Abstract
Description
この回転子では、シャフトの先端部に、互いに同軸上に離間して配置された第1のリング及び第2のリングを絶縁して保持したモールド成形で形成された成形体本体を有するスリップリング装置が圧入されている。
また、高温時でも上記不都合が生じないように成形体本体とシャフトとの締め代を大きく設定した場合には、組付け時に割れ、破損が生じ易いという問題点があった。
そして、特に、引張り強度が3割程度に低下する、モールド成形で必ず生じるウェルドラインでの割れの発生が顕著であるという問題点があった。
圧入前の前記圧入突起部の内径は、前記シャフトの径よりも小さい締め代の関係にあり、また、前記内壁面では、前記モールド成形で生じたウェルドラインの部位に、前記突起部が除かれた非突起部が形成されている。
また、締め代は、高温時に成形体本体が膨張する量より小さくならないように設定することで、スリップリング装置がシャフトに対し相対的に回動することを防止することができる。
実施の形態1.
図1はこの発明の実施の形態1に車両用交流発電機の回転子1を示す側断面図である。
この車両用交流発電機(以下、発電機と略称する。)の回転子1は、ケース(図示せず)の内壁に固定された固定子(図示せず)の内側に設けられている。
この回転子1は、一端部にプーリ(図示せず)が固定されるシャフト2と、このシャフト2の中間部に固定され対向した一対の爪状磁極3,4と、この爪状磁極3,4の内部に導線が巻回された回転子コイル7と、シャフト2の他端部に圧入されたスリップリング装置5とを有している。
固定子は、固定子鉄心(図示せず)に固定子コイル(図示せず)が巻装されている。
一方、エンジンによってプーリは駆動され、シャフト2によって回転子1が回転するため、固定子鉄心には回転磁界が与えられ、固定子コイルには起電力が生じる。
スリップリング装置5は、第1のリング10及び第2のリング11と、第1のリング10に一端部が溶接により接続され他端部が回転子コイル7に溶接により接続された長尺リード12と、第2のリング11に一端部が溶接により接続され他端部が回転子コイル7に溶接により接続された短尺リード13と、これら第1のリング10、第2のリング11、長尺リード12及び短尺リード13を互いに絶縁して保持した、インサート成形により形成された成形体14とを備えている。
この場合、金型内では、第1のリング10及び第2のリング11を下向きにセットし、樹脂のゲートは、端子支持部17である。
そして、ゲートを通じて金型内に充填される溶融した樹脂は、端子支持部17を形成する空間、2つの連結部18を形成する空間を通じて成形体本体16を形成する空間で合流するために、成形体本体16ではウェルドラインが形成される。
一般に、ウェルドラインの引張り強度は、材料強度の3割程度に低下するため、スリップリング装置5のモールド割れは発生しやすい。
また、内壁面の両端部には、突起部が除かれた非突起部21が形成されている。この非突起部21はウェルドラインが発生する部位に相当する。
圧入前の圧入突起部20の内径の径は、シャフト2の径よりも小さい締め代の関係にあり、この締め代の値は、成形体14が高温時に膨張する量を超えて設定されている。
従って、第1のリング10と第2のリング11との間でリーク電流が生じて出力電流が低下するのを防止することができる。
また、圧入突起部20での締め代は、成形体14が高温時に膨張する量を超えて設定されているので、高温時に成形体14がシャフト2に対して回動するのを防止することができる。
このようにすることで、引張り強度が低いウェルドラインが生じた部位では、非突起部21が形成されており、シャフト2に成形体本体16の穴30を圧入する際にその部位に作用する応力が低下する。
従って、圧入突起部20Aでの締め代を実施の形態1と比較して大きくすることができ、高温時に成形体14がシャフト2に対して回動するのをより確実に防止することができる。
なお、このウェルドラインが発生する部位については、樹脂流動解析で特定される。
なお、この解析に供したシャフト2は、炭素鋼S48Cであり、成形体14は、ポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂(PPS樹脂)で形成されている。
この図7からは、例えば、圧入突起部20での締め代が200μmの場合、成形体本体16の非突起部21の距離a1,a2が1mmで、成形体本体16の端面での最大主応力が約380MPaであり、2mmで約190MPaとなり、非突起部21の軸線方向の距離を1mm増やせば成形体本体16の端面での応力が半減することがわかる。また、非突起部21の距離a1,a2を3mmにすると応力は50MPa程度となり、成形体本体16の端面での最大主応力が急激に低下していることがわかる。
