inclined from the vertical direction due to the weight of the magnet holder 2. Thus, even when the roller 23 is distorted, the roller 23 is difficult to rotate. As a result, the rotation of the magnet holder 2 becomes dull.
- the cover 3 attached to the magnet holder 2 is supported by the vertically placed wheels 6. Since force is applied in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis of the wheel, the problem that the rotation axis of the wheel is inclined does not occur. Therefore, the magnet holder 2 can be rotated lightly compared with the structure of FIG. 21 and FIG.
- the cross-sectional shape of the case 5 is substantially rectangular.
- the cross-sectional shape is the shape of the cross section in the radial direction of the ring.
- the cross-sectional shape of the winding frame 10 can also be made into a substantially rectangular shape.
- the sectional shape of the magnet holder 2 is also substantially rectangular.
- FIG. 23 is a diagram illustrating a cross section of a general coil.
- the coil 8 has a circular cross section. Inside the coil 8, a magnet holder 2 that houses the permanent magnet 1 is disposed. However, useless space is increased inside the coil 8, and the distance between the permanent magnet 1 and the coil 8 is increased. Thereby, the magnetic coupling force between the permanent magnet 1 and the coil 8 is reduced.
- FIG. 24 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing an arrangement relationship between the magnet holder and the coil according to the embodiment of the present invention.
- the coil 8 has a rectangular cross section. That is, the coil 8 is wound around the magnet holder 2 so as to follow the cross-sectional shape of the magnet holder 2.
- the magnetic coupling force between the permanent magnet 1 and the coil 8 can be increased. As a result, the output of the energy conversion device 100 can be increased.
- the cover 3 is attached to the ring-shaped magnet holder 2 in which the permanent magnet 1 is accommodated.
- the extension 3 a of the cover 3 is supported by the wheels 6.
- the wheel 6 is placed vertically and contacts the extending portion 3 a of the cover 3 and the bottom surface of the case 5.
- FIG. 25 is a top perspective view schematically showing the main part of the energy conversion device according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
- an energy conversion device 101 according to the second embodiment includes a container 31 provided above the magnet holder 2 and a container 31 so as to be freely rotatable within the container 31. Since the configuration of other parts of energy conversion device 101 is the same as the configuration of the corresponding portion of energy conversion device 100 shown in FIG. 1, the following description will not be repeated.
- the container 31 is disposed between the two coils 8.
- the container 31 is supported by a support member installed so as to straddle the case 5, for example.
- the arrangement of the container 31 is determined so that the support member does not interfere with the window 5 a of the case 5.
- the method and means for fixing the container 31 are not particularly limited.
- the spherical magnet 32 is a permanent magnet.
- the spherical magnet 32 serves to assist the rotation of the permanent magnet 1 accommodated in the magnet holder 2.
- the spherical magnet 32 is not particularly limited as long as it is a permanent magnet. Further, the size of the spherical magnet 32 can be appropriately determined.

- the plurality of permanent magnets 1 are shown to move linearly from left to right on the page.
- an attractive force is generated between the S pole of the permanent magnet and the N pole of the spherical magnet 32 in the second stage.
- the rotation of the plurality of permanent magnets 1 is assisted by the component in the forward direction of the plurality of permanent magnets 1.
- FIG. 26 shows the permanent magnet 1 accommodated in the magnet box 2 a of the magnet holder 2.

- the effect acting between each of the plurality of magnet blocks and the spherical magnet 32 is the same as the effect shown in FIG.
- the rotation of the magnet holder 2 in which the permanent magnet is accommodated can be further lightened by the spherical magnet.
- the configuration of the energy conversion device according to the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above configuration. Below, the modification of said structure for rotating the magnet holder 2 lightly is demonstrated. Note that the following modifications may be combined with the above configuration as appropriate.
- FIG. 27 is a diagram showing a first modification of the energy conversion device according to the embodiment of the present invention.

- the rotating shaft 36 c of the wheel 36 is passed through the defining member 39.
- the configuration of the defining member 39 can be the same as the configuration of the defining member 9 shown in FIGS.
- the wheel 36 is located on the opposite side of the wheel 6 with respect to the magnet holder 2, that is, on the outside with respect to the magnet holder 2.

- the cover 3 to which the magnet holder 2 is attached is supported by the plurality of wheels 6 and the plurality of wheels 36.
- all the weights of the magnet holder 2, the cover 3, and the gear 4 are distributed to more wheels. Therefore, since the force applied to one wheel becomes smaller, the rotation of the wheel becomes lighter. Therefore, the rotation of the magnet holder 2 can be lightened. Since the rotation of the magnet holder 2 can be lightened, for example, the number of permanent magnets accommodated in the magnet holder 2 can be increased. Thereby, the output of the energy conversion device can be further increased.
- FIG. 28 is a diagram showing a second modification of the energy conversion device according to the embodiment of the present invention.

- the teeth of the gear 4 may be on either the outer diameter side of the case 5 or the inner diameter side of the case 5.

- the gear 41 rotates.
- the gear 4 of the energy conversion device 100 is rotated. That is, mechanical energy is given to the energy conversion device 100. Since the magnet holder 2 is rotated by the rotation of the gear 4, the permanent magnet 1 passes through the coil 8. As a result, electric power is extracted from the coil 8.
