Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for producing a light shielding material that can be suitably used for light shielding parts of various optical devices, and particularly having a perfect matting performance, and a light shielding material produced by this method.
- Patent Literature As a light-shielding material used for light-shielding parts typified by shutters and diaphragms of optical equipment, a light-shielding film in which a light-shielding film containing an organic filler is provided on a film substrate made of a synthetic resin is known (Patent Literature). 1).
- Patent Document 1 since the light-shielding film is formed on the film substrate using a coating liquid containing an organic filler in which only the average particle diameter is controlled, the matte property of the light-shielding film is not perfect. Specifically, reflection of light incident at an angle close to the vertical direction with respect to the film surface of the light shielding film can be suppressed, but light incident at an angle close to the plane direction is reflected. This reflection becomes a defect called a ghost in the optical apparatus, which causes a decrease in product performance. As described above, the technique of Patent Document 1 cannot absorb light incident at all angles.
- Patent Document 1 since a coating liquid containing an organic filler in which only the average particle size is controlled is used, the film thickness range of the light-shielding film capable of obtaining low glossiness is very narrow, and its formation is not easy.
- a light-shielding material for an optical device having a light-shielding film having a wide incident angle region (hereinafter referred to as a low glossiness region) where low glossiness can be obtained while maintaining necessary physical properties of the light-shielding film such as light-shielding properties.
- a method for manufacturing and a light shielding material for optical equipment manufactured by this method are provided.
- a coating solution for forming a light-shielding film capable of forming a light-shielding film having a wide range of low glossiness with various film thicknesses.
- the inventors of the present invention have made studies focusing on the particle size distribution, not the average particle size, as a selection criterion for a matting agent that can directly impart a matting effect (synonymous with low glossiness) to the light shielding film.
- a matting agent having a wide particle size distribution at a certain particle size, while maintaining the necessary physical properties of the light shielding film, an angle closer to the vertical direction (for example, 20 degrees) with respect to the film surface of the light shielding film, The reflected light with respect to the incident light can be surely suppressed even for light incident at an angle close to the plane direction (for example, 85 degrees) as well as 60 degrees, and the width of the low gloss area can be expanded. I found out that I can do it.
- the method for producing a light shielding material for optical equipment is a method for producing a light shielding material for optical equipment in which a light shielding film is formed on a substrate, and includes at least a binder resin, black fine particles, and a coefficient of variation (CV value).
- a coating liquid containing 20 or more matting agents is prepared, and this coating liquid is applied onto a substrate and dried to form a light-shielding film.
- the light-shielding material for optical equipment is a light-shielding material for optical equipment having a light-shielding film containing at least a binder resin, black fine particles and a matting agent on a base material, wherein the light-shielding film has a variation coefficient of 20 or more.
- the 60-degree specular gloss (G60) is less than 1 and the 85-degree specular gloss (G85) is adjusted to less than 15.
- a coating liquid for forming a light shielding film according to the present invention is a coating liquid for forming the light shielding film of a light shielding material for an optical device having a light shielding film on a substrate, and includes at least a binder resin, black fine particles, a matting agent, It contains a solvent, and the matting agent has a coefficient of variation of 20 or more.
- a coating liquid containing a matting agent having a coefficient of variation of 20 or more is used, it is possible to form a light-shielding film provided with a full matte effect in a low gloss region on a substrate. it can. Further, since the coating liquid contains a binder resin and black fine particles, it is possible to maintain necessary physical properties such as light shielding properties for the formed light shielding film.
- the light shielding film is formed using the coating liquid containing a matting agent having a coefficient of variation of 20 or more.
- a matting agent having a coefficient of variation of 20 or more.
- the coating liquid of the present invention since it contains a matting agent having a coefficient of variation of 20 or more, it is easy to form a light-shielding film having a wide glossy effect in a low glossiness region with various film thicknesses. It is. As described above, since the coating liquid used in Patent Document 1 contains an organic filler whose average particle size is only controlled, the film thickness range of the light-shielding film capable of obtaining low glossiness is almost pinpoint, and the presence of the organic filler It was extremely difficult to control the state and workability was poor.
