Abstract

La présente invention concerne un matériau lubrifiant en bande pour tréfilage à sec novateur qui peut non seulement être utilisé dans des conditions de tréfilage rigoureuses, par exemple à haute température sous haute pression et à grande vitesse, comme les lubrifiants pulvérulents ou granulaires traditionnels pour tréfilage à sec, mais qui peut aussi tolérer tout à la fois des réductions de diamètre pour couvrir un large éventail de diamètres des plus petits aux plus grands, ainsi qu'un large éventail de vitesses du fil des plus lentes aux plus rapides. Ledit matériau lubrifiant n'est pas limité en termes de forme des installations, est caractérisé par de remarquables propriétés en termes de capacité lubrifiante, de conformabilité, d'extensibilité, d'adhérence, de résistance à la chaleur, d'aptitude au traitement, d'aptitude au façonnage, de sécurité d'emploi, de durabilité, de productivité et autres, se révèle efficace pour ce qui est d'améliorer l'environnement de travail et se montre respectueux de l'environnement. Ledit matériau lubrifiant en bande pour tréfilage à sec est un matériau comprenant un film comportant de 10 à 90 % en poids d'un sel métallique d'un acide gras saturé et 10 à 90 % en poids d'une résine thermoplastique.
