Definitions
- the present invention relates to an electric wire with a terminal provided with a plurality of electric wires in which copper electric wires and aluminum electric wires are mixed.
- a terminal for ground connection is connected to an end of the ground wire as described in Patent Document 1. Yes.
- the terminal for ground connection includes a wire side terminal portion and a ground side terminal portion.
- the electric wire side terminal portion has a shape connectable to the end of the grounding electric wire.
- the wire-side terminal portion has one crimping portion such as a conductor barrel that is crimped to a conductor exposed to the outside at the end of one grounding wire.
- the ground side terminal portion can be connected to a ground portion of the vehicle body wall surface.

- a copper electric wire made of copper is often used, but in recent years, an electric wire made of a metal different from copper, for example, an aluminum electric wire having a conductor made of aluminum has been used.
- the terminal for ground connection as described above has one crimping portion that can be connected to a single grounding wire, but it is highly reliable for a plurality of wires in which copper wires and aluminum wires are mixed. It is difficult to connect to the ground part at once. That is, the surface of the conductor of the aluminum electric wire is usually covered with an oxide film. Therefore, it is necessary for the crimping portion to break the oxide film and contact the aluminum conductor. Therefore, a higher degree of crimping than the degree of crimping on a copper conductor is required. Moreover, since hardness differs between copper and aluminum, variations in the crimped state are likely to occur. Therefore, when the crimping portion is crimped to the aluminum wire with the same crimping degree as that for crimping the copper wire, it is difficult to maintain connection reliability.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a terminal-attached electric wire capable of collectively connecting a plurality of electric wires in which copper electric wires and aluminum electric wires are mixed to a predetermined portion with high reliability.

- the electric wire side terminal portion has a first crimping portion having a shape that can be crimped to a conductor exposed at the end of the copper electric wire, and the second electric wire side terminal portion is made of the aluminum
- a second crimping portion having a shape capable of being crimped to a conductor exposed at the end of the wire, wherein the first crimping portion is capable of contacting a surface of the conductor of the copper electric wire. So that the second crimping portion has a second crimping height that allows contact with the conductor through the oxide film covering the surface of the conductor of the aluminum wire

Abstract
Description
(A)