- the light shielding material for an optical device according to the present embodiment can be suitably used for a light shielding component of an optical device such as a camera (including a mobile phone with a camera) or a projector, and has a base material.
- a light shielding film is formed on at least one surface of the substrate.
- the light shielding film of the present embodiment is configured to include at least a binder resin, black fine particles, and a matting agent.
- the thickness of the light-shielding film can be appropriately changed according to the application to which the light-shielding material is applied, but is usually preferably 2 ⁇ m to 15 ⁇ m, more preferably 2 ⁇ m to 12 ⁇ m, and further preferably about 2 ⁇ m to 10 ⁇ m. In recent years, there is a tendency to reduce the thickness of the light-shielding film (for example, about 6 ⁇ m or less), and this is addressed. In this embodiment, as described later, a coating liquid containing a specific matting agent is used.
- the thickness of the light shielding film formed on the substrate is 2 ⁇ m, low glossiness is easily obtained, and the light shielding film It is easy to prevent pinholes and the like, and necessary and sufficient light shielding properties are easily obtained.
- the thickness is 15 ⁇ m or less, it is easy to prevent the light shielding film from cracking.
- the light-shielding film of this embodiment is formed using a coating liquid containing a specific matting agent.
- the 60-degree specular gloss (G60) is less than 1, preferably less than 0.7, more preferably It is less than 0.5, more preferably less than 0.3.
- the 85 degree specular gloss (G85) is less than 15, preferably less than 10, more preferably less than 8, and still more preferably less than 6.
- the light-shielding film of this embodiment has a 20-degree specular gloss (G20) of less than 0.3.
- Specular gloss is a parameter that indicates the degree of reflection of light incident on the surface of the light-shielding film. The smaller this value, the lower the glossiness, and the lower the glossiness, the more the matte effect is judged.
- the 60-degree specular gloss refers to how much 100 light incident at an angle of 60 degrees from the vertical direction of the surface of the light-shielding film is reflected by the light-receiving section inclined by 60 degrees toward the reflection side (light-receiving section). It is a parameter indicating whether or not to be incident on.
- the 85 degree specular gloss and the 20 degree specular gloss are based on the same idea.
- the light shielding film is formed using a coating liquid containing a specific matting agent, the surface of the light shielding film is controlled to a specific shape, and the light shielding film has a wide matte effect with a wide low gloss area. Is granted.
- the “average particle diameter” refers to a median diameter (D50) measured with a laser diffraction particle size distribution measuring apparatus (for example, Shimadzu Corporation: SALD-7000).
- the CV (coefficient of variation) value referred to in this specification means a coefficient of variation (also referred to as a relative standard deviation) of the particle size distribution when used for preparing a coating liquid.

- thermoplastic resins such as resins, urea-based resins, and diallyl phthalate-based resins, and thermosetting resins, and one or a mixture of two or more of these is used. When used for heat-resistant applications, thermosetting resins are preferably used.
- the content of the binder resin is preferably 20% by weight or more, more preferably 30% by weight or more, and further preferably 40% by weight or more in the nonvolatile content (solid content) contained in the coating liquid. By setting it as 20 weight% or more, it is easy to prevent the adhesive force of the light shielding film with respect to a base material falling.
- the content of the binder resin is preferably 70% by weight or less, more preferably 65% by weight or less, and still more preferably 60% by weight or less in the nonvolatile content of the coating solution. By setting it to 70% by weight or less, it is easy to prevent a decrease in necessary physical properties (such as light shielding properties) of the light shielding film.
- the black fine particles are blended in order to color the binder resin black, and to impart light shielding properties to the coating film (light shielding film) after drying.
- the black fine particles include carbon black, titanium black, aniline black, and iron oxide.
- carbon black is particularly preferably used because it can simultaneously impart both light shielding properties and antistatic properties to the coating film.
- antistatic properties are required in addition to the light shielding property is that when the light shielding material is manufactured, when it is die-cut into a predetermined shape, or when the product (light shielding member) after die cutting is set as a part in an optical device. This is in consideration of workability.
