実施例1では、上述した図1~図3に示す使い捨ておむつの具備する吸収体を作製した。以下具体的に説明する。吸収体を構成する吸収性コアは、長さ360mm、幅110mmであり、その両側部の括れ部の頂点が吸収性コアの外側縁から幅方向内側に15mmの位置となるように括れさせて作製した。吸収性コアは、高吸収性ポリマー(サンダイヤポリマー製:品番IM930)を坪量190g/m2、パルプ坪量205g/m2となるようにポリマー及びパルプを分散させて作製した。このように作製した吸収性コアの上面及び下面に、上面接着剤及び下面接着剤を、図2,図3に示すように、幅方向においては、吸収性コアの括れ部の頂点同士の間に亘って塗布し、長手方向においては、吸収性コアの全長に亘って塗工量6g/m2で塗工した。次いで、このように接着剤を塗布した吸収性コアを被覆シートであるティッシュペーパー(坪量13.5g/m2)で包んで実施例1の吸収体を作製した。
実施例2では、上述した図5~図7に示す使い捨ておむつの具備する吸収体を作製した。以下具体的に説明する。吸収体を構成する吸収性コアは、長さ350mm、幅135mmであり、吸収性コアの両外側縁それぞれから幅方向内側に25mmの位置に、空間部となる切離部を形成した。切離部は、長さ178mm、幅15mmであった。吸収性コアは、高吸収性ポリマー(サンダイヤポリマー製:品番IM930)を坪量135g/m2、パルプ坪量117g/m2となるようにポリマー及びパルプを分散させて作製した。このように作製した吸収性コアの中央吸収性コア及び一対のサイド吸収性コアそれぞれの上面及び下面に、上面接着剤及び下面接着剤を、図6,図7に示すように、吸収性コアの全長に亘って塗工量6g/m2で塗工した。次いで、このように接着剤を塗布した吸収性コアを被覆シートであるティッシュペーパー(坪量13.5g/m2)で包んで実施例2の吸収体を作製した。
比較例1では、上述した実施例1と同じ吸収性コアを用いた。実施例1と同じ接着剤を、塗工量6g/m2となるように、実施例1と同じティッシュペーパーの全面に塗工し、接着剤を塗工したティッシュペーパーで吸収性コアを包んで比較例1の吸収体を作製した。
比較例2では、上述した実施例2と同じ吸収性コアを用いた。実施例2と同じ接着剤を、塗工量6g/m2となるように、実施例2と同じティッシュペーパーの全面に塗工し、接着剤を塗工したティッシュペーパーで吸収性コアを包んで比較例2の吸収体を作製した。
作製した各吸収体について、以下の方法により、ウエットバック量(人工尿分割注入時)をそれぞれ評価した。また人工尿の全量注入後の漏れを目視にて観察した。これらの結果を下記表1に示す。
各吸収体を水平面上に固定した状態で、吸収体の中心部に人工尿40gを吸収させ、10分間放置し、さらに人工尿40gを吸収させた。この操作を繰り返し合計80gの人工尿を注入した。次いで、人工尿の吸収部位上にアドバンテック製の70mm×70mmのサイズのろ紙を16枚重ね、更にその上に100mm×100mmの3.5kgの錘をのせた。2分経過後錘を取り除き、人工尿を吸収したろ紙の重量を測定した。この重量から吸収前のろ紙の重量を差し引き、その値をウエットバック量とした。
また、表1の結果から明らかなように、実施例2の吸収体は、比較例2の吸収体に比べてウエットバック量が少なく、吸収体に含まれる吸収性ポリマー本来の吸収力を十分に発揮でき、漏れ回数も少ないことが分かった。このような実施例2の吸収体を用いて使い捨ておむつを作製すると、実施例2の吸収体を用いて作製したおむつは、比較例2の吸収体を用いて作製したおむつに比べて、防漏性の向上が期待できる。
Claims (6)
- 液保持性の吸収性コアと接着剤を介して該吸収性コアを包む被覆シートとを有する縦長の吸収体を具備し、腹側部、背側部、股下部に区分された使い捨ておむつであって、
前記吸収性コアは、前記股下部における長手方向に沿う両側部それぞれに、空間部を形成しており、
前記接着剤は、前記吸収性コアの上面と前記被覆シートとの間及び該吸収性コアの下面と該被覆シートとの間に塗布され、且つ前記空間部に対応する位置には塗布されておらず、
前記吸収体においては、前記吸収性コアの前記空間部の上面及び下面に位置する該吸収性コアを包む前記被覆シート同士が前記接着剤で固定されていない使い捨ておむつ。 - 前記吸収性コアは、前記股下部の前記両側部それぞれが幅方向内側に括れた括れ部を有しており、該括れ部が前記空間部である請求項1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。
- 前記吸収性コアは、中央吸収性コアと、前記股下部における該中央吸収性コアの両側縁部に沿って対称的に配された一対のサイド吸収性コアと、該中央吸収性コアと一対のサイド吸収性コアそれぞれとの間に配された切離部とを有しており、該切離部が前記空間部である請求項1に記載の使い捨ておむつ。
- 前記使い捨ておむつは、前記吸収体の非肌対向面に液不透過性の裏面シートを具備し、
前記吸収体は、吸収体固定用接着剤を介して前記裏面シートに固定されており、
前記吸収体固定用接着剤は、前記股下部における前記吸収性コアの前記中央吸収性コアに対応する位置に塗布されている請求項3に記載の使い捨ておむつ。 - 前記接着剤は、前記空間部に対応する位置のみ塗布されていない請求項1~4の何れか1項に記載の使い捨ておむつ。
- 前記吸収性コアは、高吸収性ポリマーを有する請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の使い捨ておむつ。
