Abstract
Description
この種の使い捨ておむつは、サイドパネル材を、吸収性本体とは別工程で製造しておき、これを吸収性本体に付加して製造することができるので、サイドパネルに用いる資材の使用量や該資材から生じる廃棄物を抑えることができ、環境やコスト面で優れている。
また、特許文献2に記載のおむつにおいては、剥離不織布の層を配する位置によっては、係合力が高くなりすぎ、ファスナーを開け難くなり、使用感の低下を招いてしまう。
本実施形態の使い捨ておむつ1(以下、「おむつ1」ともいう。)は、図1に示すように、縦長の吸収体23を含み、腹側部A、背側部B、股下部Cに区分された吸収性本体2と、吸収性本体2の背側部Bにおける両側部2S,2Sに取り付けられた伸縮性のサイドパネル3,3とを備えている。
また、本明細書において、「肌当接面」とは、おむつ1を構成する各部材の表裏両面のうち、装着時に装着者の肌側に配される面であり、図3における「上面」と同じ面である。また、「非肌当接面」とは、おむつ1を構成する各部材の表裏両面のうち、装着時に装着者の肌側とは反対側に向けられる面であり、図3における「下面」と同じ面である。
おむつ1は、図1に示すように、腹側部Aから股下部Cを介して背側部Bに亘る方向の長手方向(以下「Y方向」ともいう。Y方向:中心線CLに平行な方向をいう。)と、長手方向(Y方向)に直交する幅方向(以下「X方向」ともいう。)とを備えている。
X方向に30mm×Y方向に20cmのフック材42(後述するように、フック材42としては、通常、使い捨ておむつ等の吸収性物品に用いられるものであれば、特に制限なく用いることができる。)を用意する。
a:サイドパネル3における伸縮可能弾性部33eに位置する襞31fに係止されているフック材42の剥離力について
サイドパネル3における伸縮可能弾性部33e(襞31f)に対応する部分をX方向に50mm×Y方向に50mmにカットして襞31fのサンプルを作成する。フック材42及び襞31fのサンプルのX方向とY方向とが一致するように重ねて積層体を得、この積層体上に1kgのローラーを乗せ3往復させて、係合させる。次いで、係合させた積層体を、X方向が剥離方向となるように、引っ張り試験機(テンシロン)(オリエンテック社製、商品名「RTA-100」)にセットし、剥離速度300mm/minの条件で常法に従って90°剥離試験を行い、得られた値を剥離力とする。
b:サイドパネル3における非伸縮可能弾性部33nに位置する凸部31cに係止されているフック材42の剥離力について
サイドパネル3における伸縮可能弾性部33n(凸部31c)に対応する部分と同じ構成の積層体を作成し、それをX方向に50mm×Y方向に50mmにカットして凸部31cのサンプルを作成する。以下、襞31fに係止されているフック材42の剥離力と同様にして測定する。
c:サイドパネル3における肌側シート31の延出部31sに位置する部位に係止されているフック材42の剥離力について
サイドパネル3における延出部31sに対応する部分と同じ構成の積層体を作成し、それをX方向に50mm×Y方向に50mmにカットして延出部31sのサンプルを作成する。以下、襞31fに係止されているフック材42の剥離力と同様にして測定する。
吸収性本体2を構成する表面シート21、裏面シート22、吸収体23としては、それぞれ、従来、使い捨ておむつ、生理用ナプキン等の吸収性物品に用いられるもの等を、特に制限なく用いることができる。例えば、表面シート21としては、親水性且つ液透過性の不織布や立体開孔フィルム等を用いることができる。裏面シート22としては、液不透過性又は液難透過性(撥水性を含む)の樹脂フィルムに、各種製法による不織布(例えば
、エアスルー不織布、スパンボンド不織布、スパンレース不織布、ニードルパンチ不織布等)を積層したシート等を用いることができる。また、吸収体23としては、パルプ繊維等の繊維の集合体(不織布であっても良い)又はこれに吸水性ポリマーの粒子を保持させてなる吸収性コアを、透水性の薄紙や不織布からなるコアラップシートで被覆したもの等を用いることができる。立体ガードを構成する立体ガード形成用シート24としては、フィルム、不織布、織物又はこれらの積層シート等を用いることができる。
サイドパネル3を構成する肌側シート31及び非肌側シート32、並びにファスニングテープ4のテープ基材42としては、従来、使い捨ておむつ、生理用ナプキン等の吸収性物品に用いられている各種のシート材を、特に制限なく用いることができる。
例えば、肌側シート31、非肌側シート32、テープ基材42としては、不織布、織物、フィルム又はこれらの積層シート等を用いることができる。
