Abstract
본 발명은 다공성 구조의 전극조립체 및 이를 포함하는 이차전지에 대한 것으로, 다수의 양극, 음극 및 분리막을 포함하는 전극조립체에 있어서, 하나 이상의 관통구를 포함하는 전극조립체 및 상기 관통구에 대응되는 위치에 추가 실링된 관통 실링부를 포함하는 이차전지를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 이차전지는 전극조립체와 전지케이스의 융착 부위를 추가하여 안정적으로 고정함으로써 전극조립체의 이동을 억제하여 내부 단락 등을 방지하고 안전성을 높일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 다공성 구조의 전극조립체의 구성으로 인하여 전해액의 함침성을 크게 높일 수 있는 효과가 있다. 나아가, 상기 이차전지를 다수 포함하는 전지모듈에서는 상기 관통구를 통하여 냉각 라인 또는 고정봉을 설치함으로써 전지의 안전성 및 성능, 수명을 향상시키는 효과를 제공한다.