そして、非突起部21の距離a1,a2が3.5mm程度離れると、成形体本体16の端面での最大主応力はほぼゼロとなっていることが分かる。
このことから、成形体本体16の端面からの非突起部21の距離a1,a2を3mm以上とすることで、成形体本体16の端面に作用する最大主応力が大幅に低下させることが可能となり、それだけシャフト2に成形体本体16の穴30を圧入する際の成形体本体16の端面を起点とした割れ、破損を大幅に低減させることができる。
図8はこの発明の実施の形態2に係る回転子1のスリップリング装置5を示す要部断面図、図9は図8のIX-IX線に沿った矢視断面図、図10は図8のX-X線に沿った矢視断面図である。
この実施の形態では、圧入突起部20Bうち、左右で非突起部21の位置が90°異なる。
他の構成は、実施の形態1の回転子1と同じである。
なお、非突起部21は、内壁面の軸線方向に沿って断続的に形成してもよい。
図11はこの発明の実施の形態3に係る回転子1の要部を示す分解断面図、図12は図11の回転子1の要部側断面図である。
この実施の形態では、成形体本体16の穴30の内壁面の両端部に非突起部21が形成されている。その非突起部21間では、第1のリング10側に、圧入突起部20が形成されており、第2のリング11側に円滑面31が形成されている。
シャフト2では、その先端部では、円滑面23及び被圧入突起部22が形成されている。成形体本体16の穴30にシャフト2の先端部が圧入されたときには、成形体本体16の圧入突起部20がシャフト2の円滑面23に嵌着しており、成形体本体16の円滑面31がシャフト2の被圧入突起部22に嵌着している。
他の構成は、実施の形態1と同じである。
また、このときには、成形体本体16の円滑面31がシャフト2の被圧入突起部22に嵌着しており、実施の形態1の回転子1と同様に、スリップリング装置5のシャフト2に対する組付強度を得ることができる。
また、上記各実施の形態では、非突起部21の内径とシャフト2の外径との間では、締め代があったが、隙間ばめであってもよい。
また、上記実施の形態では、車両用交流発電機の回転子1について説明したが、この発明は車両以外の例えば船外機用交流発電機の回転子にも適用することができる。
また、この発明は、電動機の回転子にも適用することができる。
Claims (7)
- 端部の周面が滑面であるシャフトと、
このシャフトに圧入したスリップリング装置とを備え、
前記スリップリング装置は、互いに同軸上に離間して配置され、回転子コイルと電気的に接続された第1のリング及び第2のリングと、前記第1のリング及び前記第2のリングを絶縁して保持するとともに、樹脂によりモールド成形された成形体本体とを有し、
前記シャフトが圧入された、前記成形体本体の穴の内壁面には、それぞれ軸線方向に沿って延びた複数の突起部が形成された圧入突起部が形成された回転電機の回転子であって、
圧入前の前記圧入突起部の内径は、前記シャフトの径よりも小さい締め代の関係にあり、
また、前記内壁面では、前記モールド成形で生じたウェルドラインの部位に、前記突起部が除かれた非突起部が形成されていることを特徴とする回転電機の回転子。 - 前記非突起部は、前記成形体本体の両端部の少なくとも一方に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転電機の回転子。
- 前記シャフトは、炭素鋼S48Cであり、前記成形体本体は、ポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂(PPS樹脂)であり、前記非突起部は、その軸線方向の寸法が前記成形体本体の端面から3mm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の回転電機の回転子。
- 前記非突起部は、前記内壁面の周方向に沿って断続的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載の回転電機の回転子。
- 前記非突起部は、前記内壁面の軸線方向に沿って断続的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1~4の何れか1項に記載の回転電機の回転子。
- 前記非突起部は、前記内壁面の前記シャフトの圧入側に形成されており、前記シャフトは、先端部に前記圧入突起部と嵌着した円滑面と、前記非突起部と嵌着した被圧入突起部とが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の回転電機の回転子。
- 前記回転電機は、車両用交流発電機であることを特徴とする請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載の回転電機の回転子。