ファスニングテープ4とサイドパネル3とを固定する接着剤の層43を形成する接着剤をはじめ、各部材間を接合するための接着剤の好ましい材料としては、非晶性ポリオレフィン、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)、エチレン-アクリル酸エステル共重合体(EEA)、スチレン-ブタジエン-スチレンブロック共重合体(SBS)、スチレン-イソプレン-スチレンブロック共重合体(SIS)、スチレン-エチレン/ブチレン-スチレンブロック共重合体(SEBS)、スチレン-エチレン/プロピレン-スチレンブロック共重合体(SEPS)などの熱可塑性ポリマー及びそれらの混合物等が挙げられる。接着剤はホットメルト型が好ましい。
おむつ1は、図3に示すように、ファスニングテープ4が、使用前においては折り返されている。ファスニングテープ4は、使用前において、図3に示すように、テープ基材シート41にて折り返されて、フック材42がサイドパネル3の肌側シート31に直接対向しており、フック材42は、襞31fの形成された弾性部材33の伸縮可能弾性部33eに位置する部位及び弾性部材33のX方向外方側の非伸縮可能弾性部33nに位置する部位に跨っている。そのため、ファスニングテープ4のフック材42は、使用前において、図3に示すように、サイドパネル3における弾性部材33の伸縮可能弾性部33eに位置する襞31fに剥離自在に係止されていると共に、図4に示すように、サイドパネル3における弾性部材33のX方向外方側の非伸縮可能弾性部33nに位置する凸部31cに剥離自在に係止されている。図5(a)に示すように、ファスニングテープ4の先端側のフック材42は、係合力の高い襞31fの形成された部位に配されているので、使用前に折り返されたファスニングテープ4が不用意に開くのを防止することができる。また、使用時にファスニングテープ4の先端を持って剥がそうとすると、剥がし始めは、図5(a)に示すように、フック材42の係合力が高いが、次に、図5(b)に示すように、フック材42が、襞31fの形成された部位よりも係合力の低い、非伸縮可能弾性部33nに位置する凸部31cの形成された部位に配されているので、剪断力を低く抑えることができ、スムーズに開くことができ、使用時に開け易く、使用感が向上する。

前記ファスニングテープは、テープ基材シートと、該テープ基材シートの外方端部に複数個の係合突起を有するフック材とを有し、
複数本の前記弾性部材それぞれは、前記使い捨ておむつの幅方向に延在しており、幅方向に伸長状態で配設固定された伸縮可能弾性部と該伸縮可能弾性部の外方側に隣り合う非伸長状態で配設固定された非伸縮可能弾性部とを有し、
前記サイドパネルにおける複数本の前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位には、自然状態において、前記肌側シート及び前記非肌側シートによって、該弾性部材に交差する方向に延びる複数本の襞が形成されており、
前記ファスニングテープは、使用前において、前記テープ基材シートにて折り返されて、前記フック材が前記サイドパネルの前記肌側シートに直接対向しており、前記フック材は、前記襞の形成された前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位及び該弾性部材の前記非伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位に跨っている使い捨ておむつ。
前記ファスニングテープは、その根元部が、前記弾性部材の前記非伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位に配されている前記<1>記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記サイドパネルの前記肌側シートは、複数本の前記弾性部材の外方端部よりも幅方向外方に延在する延出部を有しており、
前記フック材は、使用前において、前記襞の形成された前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位から前記肌側シートの前記延出部に亘っている前記<1>又は<2>に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記サイドパネルにおける複数本の前記弾性部材は、使い捨ておむつの長手方向に略等しい間隔を設けて配されている前記<1>~<3>のいずれか1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記サイドパネルに配する複数本の前記弾性部材は、その直径が、0.1~2mmであり、その本数が、4~30本である前記<1>~<4>のいずれか1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部は、前記サイドパネルの自然状態において、該弾性部材の幅方向の全長の60~80%である前記<1>~<5>のいずれか1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記弾性部材の前記非伸縮可能弾性部は、前記サイドパネルの自然状態において、該弾性部材の幅方向の全長の5~20%の範囲である前記<1>~<6>のいずれか1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記使い捨ておむつは、前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位においては、前記弾性部材と交差して長手方向に延びている複数本の接着剤を介して、該弾性部材の該伸縮可能弾性部が前記肌側シート及び前記非肌側シートの間に固定されていると共に、該弾性部材が介在していない部位においては該肌側シート及び非肌側シートどうしが該接着剤を介して直接接合されており、