- the average particle diameter of the black fine particles is preferably as fine as possible. In the present embodiment, for example, an average particle size of less than 1 ⁇ m, preferably 500 nm or less is used.
- the content of the black fine particles is preferably 5% by weight to 20% by weight, more preferably 10% by weight to 20% by weight in the nonvolatile content (solid content) contained in the coating liquid.
- the content is easy to prevent deterioration of the light shielding property as a necessary physical property of the light shielding film.
- By adjusting the content to 20% by weight or less the adhesion and scratch resistance of the light-shielding film are improved, and it is easy to prevent a decrease in coating film strength and an increase in cost.
- the matting agent blended in the coating solution for forming a light-shielding film as used in this embodiment generally forms fine irregularities on the surface of the coating film after drying, thereby reflecting incident light on the coating film surface. It is blended in order to reduce the glossiness (mirror glossiness) of the coating film and to ultimately improve the matteness of the coating film.
- Patent Document 1 uses an organic filler in which only the average particle diameter is controlled. However, as described above, the perfect matting performance can be achieved by simply controlling the average particle diameter. Can't get.
- organic fine particles examples include cross-linked acrylic beads (transparent or uncolored).
- examples of the inorganic fine particles include silica, magnesium aluminate metasilicate, and titanium oxide.
- inorganic fine particles may be used.
- organic fine particles are preferably used in the present embodiment because organic fine particles are more likely to impart perfect matting performance while maintaining coating strength.
- “using organic fine particles” includes not only using organic fine particles but also using inorganic fine particles together with organic fine particles.
- the content of organic fine particles in all matting agents can be, for example, 90% by weight or more, preferably 95% by weight or more.
- the CV value coefficient of variation of particle size distribution
- a matting agent preferably organic fine particles having a CV value at a certain particle size of 20 or more, preferably 25 or more, more preferably 30 or more is used.
- the light can be incident at any angle from the angle close to the vertical direction (for example, 20 degrees) to the film surface of the light-shielding film and from 60 degrees to an angle close to the plane direction (for example, 85 degrees). Therefore, the reflected light with respect to the incident light can be reliably suppressed, and a perfect matting performance can be obtained. As a result, there is no problem called a ghost in the optical apparatus to which the light shielding material obtained in the present embodiment is applied.
- the sharp distribution has the same particle diameter, and therefore the unevenness of the light-shielding film made of the coating liquid using the same tends to be uniform.
- the matting agent having a broad particle size distribution those having large and small particle diameters are included with the average particle diameter being substantially in the center, and the unevenness of the light shielding film comprising the same is mixed.
- the particle size of the matting agent serving as a reference for the CV value is based on the thickness Tt of the light-shielding film to be formed in view of the fact that the product mode of the light-shielding material (particularly the thickness of the entire light-shielding material and the thickness of the light-shielding film) varies depending on the use location in the optical apparatus.
- the particle size of the matting agent used is determined. Specifically, it is 35% or more, preferably 40% or more, more preferably 45% or more, and 110% or less, preferably 105%, of the Tt with respect to the film thickness Tt of the light shielding film to be formed. It is desirable to use a matting agent having an average particle size corresponding to about 100% or less, more preferably about 100% or less.
- a matting agent having an average particle diameter of about 3.5 ⁇ m to about 11 ⁇ m can be used.

- the film thickness Tt after drying of the formed coating film is May be different.
- a coating film formed using a coating liquid containing a broad matting agent has a particle size larger than the average particle size compared to a coating film formed using a coating liquid containing a sharp matting agent. It is thought that the measured film thickness is increased by the presence of such a large matting agent in the coating film.
- the light shielding film is formed on the film base material using an organic filler having a particle size that is considerably smaller than the thickness of the light shielding film after drying (implementation).
- an organic filler having a particle size that is considerably smaller than the thickness of the light shielding film after drying (implementation).
- all examples use an organic filler with an average particle size of 3 ⁇ m, and the light-shielding film after drying has a thickness of 10 ⁇ m in Examples 1 to 3 and 12 ⁇ m in Example 4.