複数本の前記接着剤は、幅方向に延びる総ての前記弾性部材と交差して長手方向の全長に亘っている前記<1>~<7>のいずれか1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

長手方向に延びる複数本の前記接着剤が幅方向に略等しい間隔を設けて配されている前記<8>に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記フック材は、前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位の幅方向の長さが、該フック材の幅方向の全長の10~80%である前記<1>~<9>の何れか1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記サイドパネルにおける前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する前記襞に係止されている前記フック材の剥離力は、1.0~3.0N/20mmである前記<1>~<10>の何れか1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。

前記吸収性本体は、液透過性の表面シートと、液不透過性又は液難透過性の裏面シートと、これら両シート間に介在された液保持性の吸収体とを有し、
前記表面シート及び前記裏面シートそれぞれは、前記吸収体の肌当接面の全面及び非肌当接面の全面を覆っており、該吸収体の周縁から延出しており、延出した部分において固定されている前記<1>~<11>の何れか1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。
Claims (4)
- 縦長の吸収体を含み、腹側部、背側部、股下部に区分された吸収性本体と、該吸収性本体の前記背側部における両側部に取り付けられた伸縮性のサイドパネルとを備えた使い捨ておむつであって、
前記サイドパネルは、肌当接面側に位置する肌側シート、非肌当接面側に位置する非肌側シート、該肌側シート及び該非肌側シートの間に固定された複数本の弾性部材を有し、外方端部にはファスニングテープが設けられており、
前記ファスニングテープは、テープ基材シートと、該テープ基材シートの外方端部に複数個の係合突起を有するフック材とを有し、
複数本の前記弾性部材それぞれは、前記使い捨ておむつの幅方向に延在しており、幅方向に伸長状態で配設固定された伸縮可能弾性部と該伸縮可能弾性部の外方側に隣り合う非伸長状態で配設固定された非伸縮可能弾性部とを有し、
前記サイドパネルにおける複数本の前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位には、自然状態において、前記肌側シート及び前記非肌側シートによって、該弾性部材に交差する方向に延びる複数本の襞が形成されており、
前記ファスニングテープは、使用前において、前記テープ基材シートにて折り返されて、前記フック材が前記サイドパネルの前記肌側シートに直接対向しており、前記フック材は、前記襞の形成された前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位及び該弾性部材の前記非伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位に跨っている使い捨ておむつ。 - 前記ファスニングテープは、その根元部が、前記弾性部材の前記非伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位に配されている請求項1記載の使い捨ておむつ。
- 前記サイドパネルの前記肌側シートは、複数本の前記弾性部材の外方端部よりも幅方向外方に延在する延出部を有しており、
前記フック材は、使用前において、前記襞の形成された前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位から前記肌側シートの前記延出部に亘っている請求項1又は2に記載の使い捨ておむつ。 - 前記フック材は、前記弾性部材の前記伸縮可能弾性部に位置する部位の幅方向の長さが、該フック材の幅方向の全長の10%以上80%以下である請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載の使い捨ておむつ。