- the organic filler tends to be buried in the light shielding film, and it is difficult to control the organic filler to be present near the surface of the light shielding film.
- Patent Document 1 uses an organic filler whose average particle size is controlled, and therefore the matte performance cannot be fully achieved. This is as described above.
- the content of the matting agent is 50 parts by weight or more, preferably 60 parts by weight or more, more preferably 70 parts by weight or more, and 170 parts by weight or less, preferably 140 parts by weight or less with respect to 100 parts by weight of the binder resin. More preferably, it can be 110 parts by weight or less.
- solvent water, an organic solvent, a mixture of water and an organic solvent, or the like can be used.
- the light shielding material manufactured in the present embodiment is used for an ultra-thin spacer that is incorporated between lenses, for example, when the light shielding film does not require high slidability, conventionally, the light shielding film has been used. It is not necessary to blend the lubricant (wax) blended into the coating solution. However, even when used for such applications, a lubricant may be blended.

- solid lubricants such as alcohol-based lubricants, metal soaps, talc, and molybdenum disulfide
- fluororesin particles such as silicone resin particles and polytetrafluoroethylene wax, cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate particles, and cross-linked polystyrene particles.
- a particulate lubricant When blending a particulate lubricant, it is particularly preferable to use an organic lubricant.
- a fluorine compound, silicone oil, or the like when blending a lubricant, it is preferable to use a liquid at room temperature. This is because a liquid lubricant is unlikely to affect the formation of the irregular shape on the surface of the light shielding film by the matting agent.
- a flame retardant In the coating solution for forming the light shielding film, a flame retardant, an antibacterial agent, an antifungal agent, an antioxidant, a plasticizer, a leveling agent, a flow control, if necessary, as long as the function of the present invention is not impaired. It is also possible to add additives such as an agent, an antifoaming agent and a dispersing agent.
- the prepared coating solution for forming a light-shielding film is applied onto the substrate in an amount that provides, for example, a film thickness Tt, dried, and then heated and pressurized as necessary.
- the base material examples include synthetic resin films such as a polyester film, a polyimide film, a polystyrene film, and a polycarbonate film.
- synthetic resin films such as a polyester film, a polyimide film, a polystyrene film, and a polycarbonate film.
- a polyester film is preferably used, and a stretched polyester film, particularly a biaxially stretched polyester film, is particularly preferable in terms of excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability.
- a polyimide film is used suitably for the use for a heat resistant use.
- synthetic resin films containing black pigments such as carbon black and other pigments, and thin-film metal plates that have light-shielding properties and strength on the substrate itself can also be used.
- an appropriate substrate can be selected depending on each application. For example, when using as a light-shielding material, if a high light-shielding property is required, a synthetic resin film containing the same kind of black fine particles as described above or a thin metal plate can be used. A transparent or foamed synthetic resin film can be used.
- the light-shielding film formed by the method described later can provide a sufficient light-shielding property as a light-shielding material itself, when the synthetic resin film contains black fine particles, the synthetic resin film looks black visually. It may be contained so that the optical transmission density is about 2.
- the thickness of the base material varies depending on the application to be used, but is generally about 6 ⁇ m to 250 ⁇ m from the viewpoint of strength and rigidity as a light shielding material. From the viewpoint of improving the adhesion to the light-shielding film, the substrate can be subjected to anchor treatment, corona treatment, plasma treatment or EB treatment as necessary.
- the coating method of the coating solution is not particularly limited, and can be performed by a conventionally known method (for example, dip coating, roll coating, bar coating, die coating, blade coating, air knife coating, etc.).
- the coating liquid used in this embodiment has a specific gravity of about 0.9 to 1.2, and its solid content (NV) is usually 5% or more, preferably 10% or more, and usually 40% or less. Preferably, it is adjusted to about 30% or less.

Abstract
Description
その後、乾燥を行って遮光膜A1(5.5μm)、A2(8μm)、A3(10μm)、A4(15μm)を形成し、遮光材サンプルを作製した。
